    One of the best games ever made and my favorite Open world game. Great gameplay, amazing story and really good graphics. Omliest bad things are a few bugs but they don't take away from the overall enjoyment imo.

    Wow I just played though this gem, and it far exceeded my expectations! The world is fully realized with great attention to detail in all respects. The story was very well written and implemented into the main/side missions. The talent in the game was superb, Sam Witwer was perfect as Deacon!     Achei incrível a jogabilidade, literalmente é inovador ter acesso rápido aos menus no touch do controle, e os salvamentos rápidos apenas estando próximo da moto. As armas são espetaculares, e o upgrade do personagem também é ótimo. A trilha sonora é cativante e também enigmática.

    days gone è semplicemente un gioco che non pretende di essere perfetto, ma vuole essere un gioco nella media e centra l'obbiettivo, anzi lo supera. parlando della storia possiamo dire che è una bella storia raccontata molto bene. il gameplay invece è molto particolare, infatti prende il meglio di molti giochi e gli unisce. la moto invece è molto personalizzabile... certo la guida non èdays gone è semplicemente un gioco che non pretende di essere perfetto, ma vuole essere un gioco nella media e centra l'obbiettivo, anzi lo supera. parlando della storia possiamo dire che è una bella storia raccontata molto bene. il gameplay invece è molto particolare, infatti prende il meglio di molti giochi e gli unisce. la moto invece è molto personalizzabile... certo la guida non è perfetta, ma non è neanche una schifezza.... quindi non lamentiamoci di days gone… Expand

    Durante minha jogatina de Days Gone pude perceber que esse jogo não mantém o nível, ele sempre está oscilando entre ser um jogo muito bom, ou um jogo superficial, mas em nenhum momento foi um jogo ruim. O jogo peca em não saber manter o ritmo, há vezes que a história é original e cativante, mas permuta em questionamentos piegas e clichês de filmes, séries e jogos de    POTENCIAL INEXPLORADO

    The story, the zombies and of course the gameplay where all enjoyable. The start made me feel weak but as more camps were discovered and towards the return to the North side of map I felt much more confident in taking the hordes and enjoyed it sooo much. Great experience.

    The best zombie game I have ever played ( better than: RE2, RE4, RE6 and TLOu1). It may not have the best characters, plot and everything. If you are not into Zombie games and Open world, you are probably gona find it nice, but, if you are into this kind of games, u are gonna love it because ot is ADDITCING. It makes you really feel into a zombie apocalypse.

    Tried playing again for about 4-5 hours of gameplay. The acting in this game is just horrible. There's no excitement I feel while riding that boring bike. Rdr horses are faster. Shooting has improved but level design sucks. NPCs are just horrible! Story is okay I guess. Tasks often repetitive.     This is the best game I played so far on my PS5. The game is a breath of fresh air in many ways. The story is great, the world is huge and very well built, with great graphics and scenery. The controls are very good for the most part.

    There are however some negatives. The game is buggy. Nothing majorly game-breaking, but I have seen bad guys floating high up in the sky, or jumping    This is the best game I played so far on my PS5. The game is a breath of fresh air in many ways. The story is great, the world is huge and very well built, with great graphics and scenery. The controls are very good for the most part.

    There are however some negatives. The game is buggy. Nothing majorly game-breaking, but I have seen bad guys floating high up in the sky, or jumping around like super-heroes, frozen in place or getting stuck. Objects sometimes fail to render. Missions can auto-complete if you don't follow the steps in the right order, or fail to complete at all.

    The voice acting is also a mixed bag. Most of it is good, but some of it is atrocious, e.g. the acting from random hostages that you rescue. Deacon also tends to shout a lot for no reason, which is jarring when in dialog with others who speak normally.

    The sound engineering of dialogue is mostly terrible. Easily the worst I have encountered in any game. All the characters sound like they are standing right there next to you (the player), instead of originating where the character actually stands on the screen. This is really jarring at first. Eventually I got used to it.

    Deacon tends to radio people at random times. There are no visual cues for this (like picking up a radio), and he can do this even though he is busy with other thing, like gunfights with no hands free, while riding on the bike, running / fleeing, etc. This is a very poor mechanic that I wish Bend Studio had implemented this better (e.g. by making responding to the radio an explicit action the player has to engage it).

    I also thought the NERO storyline was pretty lame. Making the NERO soldiers invincible breaks immersion and the stealth missions aren't very engaging (they are not hard).

    Despite the flaws, I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent playing this game (80 hours total), and highly recommend it.    … Expand

All of the collectibles aren't tedious because there isn't many of them and they unlock powerful weapons. This game puts absolutely every open world game that isn't made by Rockstar to shame. The challenge mode is ham fisted in but it not playing it only stops you from decking out Deacon in cool biker patches so its not a huge loss. New Game + offers a fun way to experience the game for the cost of pacing.… Expand

    A breath of fresh air from other "living dead" titles. An amazing atmosphere and mechanics. I was never bored playing this (and it's a long game). A couple negatives were control issues, but nothing major.

