    EA and FIFA have become like marmite, you’ll either love it or hate it. Firstly the hates. Commentary is again dire, particularly Derek Rae & Lee Dixon, Martin Tyler & Alan Smith is barely passable but way better than Rae & Dixon. So media interviews are not great. Graphics are same as 19, 18, 17. Gameplay was better in 19 cos I can actually cross the ball and someone score, but in 20 no no. Not even the best crosses get anyone on the end of it. But finally it’s FIFA we love it to hate it. It’s an annual thing. We pre order knowing full well it’s gonna be a bag of crap but we still enjoy the game cos it’s football and it’s the only football game that we love. By the way, PIEMONTE CALCIO (Juventus), come on FIFA that’s a laugh and an embarrassment not to have the rights to call Juventus the real club name. Anywho. Maybe next year EA will pull their fingers out and start taking note that this game we’ve all come to adore needs a major overhaul but not sure it’s coming anytime soon. Maybe listen to the ideas and suggestions of the gamers, the ones who pay your stinking overpayed wages EA!!!… Expand

Sin embargo, desde hace un par de años se nota que EA llegó al límite de lo que puede lograr en la actual generación de hardware.     Really enjoying fifa 20 I’ve been playing Fifa since Fifa 98 so a long time lol and Fifa 20 is better then the last 5 FIFA’s this time it’s not all about pace it’s more realistic and the added volt makes this good value for money 10/10 for me ⚽️

    This fifa 20 there are new things like volta that the lack of a little dribbles, but it's ok the volta, also the fifa ultimate team is ok only missing the volta mode, that is with the team that you have in ultimate team you can with the 4 best fours of your team , and play online with someone else, the others is fine, I didn't really like the story mode of the volta, but the others is fine.

    Hahaha always makes me laugh when fanboys get on here and give a 0 score, then line up and buy it again next year! Being a career mode player I like the new tweaks, so hopefully they continue to improve this aspect of the game. Solid 8 for me.

    Great game! Volta is an amazing addition. Gameplay is great as FIFA 19 was but more realistic and harder to score. Free kicks are now much better

    I really like FIFA series. You can say that the game is in stagnation, but this isn't true. EA Games are greedy and you'll feel it when you play FUT, but they made the best football arcade in the world. Again! I usually play FIFA since September till December and every year I feel awesome emotions. Online play is perfect, FUT is still great and addictive. What do you want more?

    So when they were on the right path (The Journey was an awesome idea) they killed it and introduced Volta which is useless, repetitive, boring and pointless. Despite the huge advertising EA did, Career mode is still full with bugs and is the same since 4/5 years. If you dont give a **** about UT like I do then it's a NO GO

FIFA 20 is not a freemium game, and we all paid at least 60 US for it. If you read this comment, do not buy FIFA (at least not just yet). I am few weeks away from selling it. I played 3 times so1 point for the effort on the new (but very repetitive) Volta mode. -9 points for all the bugs and unplayable career mode, and the lack of updates/communication/transparency and apologies from EA. I am enjoying the revamped dribbling and movement system now that pace and speedOverall a pretty solid FIFA experience so far.     Before I dive into this review, I just want to make one thing clear. I'm not an FUT player and I've spent less than 20 minutes on this mode since buying the game. So this is pretty much a review of everything else. If I had written this review a month ago, I would have given this game 0 out of 10. The game was broken to say the least and many of its flagship modes were simply unplayable (just read the other 0 reviews). But EA somewhat surprised me. In the space of a month, they've managed to patch most of the problems. Yes, they should have fixed those issues BEFORE the game even came out and this is precisely why I'm only rating this as a 5/10. But compared to the incredibly low bar that the publisher has set for this franchise in recent years (where many bugs were only amended in the subsequent year's release), FIFA20 was at least heading in the right direction. For those who claim that this is merely a re-skin of FIFA19, I would politely disagree. The gameplay felt different (better, in my humble opinion), and new features/game-modes were introduced in this year's edition. Does this instantly make FIFA20 a good game - clearly not. But at least they are making progress in areas which I consider to be important. All in all, I don't think this game is worth its initial asking price. But if you see it floating around at significantly discounted prices, and you're an avid PES game fan like me, I would suggest you give it a go. Personally speaking, I still think PES has better gameplay mechanics. But one thing that I could never deny, no matter how hard I try, is the better immersion you get from the FIFA franchise. From the Sky Sports-esque coverage of the Premier League games to the deeper coverage of lower-tier leagues, playing the now-patched career mode will no doubt let you experience what it's like to be a football manager. At the time of writing this review, there is still a whole host of issues that await EA's fixing. But with the responses that they have given since the game's release, I am strangely optimistic that they will continue to fix the bugs uncovered by the FIFA community.… Expand

    every thing in the game is fine but unfortunately the Arabic commentary still the same for the third year , you have to change it to another commentary and not any one you have to search for an exiting commentary like (hafeez el daragy - essam el shawaly -roud kheleef ) or there is another idea you can make two Arabic commentary and the consumer can choose between them .

