    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really like this game. It’s not perfect by any stretch of the meaning but it is good. There’s a lot of filler and it feels a little bit too long. There’s certain missions that felt unnecessary to be in here. In the final third the game, it feels a bit more turbo charged. A lot of stuff happens and its a bit jarring. The game just isn’t paced right.

    I’m not going to spoil too much but the story throughout the game has being building up to the answer to this question, is your wife still alive. But then it’s sidetracked with other random tasks that have nothing to do with the the main plot. The way the story is told is so frustrating. A bit of this story here, a bit of that story there. There’s no flow. And then when we get to the end its seems thrown together in a rush with a load of guns and fire. And the main villain in the end only existed as the big baddy for about five minutes. I was confused by that. They had another one build up a ready to go but finished him off in a cutscene. Peculiar decisions.

    The world that the game is in is fantastic. The world feels alive and it is interesting. The enemies you come across is vast enough that it keeps me entertained. There are times where I’m in no mood for certain ones like the screamers but I power through. The bike I love. It sounds awesome and I don’t care what anyone says but I like the customisation options. I thought that at some point we were going to get the original bike back but I guess the game forgot about it.

    Overall its a great game and I would have gotten the sequel if there ever was to be one. My main issues would be some of the bugs, funny as they may be but a little annoying. And that weapon wheel. My word it’s awful. Trying to select a weapon is just frustrating. Anyway I give this a seven and I think I’m being a little bit generous    … Expand

    I absolutely loved this game. I know people when this came out said it was buggy but I cannot attest to that since I played it on PS5 at 60fps and it was fantastic. I loved the gameplay and storyline. I was terrified of the hoards especially the Chalmut and Old Sawmill. The motocycle to travel was a breath of fresh air as opposed to just having a horse to travel. I loved the fact thatI absolutely loved this game. I loved the fact that if you were not careful with your gas you would run our so this make you mindful of supplies not to over use which is just in line with what you would expect in a post apocalyptic world.     Hands down the best zombie game out there with the most intense horde encounters.
    The open world is very detailed.
    The characters are so loveable.

    I didn’t expect anything from it, which is why it was doubly pleasant to get a good-hearted and cool game. Got platinum, want a sequel

    As much as I dislike zombie stories, I loved this game just as much! Аnd at the end a bold hint at the continuation of the story, so let's release Days Gone 2 pls;)

    A breath of fresh air on PS5. Great story. Great mechanics. Hordes are amazing. Riding your bike through the beautiful Oregon countryside whilst blasting hordes is what makes this game unique. It's a real shame Sony didn't greenlight a sequel.

    This game is not underrated. It's overrated. Even if you have a lot of time on your hands, I'd still wouldn't recommend it.

Сюжет отличный, это атмосферное выживание с зомби, где вы как байкер, в прошлом, катаетесь на байке от сюжетной точки до другой сюжетной точки , постоянно заглядывая в лагеря выживших, попутно занимаясь крафтом различных аптечек, сывороток и метательных предметов. Оружие продаётся в лагерях, там же можно продать уши с убитых вами зомби (фриков) и с других заражённых существ, а также можно продавать кожу животных. В Игре игре присутствует система прокачки способностей, тоесть различные бонусы в игре: способность носить с собой больше предметов для крафта, метательного оружия, а также болтов, нужных для починки вашего байка и для создания других предметов;
    способность получать больше тушек с убитых животных.
    Сначала вы боитесь убивать зомби (фриков), но подбираясь всё ближе и ближе к концу игры вы чувствуете себя настоящим богом в мире полном ходящих трупов и больших ходящих трупов (громил). Также в игре присутствует множество заражённых животных, а именно: крикуны (заражённые вороны), клыкачи (заражённые волки) и шатуны (заражённые медведи, одни из самых сильных заражённых животных, превосходящих свою не заражённую версию, на уровне громил, если не выше).
    Самая страшная вещь для новичков или даже для тех кто почти прошёл игру - это орда (фриков). У того кто скоро пройдет игру (я к тому моменту как появилась эта миссия, за два дня прошёл игру, так что для меня это миссия была очень близко к концу игры) появилась орда по сюжету, которую нельзя пропустить, а боялся он орд, потому что до этого он вообще не приближался к этим ордам и боялся их также как в начале игры (так было со мной, как вы понимаете). Но постепенно, оттачивая навык, я убил все орды на карте(после прохождения игры они показываются).
    Эта игра замечательна, ведь даже когда я её прошел я продолжал играть и получал огромное удовольствие от получения ачивок в игре, которые после прохождения получить гораздо легче.
    Я советую всем пройти эту игру (я прошёл её на средней сложности),
    ведь эта игра подарит вам незабываемые впечатления и эмоции, во время прохождения, хоть она и большая, пройдёте вы её быстро (ну это по сравнению с другими играми)! Желаю всем познать это удовольствие, всем хорошего настроения и с новым годом (у меня сейчас новый год).
    P.s. Буду проходить игру на "новой игре +", на сложности выживание 2 (самой сложной), пожелайте мне удачи ;))    … Expand

