    As some what if a fifa fan I’ve had every title since 2002 this is by far the worst FIFA ever! It needs too much work to fix we’re talking no mans sky sort of turn around. I don’t even know where to start the game play is no more evolved, this team morale is awful just post positive responses. The gameplay is broken and it’s clear they don’t care about career mode.     this is the worst fifa i ever played. i bought this game just for career mode and it is not playable at all. no update can fix this, the base game is just really bad. imagine finishing the first half of the season in career mode and you see Manchester utd in first place and everton 2'd city 9th arsenal 16th LOL.

    I created a Metacritic account just for this game. I’ve never in my entire life played a game half as broken as this one. defending in it is pure **** to the point where no match passes by without at least 8 goals being scored. Its beyond ridiculous how many goals are scored in each match, and how polarized each match’s result is.

    Por mais um ano a EA entrega um Fifa repleto de problemas: Modo carreira repleto de bugs; amistosos online com amigos com erros de tela azul e fechamento do jogo; IA dos goleiros inexistente, completamente estúpidos. Enquanto os esforços do time da EA forem voltados ao Ultimate Team, o jogo sempre virá ridículo.

    It's just a money grab. All development has been done on ultimate team and Volta. All areas EA can earn money. There has been hardly anything done to the career mode. Avoid.

Incrível como eles lançam ano após ano o mesmo jogo e ainda vem com vários bug´s e erros de programação, jogo não está polido, se fosse uma empresa séria, isso seria uma versão alpha ou beta e não o jogo final. O jogo continua manipulando demais e esse fifa novamente da muita enfase a velocidade dos jogadores... Não tem mais graça esse jogo, melhor jogar PES todo robótico que pelo menos nos rouba menos!

The amount of deflection and rebound goals this year is insane. Heading the ball is useless. The referee logic is worse than ever before. I’ve never believed in game scripting until this fifa - the game letting someone you’re clearly better than hang around so they have a chance to win it - and they often do via a rebound in the 90th minute. Not to mention the lack of improvement to career mode and pro clubs for example. Awful experience all round… Expand

    probably the most glitchy game of FIFA i have ever played.....lazy upgrade on last year with all the effort on a cheap boring FIFA street. New penalty and free kicks are truly awful....it wasn't great before and needed changing but wtf is this crap they have changed it too....do they not test these things?     Ce qui me choque le plus, c'est les gardiens, ils arrivent à arrêter les tirs les plus improbables à arrêter mais quand c'est un pauvre tir pourri ah bah ça il l'arrête pas ! En 1 contre 1 face au gardiens, dans la majorité des cas le buteur marque, c'est logique mais là Nan, le gardien l'arrête presque à chaque fois

    As always all they care about is Ultimate Team and care less about the offline aspect.

    I've seen so many ridiculous things on 5 career modes I have played, one of the most ridiculous was Man City getting relegated in the first season....meh

    Stay clear of this game.

    Also it makes me chuckle to see the critics giving this over 80 to 90+ scores on there reviews it looks like the fat cats at EA sports are keeping these guys happy with there bribes and bungs.    … Expand

    every thing in the game is fine but unfortunately the Arabic commentary still the same for the third year , you have to change it to another commentary and not any one you have to search for an exiting commentary like (hafeez el daragy - essam el shawaly -roud kheleef ) or there is another idea you can make two Arabic commentary and the consumer can choose between them .

    Momentum still exists...server is so bad that I cannot play online division 1on1. And intercepting is sooooop powerful. Playing game with short passes impossible. 10 back defense is only 1 way to win. Fifa 20 is the worst soccer game in 2019. If you read this comment, I suggest you should buy pes2020

    Career mode is why I play fifa, I still prefer to play fifa 19 instead of 20..career mode doesn't even show the nationality of the players unless you go on the window where it shows all the information of each player, it's really hard to score as you approach the goalie he just steps in the goalie line and somehow the goalie manages to save the shot everytime...etc... So disappointed.

    Career mode has had one single appreciable upgrade from the last...I don’t know 7-8 years, dynamic player potential which is not working correctly.
    Otherwise the entire game is similar to fifa 19 only difference being the 5000 glitches in the game.
    Absolutely disappointed.

    As someone who’s religiously played FIFA’s for about 10 years, this is the first fifa where I just have no motivation to play it. Particularly FUT. The gameplay is so drab, the content is inexistent. EA never learn from previous titles. It’s borderline unplayable. Very little has been changed since the last fifa but somehow it is worse. 50/50 balls will defy the laws of physics, as do goalkeeper movements and passes that you perfectly aim at a teammate five yards away. Aside from the gameplay, the menus are now uncomfortably bad to navigate through. The content is boring, overpriced, or predictable as it’s been used in the previous five FIFA’s. That is, when we even get content. I’ve found so far the only time I log in to the web app is if there is new sbcs, which has been very infrequently.

