    Cannot play the full game because it is illegal to buy fifa points in my country, i.e. Belgium. So a lots of players especially legends are impossible to obtain (close to 1000hours for Maradonna). These pay-to-win mechanics will kill the franchise if they do not stop being as greedy. I am not a huge football fan and barely tolerate that they sell a new full priced game every year insteadCannot play the full game because it is illegal to buy fifa points in my country, i.e. Belgium.     Didn't buy the game but played it for a week while house-sitting. Same story as every year. Definitely not buying this year. Career Mode is a joke full of bugs. The Volta mode is fun for a bit but not worth buying the game. FUT has ruined this game. FIFA 19 gameplay was better than 20 if you ask me.

    It's amazing that everytime a new patch is released the game just becomes worst, even more broken.
    Not just career mode, but ultimate team gameplay is literally broken, one game your players feel like you're playing with 11 Messis and the next one they can't even make a good pass, completely awful.

    This review will be based on my time with Fifa 20 ultimate team. Every issue from last years iteration persist and new are added. Weird issues with stamina, offensive players standing at their own backline at kickoff, keepers and referees behaving worse than ever. Weird issues with stamina, offensive players standing at their own backline at kickoff, keepers and referees behaving worse than ever. The gameplay is horrible at the best of times and the game is often unplayable due to horrible input-latency.
    Fifa 19 was also riddled with issues and EAs plan seemed to be releasing enough content to keep players off the pitch and the horrible gameplay - and spend their time playing the menus for cards and in-game currency.

    This year EA are providing almost no content and the extra time spent on the pitch has made the myriad of technical and gameplay issues even more apparent than last years iteration.

    Last years promo content had me firing up the game now and again for the whole gamecycle. This year I put the game back in the box less than 3 weeks in - and I doubt its getting back out.

    If you consider getting out after last years buggy mess - this is the year to save your money.    … Expand

The gameplay just isn`t right, FIFA has had a problem for years that they never seem to balance, and that is the balance of speed. Above all mechanics flawed as always, the issues there were in fifa 14 still exists today. Biggest one- pass not going to the right player. Just like in "real football," if a team is down by 1, they will play at a higher energy level to score. The team winning will do anything to preserve that 1 goal, which means they will play back, and more defensive.
    We literally see this in every game.

    Gameplay wise, it feels very similar, if maybe a little slower. I thought defending had been made more difficult and initially struggled and lost a few games on legendary; but, after learning to just stand there and pressure attackers, you invariably get the ball back within a few moments.

    Whole thing needs a complete overall. As i said, It's meh. The horrible thing is I'll still smash over 100 hours into the damn thing over the next 12 months...    … Expand

The user cannot shoot the same way the Ai does, there's more errors on the user's side. The penalties are horrible.     Всё одно и тоже, одни баги, глюки, нереальные удары, скорость игры была поначалу нормальная после патча опять вернули скорость. С 17 года нечего не меняется, могли хотябы доделать нормально всё уже.

Non è possibile rilasciare un gioco “ rotto “ e aspettare 3 settimane per dei fix che si risolvono parzialmente i bug iniziali ma non portano a nulla di nuovo ( carriera allenatore ) . Si salva solo per le licenze delle squadre ; la carriera allenatore è rimasta pressoché identica al 19 !!!! The game has gone on sale in a totally unfinished state. Some of the bugs are beyond a joke and should have easily have been recognized before release.     Most of all - it shows the WHOLE TEAM does NOT UNDERSTAND FOOTBALL RULES:
    - In FIFA20, the goalkeeper can NOT close pass to defender within box when there is a goal kick (idiots developers don't know this is a new rule?) - A goalkeeper can apparently make hands outside their box in FIFA20    A list of what is really broken in this game, making it a FIFA19 patch - which was already sh***.

They code all the different parts of the game and then they put them together to fit their interests. They care about UT money - and that's about it. The career is great, the bug (the clubs put up their non-core staff in 50% of the games) certainly interfered, but it was fixed after 2 weeks. There wasn’t much, but I like the gameplay top, thanks EA sports for such a game!… Expand

Although the quality have been declining in the past few years, this version is even worse than 19. It’s like a goal carnival with so much unfairness. Somehow, unberlievably this game just keeps getting worse and performance & service drops with each iteration. The same issues that were present in FIFA 13 are STILL present in this one. EA do not listen to their customer base whatsoever.

    Somehow EA even manage to give actual FIFA a bad name - no mean feat - if FIFA had any sense at all they would revoke their licenses

    EA need to somehow be held more accountable for their arrogant disregard for standards & the concerns of their customers. This piece of software should simply NEVER have been allowed to be released in the state it was. Full stop.

    Everything is rebound and luck! Dont play online games its same **** as always. Kick off bug still work !? How is that possible ?!?!?! Got enough from dat dog**** company. Everything that EA cares is microtrans. Open 1000 packs for an Icon and you will still got stupid useless Moore. Good Icons are for streamers and pro's. At least volta was good in single player

    6) Big teams will always field a weak team for a big game. Example, Barcelona will not play any of their starting XI in the Champions League final.

    EA will no doubt fix these but the fact they were allowed to happen AFTER RELEASE is completely disgusting. It is common now to buy a game for it to be 60% complete and we, the consumer are supposed to be content with that. VOTE WITH YOUR WALLETS.

    This fifa 20 there are new things like volta that the lack of a little dribbles, but it's ok the volta, also the fifa ultimate team is ok only missing the volta mode, that is with the team that you have in ultimate team you can with the 4 best fours of your team , and play online with someone else, the others is fine, I didn't really like the story mode of the volta, but the others is fine.

Some new features in the game, but essentially the same as Fifa 19, except they BROKE Career mode :/ Tired of being shipped out a broken product that seems nothing like the original when all patch up at the end. Also, tired of being a tester as I'm a customer buying a product and service.

    The career mode is completely broken I wonder if they even played through 50% of one season ... the game has more bugs than fifa 18 and most features in the Pro mode don’t even work. Absolutely honorless to sell this game for 55€ euros you basically only pay for a new design, ultimate team cards and the almost current squads

I'm not sure how all the things wrong with it weren't addressed in testing but regardless, they're working on it. Gameplay wise, the only thing wrong right now is switching player, which - even when using the right analog stick - seems to not change to who you are trying to select. Because the scrubs can't defend manually, they abuse the 'Drop Back' custom tactic, which allows me, a possession based player, to have so much room around the edge of their box, play my way through and score. I haven't lost a single game on Online Seasons yet because the game is rewarding positive play instead of just having pacey players and spamming through ball, and I LOVE IT.… Expand

Tackling is rubbish have to make 3 or 4 tackles before actually winning the ball back. Shooting is inconsistent, what’s the point in timed finishing when if you hit a green timed shot it makes the shot worse instead of better.     FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
