    After putting in a hundred hours into the game I think I its safe to say that I think the game is a masterpiece and easily the best fps I have ever played it demands so much more of the player rather than playing mindlessly.

    I've been playing this game on and off since release, starting over whenever i did. However i finally finished the game. Doom eternal is a fun game that causes the player to actually get involved and think on their feet on higher difficulties. It is a good game and a good way to get you thinking.     Ótimo jogo. Eu amo como a tradição é opcional, mas ainda existe para aqueles que gostam, ao contrário do último DOOM. A jogabilidade é super divertida e rápida.

    This game is hard even on easy setting. The developers were having a good time creating a game that can stress people up deliberately. They know its hard that's why they give u a sentinel armor option if u die more than 3x in a fight.. pretty insulting. Not all players play to become a mass murderer. Some just play for fun and to appreciate lovely graphic art in a game.

    Literally amazing. movement is spectacular, incredibly well implemented, had more of a story that Doom 2016, and the gunplay felt amazing i had so much fun playing.

    One of the best shooters I've ever played. Game play variety is beautiful, every enemy has choreographed attacks, unique abilities, making the battles feel like a chess game as you dance around the map fighting demons. The music is top notch and some of the most dynamic, god-complex inducing tracks I've ever heard in a game.

    DOOM Eternal is hands down not only the best shooter of 2020 but probably the best shooter we've seen since Bethesda's revival of the DOOM series back in 2016. The gameplay is faster and more graphic than ever with new weapons and creative ways to get around the maps both when it comes to exploration and combat.

    I've done 2 playthrough's of the game, and I can confidently say it is a masterpiece. The gameplay loop is extremely fun and killing demons never felt better. The game is a lot more difficult than the previous game in the series. The story is heavily improved and the many missions you go on all have detailed surroundings.     Loved the first one so much I had to buy Doom Eternal. At times the story would lose me and some of the new game mechanics took some getting used to but overall it was a nice play through and would recommend it to anyone that wants a good run and gun.

    Likes : Simply AMAZING graphics - best ever for a Doom game. The shooter experience too is fast & great.

    Dislikes: Would have liked the demons to look a bit larger in size on the screen.

    This game was everything I wanted from a sequel of DOOM 2016. More demons, more guns and more awesomeness. I loved the new mechanics and new features (demons, guns, better puzzles etc...) and the music is cherry on top. I do have very few minor issues but none that took away from the overall experience. This is a hell of a game!

    I am a terrible shooter player, and even besides that, this gave me the full experience of smashing and shooting. Very gory. Very stressful. Believe whatever you read about this game :) especially about the soundtrack and combat being good.

    - The movement and combat is fluid, more so than any other recent game that I can think of
    - The art design is just spot on
    Cons:
    - The story isn't the best, it's not bad, but it doesn't achieve the same level of quality as the other parts that make up the game

    I really do recommend this game to anyone who hasn't bought it yet, very fun game that can be played many ways, only problem is there isn't much to do after you do the campaign, besides pvp or modded levels. I love this game but it is hard to replay for me since it requires so much time skill, its not very good at being a game you can play every once and awhile, it requires constant attention.

You can get to a point where you don't think, just KILL, and it feels incredibly thrilling. What keeps thisThe best of Doom Eternal is when you're double-jumping over a dozen demons, shooting grenades and mini-rockets and trying to keep track of all the projectiles coming your way plus where you can go in a sprawling 3D environment filled with gaps, bridges, springboards and the like. You can get to a point where you don't think, just KILL, and it feels incredibly thrilling. What keeps this game from being an absolute masterpiece is when things don't click like that, and you're instead just left frustrated and unfulfilled.

    The game's essentially about two things: exploration and combat, with combat obviously being the most important of the two. On that aspect Doom eternal does a pretty good job of things, mixing a respectable variety of enemies and giving each a specific strategy to fight. Throughout the entire game you're constantly increasing and improving your arsenal and the feeling of becoming better at destroying demons is definitely there. That being said, some weapons still feel weak and uneventful, so much so that I find myself literally never using them (I'm looking at you, rocket launcher); can't say I'm a huge fan of the flame belch either, again because it feels like such a weak and unassuming move, something I only use out of a feeling of obligation. The solidity of the demons is also understandable, but it feels a little unbalanced too. The slayer might not be the biggest guy in the world, but he should be at the very least capable of pushing aside the basic zombie enemies. Instead, it's ease for demons to basically lock you in place by surrounding you until you're completely disoriented with the flashing lights and explosions, though, in the game's defense, maybe I'm at fault for not keeping better track of my surroundings. Also, it's hilariously evil that the BFG is just assigned as a regular weapon in your rotation that you can pull by accident with your mouse-wheel and once you've clicked it you're committed to the shot even though the ammunition for it is so limited it's basically a special ability like the laser sword.