    The one good mode, pro clubs, has been swept aside since the day it was invented. It’s ‘replacement’ this year, Volta, does not even have proper online play. No doubt that will be the big ‘new feature’ for fifa 21. Don’t even get me started on career mode. Not even worth touching. Volta is the only thing that saves this game getting a 0 from me. It’s somewhat enjoyable, even as a dull single player mode. However maybe I’m just comparing it to the lacklustre FUT and then anything will look good. It’s new, atleast, and doesn’t have to put up with the boring, slow football in normal gameplay. You score tons of goals in shorter games, which atleast keeps you motivated to keep playing. I’ll give this a 1/10. I say every year ‘this fifa will be my last’, and still end up buying it, but I’m sure it will be true this time.    … Expand

    This is a broken bulls@#t. Full backs didnt even react when someone run past them, that "great" choreo wich results to lags in front of the goal is awesome! Career mode is totally broken, how UCL can disappear in the middle of the year? Its a big step back even from FIFA 18. This is a joke.

И за несколько последних лет понял что уровень сложности «Профессионал» самый оптимальный в плане гандикапов… А теперь о них: очень интересные отскоки, резкий прирост профессионализма игроков    Очередная FIFA и очередной «молодец»…
    Скажу сразу, играю в ФИФу с 12 года, в среднем 2-3 матча в день (обычно вечерком чтобы отвлечься) просто против компа, не люблю соревноваться хочу отдохнуть. И за несколько последних лет понял что уровень сложности «Профессионал» самый оптимальный в плане гандикапов… А теперь о них: очень интересные отскоки, резкий прирост профессионализма игроков противника и деградация собственной команды. Вижу противник начал финтить жди беды, твой игрок с пейсом выше 90 не бежит – жди беды, игрок блин тебя не слушается 5:0 ты проиграл. Если уровень сложности ставить выше то гандикапы постоянны, вот и приходиться балансировать, хотя и слишком легко стало. И ладно бы только противник становился бы сильнее, но нет, твои игроки превращаются в дворовую команду в одночасье.
    Оп-па двор. Режим Volta. Большего дибилизма для типа «нового» геймплея я не ожидал. Даже FIFA Street 13 года лучше управляется и сделана в целом. На первом этапе – все команды противника имели игрока Сид, как и у меня (может пофиксили), все ломаются об стены, финтить нереально (тем более что в этом году пытались сделать финты более сложными в использовании) в режиме ГДЕ НУЖНО ФИНТИТЬ, любой пас пытается улететь в стену, типа ты так и хотел… Блин, пасы…
    Я конечно понимаю, добавить сложности, реализма и прочее. Но когда уже игроки перестанут смотреть на мяч когда он катится в метре от него в ноги соперника. Пробовал и с помощью в пасах и без, и так и так маразма хватает.
    Так и не научился (хотя и не пытался) time finishing или как там его, после первых же матчей в 19 фифе в режиме ultimate когда мне игроки с рейтингом 60 забивали потому что ПОПАЛИ В ПОЛОСКУ с 30 метров с разворота, я понял что принципиально пользоваться не буду. Да, мне приятней стало играть сейчас, ведь движения и сложность удара стали лучше, но не изменяет факта, насколько сильно влияет рейт удара на итог.
    Режим карьеры футболиста. Я решил сделать ЦОПа в реале, и если раньше меня сразу скидывали в аренду (понятно зачем), то сейчас в составе реала выходит молодняк со мной и Азаром. Вроде приятно что со старта играю в реале, но кем и зачем, это капец… Карьера тренера, ничем не изменилась кроле локации, где можно подписать контракт с игроками.
    Написал сколько влезло к сожалению....
    Всем спасибо, а я и дальше, через силу, буду играть в свою любимую игру (я про футбол в целом, а не про Фифу, ЕА не обольщайтесь)….    … Expand

    Un muy buen juego de deportes. Cumplidor, repleto de contenido y con mejoras en el gameplay que lo hacen una experiencia más completa. Sin embargo, desde hace un par de años se nota que EA llegó al límite de lo que puede lograr en la actual generación de hardware. Requiere que se refresquen todos sus apartados y parece, será hasta dentro de un par de años con la llegada de consolas deUn muy buen juego de deportes. Cumplidor, repleto de contenido y con mejoras en el gameplay que lo hacen una experiencia más completa. Sin embargo, desde hace un par de años se nota que EA llegó al límite de lo que puede lograr en la actual generación de hardware. Requiere que se refresquen todos sus apartados y parece, será hasta dentro de un par de años con la llegada de consolas de nueva generación.     First and most important!!! The 0 points reviews are all lies. PES fans! Fifa 20 is much better than most of Fifa s and tons better than actual release of PES. Demo in pes was good. Definetly not perfect but a very good one comparing with 18, 19. Played 40 games so far and i have nothing to complain about yet! (It may change in time, however!) I am playing career mode and I'm enjoying it thus far. The gameplay does seem a bit more balanced and is more of a challenge for myself (I play on World Class difficulty, no slider changes) although, as with past FIFA's, it does feel quite 'mechanical'; often people complain about it being 'scripted' and it is hard to argue against this. Two of the most frustrating aspects I find is 1) defenders magically being pulled away from the ball/attacker even though you are pressing the stick in their direction.... and 2) shots being dragged wide of the goal even though, when you check on instant replay with the trainer on, the 'shooting arrow' is aimed towards the goal. Definitely some scripting going on here I think! Defending is, again, poor - players seem to back away from attackers and are too easily turned, also being outpaced quite often too. Player positioning can also be bad with wingers keep moving infield and CAM's in defence. Other than that, the gameplay isn't too bad; passing is ok, corners are still a bit pointless and the free-kick system is slightly improved, too. The AI can seem a bit dumb too at times. It's a shame that some teams' third kits are missing from the main game - Inter, Spurs, Wolves for example - but hopefully this will be added in time.

