    Comparing it to last year, nothing changed

    Workers are probably overworking or unpaid

    Reviewers are still bribed

    They still promise new cool features which get boring 2 days in and if you want to be good at guy you need money

    And even with that money the game glitches so much that you still lose, it's like gambling but with no benefit and just an easy cashgrab to scam kids

    last enjoyable fifa (for me) was 17. this game is broken as hell. why?
    -scripts, if game wants you to lose match, you will lose (rebounds, your players have 0 agility, 0 sprint speed etc)
    -handicap (just like above) -lags, potato servers and delay, if you are not living near servers (for instance, berlin) you can wonder about consistent gameplay -kickoff glitch, after scoring goal    last enjoyable fifa (for me) was 17. this game is broken as hell. why?
    -scripts, if game wants you to lose match, you will lose (rebounds, your players have 0 agility, 0 sprint speed etc)

    -kickoff glitch, after scoring goal there's 80% chance that you will concede goal in about 10 seconds
    -stupid new cards releases, why every new special card has 99 pace, at least 90 shooting, dribbling and of course 5* skills and weakfoot?

    i cant believe these problems are unsolvable and even more i dont know why they dont want to fix this.

    I'm only giving a 1 because of the few and weak additions EA attempted to add into career mode or else I'd give a 0. The game is still a buggy repetitive mess and for $60.00 is simply an insult to the average consumer looking for a decent career mode experience. So many gameplay bugs, the insane ultimate difficulty, the simple lack of improvements to career mode... this title is just aI'm only giving a 1 because of the few and weak additions EA attempted to add into career mode or else I'd give a 0. Always by 4-5 or 5-2 after winning at the 70 minute 2 or 3-0. What's the point in playing something like this. It's pay to win but packs are terrible and making money is impossible because you CAN'TThis game is just broken.     Every year except 19 i bought this game with hopes of them fixing pro club(my main mode). So when they said fixes came for the game i bought but they lies. Terrible AI, bug, server issues, etc. They only want your money for ultimate club.

    Played FIFA for over a decade This was a joke I want a refund. Servers don't work 1/2 of games end in a glitch that screws me or my opponent over. The gameplay sucks and is extremely boring, pay to win, just an absolute mess. Just offer a refund.

One the scripting is horrible, for I’ll go up 2-0 in the first half just for my center backs to pass the ball right to the opposing players even tho I aimed the CLEARANCE up the field and the other guy scores. And in defense, it doesn't matter that you have a van Dijk or another top card in the lineup, it can also fly past/stumble, and the opponent will have exactly the same impassable wall for the entire game. Terrible selection of opponents, no balance. Most of the top players just go down to the lower divisions and it becomes impossible for ordinary amateurs and pro players to play there. Because of all this, my successes are as follows: FUT 18-5 division, FUT 19-4 division, FUT 20-8 division! How's that possible? And if you come across an opponent with a significant number of icons, the players just fly by, and if you can make a selection, the ball as if to a magnet returns back to the icon of the opponent. Great, right?
    And, another important fact. In squad battle, at difficulty levels from professional to higher, the opponent's players run as if indicating "team pressure" or "numerical advantage on the ball", but the opponent's players do not waste their stamina. Where is the justice???
    My verdict is that this game is make me to suicide. I've already had a stroke because of my feelings about this game. This is the first time I go back to the previous version of FIFA, because the gameplay there is BETTER than the new one (Fifa 20), there is no frequent delay in response to the action, and most importantly fun to play. In the past FIFA, you can really be sure that if you lost, you lost exactly because of the skill, and not the script/connect/greedy developers. If this were possible, I would return all the money spent on FIFA 20 and never return to it again. Play FIFA 19. I play in FIFA 19 and save my nerves and health. Unfortunately, EA does not compensate me for my loss of health...    … Expand

    The game is **** trash. Defenders with 56 pace catch up with 96 pace wings. Servers are trash and you can basically know when the script kicks in. I hope all of you guys stop buying the game and wait until FIFA do what needs to be done and make a decent game. This game is really bad for your mental health.

    Es increíble que hasta el día de hoy haya bugs en el modo carrera, no es aceptable eso. La conexión es malisima y no te permite jugar. Es un FIFA 19.5, lo único salvable es el modo Volta, pero a día de hoy ese modo ya esta muerto, sin actualizaciones y con una historia corta

But when you go to online, balance is going to be idiotic: you can't play with players even with your team, it's always stronger or weaker than you, and then the mighty handicap is decide which team is going to win.     We have been asking for changes and updates for YEARS to this mode and it's barely changed since FIFA 14.. All EA cares about is Ultimate Team because that's where the money is.

    A slower pace that to me is good. Nevertheless handicap is still there and to be honest, it always will be. Pay to win is stronger/clearer than ever. So in conclusion, same Fifa we get used to.

    It is still the same game as 10 years ago, the only differences are better graphics and a high price.

    Scripting!! Again! I’m basically playing FIFA 19 with more scripting than ever before. Don’t care about Volta or any of those stupid money making scams like UT. Still at least I’m limited to just wasting money on the game not like the poor souls that spend hundreds on packs.

    It's literally the same game re-released every year. If you've played one FIFA game you've played them all! They are basically charging 60$ for updates, not to mention the pay-to-win microtransactions and lootboxes that ruin any kind of skill, effort based progression. The core concept of the game is promising, but the execution couldn't have been worse!

