    Probably the most fun single player fps campaign out there right now.
    Quick switching and mastering weapon combos and tactics makes the game immensely replayable and in-depth.

    Great game, im finding it much harder than doom 2016 though. i keep getting stuck on parts! otherwise a fast moving action packed game, very enjoyable!

    If you like fast paced shooters that give you incredible feelings of flow, then look no further than Doom Eternal!
    If you're not used to shooters, it can seem a little crazy at times but it is so worth getting used too! Def one of my top games of the last year!

    You have to make use of your chainsaw, glory kill, and flame belch; DO NOT stay still, and switch weapons effectively. It might be a bit of hardcore at the beginning, but once you get the flow of the game, it's all become seamless.     If you like feeling like a complete and udder badass making demons cry at the mere mention of your name, then get this game. However, one thing i must add is even though the game offers a very good challenge on its hardest difficulty, once you beat it you are basically done with the game. Its a one and done type of game however offers a very good experience.

    Ripping and tearing through demons in DOOM Eternal is a great time! The mix of platforming and combat is extremely well done, and I enjoy it a lot! The soundtrack gets you perfectly into the mood for wrenching off the heads of demons and punching through walls, and the overall sound design does a great job overall.

    Instead of just seeing targets, they see priorities. Instead of just dodging, they're thinking about the order of    Contrary to initial impressions, DOOM Eternal is not an action game; it is a puzzle game.     Instead of just seeing targets, they see priorities. Instead of just dodging, they're thinking about the order of their actions, which resources to manage, how to most effectively keep them up, when to engage, when to run, and who to kill first. Every encounter is like a new puzzle to solve.

    Every arena consists of two categories of enemies; fodder, and heavies. Fodder enemies, typically imps, soldiers, and gargyoles, are hardly threats. They have small health pools, make little effort to dodge your attacks, and generally go down in a few small-arms shots. However, they serve a different purpose; they are easy prey to use your various resource-management abilities on. Use a glory kill on one to get health back, use a chainsaw to get ammo, or use the flame belch to get armor. Because these enemies are quick to kill, respawn indefinitely, and pose little threat, they exist not as targets, but as resource nodes to fall back on after running your guns dry, or getting low on health and armor. No; in a given arena, the real threat are the heavies.

    The heavies and super heavies are the real center of an arena. Unlike fodder, they have much larger health pools, more mobility, and generally much more dangerous attacks. The doomslayer's priority on entering any arena is killing the heavies as fast as possible. Doing so is not always so cut and dry; each heavy usually has a unique weakness or strategy to exploit, with which the doomslayer must respond to accordingly: cacodemons can be made to swallow a sticky bomb with precise timing, staggering them instantly; the hell knight has a particular weakness to the chaingun, making him falter more than any other weapon; and the most contentious enemy of all, the marauder, must be fought one-on-one in a very particular manner, countering his attacks and staying at a specific range. Taking all of this into account while fighting the heavies, as well as considering your ammo, health, and armor, and where the nearest fodder enemies are should you need to temporarily retreat and restock, makes up the bulk of the game's combat loop. Mess up once on nightmare, and you're a dead doomslayer.

    That's not to say you don't need a good base in FPS skill to play this game well; actually hitting your targets is just as important as knowing which targets to shoot. That skill floor might put off some less experienced fps players. But if you think you can handle it, the challenge DOOM Eternal presents is well worth it.    … Expand

Best part is you don't need the story to love the game! If your only in for the thrilling cutthroat murder-spree, simply just play the game.     This is a great game and i would suggest it to anyone, it is pretty violent but this is doom what do you expect. over all if you are into FPS games you should get this it is worth all of the money.

    Like DOOM 2016, but way better with more depth. It is also self-aware that it's a videogame and has graphic style more similar to original games. If you like FPS games, this is a must-have. Nothing groundbreaking, nothing new or gimmicky, just amazing gunplay and tons of demons to kill. DLC is fantastic and difficult.     First DOOM I've played, the gunplay in this game is nuts. To be expected, but still quite the experience.

    The game is fantastic. Music is top tier. Combat has been improved since 2016. Lengthy campaign. level design is fantastic and filled with secrets to find. Bosses are pretty challenging. The multiplayer isnt as good but it still can be good with some good friends.

    What epic game highly recommend. i know i don't have a lot of hours on PC version but that's because it kept crashing, but I beat it on PS4 and it worked perfectly fine.

