    I am playing FUT for 4 years now and FUT21 is by far most scripted of them all. It literally doesn't let you win the game when you supposed to lose. In my region, almost all of the KSA players buy fifa points and simply the game does not let you beat them. This is absolutely WORST fifa ever, don't waste your money, go and buy ride to hell retribution instead of this trash.

    Neglected career mode as per usual except a couple of minor changes. Player career mode is untouched, these are two modes that have untapped potential and it's a shame to see it so neglected. Late to the review party, but seeing the 0.7 it's vastly deserving of much less than that.

The result was 2 loses for me in fut champions. Every single game is same players (Meta players) 99% of the games are: Joe gomez, varane,mendy, semedo (atal). Worth of the game ? 10$ max.     Very Bad,I do not reccomend buying this game.I have played enough of it to reject it.A lot of bugs,both gameplay-wise and graphical,little changes from the past fifas,no love for career mode,only for Ultimate Team,same toxic online players that the developers accept and do little to reduce or remove their means to be toxic.     This game is atrocious! They’ve made fifa 20 even worse. Nerfed skill moves. Magnetic deflections. Defending is unbelievably scripted. They’re not even hiding scripting anymore. Same pattern of wins to losses as every instalment. Stuck in the mud defending. They have literally changed the theme added **** that nobody cares about and put the price up. Utter ****.

    Its a copy from fifa 20. I did not buy the game, but tried it on ea access for 8 hours. I did not want to spend money so i had pretty bad team. Realised that if your players arent 90+ pace rated and use all your money on this game you gonna struggle. Not gonna buy this version for the first time. And to the players who spend money and support EA, enjoy!

    Let's start with the pros - good soundtrack. Volta is also ok.

    Now time for the cons:
    The gameplay is disgustingly awful. Nothing has weight to it, the scripting is absurd, players are flying all over the place, you need to attempt a body slam to get a foul and the skill moves are pulled straight out of shaolin soccer - this is not what football looks or feels like.
    The presentation is actually awful. I had gotten used to people telling me that PES doesn't have good presentation but I decided that I was making a trade - presentation for good gameplay. But nah, most of the players look NOTHING like their real life counterparts, a hefty amount are using VERY OLD (we're talking 2015) player models and a very small fraction are actually up to date and looking like the real deal. Menues feel laggy and the graphics have this "coated in vaseline" feel to them.

    The only game mode that has received any attention is FUT which has always been a waste of time to me. Everything else is more or less the exact same as it was back in 2018.

    EA have once again managed to hit a new low... and no one is surprised.    … Expand

Passing is so much worse than Fifa 20. If you thought that was bad the skill gap is even more non existent this year.     Essentially the same game with a few fine tuned gameplay elements, the game’s passing and players making runs behind does seemed to be a bit of an improvement. Also a nice, albeit subtle, presentation element is the inclusion of traditional songs before games that weren’t previously present: This is the One (Man United); Blue Moon (City), Liquidator (Chelsea).. theyre all there and it’s a nice touch. However, for everything good this FIFA does, at a minimum it does an equal number of things badly... Defending is considerably harder this year, which isn’t necessarily a bit thing as long as there was reasoning behind it. However, a lot of the tackling doesn’t make sense and the AI does nothing to help you in situations where it usually would.

    Presentation wise, despite what I said before, seems to be lagging at this point. The same reused animations for the last 6 years, along with commentary that’s in desperate need of innovation... also, a small point - Man United walk out of the OT tunnel on the wrong side?... like, this is very menial but Jesus Christ it’s a basic unnecessary error. You only have to watch a United game to see they walk out on the opposite side...

    As for the goalkeeping, don’t get me started. A top keeper can go from making an unbelievable close range save to watching a slow 40 yard shot just meander in without making an attempt to save, very odd.

    What’s also painfully evident at this point is the triggered animations and the general AI positioning. Everything feels pre determined and it’s completely unintuitive with being able to make decisions on the fly. Your players also don’t move in to space and hang offside a lot of the time. These floors are becoming painfully obviously in a next gen era where the likes of PES are so superior gameplay wise it’s not even funny.

    As for game modes... FUT is what it is - the cash cow that keep EA Sports relevant. Without it they’d be nothing with the quality of the game they produce. I personally don’t play it, namely because I don’t fancy investing $100’s to just get a half decent team.

    As for everything else... career mode is disappointingly stale now, despite them banging on about changes they’re pretty rudimentary and really don’t make much difference to the experience at all... Volta? Genuinely what is the point. It’s not fun, it’s not fifa street, so just can it. So what to say... you’d hope they pulled a half arsed effort out because they’re concentrating on the next gen version of the game. That’s the optimistic take, but I’m sure they’ll just keep churning out mediocrity until the end of days... so sad, this series used to be so cutting edge and enjoyable.    … Expand

    Same as every year, I’m going to enjoy FIFA 20 for years to come as it’s the same every year, can’t justify spending more than $10 on a few extra features on career mode yet alone the full price they expect us to pay each year. Absolutely a joke and can’t do it anymore..

Somehow my defender is slow when chasing back, but some with the speed of a sloth in real life can catch anyone of my players on a break away? Is it an internet thing?     I have had it for 6 weeks and have enjoyed it. First fifa in over 6 years. I tend to get one at the beginning of each new generation. Fut is new to me and quite fun. Have a fairly decent team so do ok. Only downside is the servers are a bit laggy, never sure if its me, opponent or ea. Yet to try the career mode but overall impressed.     To easy to score and to difficult to defend. The only thing that has improved are the crosses, but everything else is even worse then fifa 20. Besides that no real changes were made to the game in comparison to fifa 20.

    The FIFA series desperately needs a fresh start. Right now, it relies mainly on the Ultimate Team mode and marketing, while going around in circles. Instead of leaping into the future, FIFA 21 takes half a step forward and two steps sideways in an attempt to differentiate itself from its predecessor well enough to rationalize spending money.
