    I've been playing it for a few weeks now and i think it is amazing, the graphics are top notch,
    great story and the game gives you a emotional touch to the whole thing,
    it's the best Quantic Dreams game yet.

    Masterpiece - I'm not afraid to use that word in this case. Because it's interactive experience much deeper than "just a game". It touches important topics about humanity and our future that are much deeper than it can be seen on the surface as "game about androids". Long essay could be easily written just about the story and important issues that it contains so I skip this part. All I canMasterpiece - I'm not afraid to use that word in this case. Long essay could be easily written just about the story and important issues that it contains so I skip this part. All I can say is that it's very emotional story that touched me deeply. Not often I feel so engaged in the events and fate of protagonist because not many games can develop great story. I played it on 'experienced' level even if I'm new to PS4 controller and I need more time that game allowed me to tap right button but this way it was more challenging and more emotional. Of course, I failed almost completely. Another plus for a game because failing is winning here: you can learn a lesson and try again to success by trying new pathways - game is not boring and allow for many game-plays where you can see events previously not discovered.
    Music is awesome. Three composers matched to character of protagonists plus bonus tracks. It's so nice to hear artists from Detroit like father of Techno Juan Atkins.
    My personal favorite is Kara, her story and soundtrack. I felt in my hands is life of real person not character in the game. Other two stories and characters are inferior. No not at all. All of them are equally great. It's just personal preference to like one character above another.
    Graphics is also really good - nothing that I could complain about, it keeps today's highest standards. Face expressions are great. They doesn't break 4th wall - another achievement.
    Main menu android assistant is also great idea. I'll miss her :)
    It's easy for me to give highest score because it seems that authors of the game share the same view about the world and our civilization/society as me so I felt at home.
    I hope that more games will have such engaging stories and rich characters and I hope that Quantic Dream will bring new awesome game soon.    … Expand

    I were not expect a lot from this game, i even can say that hype from Detroit ade me not really like it even before I started playing. But when i just have played it first - i cant stop till the game ends.
    The gaming process, the graphic, characters - all this was great. The story was not so gorgeus, but rather good too.

    Truly a masterpiece, one of the best story ever written for a video game. It is so rich and complex it takes several runs to explore it. I've been playing video games for more than 30 years and this one touched my soul like no other.

    I loved this game more than either Quantic Dream game that came before it. This was definitely the highest quality product this studio has come out with yet, and in my opinion gave you the greatest connection to your characters than either game before it had. This game really made you feel like you were crafting the story of the game itself as opposed to just following the events and making choices, and this was backed with real threat levels like how early a lot of your characters can die if you're not careful. The story was just absolutely fantastic; so many emotions. Good feels, sad feels, moments of power, moments of weakness, and choices that were so difficult to make I had to pause and just lay back and think about them before making them. This game was more than I ever expected it could be, and I can't wait to add it to my list of Platinum titles. If you've played Heavy Rain, this game will feel like it's true successor. And if you haven't played Heavy Rain or Beyond Two Souls... well, you should haha. But that said, this game stands on it's own without either of the previous titles before it, and is a must play for all PS4 owners. I gave Heavy Rain a near perfect score, but Detroit Become Human surpassed that and became perfection.… Expand

But D:BH really came off as realistic- a hammy line here or there, but it's nothing glaring. The characters are excellent (though I wish the game was longer so they could explore some of them more) and the story was beautiful.

    Like Until Dawn, D:BH does a great job at throwing some unexpected consequences into your butterfly-effect choices. Sometimes the consequences to your choices are predictable, and sometimes they're not. Keeps you on edge and really hoping your characters don't end up dead.