    Traversal is about as good as it can be, considering the fact that it's a 1st person shooter, but here's the thing: you've given me so many navigational moves that I can basically cover the entire zone without touching the ground once, and there's fifteen different secrets, including potential weapon upgrades, scattered throughout the level. Of course I'm gonna check every goddamn corner! And that's why it's upsetting when you hit random invisible walls, or ledges you can't actually stand on because the game doesn't recognize them as floors. Furthermore, every level has different stages or sub-zones without clear identification for where they start and where they end. You can rarely tell if you're just advancing to the next room or if you're gonna cross a threshold and suddenly there's a cutscene and the path back is now blocked or worse, the level's over. If it's the later, then you've now missed all those collectibles you still wanted to try and reach, and you either need to start the level again or use the fast travel mechanic, which just isn't all that fun.

    At the end of the day, my complaints about the game are all like this, just little annoyances here and there that keep me from enjoying the game as much as I could. I'd still recommend it to anyone who's into FPSs, and my 8 score is closer to a 9 than a 7, no doubt.    … Expand

    Smooth as butter and Im a sucker for solid design themes and choices (very reminiscent of its OG style over 2016). I loved Doom 2016 but the controls are revised as they need to be for ultimate carnage.

    Pros - great graphics, game play and story.
    Cons - some battle sequences are long resulting in lack of sleep.

    The campaign it comes with is good in its own right, however, i would not suggest you buy full price if your going to only do campaign, as i did. i personally got it in a really good deal with both skyrim and subnautica all for 50 bucks. but aside from that, very good game.

    A great game for $60 and it is very replayable. The story is just as badass as the Doom Slayer. I played this game on Nightmare and it was refreshing to play a game that was well designed and optimized for fps.

    I have enjoyed all the Doom games, this was no exception. After beating them I always liked using cheats to mess around a bit with. I dislike not being able to use them until after you neat a mish, and Only if you have gathered them previously .

    You could say this game is pretty amazing, I guess. I have not played a good fps game that isn't multiplayer in a while. This game met all my expectations and more and delivered a satisfying experience without having to resort to multiplayer

    I was surprised just how much I enjoyed this, being a huge fan of the old original Doom growing up. Fantastically optimized game that will look phenomenal even on older console hardware. They've done a great job with this one, and I'm actually disappointed I waited so long to play it!

    Get the BASE GAME ONLY. Unless you want to slog through mediocre DLC. Like everyone said gameplay loop is really good and unlike some dumbasses say theres actually many creative ways to kill mobs. The combat tips aren't even the best ways to kill enemies just ignore it.

    Incredibilmente divertente da giocare. Ti richiede di imparare e di abbracciare le nuove meccaniche, ma una volta che lo fai è così soddisfacente giocare. Enormi quantità di divertimento. Ho appena completato il mio primo playthrough su incubo e non vedo l'ora di giocare ai dlc.

    Juego muy sólido. La música es para matar (y lo harás en abundancia). Si es nuevo, al principio se sentirá un poco abrumador, pero lo dominará rápidamente. Es un juego que sin disculpas te hace dominado. Es refrescante sentirse así si juegas juegos competitivos la mayor parte del tiempo. No puedo pensar en muchos protagonistas que sean tan rudos como Doom Slayer.

