    Preordered destiny 2 for $120 with the season pass when it first came out. It said it included 4 expansions in the season pass ended up only getting 2 expansions despite what the preorder said and every other expansion after that bungie wants to charge the price of a full game for each new expansion. What happened to just making great games for when they release? I know I won’t be wasting anymore money on buying a ps5 or all these trash overhyped games they make these days. They all suck, I would be happy to pull out the n64 again and play those games that are actually fun.… Expand

    Used to enjoy playing Destiny (1 & then 2) daily, until I had a break from it. More important things got in the way than gaming.
    Coming back to it was a costly nightmare of PlayStation Plus subs, 2 expensive DLC addons and grinding just to catch up with my old team.
    Destiny is only value for money for enthusiasts who have plenty of time at disposal for one particular game and a couple of    Used to enjoy playing Destiny (1 & then 2) daily, until I had a break from it. More important things got in the way than gaming.
    Coming back to it was a costly nightmare of PlayStation Plus subs, 2 expensive DLC addons and grinding just to catch up with my old team.
    Destiny is only value for money for enthusiasts who have plenty of time at disposal for one particular game and a couple of friends who play it also.

    Boring combat, confusing system and frankly illegal paywall setup to maximise profit over consumer.
    I've poured maybe 50 hours of repetitive gameplay into this with 0 growth as I refuse (and frankly don't understand) how to use their billing system as everything seems to have 4 or more separate charges to work!

    Fun for a while. Gunplay is solid and carries a good chunk of the experience, but characters are forgettable, loot feels meaningless, campaign is barely coherent, and only one mission really stands out in set and art design. Some worlds feel fun to play around in, others feel like largely barren wastelands.

    Bungie's follow up to the glorious Halo series was clearly developed as an online multiplayer experience...and it shows. The solo campaign although beautifully presented never really has the structure or narrative of a true single player game.     Don't know why people hate this game so much. It is a great game and unlike Fortnite and other MMO Shooters, You rarely get toxic people on here. Yes some storyline stuff is kinda bland but if you knew Anything about the hereos arc, which by the way is used in every story made since the beginning of storytelling, you'd know that Bungoe has tried their best to be new and inventive with howDon't know why people hate this game so much.     After playing it since 2018 (five years ago) my opinion went from bad to actually amazing. Great gameplay, an intriguing story, excellent characters, and overall, a worthy sequel that arguably even better than the original.

I mean Bungie is coming up with excuses but have you ever seen MMOs do this without properly ensuring previous content is playable (very rarely) even division 1 could still be played. Bungie are just awful developers. One Trick ponies. They can do gameplay that's it.     As for the expansions you can play, well as long as you haven't done forsaken, you can still play it. I couldn't but someone said you could, and if you have only like 3 missions are available (1 per week). just really bad. Shadow keep isn't even worth mentioning i mean that expansion was so weak with content i'm surprised they don't call that the base game. They have amended the base game start to try and compensate but it isn't well done or thought through (typical bungie let's be honest, story threads are not their strongest point). Beyond Light was dull, because - same enemies, same stuff that you've been doing, very little diferrent.

    Witch queen slightly better (filled with the usual mission breaking quests even now in 2023) and "lightfall" the new one is lifeless, again same enemies... although ONE, one new type but not interesting enough to go "yes finally". i mean i'm not sure why this is even still going. DO NOT waste money on this. Don't let bungie keep going.... they make ubisoft and ea blush.    … Expand

    A very boring game, always the same every season, so many bugs, the servers are a disaster, in pve everything is always nerfed, pvp is a disaster no idea what kind of people work at Bungie.

    Loved this game. The combined shooting and movement mechanics are the best I've experienced. But the damn thing won't play on my new ps5 - only on my ps4. I've tried everything, and I'm very, very experienced with tech. The only remaining issue I can imagine is my local broadband provider. Regardless, Bungie provides users virtually zero teach support. In the case of failure, you're downLoved this game. The combined shooting and movement mechanics are the best I've experienced. But the damn thing won't play on my new ps5 - only on my ps4.     The gunplay and classes are great, however that's honestly it. It's just replaying the same content over and over again, pvp is a joke and the pve content locks you into requiring a squad which is super boring cause they just use whatever gun/combo instantly melts the boss which makes the devs have to stack the boss with either more HP or a dumb can't get hurt mechanic. Very disappointing.