I'm not sure how all the things wrong with it weren't addressed in testing but regardless, they're working on it. Gameplay wise, the only thing wrong right now is switching player, which - even when using the right analog stick - seems to not change to who you are trying to select. They changed defending so that you can't just rely on your AI players to tackle for you, YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO DEFEND YOURSELF NOW, which I love because I've always been a big fan of defending manually. Because the scrubs can't defend manually, they abuse the 'Drop Back' custom tactic, which allows me, a possession based player, to have so much room around the edge of their box, play my way through and score. I haven't lost a single game on Online Seasons yet because the game is rewarding positive play instead of just having pacey players and spamming through ball, and I LOVE IT.… Expand

    Even though many people think in a negative way about the game because it was just like the last one and the new Volta street football has a poor story, I think that the new features like how to take penalties and free kicks, new jerseys and face scans, and just adding a new way of playing football (Volta) is already enough to be impressive.

    It plays arcadey on the lower to mid difficulties which is fine as I don’t buy games to mimic the incredibly boring nature of low scoring real football games; I want fun and laughs not a 1 - 0 grind fest.     I can truly say after growing up playing Fifa since around Fifa 06, Fifa 20 has been by far the worst Fifa of them all. From having very limited ways of scoring, clear scripting, to the same Career mode after 15 years! To think we're in 2020 and career mode is exactly the same, I honestly find that insulting.     I think the grades is unfair with this game. I mean, I'm not a player who had experiences with all the past versions so I'm not comparing with those. But for me, that i finally bought this with my first console, for replacing the lack of football because of the pandemic this result a great option.

    Absolutely useless online play with very poor mechanics. FIFA needs to go back to basics in a big way, they need to allow fair games and smooth gameplay for people and not be focussed purely on making money through Ultimate Team. But this won't happen.

    It's just a money grab. All development has been done on ultimate team and Volta. All areas EA can earn money. There has been hardly anything done to the career mode. Avoid.

    I know many people hate on this game but I had to redo my review, honestly I love the fifa series, it may not be perfect and what not but its not a zero score game, the game is very attractive and its easy to learn plus all those awesome teams.

    It's amazing that everytime a new patch is released the game just becomes worst, even more broken.
    Not just career mode, but ultimate team gameplay is literally broken, one game your players feel like you're playing with 11 Messis and the next one they can't even make a good pass, completely awful.

    Maybe 2 or 3 (low impact) updates to career mode. Nothing really changed. Why do good teams suck? Why can't I create my own league? Why can't I create my own kit? Why can't I create my own stadium? Why can't EA make any meaningful update to career mode?

    Game is better than 18 and 19, but cant give it a score above 0 because lag and scripting (momentum) makes the game infuriating. And its a zero because EA can fix those things in a single day.     Started good with EA Access, very quickly became very bad. Huge lack of consistency in gameplay, some games with speed up lag and others lagging so badly, with some good games mixed in. Recent update made it unplayable for me, going from a decent record to losing 10 in a row and not able to string two passes together or make a simple interception. Put me off the fifa series for good, I’llStarted good with EA Access, very quickly became very bad.     Seriously?? when the **** are we going to get the possibility to even train acceleration, stamina training is only on a easy training task making it really slow now to train and potentials are irrelevant basically, if your player is under 20 years old, 60 ish rated and has over 80+ potential you can easily get him to 99 by age 25 with just 1 training session a week. Im not crazy, i know for a fact its scripted into the game, ive played fifa religiously for decades, at least since fifa 12 this has been a thing, for this month you have to save before the month and reload at least 10 times+ every time and using sliders to remove injuries has absolutely no effect on this. so i would recommend setting up younth academies on the secound day, third day and fourth day of every month so you can save after every time, and reloading if you get a bunch of crap, With doing this you will have a full 94 potential team on average after 3 seasons if you make a rule that you cannot accept a player if he is under 82-94 potential to start with, also i have found out that if a player has 84-94 that is a 100% chance that he will have 94 or 95 potential,

    BUG FIXES, few but here are some:
    The fixed the ****ing player breaking bug that makes every shot be really weak like the player has 1 shot power and is chipping the shot simultaniously. this was really annoying and there was litterally no way to fix it, even training to 99shot power made no difference, completely ruined lots of players who would have been better than any player in football history. no thanks for fixing it though since i have seen this bug from at least fifa 14 at the earliest.

