    This is one of the two games that I have ever have gotten addicted to. Loved it, though the dialog and evil options were a problem. The choices you could actually do were minimal and the karma bar wasn't even there. Else the game was really fun

    Not a bad game by any means but this game could have used some improvements such as AI or a few graphical upgrades. But mods have seriously boosted this game up to at least a 7.9 score.

    Good, has passion, great for a modern day AAA game. However there are better games but Fallout 76 is much worse than Fallout 4. Overall great game but there are better games

    I like the game! 50+ hours has spent in the postapocaliptic world! I like a lot of ways of weapon customization, developing facilities,cooperation with numerous NPCs.

    Fallout 4 is a good game, god knows how many hours ive thrown at it, still not nearly as compelling as skyrim. The map is huge, and its Boston, which strikes a nostalgic tone on it and exploring it s very fun, yet the story is not as immersive. the protagonist talking doesn't help either. crafting feels half baked and settlement building gets grindy and pointless after a while.

    Didn't know what to expect and never played any Fallout games before. I really enjoyed this game especially the base building, weapon & armor customisation etc.

    A fantastic video game that suffers a bit from an oversimplification of many of the gameplay elements I found enjoyable in Fallout 3, as well as unnecessary and half-baked gameplay elements like settlement-building.     The game is fine, it continues having the main characteristics that differentiate the fallouts from other titles (luckily).
    The first thing I see about you is that they changed the system of conversations, you only have to choose between saying 4 things.

    And finally, leaving aside the bugs, the game is quite easy, the first hours of game you get a power armor and a minigun, in a car repository there is a Fat Man (the most powerful weapon of the whole game) with a mini nuke, and is one of the areas closest to refuge 111.

    Ok, This was my first Fallout game. So, I know many fans of the series may not all agree with me. But I really enjoyed the game. let's be fair this game is far from perfect but I believe it does more things right than wrong.

    Having a voiced protagonist is always a plus for me. It helps me Roleplay and to get involved in the story.     The gunplay is solid. Many options to craft your weapons.

    The map is massive with varied ambient feel, depending on the location in the world.

    The graphic is very poor and you can spect a few glitches.

    some may or may not like this game but i still found it very enjoyable. it does miss some fallout themes but overall was still my go to fallout game... nothing like fallout 76 which was garbage

    a great fallout game but since this is make by bethesda it not really had that freedom of fallout new vegas and it feel like lesser copy paste of fallout 3 with better graphic. the map feel more empty because by some reason it feel like the enemy respawn time is longer in fo4. but the new combat and new mechanic is a huge improvement.

    I really enjoyed new features which we we're lacking in Fallout 3(weapon modification, settlements). This things allow you to to play your own game with your unique style which is great.

    I didn't like the plot though. The main story itself just isn't interesting(fun fact, I've played Skyrim for several hundreds of hours but never completed main story because of the same reason). I didn't sympathized main character and I didn't enjoy fraction tasks. Tell the truth, I'd prefer not having main story at all, just side quests and open world exploration(which are still great in my opinion).

    Fallout 4 switched things up a lot. They added settlements. And the ability to build your own settlements. Which I saw a lot of people disliked, oddly. I found it the best addition to the game they could have done! I spent more time with the settlements than anything else in the game. (and I spent around 100 hours on quests and exploration alone!)

    I really enjoyed building the settlements, the only thing I wish was it had bigger areas to build. After building a large town, my place cap was maxed, and I couldn't build anymore. After hours of building up one settlement, I'd need to spend hours savaging to restock my supply. And then it was off to the next settlement. However, I do wish they got attacked more often to test my defenses more.

    Outside of settlements there was the quest lines. The main quest was interesting. And as always, I enjoy the multiple different endings to the game. And much like all the other games, the vast world to explore and loot keeps you playing for hours. This is a great game and a great addition to the series.    … Expand

The retrofuturism of Fallout 4 is very interesting and special but in terms of RPG, the dialogue choices and progression seems very linear. Also sometimes the save files are bugged as when I I killed somebody that was important, my previous save file was lost and the story was in a limbo state.     Had a blast playing through Fallout 4. Got the Platinum Trophy too which was enjoyable to get. Not as epic as Fallout 3 which had the Karma system that was removed sadly in Fallout 4.

    Большая отличная игра. ДЛС цепляющие, в некотором смысле лучше оригинала. Строительство странно прикручено, так им и не проникся. В остальном добротный шутер. Поэтому 8/10.

