Its just a re-release of Fallout 4, with an online feature, no NPC's, Fast Travel you pretty much need to use all the time, and griefers. $60 to buy this... then microtransactions worth $20 to get paint for your power armor. Just paint. and just for power armor. I've already uninstalled after about 4 hours. Bethesda is not what it used to be.

Actually, i'm a huge fan of Bethesda, and waiting like a dog for TES6 from 2011 (as before i waited for Oblivion and Morrowind) , and as we remember - Bethesda aways did TES - Fallout - TES - Fallout, and now it was a turn of TES6, but we have what we have. I'm just really crying, when see what happened with my favorite studio. Trying to sell us totally raw and BAD product. Please, so.

Poor performance, bad graphics, boring story, no Fov slider, 60 FPS cap.
With a GTX 1080 ti and an i7 7700k you get in some Areas around 40 FPS. On low settings!
The game quickly gets boring, you can't do anything else as explore and loot.

Fallout 76 is a lifeless, shell of a world that had most of it's assets ripped from Fallout 4. It goes out of it's way to take everything that Fallout was and throw it in the trash for the sake of appealing to a fanbase that was never there.

Pros. The Music is good, as usual. Cons. No NPC's. No Story outside of notes, holotapes and exposition shouted at you by robots.

The Music is good, as usual.

    Cons.
    No NPC's.

No Story outside of notes, holotapes and exposition shouted at you by robots.

Meaningless factions that lead only to busywork repeatable quests such as 'escort this robot' and 'defend this supply cache'.

Shoehorned factions put in simply for brand recognition, despite them making no lore sense in the setting.

    PvP that doesn't exist.

PvE that's stupidly easy, and when it's not easy you're just fighting bullet sponges.

    The dialogue system removed entirely.

90% of the game is inhabited by these fake ghouls called 'scorched', no enemy variety at all.

Ridiculous micro-transactions that manage to be even worse than the creation club ($3 for a virtual door for your house, $5 for some stupid hat).

It's still on the creation engine. Which means all the bugs that existed in Fallout 4 and even as far back as MORROWIND still persist.

You can speedhack the game just by editing a .ini file.

There's no data encryption. Hope you're not trying to hide your IP address from some stalker.

DO NOT reward Bethesda for this travesty of a game.

So skip forward a few long months as we got the beta from Bethesda if you had pre-ordered any of the version you could purchase...
During the beta, we all saw our fair share of bugs and glitches and some of these are still present in the "finished" product, But The did drop a 50 gig update into the game before the game went live on the 14th November.
Now let's talk about the game... If you have played Fallout 4 this game will be right up your street very much the same type of gameplay minus an immersive storyline but there is still a story of sorts which has you galavanting over the state of West Virginia,
The gameplay and graphics are very nice as they were on fallout 4 just with a few extra bits of detail slung in to give it a bit of depth,
The camp mode is nice but there is already talks that this will be played within the near future and aside the lack of NPC's the game still flows.
It is a SPIN-OFF and I must state this again as its not a follow on from the original series, the game is an experiment by Bethesda not to be designed as a cash cow but to be designed as another potential idea they can play with not just for fallout but for maybe an elder scrolls title at some point as well.
While playing the actual game as someone who reviews games with no financial backing or sponsorship which means I had to buy this game myself. I don't find myself disappointed more curious to find out what their actually gonna do with this idea and how it expands.
Like most of you I was apprehensive at the start but the more I played and the more I read into it minus the crapload of hate that was being turned out by everyone with a youtube channel I found that the game was set to be something I may actually enjoy,
All in all the game is what it is its a free for all "softcore survival" game with a sandbox element where u play as whatever you want to play as. the variety of enemies and "zones" in this game give it a bit more of a deep feel to where they went in the game and like iv said genuinely excited to see where this goes..
This game isn't for everyone so if you don't like games like Ark or Conan you probably won't like this but for all Fallout fans who enjoy roaming around the land with no direction at the end of the game that's what this is like. Its like when u finished fallout 4 and u just kept exploring... its just fallout 76 that's the whole game.
So love it or hate it fallout 76 has changed the minds of many but again it's not for everyone...

So until the next time Peace out and enjoy your game, Whatever that is.

Cards are just an absolute nightmare and it makes no sense why they abandoned the skill tree. There is no plot whatsoever, all youre trying to do is take 3 nuclear silos, thats it. The Pip-Boy makes the most annoying radio static sound at all times that you cant turn off and will drive you crazy in 5 minutes if you play with headphones. Not to mention that the game is shockingly lifeless, it feels like you're the only character on the map most of the time. The customization options are robust, and the CAMP system has been expanded upon from Fallout 4's Settlement system, though there are still some kinks to work out. The game bogs down at times, mostly when in an area with a lot of other players (events where there are more than 3 players working together tends to kill the frame rate). There are quite a few graphical bugs, but most are texture pop-in's at a distance and aren't really noticed unless you're looking for them. I've encountered one quest killing bug so far where I was stuck in a terminal, unable to even open the main menu to quit the game properly, but my progress was saved so it wasn't a critical failure.

Overall the game has lived up to my expectations, but there are some bugs and graphical issues that need working out. Don't believe all the scores of zero, because as someone who has actually played the game, I can tell they haven't.

So utterly disappointing and flawed in every possible way… The first few hours, most of it can be ignored, and occasionally the flaws can be forgotten, but only briefly before they come storming back to the forefront. An awful, boring, empty, pointless experience. There is, however, a glimmer of hope. It's worth mentioning that there has already been a Bethesda title that was equally as unimpressive: The Elder Scrolls Online - but looking at it now, it has transformed into one of the best MMOs out there. There's always the hope the Fallout 76 develops the same way and becomes something special, but for now, that seems impossible. It's a world away from that.

Fallout 76 isn't your typical fallout experience. You don't have NPCs or dialogue, but instead get real players that should fill this void - that ultimately fails to do so. It does some things right, but as of now I cannot recommend getting this game as long as it stays a broken and boring mess that it is right now.

Fallout 76 is the series’ Freshman introduction into the world of online, multiplayer games. As a result, we are experiencing all of the awkwardness and clumsiness associated with that season of life. It is imperfect and a bit uncomfortable, but I see opportunity for Fallout 76 to be more than it presently it - to be a truly great, rich Fallout experience.