    Ok if you haven't burned out on the looter-shooter-FPS-RPG genre, but be warned... you must buy expansions or else you can not accurately level past certain points in the game, and every time there is an expansion it's over in about 6 hours.

    I used to love playing Destiny 2 but took a hiatus for a while, I still purchased all the DLC because I knew I would get back into the game. What a **** suprise when the other day I tried carrying on from where I left off and was informed that it's nearly all been Vaulted away. All that money that I put into this game is gone. **** you BUNGIE you Corporate Parasites I want my money BACK!

    It’s really good game but only if you buy all of the dlc But if you reached the end game and done the raids there’s nothing to do, but it’s a game that you’ll have so much fun in it 10/10

    5/10. The concept is there, a coop looter shooter in space with different classes with different abilities and skills. Grinding out to get that gun or armour you want as a reward is something that interests me. However, is executed fairly poorly. Significantly more fun with friends, but costs a trillion dollars to play in full.

    lo que define este juego es simplemente la palabra epico. el lore es lo que mas llamativo en mi opinión, el gameplay no tiene tantos cambios como en otros shooters ya vistos. tiene algunos agujeros de guión como la trama de los dredgens y las cacerías de shin malpur pero aún así es muy interesante y los dlc no se sienten como sacadineros ofrecen contenido variado para el endgame

There is so much to enjoy in this game once you complete the first steps, with many different routes for the player can take: You can play PvP only if you feel that's for you; you can play the story if you want to truly get involved in the lore; and you can play strikes with clanmates or others if you want a teamwork-type environment; or you can enjoy all of these different aspects for a wholesome and enjoyable game The *only* flaw, in my opinion, is the micro-transaction cost and lack of high-level items in the free season pass.

    The game does not have a campaign, you need to buy a DLC to have a story in the game, that is of course true unless fuxking devs delete the DLC for some reason, then you cant play. I was a big fan of Destiny 1, but now all i have is disappointment

    This game is a masterpiece, the best in its genre. Beautiful graphics, mechanics, very good extras. I've never played a better game. The creators of Destiny, Bungie studio is a very talented team, and under sony it will only spread its wings. A wonderful takeover, halo can hide. Microsoft, your punishment is not final.     It was a great game before it became free to play. Then the story was shot to pieces and the treadmill of grind was magnified. To make matters worse the end goals are moved each season and your previous achievements are made worthless.
    Overall if you have never played it it is worth a blast but don’t stay in the game for more than one season as the rests take away any worth.

Apesar do jogo ter sido destruído em 2020 por ganância da Bungie, seu período de 2017 à 2019 foi a verdadeira "Era Dourada". O jogo possui a melhor jogabilidade para um FPS que já vi, com mecânicas simples e viciantes que te faz aprender rápido a como ser um completo "Deus" no jogo, onde vou a matar inimigos que sinto que são mais fracos do que o meu personagem. Além disso tudo, a história com lore nesse jogo é uma das mais completas que existem, acrescenta uma atmosfera pós-apocalíptica um tanto inovadora, onde dessa vez não estamos tentando sobreviver com limitações, e sim somos apoiados por um Deus cósmico para retomar tudo que foi tirado dos humanos na história. Nisso, o jogo era maravilhoso, até mesmo na presença de expansões com preços abusivos, mas ainda assim tinham alguns problemas, como a queda de quadros em algumas atividades ou em combo de super com outros jogadores, além da falta de conteúdo inicial para quem não comprava as expansões e o grande Crisol que está mais para um PVP repetitivo que se vê em qualquer jogo. Dito isso tudo, é um jogo que ficará marcado na minha vida para sempre!… Expand

Bungie does listen to feedback but the changes are related to in game complaints such as nerfs to weapons/gear, subclasses, and cheating in competitive game modes. The changes that I desire are more exotic questlines, secret dungeons, and community events. They have done these during (Black armory and Season of the Dawn) 2018-2019, and never revisited the following content. During the first 2 years of Destiny 2 raids often released having 6 raids total. Currently Bungie is releasing a frequency of 1 raid per year, and now releasing raids in form of legacy raids that contain minor changes to mechanics. It is very difficult to bring friends or new time players to the game since a lot of their content is paywalled, and vaulted. After spending 7 years playing Destiny, and I grow weary of this game's current path. Right now I do recommend to wait as Bungie is currently planning changes during the Witch Queen Expansion year of 2022.… Expand

    I did enjoy the game but it didn’t keep my attention during expansions where the emphasis of the massive multiplayer experience was lack greeted and most notably given lesser relief.