I think too many people are hung up on the fact that the dev team wanted to make a looter shooter with rpg elements rather that an rpg with looter shooter elements. I think the story is pretty good but drags at parts and is boring in others but that is dependent on which faction you go with.     I love that the shooting isn't entirely tart and that they really built the game around the idea of: "lets not make skyrim with guns again" I think that nailing down the shooting and mechanics before the rpg and story helps the game a ton. The settlement mechanics allow you to modify and kit out yourself from basically anywhere in the wasteland.
    I believe that the game was unfairly reviewed in 2019 due to review bombing because of 76 this game is great and I hope to the godly Garvey that a mainline single-player fallout comes out in the next five years after the Elder Scrolls 6.    … Expand

    I would give this game a lower score but since Im a big fan of Fallout 3 I think this game deserves an 8. its just a better improved version of 3(mechanics wise) other than that the story is ok and the glitches are all over the place.

    I would say don't judge this game by how it is without the add-ons; It'd be about 8/10, maybe even 7.
    However, the picture becomes incredibly clear that the story is not what it appears as you uncover more information throughout the game, doing added missions in expansive areas with Far Harbor and Nuka-World; This is    I actually wrote an essay on this game that I had to cut pages off of.

It's a shame the publicists couldn't give the writers their due credit because it would ruin the plot device.

    I'm not going to do a full review of the game because I've already put a ton of effort into analyzing the story, which is easily the game's biggest selling point.
    If you're looking for a post-apocalyptic world mixed with something like Blade Runner, this is a great place to go.
    If you're looking for an exploration-heavy open-world RPG FPS with base-building elements, this is a great place to go. (Though I wish they could've just made bases in this game online instead of trying to do it with F76)
    I very strongly recommend playing this in Survival mode if you're looking for a challenge; Though loss of fast travel may seem like a turn-off, there's definitely an added layer of immersion with the limitations (needing to eat and drink to survive, needing to sleep like a normal human to function, ammo having weight, being prone to more illnesses, etc...).

    Gun and gear customization is great / better with add-ons.

    Game-play accommodates many play-styles very well: I've done a play-through all melee, as well as with minimal VATS-usage using mostly automatic weapons.

    Lost some details that made Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas outstanding games, but makes up for it with new concepts in the franchise.
    Could've been perfect if Bethesda didn't take away those diverse dialogue options and the karma meter.

    I played this game at launch, but never got around to doing a review. It was actually my first fall out game. The story was ok, but it was the exploring, collecting, and looting that I really enjoyed. It took me a bit to get used to the combat system, but once I did I found it unique and enjoyed it. I spent a lot of time building settlements and doing some of the extras the game had to offer.     The Gameplay is great, The characters are great. The ONLY reason I didn't give it a 10 was because of that wonky area is town where you slow down tremendously. I don't know what that is, but it's horrible.

    Long and interesting storyline. Nice characters nice humour. Expansive character development. World feels a bit too artificial and compact. Graphics and animations are not that good. Bugs are still here though not so bad as previous Bethesda games.

НО есть минусы о которых молчать нельзя 1. диалоги - серьезно, тут мало вариантов разговоров и многие из них никак не меняют дальнейшие последсвия игры. 2. баги - их тут просто дофига, я за 30 минут нашел пару штук и это так себе. графика - она конечно не совсем плохая но до гта5 и других игр вышедших в тоИгра хорошая, большой открытый мир, много квестов, разные варианты прохождения...     I finally got around to playing fallout 4 for the 1st time. Its a great game. Some say the graphics aren't great but they have an unique style to them. And playing the game with some good visual mods installed, it looks even better. There are so many good side quests & of course with a compelling main story. I think Fallout 4 is one of the best in the franchise & if you haven't played itI finally got around to playing fallout 4 for the 1st time. Its a great game.     This was the first of the fallout games I had ever played. Let me tell you.. I was NOT disappointment. The story, over all, wasnt bad. The game play was fun and the visuals were pretty neat. The unique mobs and dialog made this a really enjoyable game. Being able to discover an open world in this manner was my cup of tea! This game provides excellent DLC as well. Would recommend.

    I liked the new approach to the vault dweller and the twists the story takes, the treatment of one of the most controversial topics in sci-fi that is autonomously intelligent artificial life and the factions having their own sense    Returning to the wasteland is always a fun experience and exploring Fallout's big map and finding hilarious and/or disturbing tapes or computer logs is awesome.

