    Every year is the same game with another number on the case. It's a joke for the gamers and seems to be EA doesn't cares about its product, just earning money from the famous licenses. Too poor.

    I don't understand why Fifa always delivers the new games with a lot of bugs and problems, this is the last year I buy Fifa on launch dates because they always fix the games like in October or November, so next time I will wait till November to play the fixed game and also I will save money because they always have a discount on November

    The on-pitch gameplay this year is far improved and I really like it but all that fine work is irrelevant because the career mode is a broken mess. It's absolutely unplayable and for £75 it's an insult. It's now 5 days after release and I still don't have up to date squads. That's the least of my worries though because literally everything is broken.     No vale la pena la compra, es como el 2019 con una mínima actualización de plantilla y gráficos. Nuevamente con muchos bugs, la IA deja mucho que desear y como no podía faltar siguen las micro transacciones.

    I don't know how these reviewing companies are giving it such a high rating, it's hardly changed from the last one especially this "revamped" career mode, it's STILL full of bugs, the Volta mode is just a copy and paste of fifa street 2012

    I'd rather pay somebody to stab me with a potato masher until it penetrated me, than spend £60 a year on EA trying to force me to play the only game mode that generates them a steady flow of cash from micro transactions. #FixCareeMode

    You'd expect with the constant controversy surrounding EA that they would get better moving forward, the opposite is true. Ignore the high rated reviews claiming that its PES fanboys rating this 0, they're delusional, both games are trash. The list of bugs with this game is endless and I just can't see them fixing it all, this game is    Over 25 years of FIFA and this is where we are.

    You'd expect with the constant controversy surrounding EA that they would get better moving forward, the opposite is true. Ignore the high rated reviews claiming that its PES fanboys rating this 0, they're delusional, both games are trash.

    The list of bugs with this game is endless and I just can't see them fixing it all, this game is so broken.

    They promised before release that issues(mainly career mode) would be fixed this year(which is still on their website), yet here we are with it being worse than ever, surely that's got to be false advertising, some people say "I don't know why you're surprised" but here's the thing, the've not made such promises before a release like that. For FIFA 19 we all knew the career mode would remain almost untouched, that wasn't the case in the build up for this release.

    A transfer update was added on release day but was removed a short time later with no explanation, they claim to be operating with some transparency but you have to go out of your way to find an account of an EA employee on Twitter for any kind of vague update, their website and official social media accounts say nothing other than Ultimate Team related bs.

    Another sign of how they operate, they want people to be pushed towards ultimate team, this seemed to be why you couldn't play house rules against friends online with FIFA 19, now we have the same issue with Volta, no option to play online with friends.

    The new penalty system makes no sense, it shouldn't be easier to save a penalty than it is to score and the new system is completely useless when it comes to playing local matches, there's no way you can accurately take them without the stupid target because of how sensitive it is but then your opponent will see where your shooting. They've had 25 years to come up with a good system but we are presented with this mess.

    The AI is shambolic, that's where there is no surprise, Legendary difficulty will randomly seem to disable their defenders and let you stroll through, switch it up to Ultimate and you can see a goal coming a mile off because they will start playing ping pong football with incredibly accurate one touch passing all the way from the back while your players out of you control appear to close their eyes and run away from the ball.

    They're just terrible at making games, it's a crime that the likes of Red Dead and The Witcher cost the same amount as this trash, a game in development for many years vs one that seems to have been thrown together very quickly without testing.    … Expand

    Overall a pretty solid FIFA experience so far. More players with their real-life faces scanned in, more official sponsorships in England and Germany - and great presentations for the UEFA competitions. Career Mode has been spiced up with some more in-depth squad management opportunities and FUT is FUT. I am enjoying the revamped dribbling and movement system now that pace and speedOverall a pretty solid FIFA experience so far. Instead, I returned the game. I never got into Ultimate Team ($$$) in the previous titles and the new game doesn't have the cherished story mode. An example: I won the first 10 games with high scores and then the next 10 almost all lost while playing better. Especially if you have English teams as an opponent you have no chance, especially defensive. It is not worth your money and especially your own peace and nerves. It is so transparent and scripted that I think it is a shame that football is translated into a game by these makers. Again this comes from someone who has won Division 1 titles in recent years and is used to playing almost daily. I think I'll have to change my habit because this is really a change.… Expand

