    This game is absolutely amazing. I've read some other reviews and have come to the conclusion that whoever gave poor reviews is a casual gamer. If you are casual then dont buy this but if you are a true gamer then you will love it.

    So beautiful game, I really enjoy playing this product of Kojima Production, this game isn’t for everyone, some people want action and gameplay with shooting, killing, so they want movement in games. Death stranding is about moving, but not in our usual understanding. Maybe this game relate to elitist culture, for certain group of people. Not everyone likes this game, but for Kojima’s fansSo beautiful game, I really enjoy playing this product of Kojima Production, this game isn’t for everyone, some people want action and gameplay with shooting, killing, so they want movement in games.     Every encounter with the BTs is something.
    Every delivery is planning and thinking about the way.
    Norman Reedus, Lea Seydoux, Mads Mikkelsen and others - it's just some kind of dream!
    The game gives a completely different experience than the games of the generation of popcorn.
    I never regretted it when I bought it, and my expectation since 2016 was fully justified.
    I advise everyone to dive into it.

    It’s the most relaxing video game that I’ve ever played. Reminds me of riding my horse around the map in rdr2. I love it, but the whole game is walking around a beautiful map so it might not be for everyone

    I will not write extended review at this time maybe i will come back later.. but game is just amazing,.. and i can see what kojima had in mind with making a game like this. Perfection. I play on PS4 Pro and not a single bug, crash or stutter. Optimized to its finest.

    if you are the most boring person on earth, death stranding might be a boring game to you. if you have a creative bone in your body, you recognize it for what it is: an excellent sandbox game that wants you to take your time with it. Protip: try doing something other than a storyline quest.

    Складывается ощущение что низкие оценки, за скучный геймплей, ставят люди не прошедшие дальше 1 главы. Можно сказать что первые 10 часов а то и больше игры - это только обучение. Все проработано настолько детально, что порой офигеваешь от всего. Течение рек, ветер, перемещение по горам, а усталость героя это что то с чем то, я вчера 30 минут искал где перейти реку, так как герой былСкладывается ощущение что низкие оценки, за скучный геймплей, ставят люди не прошедшие дальше 1 главы. Можно сказать что первые 10 часов а то и больше игры - это только обучение. Все проработано настолько детально, что порой офигеваешь от всего. Течение рек, ветер, перемещение по горам, а усталость героя это что то с чем то, я вчера 30 минут искал где перейти реку, так как герой был максимально измотан и валился с ног мгновенно. Отдельного внимания заслуживает балансировка грузов.
    Это игра - в которую должен сыграть каждый уважающий себя геймер, и не пару часов, а как писал выше 10+ часов. И вынести свой вердикт по игре.    … Expand

From the beautiful visuals, to the incredible sound track, to the all star cast...this game has it all in spades. Yes it requires some patience but it’s so worthwhile to keep at it as you’ll be rewarded.     Honestly, I felt very boring when playing the first chapter. But after getting more equipments and knowing the story, I just noticed that I'd totally addicted to the game!

    Today I just finished all the chapters. It's a very good game, worth to play it for sure.

В игре прекрасно все, актерская игра выше всяких похвал, графическая составляющая для заката поколения консолей просто идеальна, минимальное количество технических проблем на релизе (Да, сейчас это важно, вспомните все ААА проекты вышедшие в этом году). Сюжет который действительно можно назвать сюжетом, игра в которую хочется вернуться, отдельное слово можно сказать о шедеврально подобранном саундтреке. Поколению фортнайт и майнкрафта не понять этого.

Bagi aku yang follow game Hodeo Kojima sejak MGS ni pergerakan karektor die memang aku suka. Pada mula main memang rasa pelik sebab die adalah seorang DESPATCH sahaja. Selama aku main ni tak pernah terpikir nak main seorang watak despatch moden dalam Death Stranding ni. Orang yang main game ni kene sabar / byk ulangan activiti (korang kene hanta parcel je keje korang. Untuk yang suke action memanjang / suke menembak2 / nak cepat habis game ni bukan untuk korang.

    Game ni melibatkan strategi untuk hantar parcel tanpa melalui BTs (dlm game ni BTs tu hantu) tanpa melalui porter yang jahat (suke rompak barang). Die juga adalah game kerjasama diantara gamers2 online. Permarkahan adalah berdasarkan kepada 'LIKE' yg korang dapat bile buat aktiviti. yer 'LIKE' first time aku jumpa game guna LIKE sebagai token. Ko hanta ko dapat like dari owner. Rating ko akan naik n ko akan develop skill dari situ.

    The most interesting experience i've had in years really. This game is not for everyone and not because it's too hard to understand, but due to monotone (but detailed!) gameplay. No Let's Play can provide the feeling of playing it

    Best game I have ever played period. Definitely not for everybody. Outstanding graphics, fresh ideas, interesting story and a crazy apocalyptic world. I cannot remember when I have enjoyed any game that much, maybe MGS1, Diablo 2, so really long time ago... Yes I like Kojima and no I wasn't happy with MGSV after the first half.

