    Yeah so this game is not very good. It may be fun for a little while but at the end of the day it’s the same formula with boring gameplay. At its peak Fortnite was a pretty fun game but now I don’t see myself playing it ever again due to the lack of Goldfish crackers :/

    fortnite is a **** game that is only for kids. Its not creative cause its stealing from better games like Apex Legends. Bullets are broken, so are the weapons, the community is the worst in gaming history, just dont play this bullcrap not worth your time.

    This game is big n00b i always ask for vbucks but i am broke and now im selling my dog for those epic skins. Fortnite is a solid 0 because my dog died because of it.

    Fortnite is bad because Epic Games is horrible at developing the game. Along with trash skins, dumb emotes, and a childish look to the game also comes a lack of creativity and a removal of fun. With many tweaks that ruin the gameplay to the fact that this game doesn’t look more gritty or bloody, which is disappointing for a shooter game.

    But hey, at least the 7 year olds stopped trolling    Fortnite is bad because Epic Games is horrible at developing the game.     This game is complete garbage. Have never liked it. People who play this have an IQ of about 30. Most are 3yr olds. Why do people even play this trash? Not saying shooters are bad cause i love shooters but this is garbage. There are far more games that require more attention than this game which was prob made in 1 week

    I do not like the toxic community of the game, it is just annoying. The game had potential but since season 8 or 9 it is not more usable. The players are average 10 years old and epic games deducts the players when we talk about micro transactions.

    Fortnite é um jogo ótimo para jogar sozinho e ainda melhor para jogar com amigos, as danças e as skins são muito legais. Não tem-se muito a falar sobre o jogo, é simples mas consegue te proporcionar ótimos momentos, pra mim é o melhor jogo do gênero.

    BATTLE ROYALE [FREE]
    I have been playing it since Season 2. It was fun THEN. Season 3 people started to team up in solo instead of playing Duos or Squads, at the time it was just 2 people teaming up. Fast forward to today's Season 9 you ALWAYS have a minimum of 4 people teaming up in SOLO. In every single match solo, duos and squads you will ALWAYS have people teaming up, whether its 4 people working together in solo (most I encountered was 10 people thanks to the replays), 6 in Duos or 3 squads teaming up in squads. (YES! Even in squads people team up you read that right). So how are they punished you ask? Simple. They aren't. The report feature is a joke. I encountered the same teamers in solo 4 TIMES IN A ROW! reported the same person and nothing happened. So why does Epic do nothing? Maybe because the teamers have spent so much money on the game Epic will let it slide. The devs have made so much money off Fortnite, they simply don't care how toxic the game is getting. As long as it generates income and enough money for them why would they care? They would rather alienate the PC marketplace with exclusives. So to summarise my Fortnite: Free to play Battle Royale experience, the game WAS fun, It WAS amazing but over time toxic randoms and teamers have corrupted this experience. So what could be worse than a bunch of toxic people teaming up in solo, duos and squads in a free game you ask?
    Let me answer your question playing with toxic randoms in a PAID game. I'm talking about Save the World, the paid portion of Fortnite.

    SAVE THE WORLD [PAID]
    This is a paid experience. It has a both a narrative AND a meta narrative.

    Whats the narrative?
    (SPOILERS)
    Avoid getting scammed. EVERY SINGLE LOBBY - you will hear "Do you want to trade?" this is the main 60% of Save the World. NO ONE will EVER help you actually pass a mission. I had to do it solo. All in all the story is basically about getting scammed by real people for trading weapons. Then the scammer will say either "Noob" or they will immediately leave the match once they have your weapons. Don't bother reporting them, its the Fortnite experience.

    Whats the meta narrative?
    (SPOILERS)
    So what's the other 40% of Save the World?
    Listening to 20 - 30 year old MEN AND WOMEN (NOT boys and girls) convince 10 - 15 year old kids (you read that right. KIDS). to kill themselves, making them cry, bullying them, harrassing them and other nasty stuff. I reported the man and woman. That was over 7 months ago. Did Epic ban them? Nope. Epic can't hear anything under all that money they have from everyone. So you're wondering that was 7 months ago. What about today well it seems everyone now just asks to trade (to scam you) and leave.