The game only want you to play with high rated players, if not, your players are like ghosts, they NEVER catch the ball, and all you have to do is see how the rich kid plays with maradona and doesnt have a clue on how to aproach the goal other than running wide open and cross the ball. They think theyre pro.

    Don't buy it, PES 20 is way better and you can download all the kits and licenses for it online for ps4.

    Shambles. Pay a fortune and career mode is just last seasons squads, and last seasons European Competitions. Bugs in career mode remain that have been issues for at least three years now, and are actually getting worse. Completely unplayable. Dont bother wasting your time unless you enjoy spending a fortune on lootboxes, as the game is pointless otherwise.

However, this is also the most bug filled, broken FIFA I have ever seen. The Career Mode is in a state of absolute turmoil and is unplayable to 99% of players. It’s unacceptable that a £50 game can release in this state, especially released from a developer in EAThe only reason this game deserves a 1 is due to the surprising gameplay, which is far superior to the last instalment of FIFA. The worst FIFA I've played in a while..used to be a fan of pes until pes 17 then moved to FIFA from 17-19 but I'll definitely move back to pes...the gameplay is too broken and scripted...I could see positive improvements in one time shots when the players don't even position themselves or generate enough power to score but they still score...which has reduced in FIFA 20 but the overall gameplay till has a lot of unrealism in it..even with their focus on defending.. you'll still tackle and the ball falls to your opponent or your goalkeeper makes a save only for the ball to bounce back to your opponent… Expand

    Volta mode is worthy of attention, a relatively dynamic game, character customization. Otherwise, the impression of the game is no more than the FIFA 19 update.

It has all the same issues that have been in the game for the last 3 years, plus a whole list of new ones such as Manchester City consistently getting relegated, Barcelona just deciding they don't need to actually play Messi, and all sorts of other mess with the player editor especially.     Awfully bugged and clear lack of testing has led to the worst fifa to date. All mainstream articles giving this a good score are obviously too scared to criticise the franchise or simply have not played the game. EA have well and truly messed up here.

    Gameplay is quite good but the game is ridden with multiple game breaking bugs.
    Career mode is so broken. Best teams don't play their starting XI among other game breaking bugs. Refunded it the next hour I got it. Stay clear of this!

    Same game but with Micky Hazard of Spurs fame son on the cover.A beater of ball boys is not the image a game deserves,however that image is a trillion times better than career mode that is more buggy than the c64 game buggy boy.

    It's really sad to see that professional websites are giving high scores to this game. They do not play online mode or EA is simply buying them. This is basically the same game as the previous two ones. EA spent efforts to bring VOLTA but no one cares about it. They wont make a new guy because they're making rivers of money.     They could have copy pasted the career mode, but nooooo. They Said they fixed the issues(that were more annoying Than total game changing), but instead Of doing that they took a big cr*p on Every career mode players heart. So much is wrong. Line-ups, schedules, competions dissapearing etc

    Pathetic attempt by EA. Released a broken game yet again. Career mode has several game breaking bugs, a few of which EA had previously claimed to have fixed prior to release. EA continues to release games in unplayable states - the likes of Anthem, Battlefront 2 and FIFA 20 show they just don't care about the consumer. Don't waste your money here.

    EA provides an unfinished game based on lies and false advertisement. It’s the last time I make the mistakes of pre-ordering it. It’s time of thinking if it’s worth it giving a company that thinks so little of its costumers money. I think it’s not. FIFA 20 is a nightmare.

    FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