I went from heaven to hell, never getting bored or disappointed by the flow even when I didn't like the consequences since they felt fair from what I had to evaluate. Stunning graphics (with face capture of real actors, not only movements), great characters (you really care about them and they're very charismatic), beautiful soundtrack and a epic and emotional story.     This game was FANTASTIC. i wont give spoilers but it was a movie in a game. with real actors and the graphics were amazing. i got really involved with the characters and i was sad to get to the end as i couldn't get enough.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. i have to admit that the demo didn't really captivate me and i played Detroit become HUman when it was in the Playstation Plus games. finally i would have spent 50€ for the great game. The story and the graphics are just perfect. We play together and sit every evening tied up and overwhelmed in front of the Tv.
    Of course you are bound to processes here and it's not an open world game, but that's not what it's supposed to be, it's a thrilling cinematic story to take part in. Many thanks for the great piece of art !    … Expand

I was never once bored or un interested in anything and I cannot make a single big complaint about anything in this game. I loved every moment

But it's at its    Quantic Dream is following its own way in the video game industry, trying to perfect a difficult gender: the cinematic game. And they are a league on their own with Detroit.

    So the game is amazingly beautiful, easy to play for everybody including non gamers, the story is good and the universe is complex and well crafted with a classic scifi story about futuristic IA. But it's at its core, the construction of the game, the multiple stories, the different endings, that it shines. "Live your own story", how many times we read that on video game boxes. But here promises are fulfilled: your choices will have consequences. But don't worry, every choice is ok and will lead to different outcomes: you will live a great adventure.

I first fell in love with aqua tic Dream games when Heavy Rain was released and didn’t imagine that any of their games could top Heavy Rain, but Detroit: Become Human surpassed Heavy Rain in every possible way. The storyline following all characters is so beautifullyDetroit: Become Human is 100% my favorite game that I have ever experienced. And this game is just that... an EXPERIENCE. I first fell in love with aqua tic Dream games when Heavy Rain was released and didn’t imagine that any of their games could top Heavy Rain, but Detroit: Become Human surpassed Heavy Rain in every possible way. The storyline following all characters is so beautifully played out, the graphics are phenomenal, and it really does give you all of the feels. I got goosebumps multiple times throughout the game, I laughed, and I cried. I finished my first play through in one day and it took me about 10.5 hours, but I didn't aim to find all possible choices to choose from, so I’d say it can probably be a longer game if you do. I came into the game thinking that it would all be ok even on expert mode.I loved the introduction to Connor his mission is challenging,and extremely dark because all endings have someone die I experienced all of them before I could save the kid. But I also love that if you try hard enough (not really) you can get so incredibly close with Lt.Anderson and learn so much because of him and being able to become a Deviant because of your relationship with him saving the Lt. Is totally worth it but you can die saving him.
    Kara's story is more about knowing what to do and who to trust. I loved most of the good characters that Kara meets, Luthor Is such an amazing person and is so kind,and Alice while being picky was ok,I loved Rosa and how much she sacrifices. the theme park was one of the most beautiful parts of the story alongside Connors confrontation with Hank near the bridge ,and Markus' infamous painting secene or the death of his dad.
    Markus' story was about choosing light or darkness,his companions show each side North Darkness,Josh Light,and Simon Neutral.
    Peaceful is the best way to end things,in the almost perfect end Connor confronts the other Connor model and Hank saves him Connor after returning to Markus is being taken over while Markus gives his speech,I wasn't able to save them,My ending for Kara endied with Luthor AND Alice Dead and I decided to keep living as Kara. And once the final cutcene started playing I was already on the floor crying at 3:00 in the morning and stayed that way for at least twenty minutes. In conclusion I would totally recommend this game and it's so close to perfect it is.    … Expand

If u want to enjoy a game that makes u to fell nice after playing, a game that u never forget about, this game is the what game that u actually need to play. I think this game deserves 10/10

    The Game was very fun to play, and the game really makes you think about what choices you need to make to keep everyone alive. I loved the playstyle of the game and how you see the perspective of 3 different androids. I also liked how you can interact with the Android on the main menu. Overall the game was really fun and is like to see more games like this.