I was struggling to give this game a solid 7, and after 100 percenting it i think ive changed my mind and decided to give it a 6. Lets start with the story. Days gone is an emotionally bland and mostly boring tale of unlikeable characters being in predictable and often forced situations that they dont react convincingly to whatsoever. Which is a real shame, as days gone desperately tries to tell not one, but several stories throughout its duration, all of which end up having the same issues. If you can look past bad writing, and pathetic characters with an overall uninteresting plot, what you get is a fine open world with some half assed mechanics that ultimately come together to make for a mediocre experience. It feels like originally the devs were going with a survival game, but quickly gave up on that idea as the game right now has little consequence for not having fuel or crafting items, both of which the game considers essential. Some underdeveloped mechanics include, the fuel system, hunting, stealth and bounty systems. Alright then, so after that what still allows this game to get a 6? Well thats just it, all parts of this game are disappointingly mediocre. Not atrocious, (apart from maybe the story and characters), not great. Hordes are a fun mechanic that can feel cinematic and fun, although never coming near to as good as they looked at the e3 trailer that's for sure. Exploration works fine, and you get a typical if not slightly above average open world experience to go with it. I think this game has some unique features at the very least, and im sure its a fun switch your brain off type ordeal, but after 100 percenting the thing i find it hard to recommend it to you.… Expand

    Eu gostei muito desse jogo, apesar de ter algumas coisas que poderiam melhorar para uma continuação. A história demorou um pouco pra engatar, as mecânicas são apresentadas MUITO lentamente. A moto no começo parece estranha de rodar, mas depois que acostuma fica uma delícia de jogar. O deacon é muito carismático e a jogabilidade é muito boa! O jogo está rodando lindinho no PS4 Pro!

The sound mixing is perfect - for example, guns are a lot louder than dialogue or other minor sound effects, as it should be. The gameplay is excellent.     Also, it's not a generic game, it has a lot of personality and does a lot of things right. Exploring the world is amazing and the horde system is very innovative and fun. It runs perfectly at 60fps on Ps5. It still has a few bugs, but nothing so bad. The critics that gave this game a bad review were very unfair, in my opinion.

    UN niveau de détails eppustouflant. Ne révolutionne pas exceptionnellement le genre mais reste extrêmement efficace.

    Всем привет, вышла эта игра на PC и я конечноже скачал пиратрку, для ознакомления конечноже. И что, и что оказалось игра просто офигенная. Сюжет может и не тянет на какой нибудь голливудский блокбастер, но на крепкий сериал это уж точно. В игре нет ни одной банальной сцены, ни одного ожидаемого поворота. Игра об настоящей мужской дружбе и любви которая выдержала растояния, раставание,Всем привет, вышла эта игра на PC и я конечноже скачал пиратрку, для ознакомления конечноже. И что, и что оказалось игра просто офигенная. Сюжет может и не тянет на какой нибудь голливудский блокбастер, но на крепкий сериал это уж точно.     По геймплею все обычно и не без проблем. НО! Если играть на сложности сложно 2, игра стает настоящим испытанием, с необходимостью щатать патроны, комбинировать разные виды оружия, искать припасы, натравливать фриков на людей. Из минусов, немного непонятная физика байка (не в езде, покатушки отличные) при столкновении с толпой, и другими препятствиями, несколько однообразные второстепенные мисии (но прошел я их все).
    По итогу могу сказать следующее, пиратку я прошел.... Ипотом купил лицензионное издание на Epic Game. Разрабочики, SONY BEND, не обходите стороной PC. Мы вас очень ждем!!!    … Expand