There are multiple endings that don't feel totally different from one another. This game really does have an incredibly enjoyable atmosphere while exploring the wastes of the common wealth.     Overall I found it a great game but not a masterpiece and I will tell you why.

    When the game starts you are slowly eased in to the mechanics of the game. You pick your name and various stats which if you know nothing about the game can make it a difficult start.
    From the beginning if you are not paying attention to the story you can miss out a lot on what the plot is about but the game does a good job in reminding you on why you are scouring the wasteland.

    One you get past the ''Tutorial'' you are left to fend for yourself in the open world, Luckily you have your trusted pip boy with you which is your Stat, Quest, Inventory guide and many more options.
    There is also base building which is not crucial and can be avoided until a certain part in the quest line which you will be forced to create structures. Personally the base building feature is majority of the fun.

    The game does tell you where to go but after completing the first 2 main quests there is a big jump between 2nd and the 3rd which you will need to level up to survive. On the way to the 3rd quest various locations can be unlocked which will become fast travel points.

    There is a difficulty which turns fast travel off but I will not be covering this in the review

    Once you get past the 3rd, 4th and finally the 5th quest you will see and hear of various factions popping up around the world. This is where you will use your own mind to decide which faction you think does the right thing and which you will have to join. Once you join one the 3 factions (Excluding minutemen) you will not be allowed to join another and will have to finish the game with them and the subsequent DLCS. You can do a few quests for each faction to get a feel for them and their values, the game does a good job in explaining what will happen once you join the faction.

    Certain areas of the game will cause a drop in frame rates, mainly down the southeast area of the map which is heavily populated. Mods can also be used on this game however I noticed that mods cause lag for me and blue error screens start popping up frequently with mod use.
    If these issues were sorted with error screens I would have given this game a 10/10. I am starting to believe my community when they say Bethesda is filled with bugs.    … Expand

    I made a meta critic account to review this game because I am extremely disappointed. I pre ordered this game weeks in advance because I am a if fan of the fallout series I know it's not the same game, the RPG feature being the major factor

    Esse foi o meu primeiro Fallout, então não posso falar em comparação aos outros, mas não sei por que reclamam tanto desse jogo, ele é muito interessante!! Um mundo enorme e cheio de coisas para explorar, diferentes jeitos de abordagem nas missões, que inclusive pode ter diferentes finais, vários companheiros durante o jogo... Também tem lá suas falhas, mas no geral o jogo é excelente!

    I gave it a 10 because I love the open world do what you want style. If you try to do all this game has to offer you'll go through 3 births and 2 divorces the time you're done

    A pesar de que podrían haberlo hecho mucho mejor, el juego me ha dado muchas buenas sorpresas y buenos ratos. Es una peor versión que el Fallout 3 pero con mejores gráficos.

    honestly i am quite happy with how fallout 4 turned out and i invested quite a lot of time into the game. I have zero regrets and i personally had a great experience, each of the factions were different in its own way, and i sunk into the experience of surviving the ruins of Boston.     I love Fo4! I'm not sure why the ratings aren't higher. I see people pouting about the story and things like the dialogue not saying what you select it to. The storyline is awesome. The only thing i wish was that the endings had a bit more substance to them but over all it's an excellent game. I love fallout 3 NV and now 4.     I loved this game. I'm aware that many hardcore Fallout fans were, understandably, not satisfied with certain elements of the game but I had a great experience. There was an enormous colorful world to explore, improved shooting mechanics, awesome power armor, and interesting companions were just a few things that I loved about it. With my long backlog of games I normally only do oneI loved this game. With my long backlog of games I normally only do one playthrough so I didn't get to see how my in-game choices affected (or didn't affect) the story therefore this element of the game had no impact on my personal enjoyment. There were things I didn't like, for instance the story and ending could have been better and the framerate was extremely poor in some areas, but I was having so much fun with the game otherwise that those things didn't make much of a difference.

    Pros: Power Armor. Improved graphics/shooting mechanics from previous entry. Lots to explore. Companions are interesting. Base-building was fun (see cons).