    This is the best game in the world! The genius lived up to expectations! The plot and the play of the actors is beyond praise. Game mechanics are unique but after 20 hours it may seem monotonous but then you will realize that this is not so. One of the most significant games of the last decade!

    Played it now for a few days and it gets better and better the more you get in the story liking it very much.
    the most cool things i like is the part that you can build bridges roads and leave stuff around for others to help them,

    Absutely amazing Within 4 hours playing everything makes sense The gameplay is perfectly suitable with the story , the graphics are amazing.
    I dont want to go through details but all i can say I didnt regret buying this game and im very satisfied about it !

If Death Stranding was made by anyone else, it would not be the piece of art it is. Of course there are a few things in the game that are different from what we expected, but nothing that will interfereHaters gonna hate, but this game isn't for everyone anyway. Its a masterpiece.     Even tho this game isn't perfect and the gameplay is more about taste (it's absolutely not classical for the industry) it's not deserve all negative 0/10 scores. I do understand about the hype, but I'll overcompensate all the negative from community with 10/10 even if my personal feelings more mixed and about 8/10.

    Give it a try, then judge.

    Kojima god. Its be wonderful .you don't love this game if you pc gamer or if you dont have internet, becouse multiplayer make world intresting and full. Gameplay very intrsting only if you play maximal hard level. Story wonderful , in the end i cry like baby

    Очень волновался, что не понравится, ровно как и с РДР2, но это такие игры, в которых действительно нужно самостоятельно окунуться, погрузиться в эту атмосферу, чудесную музыку, отличную историю и воспользоваться максимальным количеством механик, чтобы действительно оценить её по достоинству. Однако на данный момент я ещё в процессе, осталось где-то 1/3, по впечатлениям, и если говоритьОчень волновался, что не понравится, ровно как и с РДР2, но это такие игры, в которых действительно нужно самостоятельно окунуться, погрузиться в эту атмосферу, чудесную музыку, отличную историю и воспользоваться максимальным количеством механик, чтобы действительно оценить её по достоинству. Однако на данный момент я ещё в процессе, осталось где-то 1/3, по впечатлениям, и если говорить откровенно, я бы выставил 9, но зная, что в конце ждёт какой-то разъ*б, да и о ситуации с намеренным снижением её рейтинга, я просто не мог оставаться в стороне.     Excelente aunque no es para todos, el juego empieza lento pero mientras más y más avances mejora muchísimo en gameplay ya que se desbloquea una gran variedad de artefactos y vehículos, y no se diga la historia junto con el soundtrack, excelente.

If the story is good like in this game i cant get enough of the cut-scenes and i dont know what people expected with this many real life actors. The gameplay is very good and gets better the more you play it. The visuals are top-notch the story is great and unique. I would say the best thing about this game is the overall experience that you get while playing the atmosphere, the music and the story. That's definitely a thing where you can't find in any other game. Quite like this element of the game. Just receiving the notifications that you're getting likes for the tools/structures you've built on the map, sings you left for the other players, the roads that you've helped build gives you very pleasant feeling and you want more of that that's why you keep helping the others out :) I'm very glad Kojima did that game. That's coming form not a Kojima fan boy. I've only played the 5th installment in the Metal Gear Solid series and i like Death Stranding way more.

    If i could change something in that game that would be to probably make it a little bit more harder. I'm playing on Hard and i think that the whole world can be a bit more challenging. Also would be nice if Kojima threw in the mix some random events like on Days Gone

Потом постепенно тебе предоставляют инструменты что бы как раз убрать эту монотонную ходьбу или как-то ееНаиграл пока что около 2 часов. Потом постепенно тебе предоставляют инструменты что бы как раз убрать эту монотонную ходьбу или как-то ее развлечь - твари, МУЛы, транспортные средства, различные постройки которые ты можешь делать сам или помочь другим игрокам. Это все во-первых убирает тот самый "симулятор ходьбы", а во-вторых делает ту самую ходьбу своеобразным этапом игры который приятно проходить.
    Что касается сюжета - пока что вообще нет никаких нареканий, все очень логично и я не нахожу никаких противоречий. Те же убийства людей, которые нельзя совершать, очень хорошо объясняются игровой вселенной. Мне кажется еще и поэтому ставят негативные отзывы, потому что в этой игре не 90% контента это перестрелки или убийства. Здесь есть место и для драк и для стелса, но это все не есть основные игровые механики а скорее дополнение к основному сюжету. Да, согласен что большая часть игры это доставка грузов, я так же согласен что эта игра не для всех, но называть ее плохой и ставить плохие оценки это просто тупо. Это то же самое как например ММО с фокусом на гринд или какие-то карточные игры типа хартстоуна - все эти игры на любителя, но это не означает что они плохие.    … Expand

    I, for one don't really like action games, but I have to say this game gives you action if you want to have it. [spoiler] If you want to play stealth, you play it. If you want to fight the BTs, you fight them. The game gives you the info/tools to do both if you wish. [/spoiler] . After chapter 3, things get rough, so only the beginning is slow.
    I don't think it's fair to give a game a bad review only after a few hours of playing.