    Mesmo jogo horrível de sempre, caça níquel, era meu jogo favorito mas hoje tenho nojo da franquia e da desenvolvedora. Não se iludem, é o mesmo jogo, é um FIFA 19 mascaraso de FIFA 20. Não vale o investimento, se quiserem jogar um jogo de futebol aceitável, coerente e justo, j joguem PES.

    Slower than version 19. For me, gameplay is better but still too arcade.
    Volta (street football) is horrible boring.
    As always many activities in FUT make this game not so bad despite not very interesting gameplay and scripting moments.

    I played the game on EA Access and I can tell you that the core game play has near zero difference from FIFA 19. I could not notice any difference in gameplay except in free kicks. Literally, everything else on the pitch is same as FIFA 19 including Graphics, sounds, and gameplay.

    Disgustingly slow. Perfect for normies who want to just cross the ball and shoot outside the box and pray for a lucky goal. EA made sure they get it. If your gameplay style is creating nice 1vs1 chances inside the box you're doomed. You are forced to play meta and meta is boring.

    It is a really fun sport game. But super super overated!!!! Actually the only really new it is Volta. Unrealistic gameplay, please give a chance to pes 2020, believe me you will see that fifa it is Just a good fun game. But nothing more, too arcade. And because of marketing every year you buy it.

    Momentum still exists...server is so bad that I cannot play online division 1on1. And intercepting is sooooop powerful. Playing game with short passes impossible. 10 back defense is only 1 way to win. Fifa 20 is the worst soccer game in 2019. If you read this comment, I suggest you should buy pes2020

    3) Aguero playing 2 out of 38 games.
    4) A 23 year old (promising in real life) player losing 3 overall points in a single season.
    5) If you edit a player, they will lose around 10 overall points and permanently move them to a different position.
    6) Big teams will always field a weak team for a big game. Example, Barcelona will not play any of their starting XI in the Champions League final.

    EA will no doubt fix these but the fact they were allowed to happen AFTER RELEASE is completely disgusting. It is common now to buy a game for it to be 60% complete and we, the consumer are supposed to be content with that. VOTE WITH YOUR WALLETS.

    EA do not care about anything other than making money which is why Ultimate Team works perfectly but the rest of the game, especially career mode is broken.    … Expand

    The critics are either mentally challenged or paid off by EA if they have such a high score to such a crappy game. And this is not subjective, something can be bad all-around. Like another user said, graphically yes, improved, but game-play wise, the same crappy scripts and game-play.

    Pathetic monopoly on football games makes EA the worst developer. And no, PES is not a real challenger yet.

    Similar gameplay from past Fifas with two major diferencies: manual defending and removal of overpowered skill moves.
    New Volta mode is refreshing but lacks the fun gameplay from Fifa Street.
    Ultimate Team with improvements and new modes.
    The rest of the modes don't have any significant improvement which is a shame.

    FIFA 20 is by far the best FIFA game in years, because of the so much changes EA have done to this game and returning of FIFA Street finally. Again, like prevoius games, it has microtransactions and loot boxes which is a big negative about the game. Don't listen to kids who gives this 0, because it is a huge improved game from the series.

    Progress against Fifa 18, like new passes, graphic, atmosphere, ball physics. And online games rocks!. I tried PES demo, but Fifa is better (as a whole) and more fun in my eyes, even PES has really good gameplay. And Volta is successful new mode, game changer for new players I think.

    This is the best fifa game I have ever played. I know that people complain about the career mode but I don’t play that. Game wise it is the best game ever. And I love all the new parts of the game

    The game is okay. You might even like it if you're an Ultimate Team player or the new Futsal mode is your kind of thing. Personally, I'm just glad I didn't spend my own money on this game, and lent it from a friend who didn't enjoy it instead. The FIFA franchise has become very stale, and I personally don't enjoy the changes they've made to it's gameplay over the past couple of years, but at least every new release in the series is largely predictable in it's content and presentation. It's basically FIFA 19.1 with a VOLTA DLC, minus Juventus' official licenses. I rate it a 5 for it's mediocrity and lack of substantial improvements. +1 point for adding a new game mode that's basically a poor man's FIFA Street.    … Expand

I have been playing PES the last 2 year and to be completely honest they are not in the same tier.     El último FIFA que compre fue el FIFA 10... pero siempre queria orvar el modo FUT este pero NO a 70€.... asi que como en marzo u así bajo a 18€... pues voy ha darle una oportunidad y la verdad es que está divertido el modo. Es un sacacuartos si vas a sobres, comoa que jamas recomendaré, pero si juegas ganas o pierdes vas avanzando y vas teniendo un buen equipo.     my opinion on the game is positive, however I haven't played FIFA since the 2018 version, and that in recent years I played PES, and just play offline mode, changing the sliders based on community opinion: Operation Sports Forums > Soccer > EA Sports FIFA > EA Sports FIFA Sliders FIFA 20 OS Community Sliders. Compared to PES 2020, fifa 20 offline + sliders is MUCH BETTER. But I understandmy opinion on the game is positive, however I haven't played FIFA since the 2018 version, and that in recent years I played PES, and just play offline mode, changing the sliders based on community opinion: Operation Sports Forums > Soccer > EA Sports FIFA > EA Sports FIFA Sliders FIFA 20 OS Community Sliders.     FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