    Detroit: Become Human absolutely floored me. I was unprepared for the emotional impact of helping a host of charismatic androids achieve their freedom. I woke up to find Detroit was free on PS4. I started playing around 6 am, and I continued playing well till about 10 pm. There's so much to say about this game but I'll be brief.

    Let yourself believe. Follow the story of these androids as their destinies unfold. It is dramatic and unspeakably heart-wrenching to experience so vividly the lives of others of another time and place. I truly felt for these characters. I was moved by their desires, their experiences, their determination. I was humbled by their hope and was devastated by their sufferings.

    Detriot: Become Human might have unknowingly bridged the gap between cinema, game, and novel. The reviews critiquing the game's writing are thorough and also examine elements that are largely unexpected of a game. The writing, the acting, and the pacing are phenomenal. There are many iconic moments in this game. From Markus' relationship with Carl, from him finding love, from Connor breaking free of his programming, from Kara, Alice, and Luther becoming a family, to the countless other possible endings. I recommend playing your first playthrough as how you believe the character would behave or react. You could also play how you believe you would act. A combination of both is also possible. Either way, be honest and focused on the story Don't eat while your playing, don't be half paying attention scrolling through Twitter, no. Treat this story the way you would treat a movie at a theater that you were dying to go see. Treat this like the first read-through of your favorite book. Treat this like the paintings and photographs hung in galleries. Be focused and attentive. Detroit: Become Human will take care of the rest.

    Eu gostei muito do estilo jogo, muitas escolhas diferentes e isso deixa o jogadores muito pensativos e curioso, eu estou zerando pela 4x e estou gostando cada vez mais. o menu do Detroit é muito bonito e inteligente e os extras sao legais como as pesquisas que sao mt real. Minha Nota para o Detroit é de 10,0e tudo os graficos sao muito lindos, o jogo é nota 10.

I was hooked from the off by the gripping storyline and the characters were created so well that you feel every emotion they are going through. Some of my favourite past games have been similar in content to Detroit. The games that have you dying to know whats going to happen next. Pack tissues and have a pillow near by to punch because this is an emotional roller coaster. I don’t think i have it in me to go through the game to explore all that it has to offer. This game triggered me really bad in a way i could not see coming. I love the characters. IWooooo! What a ride!     So, word out there curious about this “game”, choose wisely. You can always come back and redo the choices if you’re not satisfied but you can not take back the emotions once you mess up. It sticks with you. I got mostly happy...ish endings on my characters except one. That one wasn’t satisfying either. I’m in the process of redoing it but then i’ve gotta go through the endings again and i’m not looking forward to all the emotions flooding back. The first wave was enough without the tsunami. Definitely worth paying full price or at least $30. I got it free and i feel guilty that i got it free. Thanks playstation plus, but i really should’ve paid for this out of pocket instead of part of my yearly subscription.    … Expand

    One playthrough, you can successfully save the Androids from extinction through peaceful means and all the main characters and their friends survive.

    In the next playthrough, you can decide to do the exact opposite, and stop the Android rebellion from saving the imprisoned Androids through their murderous ways, which results in everyone up to that point on the Deviant leader's side to die.    … Expand

This game literally astounded me with its story telling at certain points. At the beginning I was pulled in by the characters for their stories and what was going on with them, Connor, the top of the line android built to hunt his own kind, slowly turning to those he meant to hunt, Kara, an android that became a mother to a child, but most powerful of all, Markus l, someone who's story at the beginning seemed relatively small, but them you realise that this is the man to change the world. With the choices I follewed the best scene of the game came when Markus stood his grind again impossible odds (which I won't speak of due to spoilers, but the sheer emotion and power behind this scene left me breathless) and the game continues this way till the end.     I bought a PlayStation just for this game, I definitely ain’t rich either; that’s just how much I was invested in playing it after seeing a few youtubers playing it - Detroit become human is simply marvellous, something I’ll never forget playing & I can’t wait to see more of games like this in the future!

    As a cinematic games enthusiastic, I loved every single bit of it.
    The game has stunning graphics and visual appeal.
    The story and the choices you make are so dynamic that you'll be caught off guard a lot of times.
    A must play if you like Sony first party games and any narrative driven games.