Some chapters have a high level action and break the game progress. The story is good, but is confused and it will be reveled in the game end.

    Death Stranding is a great game. It's a different game, a creative game that we didn't see in years, escaping from the generic sequence: Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, Far Cry, Halo, Forza, Need For Speed, also GTA's clones and many shooter battle royalle clones.    … Expand

    I have never played MGS, I couldn't care less about the creator, this has nothing to do with "fanboying" : got thrilled with the E3 trailers, now I'm 50 hours in and I absolutely love it. The game is amazing.    I may have rated it a little bit lower but I just had to compensate for some who obviously haven't played the game and just got mad at the hype and before-release gameplay footage.

The game is amazing. Of course, it is not an action / shooting rpg game, you won't expect to grab a gun and take down 30 ennemies all by yourself (though you can do that but you'll likely lose, and there are some action chapters in a setting that hit right in the gut. You don't kill mindlessly as in most game nowadays, the game is made so that you feel how it is to take or save one's life and most guns are non-lethal).

    Some +/- points:

    + The story is intriguing and the characters are charismatic yet flawed. It takes time to understand all of it but it gradually makes more and more sense. Some of it is artistically absurd, so if you usually enjoy this kind of things in literature or cinema, you'll be pleased.

    + The gameplay is actually pretty diverse, this is not a "walking simulator". Sure you walk, as in any other game really, but you have to take account of many factors, and there are dynamics that takes from horror games, stealth games, action games, management games and so on. The difficulty is well balanced as well.

    + The social system is innovative, feels great, and is well thought. It could have been so much worse : at first, I feared that other people's constructions would ruin the feeling of the game, the loneliness that you are supposed to feel. In fact, when you first get in a zone and didn't connect it yet, there are no sign of other player, the world is almost vanilla and it feels hard to get anywhere. Then you connect it and suddenly everything is less lonely, easier. It uses servers I believe, so there's not too much of it either, and it deteriorates with time. And it is so positive. You get to enjoy positively other people presence yet no one can disturb your journey. If you don't like to socialize with people but don't like feeling lonely for too long, you are gonna LOVE it.

    + The graphics are amazing, the landscape feel so natural but I never, not even once, felt it was "all the same". They did a really good job. You can feel there's a mood, an ambiance, especially when it starts raining or snowing or whatever. You feel loneliness, tension, relief. That game truly makes you feel things.

    + The sound design and musics are 10/10. I wish music could come more often, sadly it only follows the story, and basic deliveries will most likely be in complete silence, with the sounds of nature, wind, the river flowing. You can put music in some safe places though, which makes them feel even more "safe".

    - If you don't have a lot of time to play, this might just not be the game for you. It is slow paced, which is fine, this is the best way to play it - but it might get frustrating if you can play only one hour at a time. But if you have time, then it will be worth every minute of it, if you like slow-paced non-action game as I do.

    - I've heard a lot of complaining about the menu management, how there are way to much info on screen, written in small caps. It takes a bit of effort to understand but I managed pretty easily. Maybe, choose a day where you don't feel tired to get started, and take your time, you'll do just fine.

    - Vehicules are... well, not very realistic. I mean, it's not awful to use, i actually enjoy it on roads, but it feels like horses from Skyrim, either that or rocks along the way will just makes them almost useless. Going on foot is slower and you can't get as much cargos, but it feels so much better to play.

    - The "action" part of the game is not that great. It is not the center of the gameplay however, and you better avoid confrontation anywa if you want to be effective. But if you are used to FPS, you might grit your teeth a few times.

    Also I haven't got any bugs whatsoever, and I started day one.

    This will not be a game for every one. It's okay, to each game their own appreciation. I just wish the gratuitous haters wouldn't be so noisy, it mights get people who would love it to just disregard the whole game and lose a new experience that truly feels great, and not at all like a "second job".    … Expand

    This game starts out kind of slow, but it took me until episode 3 to realize that suffering through a slow, weak, and defenseless character was necessary for you to appreciate the intense “wow” moments that occur later as you gradually become more adept. For those that stick with it, you will be rewarded with a unique, unconventional gaming experience that is implemented in a masterful way.

    A Masterpiece. It is fun and unlike anything I have ever played. Masterful story telling and great actors. Great Action as well. Can't wait to see what else Kojima Productions does! :)

    Потрясающий экспириенс. Атмосфера, музыка, сюжет, режиссура, геймплей - все вызывает восторг. Оторваться невозможно. Не очень понятно чего ожидали от этой игры недовольные люди, т.к. мои ожидания были оправданы на 200%

    The game is just phenomenal in every aspect..... be it sound design, environment, cast or story.
    It may feel somewhat tiresome/boring in the beginning during the tasks of doing the delivery, but those are also some of the best experiences too. You don't know when you would get attacked by a BT or when the Rain might occur. This is what I thought about it.

    Excellent stories. Delivery system connected players togather without meeting each other. I really can't stop playing it.

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