    How are the critics so mixed on this game? Acting? Great. Characters? Unique and amazing. Story? Sucks you in and keeps you interested. Gameplay? Addicting AF! Upgrade system? Check. Regrets? That I didn't play this sooner. This games definitely deserves more praise than it got, and Sony should be jumping on the opportunity to keep the series going. If only all zombie games were this fun.

    Amo mucho esta clase de juegos, sin duda uno de sandbox más entretenidos que jugué, sin bien a tal punto se siente repetitivo, creo que tiene una gran historia con unos personajes interesantes. Aún así lo considero un peldaño mas bajo de las grandiosas obras que Sony nos tiene acostubrados.

I can't remember enjoying a game so much, even the side missions are great. So many supposed blockbusters aren't anywhere near as good as this. It's a shame it was so overlooked. I think the launch bugs probably didn't help but on the PS5 this runs like a dream. I would buy a sequel in a heart beat so big shame it's been canned. Much preferred this to Last of Us 2.… Expand

The character is insufferable and has no charisma at all, the secondary characters have as always in sony with their message of how you should think.     The missions are too many, some are just cinematic or very simple, a map full of tasks to clean
    Turns out hordes are pretty much optional and the demo video was way better than the final game.

    It has not even exceeded expectations in sales and that is why sony has decided not to release a second part.    … Expand

    El juego tiene un muy buen aspecto gráfico, con una zona de juego muy hermosa y diferentes biomas para    Sandbox de terror con mecánicas de third person shooter y supervivencia que pica de elementos y mecánicas ya vistas en otros juegos, para desarrollar una trama algo manida en torno a un apocalipsis causado por una letal epidemia que convierte a la gente en una especie de zombie.

    El juego tiene un muy buen aspecto gráfico, con una zona de juego muy hermosa y diferentes biomas para explorar. Pero enseguida te das cuenta, si has jugado a otros grandes éxitos de Playstation, que 'The Last of Us'. 'Uncharted' o 'Death Stranding' u 'Horizon Zero Dawn' han sido una fuerte inspiracion para sus desarrolladores. Lo cual no es malo, pero le resta originalidad y por ende, enteros.

    Durante la primera mitad del juego he pensado en ponerle una nota más baja, las misiones se me hacían insulsas, parace un juego con la trama alargada a propósito con el objetivo de que tenga más horas. Por fortuna una vez que pasas el ecuador de la hostoria y abres el mapa y se conoce el verdadero peligro o antagonista de la historia el juego gana enteros y en entretenimiento.

    Tambien hay que mencionar que es un juego que tiene problemas a día de hoy. Con algunos bugs (muchos menos de los que yo personalmente lei antes de comprarmelo....) verdaderamente risibles y surrealistas, pero que en ningún momento me impidieron jugar, o me rompieron la partida.

    En definitiva, 'Days Gone' es un buen juego. Pero no va a pasar a la historia incluso dentro de su propio género. Es uno más del montón. Interesante en físico por unos 20 pavos o menos, si te mola tener los exclusivos del sistema en tu estantería (aunque ahora está tambien disponible en pc)    … Expand

    Days Gone est un bon jeu avec un excellent gameplay. Il aurait pu être aussi bon que Red Dead ou Last of us mais la trame narrative n’est pas à la hauteur du gameplay. Tout y était, même le jeu s’essouffle et semble se perdre avec la trame. Dommage! J’ai aimé la mécanique du jeu.

    Um game muito melhor do que eu esperava, joguei ele em 09/2021 e não vi quase nenhum bug, e até aquele mês ele soltaram outro patch para correção, demonstrando a preocupação da produtora em deixar o game corrigido, para quem procura uma história boa e com um gameplay bom, é uma ótima escolha.

The gameplay is funny and the relationship between Deek and the bike is amazing. But the story is the best part of the game: a man who fights like hell in a damned world to find the woman he loves, his wife Sarah.
    In a hateful and ruthless world, hope and love win anyway.