    I am not a big fan of multiplayer games or games that require a continuous internet connection to play, i.e. those that have a social component. I like to play alone, or if it's in company, I like it to be local, to be with me in the room, each with their own controller.     Alas, any goodwill Bungie created with its Destiny 1 fanbase was comprehensively destroyed in 2020-21 by an apparently indecisive, devil-may-care, 'we have your money now so we don't give a flying f**k' attitude. In detail, Bungie single-handedly ruined the entire PVE side of the game with weapon sunsetting and content vaulting. This generated a situation whereby the most devoted of long-term Destiny players were forced to re-purchase the same content they'd previously paid for, over and over, while other relatively recent paid-for content was mercilessly taken away. At the same time, weapons, armour, and other exotic items that players had spent months or even years grinding and perfecting were summarily confiscated from players, leaving them with a lacklustre, malfunctioning sandbox devoid of new weapons and items that should have filled the vacuum but never arrived.

    Despite massive online backlash that caused even Bungie themselves to publicly concede that they wouldn't ever dare sunset again, the damage was never undone! So in true doublespeak fashion, despite Bungie publicly admitting it had made a mistake, all players who lost their hard-earned product of hundreds of hours of gaming STILL never received them back again! To make matters even worse, Bungie then poured gasoline on the fire already incinerating what was left of the relationships it held with its player base by re-introducing old weapons and armour that had been previously confiscated, and forcing players to re-acquire and re-grind god rolls on them all over again!

    Unsurprisingly, players left in their thousands and never came back, some of whom had played the game for as far back as the Destiny 1 beta seven long years ago.

    Simultaneously, cheaters were permitted to run rife within the PVP side of the game to such an extent that all free-to-play PVP has been rendered generally unplayable. Blatant aimbot, invulnerability, limitless ammo, hyperspeed, x-ray vision, and other god-mode software and hardware-based cheats were permitted to infect most PVP modes, right up to and including the pinnacle of Destiny 2 PVP - the Trials of Osiris. This combined with Bungie's clumsy use of a new guardian ability, 'stasis', as a means to force players to purchase the latest DLC at the time, turned the non-cheating miserable leftovers of PVP into a complete farce. The stasis ability is still so, SO overpowered that it continues to ruin the game for players even today. In short, the choice is to either use stasis builds on all your three characters, all of the time, or lose every PVP match you start.

    Destiny 2 is yet another sad case study in how humankind has failed to evolve beyond money, and therefore witnesses the profit motive ruin most aspects of life on an almost minute-by-minute basis. Play it only if you can time-travel back to 2014, and plan to cease playing in 2019.

    In all, the Destiny and Destiny 2 gaming experience suggests that Bungie is no longer a game developer you should entrust your time or your money to unless you're content to give up both for nothing in return.    … Expand

    In the current state of the game, and overall im enjoying it a lot. Content is fun, drip feed is ok. But it is very repetitive at times and can lead to a lot of boredom. To experience most of the game you have to pay for the season pass each month since that’s where all the content is. If your not paying for dlc and season pass then you won’t have a good time.     A good game, but needs fixes. The story is good, and so are the graphics and gameplay. The newer areas were all detailed and awesome. The downside are the weapons and armor. They feel either underpowered or overpowered, and are too hard to get. It makes a good game not as good as it could be if it was fixed.

    Bungie allows people who pay extra to get devastating weapons like Dead Man's Tale that can easily kill and frustrated players who do not desire or are unable to pay for this upgrade.

    They also add inherent class abilities available to anyone who pays, such as in The Beyond Light expansion with the ability to completely freeze other players.

    Not being able to move AT ALL is a huge advantage and makes the game unplayable. It's frustrating to have such huge disadvantages ADDED to the base game which can not be overcome unless you pay more money. If you have already paid money for Destiny 2, you should not be forced to pay more to compete effectively.

    Either every PVP player should get all new the abilities and have the potential to access all new weapons, OR players should only play with people with the same abilities and weapons, OR give us our money back.

