Oct 28, 2014Honestly disappointed. Fun at first but too repetitive and self progression is very slow. Only thing solid and refined is the gunplay and graphics. Extremely overhyped game, I'd pay 25 bucks for it is about it

Oct 28, 2014Everything might not be as perfect as we had hoped, but at least Bungie tried something different. In the future, competitors in the FPS genre will be assuredly be trying to lift some of the ideas from Destiny to add some mmo-ness into their own games.

Oct 28, 2014Destiny can be boring, fun, repetitive and hard (in a good way) to get loot (Level 21 Hunter still haven't got a legendary gun or armor besides a cloak) The game is not a 10/10 or a zero it's fun but boring at times the game is a 7/10 without friends and 8/10 with friends imo

Oct 26, 2014This game is amazing. Haven't played a game this well designed in ages. Recommend it to everyone who likes shooters and loot games. Absolutely love it.

Oct 26, 2014Addicting but flawed to hell and back. They might as well have not included a story, it's incredibly weak. Server errors happen way too often causing disconnects. Other than that the mechanics are excellent and you can appreciate the work that went into the design.

Oct 26, 2014Destiny is a hugely ambitious game and with that it is also hugely flawed. Though going through story missions and raids with a team of friends provides a bit of entertainment, the loot system bogs it down heavily, making playing Destiny past level 20 a maddening chore.

Oct 25, 2014Just another over-hyped under performing game. Pathetic amount of content for co-op and no multiplayer balance whatsoever. Activision has also made the DLC and sold it as a part of the game (some people have glitched into it) which means that they sold half a game anyways.

Oct 24, 2014Just there. It's not a bad game and for some reason I keep going back to it just pushing a bit further, but none of the expectations I had for this game were met. Single player missions felt repetitive and the story still does not make any sense.
On the other hand, strikes are enjoyable and raids are challenging. And while we wait for the big November releases, this is an ok option. -

Nov 25, 2014Although Destiny isn't the brilliant start to a franchise that many had hoped for, it's a great game for those who can push through its flaws and enjoy the ride.

Edge MagazineNov 5, 2014What is most amazing of all is that despite its litany of weird little problems, Destiny is fantastic, its combat up there with the very best, the thrilling rhythm of its battles still not fading the 30th time through, and it has no single systemic problem that is not fixable. Pelit (Finland)Oct 25, 2014Destiny is a flawed but still extremely fun first person shooter. While the Destiny universe itself seems intriguing, the storyline is told in such an incoherent manner that it's hard not to be turned off by all the technobabble. Fortunately the co-op shooter mechanics are absolutely perfect. The loot system can be maddening, but in a way it adds to the game's addictiveness. [Oct 2014]