    You're asking is that Save the World? Yes it is. It is what I experienced playing with randoms.
    Epic promised it would be free. Obviously It hasn't.
    Ohhh so you want to know what I learned from the actual Save the World mode during my solo games.
    It's about fighting monsters and defending a van. People only play it to scam others. Yes you earn some v-bucks in it. I can ONLY recommend Save the World to get a free battle pass in battle royale, but THAT IS IT! The actual experience in it is just as toxic as Battle Royale. Reporting players doesn't even work. Battle Royale is full of teamers, Save the World is filled with scammers and Creative is just meh!

    To summarise: The game was fun last year, but the toxic community have made this game unplayable. No punishment system, the report feature is a joke and Epic Games the developer gives 0 care about it. The game is a toxic mess.

    I RECOMMEND THIS GAME TO NO ONE!
    If you get it for FREE, YOU ARE BEING ROBBED!
    If you buy it, YOU ARE GETTING SCAMMED!

    BR Season 2 - December 2017 – February 2018 = it was actually fun! No toxic people (yet!) 9/10
    BR Season 3 - February 2018 – April 2018 = It was at it's peak! Still fun! but notice solo teaming. 8/10
    BR Season 4 - May 2018 – July 2018 = Solo teaming is growing, reporting was kind of working. 8/10
    BR Season 5 - July 2018 – September 2018 = Duos Teaming is a thing now (things get worse). 3/10
    BR Season 6 - September 2018 – December 2018 = Squads Teaming is a thing now. 2/10
    BR Season 7 - December 2018 – February 2019 = Reporting feature is noticeably useless 1/10
    BR Season 8 - March 2019 - May 2019 = Teaming is in every session. 0/10

    BR Season 9 - May 2019 - July 2019 = The game is infested with teamers solo teaming is now up to 10 people.

    Game is fun at times. A lot of people play the game so the chances you outplay at least 1 person are good. Unfortunately a lot of people are very good at this game too and for a survival game you will be surprised how many are willing to die just to kill you.

    Simple review. Game had potencial it score depends on 2 factors. 1. Do you play alone or with frends? Its fun frend based game, solo and random matchmaking is bad. 2. Items variations. U dont need to pay anything its al f2p unless you wanna spend money on looks. Game is nothing special tho standard mobile like f2p game

    Absolute worst game 2017. A truly downgrade from PUBG thats not all. Community is awful (probably one of the worst) the updates are now garbage, the balance sucks and the worst thing about this game is that Epic is UNCREATIVE! They ripoffed PUBG, Apex Legends, Overwatch, Minecraft and Realm Royale. Such a shame that this game just lost thr potential, that it had in S1 - S2...

The graphics are impressive, the gameplay is mediocre (it's too easy to miss) and I kind of feel like there should be a story mode here, but there isn't. Its a very good game it has a lot of potential,this games rewards and gifts you in battle royal and stw more than you can buy in the game the developers they seriously care about this game,the weekly updates the events the content the meta changes and most of all the battle royal storyline are really great and cool, and also not to mention that stw got improved with new stuff the hero loadout is even bigger and better and the xray llamas are helpfull and the player reporting got even better now

    I understand this game has some flaws the combat in BR requires too much luck or rng on your side and the item drop is kinda tricky with the rng too and building requires a very good skill,and in stw there are afk's and scammers but fortunaly epic is working on something to get rid of scammers leechers and most of all afk's if you dont believe go and watch on youtube the stw dev update (2/1) anyways i would definitely give this game a try and i recommend it to all of you.    … Expand

    Only played the main game a few times, nothing too special, just a stock standard 4-player PvE horde mode. Played the battle royale a fair bit. A very solid game in my opinion. The build mechanic continues to set it apart from all other battle royales on the market. Everything is well polished and the game is constantly updated with new content and very cool limited time events.     This game is a great paced game where it uses building as a skill gap. Although over time, the developers have reduced skill gaps, making it favorable to new players. I don't respect the developers doing this because all of the experienced players have been left in the dirt. This game was good but the developers keep adding unnecessary additions to the game.

