Slow.. crossing seems to be off, I find you shoot near post and it will go in pretty much every time, heading is awful. Defending is very hard not impossible but for most people it seems impossible.     gross incompetence on the part of EA. Previous editions failed to add anything to Career mode aside from Frostbite's pretty but stale graphics/negotiations but this is unreal. The gameplay is terribly slow and the CPU logic is lobotomized. Add all the glaring errors to the growth system, freezing CL errors, and non-sensical interactions with press/players and this gets a ZERO. If EAgross incompetence on the part of EA.     Absolutely robbed by EA. Claiming it all had been fixed this year but no. Career mode is just unplayable. I don’t need to go in to any detail of the bugs, we are all aware and all feel the same. Robbed! £50 it cost us some paid more. Disgusting. They have ignored us & not even told us when it will be fixed.     Lying information in pitchnotes. Career mode is total garbage with XY bugs. Its beyond me how FIFA19 CM is less buggy than this crap. Career mode hasnt been updated for some years. Dont buy this crap when you are playing CM mostly.

    Broken game! Where do I start, League tables extremely unrealistic. Norwich or Newcastle or West Ham winning the league with the top 6 battling relegation. Big teams don't play their starting lineup. E.g. Man City don't start any of their 85+ players and start all 70 and below players. When you edit a player their overall decreases and position changes.     Passing is awful, the players have gone from feeling like they're stuck in mud in fifa 19 to feeling like they're on ice skates. Your teams AI feels like it has no idea how football works which is a stark contrast to the opposition AI which predicts so many passes its actually unbelievable. So dissapointed.

    I have been a Fifa player for god knows how many years without any major changes to career mode,( I'm a offline player) and they just keep on annoying career mode players only focusing on Ultimate team,cash cow for EA. They brought Volta in but really whose gonna play that for long..practically no one.     There are some gameplay tweaks but every mode feels the same for the last 4 years except for some minor tweaks. and so far this year career mode has game breaking bugs. they only seem to put in effort into micro-transaction modes. I just have about given up on EA.

    Career Mode is unplayable. They know that CM is broken and these guys know what is wrong, but they never intended for a fix. Why? Because they want you to move to FUT! Not even an apology. All they do is closing forums who address the problems. Ever heard of the Barbra Streisand effect? But they do care for new Fortnite    I'm a life long FIFA player but i'm done with the game.

They’ve managed to make the game ten times worse by adding new a few new features. How that is even possible is beyond me but they found a way. Customising the manager was long overdue, player conversations are just like the press conferences: boring and meaningless because they don’t really have any rewards or consequences to them, player potential is messed up, etc. They’ve spent an afternoon adding in a few things that they thought would placate us and it shows. They had a whole year and they could have done so much more as usual. Looking back at past FIFA titles you can see how they’ve actually stripped away features we liked and that the vast majority of fans would love to have back. Hiring staff, improving the stadium, setting price points, etc.
    After the train wreck of FIFA 19 this was the final chance to win fans back but they’ve proved yet again that they will try to get away with doing nothing but the bare minimum and deliver a broken mess of a game in the hopes that people will buy it anyway.

    EA has the beat marketing team in the industry which is capable of REMARKETING the same Single Player product Year in Year out since 2015, the only insane marketing team in the industry previous to this franchise was ofcourse The ubisoft team which was in charge of marketing the Assassins    I would have pusted this review in ALL CAPS but I cant even post in all CAPS.     EA has the beat marketing team in the industry which is capable of REMARKETING the same Single Player product Year in Year out since 2015, the only insane marketing team in the industry previous to this franchise was ofcourse The ubisoft team which was in charge of marketing the Assassins Creed. TEven they could no longer market the game year in and out and the company was kind enough to go on a Break. The result was Odyssey. Maybe EA should take a cue from them since the MICRO TRANSACTIONS from this year can generate enough money for them to take a break and deliver a good football game for their now grownup fans who have spent an eternity with this series.
    Career Mode is horrendous and beyond repair unless new and realistic additions are made, not just new clothes but some intrinsic value has to be added.
    Not worth wasting my money and time on this game and series anymore. SADLY, fir the first time I have started to think about shifting to PES. What a sad day indeed when a game can disappoint so much after a gamer put so much money and hopes in a game and the developer just stright out ignores everything and is just interested in money and Micro Transactions which will help him pay the marketing team again for the next year.    … Expand

    Created an account just to show my disappointment in EA. I didn't expect much but stil got let down by EA. The amount of gamebreaking bugs and glitches in career mode are un-excusable, as is the communication and the (lack of) fixes.
    The gameplay is better than ever, but it is sad they lied about and neglected career mode.

The goalkeepers are broken and so is the AIm if you don't call for the ball the AI decides to just give it away 90% of the time.     Every year the same thing.. I remember when I change for Pes to Fifa because of the celebrations and the fans in the stadium this was a long time ago.. Know only thing they want it pay to win ' ultimate team' this kind of games are getting worst every single year.. Pls just make a offline fifa for Carrer mode I'm sure still make a lot of money on that

    Due to the major gameplay gliches, including literally tranparent players, and all the problems with career mode (top teams finishing bottom, press conferenses etc.) the game is literally unplayable. I want a refund.

The ignored a rule changed which allows kickoffs to be inside the 20 yard box... some how they are still license by fifa. No chance of a 0-0 game at all defending is all over shop attacking is all over shop. 50/50s always won by player on ball. Keepers don't no what to do in one on ones. Overall fifa has gone back 5 years but they don't care and won't change as they still making loads of money of streamers and kids who's daddy's don't mind paying for there teams. Once again on ea it's a matter of how deep are your pockets not how good you are shocking wouldn't want to be named as a part of the production team as that would be embarrassing re make the game and bring out when it's actually finished absolutely embarrassing aswell realise… Expand

    FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