    All in all, FIFA 20 is what it is and has been for a number of years now - very nice to look at it but buggy and lacking in substance, especially career mode. It is obvious that EA's attention is on FUT, kind of understandable from their point of view as a business but long term players such as myself, who enjoy the neglected career mode, can't help but feel bottom of the priority list. As a loyal FIFA customer for over 20 years now, it is rather insulting. So FIFA 20 gets a 5 for me but not particularly because of the game but more due to EA's treatment of its loyal customers.    … Expand

The FIFA franchise has become very stale, and I personally don't enjoy the changes they've made to it's gameplay over the past couple of years, but at least every new release in the series is largely predictable in it's content and presentation. It's basically FIFA 19.1 with a VOLTA DLC, minus Juventus' official licenses. I rate it a 5 for it's mediocrity and lack of substantial improvements. +1 point for adding a new game mode that's basically a poor man's FIFA Street.    … Expand

I usually love switching between Ultimate Team and Career Mode, but it seems all EA want you to do these days is play UT, since that game mode works fairly solidly and Career Mode is broken beyond belief. New 'improvements' have been badly programmed to break the game, teams still aren't updated to represent the 2019/20 season, managers get sacked for the tiniest of reasons. Immersion in the game is non-existent since most teams field their weakest sides for absolutely no reason, resulting in top clubs facing relegation, all conference and player interactions are riddled with poor typos and grammar. My review doesn't even break the ice of how ridiculous this game is bugged, to think of how big of a fan base this franchise has feels like a complete slap in the face to the people like myself who have bought the game year in, year out. Unless there's signs of significant improvement, I think this will be my last purchase of a FIFA game for a long time to come. I've only played single player so far, since I can imagine playing online to be even more of a rage-inducing affair.… Expand

Fifa Street which made a comeback this year as Volta, which by the way is not even close as being good as the last Fifa Street for the old gen. I’ve always been a die hard fan of Fifa, and its just sad to waste money to witness EA destroying the series year after year. I’ll probably return the game to get credits to buy another game or whatever. My advice for those who havent got the game yet, don’t do it anytime soon, wait until they fix the major bugs, assuming that they will, if not, save your coins.

Which then will let weaker opposition win with very few shots while you’re lucky to score with 10. Aspects haven’t been fixed for years. All ea want is your money!!! Avoid this game.

    Was annoyed at the start about the new defending mechanic, but you get used to it, at least you have to if you want to play on-line, ever. The worst things come at rebounds. Seems like if both of the players are approximately at the same level, the rebounds will decide the final outcome. Other horrible thing to mention is the heading mechanic.     This is the most unfinished FIFA game I have ever played. It's full of glitches and bugs that you pay full price for, and will not be fixed in the next 5 years. It would be fine if this was just an alpha version and ready to be released in 5 years or so.

    FIFA 20 is by far the best FIFA game in years, because of the so much changes EA have done to this game and returning of FIFA Street finally. Again, like prevoius games, it has microtransactions and loot boxes which is a big negative about the game. Don't listen to kids who gives this 0, because it is a huge improved game from the series.

Thus further incentivizing the full-on focus on nurturing the tumor that is the FIFA Ultimate Team and completely neglecting the career mode. Outstanding move.

    EA is the worst company in the history of capitalism. Period. Look at the accounts that gave this game 10/10 — they are recently created for the sole purpose of attempting to pull the user score up. How ****ing pathetic is that? Are those employees or friends and family of employees? Random people that were paid? EA just cannot stay away from scummy practices. I wonder what next these clueless schmucks will come up with, lol.
    Lastly, the EA's community management is just terrible. I swear, given how they manage the current crisis, they hire literal degenerates. It's like they are running some sort of second chance association for recovering crackheads.

    That all being said, you should give eFootball PES 2020 a try. At least they care about improving their game, despite it also being an annual franchise. All their recent partnerships: Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester United, is a good indication where Konami's priorities are compared to those of EA.

    FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