    Cross platform, console at a disadvantage vs those pc users. I understand allowing to have same account across all platforms but allowing them to play with each other is stupid of fartnite. Played on both and PC with mouse and keyboard have a huge advantage. A lot easier to build, aim, shoot. It is possible to play without having any cosmetics added, but most people decide to spend the money to buy a skin as they all look very cool. However, the prices can be outrageous sometimes. To get a little bundle which comes with a skin and a glider can cost up to $20. The in-game building mechanic makes it stand out against its competition. It brings in an aspect of skill that takes time to master. In a matter of seconds, an entire fortress would be built between two people trying to get on top of one another and win the fight. This being said, those who are new to the game will have to get used to the steep learning curve. The final mode would be Creative. In here you are allowed to do pretty much whatever you want and build to your heart's content. Fortnite is still in early access and still has many things to change before it actually becomes released. Although there is some balancing issues, there really aren't any game-breaking issues and is well optimized and stabilized. The gameplay is solid, the guns work as intended for the most part and Epic keep working on new content, jumping works in an interesting way with you losing height each time and building spices up a relatively bland combat style. You land in from a flying bus and grab loot, run away from a storm and fight people to be the last one standing, simple enough concept and it works, so well in fact that the PUBG developers got scared by a good game and greedily tried to sue Epic.

    This is where the game i would say shoots itself in the dick, but it actually just grabs a razor blade covered chainsaw and a flamethrower and just goes ham on itself.
    The community is made of 5 year olds, which gets really annoying when they yell at you because you didn't save their annoying ass. The entire fanbase is mostly either retarded, has some mental problem, or are just unborn fetuses. Along with this there is a case of serious power creep, as the game got older the average player skill level went up massively, which means most new players will get absolutely destroyed by professionals and because their 5 they will likely just delete the game, its free after all. I feel Epic needs to implement a ranking system if they want to keep the dying game alive, put great players against only great players and let the newbies play against other newbies or really bad players.

    Graphics
    The developers were smart here, there game will look great 100 years from now because it isn't trying to be realistic, as a result the Epic don't have to spend any time improving the graphics, saving them money and time they could be using the bathe in $100 bills.

    Overall it was a great game before it was the biggest game out there, the community ruined it by being well, 5 year olds. If you want to get into it, i don't recommend it; everyone is good at the game now so you'll just fail. Unlike Rainbow Six Siege, losing isn't fun because you can only get better by getting better building or aim, while in Siege you can do a whole host of things to improve.    … Expand

Every single day there is something new added or amended in the game, whether it be a new skin or dance added to the shop, or a giant low-gravity cube that puzzles everyone as it inches its way across the map. Whatever it is you are looking for in a battle royal game, Fortnite has it. The building mechanics come second to none and the game-play manages to always keep you engaged whether you're behind the controller, or behind a screen watching your favorite streamer. There is no doubt in my mind that Fortnite will be remembered forever in gaming history as one of the best games to ever enter the hands of us very lucky gamers.     This game is built to be grindy, as expected from a free-to-play title, but what bothers me most is the battle pass that's implemented. It asks for $10 per season, and with it, you can earn outfits, gliders, cosmetic goodies and emotes. So, the game rewards you for playing, if you pay for this subscription. Ludicrous.

    I cannot with good conscience recommend this game, unless you enjoy the challenge of trying to be the last one (or last squad) standing. The way the Battle Pass is implemented, as well as PvE still requiring a payment, this game just feels like a repetitive, grindy, incomplete project. Cryptic storytelling of lore aside, it's a game I don't feel worth playing. Save your time and money.    … Expand

    Unfortunately, there are flaws. The one problem I have with this game is that the combat part mostly relies on luck. Fortnite introduces RNG- a random number generator, it’s basically the chances of getting an item drop. You are not shooting and hitting your target because you are good, you just roughly aim towards the area of your enemy and you might hit him, but with my luck, I never hit. Fortunately, this can be countered by building, which is why I love this game.

    Fortnite is one of the few games that is unique and fun . I would definitely give this a try if I were you.    … Expand

    -Fortnite BR is free to play. Unlike other F2P games with predatory tactics, you have access to the whole game with no gun or game mode being locked behind a paywall. There are cosmetics to buy, but no loot boxes.
    -Graphics are simplistic and colorful, which means the game runs on many more machines than PUBG, and 60 fps is far easier to achieve.
    -The biggest gameplay differentiator is the building mechanic, with which you can traverse the map, shelter yourself from enemy fire, or outflank opponents.
    -The map is small enough that there is no "dead time" in the beginning of the matches. There is little need for vehicles to quickly reach the next zone.
    -There are no technical/netcode issues on Fortnite BR, so you won't experience lags and teleports like in PUBG, and cheaters are rare.
    -Last but not least, Epic regularly add new items, guns and time-limited modes to spice things up.