    BUG additions, do i really need to even mention one? i mean some of the bugs like the infinite training bug/infinite squad updates if done from the last to the first day of any month was kinda fixed although not really, the didnt fix it, if your playstation lags or have been on for a very long time the bug can still be done and it suggests it wasnt fixed at all, only fixed itself by chance of changing game mechanics.

    AI. oh the AI...
    The AI is completely robotic, what do i mean? it cheats, i checked, its not actually smart, its just cheating by adding way more stamina to players than would kill you in real life even if you were the most fit person ever, but all opposition players to 50 in every stat, in ultimate difficulty you can clearly see that the players are way better than that if you tried passing with that rating, your player would miss almost every pass, on ultimate no matter the stat, the computer is always 99 everything, even pace which is more clear to see that its cheating, because you can clearly see that your 99 pace winger will be catched up to by their 50 pace fullbacks on umtimate, and you can actually see the gradual pace increase when changing from one difficulty to another.

    the most obvious of all cheating evidence: When pressing a button there will be imput lag, FIFA is infamous for this, even in offline, its almost as bad as ultimate team, you shoot and it takes minimum 1 secound, sometimes it takes so long the game forgets you presses the shoot button and doesent shoot resulting in you walking the ball into the goalkeepers hands, also i swear on ultimate difficulty the input lag has been increased to take a longer time, giving the computer more time to read your input and know where your going, with player to player, the opposition is making a informed guess, but on computer, because of the imput lag which i believe is deliberate to make the ai more op, thus removing alot of time and money needed to program an actual good AI, the longer it takes for the imput.

    Sidenote: EA, please i beg you, just at least let us train every skill, composure is by far the most OP stat, try a 99 rated all 99 stat CM with 43 composure and then try him with 99 composure , after 99 composure he will score 5 goals every game, before it will be maybe 2 max if your me on professional. Also why is legendary easier than world class?? Lol, seriously it is, ****ed AI, anyway **** you EA, i hope you go under and some new company can create a game with love. i bet the total budget for Fifa is under 5000 dollars for all game development, i bet more is used on advertisements than actual game mechanics.    … Expand

    FIFA 20 is a solid football sim, its the first soccer game I've played in several years and I can tell you the gameplay has come a long, long way. It still has its problems with AI and over/under responsive controls and the grind that FUT.
    Volta feels like an after-thought, a year after release its still pretty rough around the edges and the laziness smacks you in the face when a clone of    FIFA 20 is a solid football sim, its the first soccer game I've played in several years and I can tell you the gameplay has come a long, long way. It still has its problems with AI and over/under responsive controls and the grind that FUT.
    Volta feels like an after-thought, a year after release its still pretty rough around the edges and the laziness smacks you in the face when a clone of one of your team mates turns up on the other team, and then there are 10ft tall goal keepers in the later stages of the story (WTF?!). The narrative of the story super-cheesy. Trending, Seflies and Followers get shoved down your throat like you're a 15 year old social media junkie and that dates it a very negative way. I enjoyed it for a few hours but now the story is done I don't think I'll play it again.
    I'm not a trophy seeker, but its disappointing that so many are reliant on playing online.
    On a whole though, the game is pretty good, I'll keep it as my go-to soccer video game for when I get the urge to relive my youth    … Expand

Hopefully this is the year everyone finally realizes EA is reusing the same mechanics (same game really) over and over. This game is pretty much identical to Fifa 19 which was in my opinion the worst Fifa ever made. They don't need to make a new game, why would they? People areI'm very glad I didn't buy this. Yes, but maybe once in a year, not 6 times a game. As soon as people understand winning the games are not related to your skills but to your cards, they start spending money.

    1 meter passes go to wrong directions,we cant score to empty nets etc... because of this thing. Also FUT became a 4-5 months playable mode,you are fading its fun by releasing 90+ rated colorful cards to all players.     FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