    From the first seconds to the last, I felt in place of the characters. The atmosphere in the game kept me in suspense of the whole gameplay. Musical companionship in the game is the main reason why I fell in love with DBH. All characters are unique. I really loved Kara and Alice. I saw how maternal instincts appeared in her (damn, this is very cute). I was very worried about them (I didFrom the first seconds to the last, I felt in place of the characters. As soon as I saw the trailer on E3, I realized that Connor is my favorite character. The visual component of the game at altitude. When I played, I did not distinguish reality from the game ....

    The story are soo good and real( no gun who appears from nothing like Rambo).
    living in the fear to fail. In the question of morality.

    But..the reality: one day, this will happen and we will have to deal with it.

    I always wanted to be a cops.. soo this game was really immersive. How Would I deal with it?

    Well, I'm not a huge fan of single player games, but I got it as a bundle with PS4, i've tried it out-one of the best experience I ever had. Absolutely diving deep story, it often calls to your emotions

    The characters are well thought out: Connor, Markus and some of the NPCs stealing the show. Lara’s character and plot is a little irritating on the second play through (and beyond), but that is simply because she has less dimensions than the two male leads. It doesn’t help that her plot is not intrinsic to the overarching story, where Markus and Connor’s are. She carries the ‘civilian’ experience of a civil war, so while her journey is emotional, it’s not for everyone. I found her story to bring the enjoyment of the game down. For what it’s worth, I found Connor and Markus’ scenes much more enjoyable, with an emotive experience, and Connor’s plot definitely trumps the whole experience. All in, an excellent game. I’m on my fifth play through and I still have a good 30-40% of gameplay still left to view.    … Expand

    Amazing game... the story is so emotional and dramatic, I cried several times! All the characters are likable, and the graphics are amazing. The best feature of this game of course is the fact that your actions have consequences, and I played through the game a good 6 times to try out different paths and outcomes and wasn't disappointed... it was the best game of the year 2018 for me!

    Non vedevo l'ora di gustare Detroit dopo gli ottimi Heavy Rain e Beyond. Supera addirittura le mie aspettative. Ottimo sotto molti aspetti, emozionante e con una grafica superlativa. Fresco di platino, la quale ricerca mi ha permesso di vedere molti epiloghi profondamente diversi fra loro e comunque non tutti. Tra i migliori titoli Ps4

    Amazing game , graphics and story. The story was so exciting that I felt nervous after completing story , all your changes metter , you can kill all character at first hour of game or you can complete story without any kills , I really recommend this game.

I am doing this because epic games does not have a user review section and I am aware that this game is getting hate reviews for some ps4 to pc transition problems. THIS GAME IS AMAZING. It's been a while since I got to play a decision based game. Unlike, TellTale games, Detroit Become Human actually makes a story that changes as you build it to be. I would study Asimov, google things to make decisions that a machine would make. Questions like "If two humans are fighting each other. Who do you listen to?" The characters really portray what you want it to be and I am very satisfied with my ending.

    I do regret not holding Alice as Kara at Jericho, but I did that because my motivation of Kara saving Alice in the first place was because she was a human child. Spoilers so I won't talk more.    … Expand

    An incredible adventure that gives you the creeps. A strong story that, if passed correctly, can evoke strong emotions. Huge plot forks, the smallest details that significantly affect the ending of the story. I have only positive impressions about this game. Perfectly.

    Detroit: Become Human delivers a story with a ton of possible choices, and a lot of questions for a player to bear afterward. If you like it when games make you think about them after you play them, this is the game for you. Stunning visuals and music score, make you forget about some weaker points of the game. But all in all, it is an enjoyable experience you should not miss.

While it’s commendable that Quantic Dream tried to cover hot-button issues in a big-budget video game, it works better when focused on the personal character moments than the bigger themes that don’t dig deep enough to make a meaningful impact.