    All these features make for a fun arcade game that matches or even surpasses the popularity of games such as DotA and League of Legends.

    I absolutely love playing this game and have logged an insane amount of hours into it. It is fun to play alone but even greater when playing with friends. To be able to win you have to demonstrate cohesiveness and teamwork, which are very important skills to have. This game also has insane replay-ability with the all consuming desire for a "victory royale"! Fortnite is best to experience if you have the skill to compete with other skilled players like yourself.     Frotnite is an arcade shooter that is fun to play only with friends. It get really boring if you play alone or in a group of people that you dont know. People dont help you and most of the time they leave you to die. The guns are bad because of the bloom, shotguns do 9 damage to the head and the only working component is going to be nerfed (building). I hope that Fortnite gets better with time.

Whenever I play with my friends and we spot some other players, my friends say things along the lines of "Oh he's a John Wick he's good", or, "Oh a default easy kill". That is one of the many flaws of this game. The reason this game is not as goodHonestly pay to win. Getting in fights whether it be a building fight, or just a gun fight is fun, but just running around and looting for 10 minutes is not fun, it is boring. It does knock PUBG out of the competition though, with a smaller map and better chances to run into people, but unless you drop at a named location, you won't run into somebody for at least 20 minutes, or until endgame. I started playing this game around the beginning of season 3, and fell in love when I played my first LTM, five teams of twenty. Unfortunately, it started going downhill from there. I was still hooked on this game in season three, spending hundreds of dollars, but the day season 4 came out, was when my love for Fortnite: Battle Royale died. It seemed like they were just pleasing the younger crowd, what with the garbage emotes like Orange Justice and Hype, but that was the least of my problems. Season 4 was when Fortnite, for me, peaked in popularity. I still enjoyed playing the game, but just getting onto social media accounts like Instagram, twitter, etc. and seeing Fortnite videos plastered all over the place irked me. There was that one faZe tfue clip where he built that insane 1x1 base in like one second with a jet pack. Sure, it was cool the first time I saw it, but I kept getting on the search page of Instagram, and I saw that clip at least 45 times after that, and it got really annoying. Fortnite is one of the games that I think the community, and the developing company kills it. Epic games updates Fortnite weakly, which is actually not allowed. A company cannot update a game that frequently, but since Fortnite has the 'beta' label, they can, but now they are updating too much. What, with the material, and lama changes. The stupid items like the thermal scoped assault rifle, shopping cart, and stink bomb. I honestly think i'm being generous giving Fortnite for the PS4 a 4. Maybe if I get save the world, my opinion would change, but the battle royale mode makes me want to delete the app entirely… Expand

    de maker van deze game is Epic Games. Epic Games brengt elke week updates uit voor de game Fortnite. Bij deze updates passen ze een aantal dingen aan bijvoorbeeld de map(het speelgebied),nieuwe dingen(zoals wapens en granaten)of ze maken een update waarmee een wapen sterker of slechter wordt of ze juist een wapen weg halen uit de game. Deze updates worden dus elke week uitgebracht dat is erg snel, dit zorgt ervoor dat de game vernieuwend is en leuk blijft. Deze updates worden dus snel uitgebracht maar is het niet te snel doordat het zo snel wordt gedaan ontbreken er soms veel dingen bij updates die voorkomen zouden kunnen worden door simpelweg langer over een update te doen. Ik vindt dus dat een update in een week leuk is maar niet altijd even handig.
    De prijs
    Fortnite Battle Royale is een gratis game. Je kan in de game wel skins/outfits/gliders/pickaxes/emotes/een battlepas kopen voor v-bucks. V-bucks zijn de munteenheid in Fortnite waarmee je dus dingen kan kopen. Omgerekend zijn 1000 v-bucks 10 euro deze v-bucks kan je in fortnite bij de shop kopen.De dingen die je koopt in de shop kun je gebruiken in potjes die je speelt,dit geeft je overigens geen voordeel op de andere spelers.
    Dit vindt ik een heel leuk concept want zo kun je leuke dingen krijgen in de game maar als je geen geld wil besteden aan deze game kan je ook gewoon spelen zonder dat je gelijk een nadeel hebt in de game.
    Al met al is Fortnite dus een leuke game die heel vernieuwend is en vaak vernieuwd wordt en het daardoor voor veel mensen leuk blijft om te spelen. Mijn tip is dus om deze game zeker te gaan spelen want het is ook nog eens gratis.    … Expand

For starters where PUBG goes for the realistic mil-sim approach Fortnite goes for bright and colourful graphics. Instead of a military plane, in Fortnite we jump from a party bus. the premise is still the same though,up to 100 players are dropped into a map which is constantly shrinking due to the Blue Zone/Storm, with the goal of looting weapons and gear in order to become the last person or team left standing.