    Cons: Some missions get repetitive. The story/ending could have been better. Base building (and protecting your base from attackers!) was a great idea that was left undercooked. The framerate in some areas is unacceptable.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Fallout 4 should be revisited. Let me first say I understand the knee-jerk reaction of not liking this game. When it came we were expecting another New Vegas and that is not what we got. Even so, I think people are too hard on it . Pros: Imersive world. Great art design, fun combat/perk system, great side characters and side missions. I love a lot of the "busy work" in this game. It gives you a reason to explore the world and a lot of it is fun. I love the settlemen building.

    This is one of the best fallout games. It's new perk system is much more visually appealing. It's use of voiced character dialogue makes it amazing. The use of factions is good though not as well done as New Vegas. The guns are very good to use and even the melee combat feels good. However I would have like to see some more post game content but hey there's always mods.

    This game is a really good game, but I thing that the dialogues could have more choice like in Fallout 3. Also this game has the best graphics on a Fallout game. Another good thing of the game is that the shooting action is really good and the VATS has been weel implemented

    A great game, I did not understand well about why a 67/100 of user criticisms, but I do not care about their complaints, I will continue to like this game because of the game world, good narrative and the combat mode of the game, if I consider it as the best Fallout game I have ever played.

    tbh it was my first open-world game that I played and boy oh boy it was legendary the only thing I think is not good in this game is The Minutemen missions it forces u to complete them by Preston Garvey
    only talks about those poor settlements that need help and if u chose to do it later the mission just fails in a matter of time but great game after all

    I Really like the fallout series and have played all of the previous games and to say i was exited for this one would be an understatement. i was really hoping that 4 would be as good as 3 and i am exited to say they are very close in quality. I highly recommend this game even if there are some parts that aren't amazing.

    Super jeux plus de 200 heures de jeux. J'adore la création des villes et le scénario très bien écrit. Plusieurs fin disponibles selon notre orientation dans l'histoire et un max de DLC vivement un autre fallout, pas en mode fallout 76.

I prefer Playstation due to their focus on narrative games. For scoring, I’ll be using the Gameinformer review scale and of course influenced by my personal opinions.

    (8) Very Good. Innovative, but perhaps not the right choice for everyone. This score indicates that there are many good things to be had, but arguably so.

    Who knew exploring a radioactive wasteland can be fun. The Fallout series continues to do a great job with notable companions and NPCs. Just wish they didn't throw camp building and sanctuary missions at you constantly and that the story is arc isn't foreseen from the start. First person shooting has been improved to compared to previous entries of the series, but still could use some work. I also wish there were tough choices to make like previous Fallout games. Now we have a better looking waste land to explore while we wait for the next one.    … Expand

    It's a good game if you love the Fallout series. The bad reviews are mostly about the price, which has dropped in the meantime and the Creation Club of Bethesda. I do not like the CC move either, you don't have to use it. If you're new to Fallout 4 I recommend to take a look at Nexusmods.

    This game is fun ......is underated ....i play this even today i have 1000 hours in this game and still i find this fun .....and game shud be played in survival not casual(normal) difficulty if you didn't play on survival you didn't play the game...this game is basically skyrim with guns

    I first played this in 2018 and it instantly became one of my favourite games of the generation! I couldn't believe how immersed I became in the building aspect and aside from that, the world and lore in this game is amazing.

    I recently decided to try and play through it again, but this time with mods.     My first real experience in a role playing game and i fell in love with the different characters you could play as throughout the campaign. Looking back now , there wasn't an abundance of choice but the game does give you this freedom to roam free with your imagine despite in game additions.

    The game had a few problems, which translated into a lot of damage. These problems, moving away from the roots of RPG and the imbalance between RPG and shooter, made it not become a top Bethesda game.
    The problem of the dialogue system and the character not being silent and the very few choices of this game was very good overall game

    This game is very good. this game has a thing that any other fallout doesn't have (without counting fallout 76) after completing the game you can continue playing it that thing is excellent. Nv and 3 are way better than 4 but, is a very good game

    This game is unbelievable, love the RPG elements, the story is heartwarming and the side quests are out of this world, recommend to see which are the radiant quests and not do too many of them as they are infinite in amount but other than that perfect game.

    Fallout 4 leans to the Shooting side of things. It strips down the gameplay from the actual RPG elements and offers a meta-nuclaer shooting gallery which of course keep its charm and gameplay wealth but also feels a little too friendly for the new comers. The Base builder mode is unnecessary, boring and irritating. Unfortunately, overall, there are no steps forward for this Nuclear Holocaust Behemoth of the video games industry. Only steps sideways.