    I can no longer play comfortably as I could when I originally bought the game, and changing the effectiveness of people who pay to make it easier for them and harder for those who don't is a very fraudulent and reprehensible act.    … Expand

    Since the new DLC arrived, most of the old content has been removed. The base game barely have anything to do anymore. You have to pay for DLC to PLAY the actual game. This is absolutely disgusting. Oh and with all the DLC purchased, the game is not good. It's hundreds and hundreds of hours of grinding repetitive quest.     While I have played this game into oblivion, I find that the yearly charge (which cost as much as a new game every time) is getting to be too much. I hope they find a way to continue expanding this game, but at a much lower cost to the consumer. Gameplay wise, it’s always been pretty good, but story wise it’s mostly been lackluster other than forsaken.

    I don’t know why I bought this to be honest. I guess I just hoped it would be like when the first destiny launched. It just felt like a dlc, just the same thing, basically no story and way to grindy for such a small reward. I am officially retiring from this franchise.

    The sequel turned out better, but for me only an infusion from the first part. Now the graphics look really good and the content is right. But from the gameplay it's just the old warmed up soup. Nobody needs or wants that.

    Um dia, muito cedo, o patinho feio foi acordado por vozes de crianças.
    - Olha! Um recém-chegado! Gritou uma das crianças. Todas as outras crianças davam gritos de alegria.
    - E é tão bonito! Dizia outra.
    Bonito?... De quem estarão a falar? Pensou o patinho feio.
    De repente, o patinho feio viu que todos olhavam para ele e, ao ver o seu reflexo na água, viu um grande e elegante cisne.
    - Oh!... Exclama o patinho admirado. Crianças e outros cisnes admiravam a sua beleza e cumprimentavam-no alegremente.

    Afinal ele não era um patinho feio mas um belo e jovem cisne!

    Vanilla Destiny 2 is similar to Vanilla Destiny 1. Good gameplay, good graphics. Bad story, bad characters. Destiny 1 didn't had story and characters tho, so this is an upgrade over the first one.

    The game constantly changes. IT is fun, and takes more of my time than any game ever. That said its impossible to score. There are seasons and times taht are like 5/10 and other times that are 9/10, It is fun but they make some very suspect choices

    O melhor RPG que já joguei em toda a minha vida simplesmente porque é FPS, sério, a Bungie é a criadora das melhores ideias, realmente amei esse jogo tão melhor quanto o primeiro, e já faz anos que estou jogando, viciei por completo.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. With Bungie taking Destiny 2 and with us all going into a new era of Destiny, i think it is time to do my review now. Okay so lets begin with the story. Now I know that Destiny’s in game story is not really anything special and the real story is online in the grimoire system or now in the collections tab for the lore section but I must say I really liked how the cabal destroyed the tower and took the traveler with our powers. Although i must say that the character development and the way the characters act and talk are beautiful. Cayde-6 is still my favorite character in the Destiny franchise due to his attitude towards everything and how he’s a joker/comedian. The weapon system and armor system at first was okay but now as i’m making this review it has became much better. I REALLY loved how they added random rolls back to which give tons and tons of replay value to certain events. Okay so now with the end game content. At first you had the nightfall and the Leviathan Raid which was okay for awhile but got boring/repetitive. Now we have tons of raids to which i think the number is 5/6, we also have now many different types of Nightfall which is nice and pretty cool if you ask me. We also now have a new activity called Nightmares to which have certain guns/rolls to which is REALLY cool but VERY challenging if your not high enough of power. The final thing that i would add is how the exploration on the worlds have been upgraded AMAZINGLY compared to the last game and the same thing can be said about the public events too. However, I will say that the everversce store is packed with goodies but sadly you need silver to which you can ONLY get from spending real money but they are fixing it as I'm making this review. All in all, this game is basically a slight downgrade in my opinion from the first game but it doesn’t do a bad job as being a sequel to the franchise but I personally prefer the first game.… Expand

It’s still full of new things that I’ve yet to discover. There is tons of exclusive content that is time sensitive. But overall it’s the community that makes it amazing.     Piece of crap game. Do not download even if it is free. Tried it for a few hours and I've never been so frustrated or quick to delete a game. Cant communicate with other players, can't jump high enough to even get to the next section of a strike. This game also gives you no information. Back to ESO i go.

    As of 7/14/2020 I say this game is very fun and enjoyable to play. Yes, Bungie has made so controversial decisions but overall, I think it has very good gameplay. I enjoy all of the game modes it has to offer and love raiding with friends. It's not perfect but I think it is very enjoyable.