    At first glance you might be forgiven for thinking that Fortnite is a kids game and that would be a huge mistake. Whilst the game is massively popular with kids there's a lot more going on than just jumping around the map trying to shoot each other. Take the building mechanics for example. Building in Fortnite can be just as crucial a skill as shooting. Out building your foe can be the difference between an early return to the lobby or that much sought after Victory. It's frustrating to learn the art of building but it can't be overstated how rewarding it is when you manage to out-build someone, knowing that your skills were just better in that encounter. Building used in this way is pretty groundbreaking and sets Fortnite aside from its competitors. Building forts and trying to get the high ground can be important but if like me, you aren't very good at it then you can for the most part get by with just using simpler structures. It's clear though that to really become good at Fortnite then building is a skill worth learning.

    The game is in third person and whilst you do have an inventory system it's very simplified when compared to something like PUBG. It works well though and suits the pace of the game. you can quickly manage your weapons and consumables and each item is easy to identify.

    Battles with other players are very different to what i'm used to on PUBG. They can be chaotic and over very quickly where as in PUBG I've had battles which last for a good 5 minutes or longer. whilst Fortnite doesn't have the tension of PUBG it certainly doesn't lack in the fun and chaotic feeling. I love the loot system in Fortnite, no matter where you drop it is possible to get yourself reasonably well kitted out and get you in on the action or keep you alive long enough to get yourself better loot. Weapons come in a variety of rarities and these rarities can turn the tide of a battle.

    The progression system in Fortnite is really good, especially if you purchase the Battle Pass and is the area that PUBG fails miserably in perhaps the most. In Fortnight you have challenges to complete and levelling up your tiers provides you with fun rewards or XP boosts. Cosmetic DLC can be purchased from the store and there's none of the frankly pathetic Loot box system found in PUBG where you buy a key and end up with a billion red T-shirts. In Fortnite you visit the store, see what you want and buy it. Prices for Skins are a bit steep but you can earn Skins just by levelling up your tiers during a season and as it's a free to play game I guess we can't really say much about it.

    I think for me though the standout area where Fortnite absolutely trounces PUBG is in the way the game runs. Fortnite is so well optimised that its totally understandable to me now why so many players are leaving PUBG behind. Don't get me wrong i will still play PUBG just as much as I always have but one can't help but admire Fortnite for how smoothly it plays.    … Expand

    i just can't get into this game. whereas h1z1 has me hooked. i think the cartoonish graphics are the reason and when playing solo all i get is 7 year old kids screaming and yelling down the mic. not for me im afraid. 2 out of 10

    My children like it but I don't. You spend half an hour walking around looking for stuff only to get shot in the head by someone you don't even see. How can this be comparable to games such as counterstrike where the rounds are fast and furious and you never have to wait a long time before you're in the action?

    Seeing as it was so popular, and is available for free if you ignore the micro-transactions, I decided to give it a try but I came away totally unimpressed. The gunplay itself is no more the average and a far cry from the best in the genre (Call of Duty, Battlefield, Titanfall etc) and in half the games I played I spent more time wandering around looking for people than actual engaging in any sort of firefight.

    It's free so you can check it out for yourself at no cost but as far as I'm concerned there are far better FPS games available.    … Expand

    Popularity. This game is bad... But it's super popular. Probably the most popular game in the world as of now. That's not a good thing. Devs will now look at this trash and try to make games that are like it. Which brings me to...

    Why the game is bad... It's a micro transaction game... No split screen... No campaign mode... It's a online only multiplayer game of random craziness that takes next to no skill that's full of random luck based elements... The whole battle royal thing is popular now which is silly since that sort of a thing has been around since about 30 years ago but whatever...

    This is not a good thing that games like this are popular. They could be so much better. Sad also that epic games has made great games like gears of war 1-3 but now this is where they are at...     Despite its junior stylings and mountain of cosmetic items, Fortnite’s combat and construction fundamentals are strong enough to sustain weeks and months of play, and as it nears final release, it’s only going to get stronger.