    For sure Days Gone has not the same graphics it had in the 2016 E3 reveal trailer. But despite his problems, this game made me feel some strong emotions. It's for sure the most emotional game since Uncharted 4. Sony announced that they won't make a sequel and this is really disappointing.
    Days Gone was by far the best open world game since GTA 5.
    Maybe one day Sony will understand its mistake.

    Amazing game. Once you get into it it's very addicting. Very interesting characters and a very good story. Beautiful open world graphically with a very dangerous environment. I recommend it to every open world game fan who wants to challenge himself.

    My favourite game on ps4 by far. Even what should be a mundane task of refueling your bike is exciting .     I had more fun than I expected. Fantastic story, good gameplay. I love that it's TPP, not FPS (most of zombie shooters are). There are small things to improve, but it's nothing that could impact the fun that the game gives.

Underrated game that deserves some attention for sure. Shame the performance wasn't up to scratch on the legacy PS4.

    2021 update installed game on internal factory default HD and brought digital version. So no more disc anymore (traded). Performance seems to have improved. It's not great on the legacy PS4, but it is better than it was before. I'd of give this a 8/10 if the optimization was good. I read the creator crying about that we are not going to get a DG2, because enough people didn't buy DG1 at full price? Maybe optimize the game at launch cry baby creator? Gameplay is also fun including shooting and melee, the hordes are terrifying but super fun to tackle too. The story is nothing we haven't seen before but in times like these what hasn't been done right?
    That said I had a great time with this game, had no game breaking bugs or anything of that nature really hoping for Days Gone 2 now! So I'm giving Days Gone 1 and 8/10!
    If you like open world games with a touch of horror thrown in with a likable lead and well acted characters all around then you'll most likely enjoy playing Days Gone.. So give it a go already!    … Expand

    Days Gone isn't the best zombie open world game ever made, but , is a very great game. The story is poor and the characters aren't that interesting (the cutscene that Deacon meets his wife its just terrible). About the gameplay I can say that is very fun, the shooting and stealth are just great (for me) and the exploration is very enjoyable!

Si te gustaria sobrevivir a un apocalipsis zombi en un mundo abierto con una moto este es tu juego. Me encantaria un Days Gone 2. Le doy un 10 porque lo he disfrutado como un niño y la prensa ha menospreciado esta joya

    Best game I played in 2021. I had no bugs and the game ran great on PC on a medium build. The story was really interesting and the characters are portrayed really good and I really cared for them. The only reason i stopped playing was because I had lost count of time and had to go to sleep.

    Best zombie game ever! Personally I love 3rd person open world games like this and I’m so damn greatful it was not a FPS! I can’t stand those…I hope the sequel to this has some more vehicles and more added elements like random merchants out on the road, but overall this is a solid game!

    Days Gone es el mejor juego de zombies de mundo abierto jamás creado. Mucho mejor que Dying Light. Estoy extremadamente feliz de que llegue a la PC como debería, porque en la PC realmente puede brillar y jugar será mejor en general con teclado + mouse. Es una de las pocas exclusivas de ps4 que realmente me importan.

    This game really focuses on human drama. It doesn't have tense moments as a survival game but the story and the characters are really good. Every character is really written.

    I would also like to note the quality of the port on the PC - the port turned out to be excellent, in 4k the game produces stable 60 frames per second at high.

    For fans of the genre and good stories - a must have to buy.

    How is this game at 71 from critics lmao. Fun gameplay, story is good but it's pretty long and burns out a bit close to the end (first half of the story is better). Progression system is cool, graphics and sound are amazing (best looking snow on PS4). Nothing in the game is groundbreaking, but everything works well.

    At the beginning of the game you’ll feel like you've already played this game... then it will let you go for a while only to return with reinforcements (and lots of bugs). However, Days Gone has a couple of pleasant moments, that can't be denied. [Issue#295]

    I expect and hope for a sequel. Just know that going into this game that there is a lot of tedious nonsense to pad out a really good game to make it feel more worth every dollar, much to its detriment. I want to give this game a better score because the best moments are so good, but the large portion of this game is so bloody tiring that I just can’t.