    I didn't have many friends who played Destiny so getting good gear in the first was hard especially since people didn't want to raid with those with no experience when those (like myself wanted to know). So the fact that I could get better gear in Destiny 2 without the reliance on raids was nice.

    However, Destiny 2 feels more like Destiny 1.5 than a sequel. While the gameplay and music    I didn't have many friends who played Destiny so getting good gear in the first was hard especially since people didn't want to raid with those with no experience when those (like myself wanted to know). So the fact that I could get better gear in Destiny 2 without the reliance on raids was nice.

    However, Destiny 2 feels more like Destiny 1.5 than a sequel. While the gameplay and music still hold fairly well, and the worlds to explore still hold some beauty and awe to them, the empty characters and non-existent story makes it hard to enjoy the game, despite being a multiplayer focussed one.
    If there isn't any intrigue to the universe that you're looting and shooting in then what's the point in the grinding for gear if all you're getting is pretentious storylines and mediocre action.    … Expand

    Very nice free game. Story strangely dragging you yet gameplay sometimes seems reppetetive. I like competetive aspect of the game and cooperative side of raids.

    I spent nearly 600 hours in this game and still have a lot of things I never done. Community tends to cry and be toxic around "omg so many grind" but its a looter shooter. Game is literally about grind. And there is 5 story campaigns(2 big and 3 small), around 5 raids, 3 dungeons, a lot of pvp regimes(lol) and just tons of fun.

    Nunca joguei o primeiro Destiny, e já sei das suas criticas negativas. Ao jogar Destiny 2, parece mudou do anteriormente e tá ficando fantástico! Seria perfeito que liberasse todas expansões gratuitas.

    unfisnished game, should just finished all the content before releasing. Hate the micro tran too. while the scenery and gunplay is not bad at teh same time.

    Destiny 2, for the first year, was horrible. Simply horrible. Now, it's in a good place. While the lore has been massively altered, the mechanics are better.

New players don't even experience the advertised story unless they are willing to waste their time doing filler missions.

    Gameplay: You jump, you shoot, you pick up stuff. And it's all incredibly underwhelming.

    Characters: Bungie tries to make an MMO, yet is too lazy to make memorable characters or NPC's, The game is as wide as an ocean, but as deep as a puddle. Not a single character is worth listening to.

    I bought the game for 4 Euro's, but i still would have rather spend it on something else. I've had a terrible experience with this game, forcing myself through it. This is not a game, it's a complete joke. I give it a 3/10, it is terrible!    … Expand

    Good gunplay and nice graphics but no depth in skills, laggy, didnt have much orientation due to weird UI, nearly no interaction with other players, no Motivation to keep grinding. Was fun for 3 hours and then got boring because of long loading times and repetitive gameplay. (Season 10 review)

The game is a ridiculous grind forcing you to do activities that are frustrating and tedious this game is the biggest waist of money I have ever invested in. Bungie has completely lost there way.     Eververse, reduced EXP gain (relevant to Eververse), Raid Revive Tokens, recycled contents (i.e. Shadow Keep), chopping content into pieces and releasing them as 'fresh new' for Destiny 2 (Machine Gun, Crucible Game Modes, etc), corporate language bullsh*t ('We are going to do better.'), and more.

    A very fun game, however once you reach max level it is hard to find a group or clan that will run with you for the things you need

    Juego interesante, que entretiene y su duración es aceptable, hecho en falta menús mas intuitivos, te pierdes a la hora de querer empezar a jugar, deben mejorar eso.

    Even if Bungie backtracks on some of these horrendous missteps, there’s evidence that the dev team is either flailing around without a clear idea of the experience they want to present, or even worse, they’re happy to offer the least amount of mediocre content possible until the player base starts pushing back. When free-to-play titles like Warframe and Let it Die seem monumentally more generous and offer vastly more entertainment value than a triple-A sixty dollar release built with a budget large enough to feed whole continents, it’s clear that something has gone horribly wrong.

    It’s this sense of streamlined player experience that really defines Destiny 2. Where the first game had you grinding for hours just to experience increasingly diminishing returns, this is a sequel that trims away its processor’s frustrations, firmly putting fun first.

    Destiny 2 is tough to compare to other shooters or games, but it is evidently a better title than part 1. The campaign is longer, the progression makes more sense, the structure is more satisfying and the sheen and splendor on the various planets entices even more. Destiny is comparable with its predecessor after the add-on The Taken King, and is therefore a more solid foundation for the coming months of content.