La direction prise avec l'histoire est bonne, mais peut êtreEn fait, l'un de mes jeux préférés auxquels j'ai jamais joué et il peut encore être amélioré avec de **** changements. La direction prise avec l'histoire est bonne, mais peut être améliorée en définissant davantage Doomguy comme un personnage et en rappelant aux gens pourquoi il est un maître chef fou qui veut tuer tous les démons, certains flashbacks font des événements de Doom 1,2 et 64 aideraient et donnerait également plus de répliques à l'acteur sous-estimé de Doomguy pour montrer à quel point il est capricieux. La valeur de rejouabilité de ce jeu n'est pas portée par le contenu post-jeu simplement par la force de la formule principale, je continue de jouer à tous les niveaux de ce jeu et c'est du dlc encore et encore et cela n'est pas encore ennuyeux. Le jeu est non seulement visuellement incroyable, mais aussi incroyablement bien optimisé pour un jeu de génération actuel (la taille du fichier est d'environ 20 Go de moins que le jeu précédent). La bande originale de ce jeu est vraiment emblématique, qu'il s'agisse de pistes de combat ou de morceaux d'ambiance, il n'y a pas un seul mauvais morceau de musique dans ce jeu, et cela vaut également pour la musique dlc. This is due to the fast combat, the "combat loop" (the ability to use many different weapons for different types of combat, and the jaw-dropping graphics. This game introduced me to its franchise and stays true to its original designs. Good job to id!

    As a child born in late 90s, I've played old iD games (Doom 1993, Doom 2, Quake 2 and Quake 3 Arena). This game is something that made my memories come back. It's fun, gory, fast-paced old school FPS game. Unlike DOOM 2016 it's not that dark atmospheric in-door game, it's more arcady (which I really like). This doesn't mean that I didn't like 2016.

Unlike DOOM 2016 it's not that dark atmospheric in-door game, it's more arcady (which I really like). This doesn't mean that I didn't like 2016.
    Pros: Everything - soundtrack, gameplay, gunplay, jumping sections, YEEThooking, BFG 9k and 10k, resource management via chainsaw, flame belch, glory kills (if you're an ignorant person who doesn't want to adapt to the game and follow it's resource management - don't play it)

    I've only completed the game on the easiest difficulty because I do find it quite challenging. Doom Eternal does such a good job of making everything spectacular. The gunplay? Amazing. The arenas? Always varying and great. The pace? Amazing. Incentive to explore every part of the level? With ammo drops, health/armor pickups, codex entries, collectibles and cheat codes, absolutely. You can really formulate your own playstyle with the weapon variety and weapon mods that are accessible to you.     Compared to DOOM 2016, the combat has definitely been improved and the weapons feel nicer to use. Also, the visuals are absolutely stunning at times. The glory kills are more brutal than 2016, with the addition of a blade as part of the Doomslayer's arsenal and "improved" blood effects. I don't really enjoy that change, but I think the gameplay more than makes up for it.     I played this game and had Quake III Arena flashbacks. You can appreciate what id have done here by merging the classic Doom gameplay with it's hundreds of onscreen demons and mixing it with Quake III-esque maps. Then they've tweaked and balanced the weapons and gameplay systems so that each wave will result in a huge number of satisfying chain kills in an extremely fast-paced and violentI played this game and had Quake III Arena flashbacks.     I remember playing DOOM 2016 when I was younger. Coming back to the DOOM series 5 years later, by playing DOOM Eternal it feels so nostalgic to me, ripping and tearing through demons, I highly recommend this game.

    It's just 20+ hours of absolutely perfected FPS. Don't go in looking for deep character development or an intricate crafting system - all of that would just take away from being a superb FPS.

    I am LOVING this game. I haven't tried multiplayer because the single player is so amazing. I was shocked at how much fun I was having. Soundtrack of heavy metal to go along with the murdering of demonic forces is one of the best combinations ever. Highly, highly recommend!

    Very good game I would recommend to buy it if you think about it just buy it, you will have a lot of fun and the story is good and the gameplay also good so just chill out and buy it.

    Was skeptical at first about the game, but I started playing, then I couldn't stop. It's just so much fun. Lots of secrets to unlock, the battles are super fun. I love it!

    Much higher octane than the last game. Also a lot more brutal, almost to the point of being too hard. Around level 4 or 5 is when it really clicked though. Very worth it.

    I will be honest, i did start on easy unlike everyone else, but to be honest, i would recommend it because if you are mentally slow like me, take awhile to learn new play styles, or just want stress relief through shotgun exorcism, it's fine to go easy. Nobody's judging you.

    As a final note, strangely i got a weird vibe from the boss design that made me think of a lot of styles from past video games, like pre-2013 i think. it was fun to have a game where i didn't have to sneak around or avoid a nuclear rocket powered bullet sponge with a sword the size of Texas. Really helps to feel like a game rather than just dark souls with a shotgun or a political statement.