Every arena is a glorified flowchart where you're assessing your ammo, health, and armor reserves at every given moment. Not to mention the dozens of demons that are always in your face, ready to be shot at.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I've been playing Doom Eternal for about a year now, and I can say it has been on of my favourite First Person Shooter games of all time. The music is quite amazing, and the combat is a blast. The game takes the combat from Doom 2016, and fixes a lot of the problems, like how in 2016 you could just rely on the SSG, and you barely needed to use the chainsaw because you had so much ammunition. Doom Eternal makes some weapons needed to make killing certain enemy types easier, and weapons that didn't get a lot of attention (like the plasma rifle) were made better for the player to use. The meathook is a welcome addition to the SSG, and makes getting to places a breeze. My only gripe with the game that stops me from giving it a 100% score is the Unmaykr. There are multiple Slayer gates that you must complete to get the weapon, but the unmaykr isn't very useful, and you're better off using the BFG instead. It is a bit more useful in the DLC though… Expand

    Easily the best single player FPS ever invented. Throwing cover out the window and heavily embracing a brilliant system where you gain health by killing enemies... I have never had my heart race with such intensity while gaming. Each kill animation is a delight to watch. This is my 2nd time purchasing DOOM ETERNAL (I had it originally on ps4) and its so much tastier on pc. DAMN WHAT A SPICE!

    Over the top yet strategic action with great weapons, music that gets you in the zone, ultra detailed and thoughtful demonic/futuristic/medieval environments with lots of secrets. Puzzles and platforming to breaks everything up nicely. It's just insane how good this game is.

Lo único de lo que puedo decir que carece es de una historia más definida, llega un momento en el que sentí que estaba matando por matar a pesar de que realmente tienes un objetivo no entran en una historia detallada que haga que te mantengasEl juego en general es muy bueno, mucha acción, mucho entretenimiento y sobre todo es un juego largo que te va a tener muchas horas pegado a la tv.     If you liked DOOM 2016, then DOOM Eternal is going to satisfy you. There's some slight differences and some new mechanics that make it feel more modern. While I prefer the old school style of DOOM 2016 for the simplicity, Eternal is still an amazing addition to the series.

    A lot of movement and weapon secondary fires remind me of the wonderful UT2K4 gameplay. For me, it doesn't detract from the game at all.
    I know, like I said, the purists may differ in their views. But don't forget, I was with you guys in the early 90's hammering away at Doom on a 486 PC. This is Doom Evolved. This is where it naturally should be after nearly 30 years.
    It's a quality    A lot of movement and weapon secondary fires remind me of the wonderful UT2K4 gameplay. For me, it doesn't detract from the game at all.
    I know, like I said, the purists may differ in their views. But don't forget, I was with you guys in the early 90's hammering away at Doom on a 486 PC. This is Doom Evolved. This is where it naturally should be after nearly 30 years.

    This looks beautiful, it really does and every credit to the devs. 10/10
    Gameplay on the harder skills is tough as nails, you'll be swarmed by enemies and weapon switches can't come fast enough. Bind your weapons properly, it'll be fine, trust me. It reminds me of Serious Sam, Quake, Unreal Tournament 2004 all rolled into one.

    Doom has evolved, it had to, it should do. You can play Doom I, II and Final in ZDoom wirh PSX soundfiles (which I really recommend) and all the 3d graphics glory that your old Voodoo couldnt handle, if you really want to revisit the Doom series. And you should, its worth it. But this? Wow. this is like Unreal Tournament meets Doom 2.

    Purists will say that the difference between this and the original Doom series is so wide that this blurs the boundaries of what game you can call Doom or not. But hear me on this, I DON'T CARE! This game is like Quake and Painkiller both better games than original Doom or **** tier Doom 3.

    There is far more to unravel in Eternal than just "here is gun, make demons go boom". The game requires strategy and reflexes. When you hear that heavy metal music, it's time to fight like hell with both brains and brawn.

Allow me to explain. The combat in Eternal is a rhythm of satisfying executed weapon swapping, dashing, jumping and kills that puts the player in a coordinated mindset to always be on the move, shootingAt first glance you might think the combat is chaotic and all over the place, and truthfully that is how it's going to feel at first because you are just starting to learn "The Doom Dance". Allow me to explain. And this dance will be learned and understood the more you play. Don't let yourself be discouraged. You will get the hang of the visceral nature of Doom Eternal.     It excels at everything the 2016 Doom introduced and pushes that to a highly more adrenaline fuel rush than anything you've experienced before. It's faster, it's bigger and it's more Doom. It's a true blast to play!

    Great DOOM game i love the mobility in eternal so much better then 2016 and the fast paced in your face action makes it very fun to play now if it had a multiplayer like this with some more strafe like q4 and the boost movements and not battle mode the game would be perfect !

    DOOM Eternal has became my favorite shooter of all time. For a game I expected to suck it completely surprised me at how true it was to the original with a mix of quake and painkiller. It was fast paced, intense, had great enemy and weapons variety and a kick-ass soundtrack.

    Everything I loved about the first game carries over here and all the new added features were great additions such as the flamethrower, blood punch, dash, and especially the grapple. The level design also is improved here and the added mobility is great. The story wasn't all that special but the added lore was cool.     This game did it man. The beginning is a bit rough but once you get past that bit it's so enjoyable beginning to the end. I love this game so much and I can't recommend not enough to anybody who loves these high adrenaline games. 10/10