    Very nice and fun game, I don’t understand why it was panned by critics. It’s a solid 7 at least. For me is an 8.5, but I’ll rate it an 8 because it could’ve been a little more polished in some aspects.

    Days gone is a great game with a decent story, fairly a little longer than I was expecting. Bike upgrades, weapons, and hordes makes this game even better. Must play.

If you are a fan of the open world genre or Zombie genre...you will like this game. It has a sprawling map with objectives to do all over and throughout the game whilst the storyline will hit every single Zombie trope you can think of.
    However, due to    Platinumed the game and unlike the 'fanboy' 10/10 reviews here I'll review this honestly and as balanced as I can without spoiling much. If you are a fan of the open world genre or Zombie genre...you will like this game. It has a sprawling map with objectives to do all over and throughout the game whilst the storyline will hit every single Zombie trope you can think of.
    However, due to that design choice and story choice the only word that can truly be used to describe Days Gone is...Generic. Nothing in this game is remotely pushing the curve or subverting expectation, it essentially leans into every other open world game and every Zombie media that's been done 100 times more. No game should feel the need to innovate, but this games lack of adventure in its choices left this feeling very bland and vanilla. Even the hordes that the games major marketing revolved around are in reality no more than a recreation of COD zombie's in a open world space whereby kiting here works exactly the same as kiting does in COD.
    As I stated in the beginning, if you like Zombies and open world games, you'll like this game because you've seen it before and played it before 100 times, but in terms of it being anything "worth wild" it delivers in being thoroughly mindless and generic.    … Expand

    This game had everything I wanted in a post apocalyptic survival horror game. The story was compelling and I wish they would've made online multiplayer with things like horde or pvp...also I was expecting a lot of extra content like DLC but it didn't pan out that way unfortunately. For what it's worth I loved it. 10/10. I am still hoping for a sequel.

    Single player games normally can't hold my attention long enough for me to complete them.
    I was not expecting much, but days gone took me by suprise. The gameplay and the story in particular gripped me through the entire game (and i don't normally care for the story aspect)

    Very elaborate and interesting plot! A long non-trivial story and a memorable ending. I've played a lot of games and this is the first one I wanted to rate on Metacritic. I sincerely don't understand why the game didn't become popular, because it's not inferior to competitors.

И вот, единственный сранный момент, где он нужен. Босс рандомные вещи делает, когда ты не можешь никак не увернуться, а у тебя 2 попытки. Ну, максимум, 3. Перед тем как он тебя добьет.     Really enjoy the theme zumbi/survival horror with motorcycle and great history, with Deacon having to work your loyalty and love to your wife and his friend.
    After you finish the game, you can start in a high level with all the abilities, making better, without having to look for gas all the time while you can deal with all the humans and freakers without be scary or have caution in the beginning.    … Expand

Сам по себе сценарий довольно банальный, причём на штампы он полагается от начала и до самого конца. Вот, знакомьтесь, байкер по имени Дикон Сент-Джонс, который в начале зомби-апокалипсиса теряет жену, а потом несколько лет её ищет и страдает: колесит из лагеря в лагерь, охотится за головами, «плюёт на всех вокруг», но придерживается какого-то своего кодекса чести. Ещё у него есть друг, с которым происходят неприятности и которого он пытается спасти, а выжившие в каждом следующем лагере постоянно уговаривают свободолюбивого байкера остаться с ними, намекая, что он «гораздо лучше, чем сам считает».
    Временами герой погружается во флэшбеки, которые целиком посвящены потерянной любимой и раскрывают их отношения. Где-то на фоне орудует военная организация, которая изучает ходячих мертвецов, но плевать хотела на выживших. Откуда взялся зомби-вирус, тоже ещё надо выяснить. Тем временем какие-то сошедшие с ума культисты мешают жить обычным людям, выжигают на своих телах закорючки и поклоняются бродячим мертвецам. В общем, с каждой миссией банальностей и штампов становится только больше, но это не расстраивает. Потому что ключевое здесь — то, как история раскрывается.
    Если по части креатива Bend Studio не хватило смелости, то в области кинематографии, диалогов и подачи они большие молодцы. Не важно, сюжетная это миссия или какой-нибудь мелкий квест, — главный герой и все, кто его окружает, не затыкаются почти никогда. Дикон вечно общается с кем-то по радио, причитает, бормочет, жалуется то на дождь, то на длинную лестницу. И при этом каждый разговор, каждая реплика написаны так, что в них веришь, а к героям прикипаешь. То какая-нибудь мелкая, но удачная шутка промелькнёт, то и впрямь остроумное высказывание.    … Expand

    This is a really good game, with a few minor letdowns. Story is good and realistic, music is fitting, gameplay is balanced and more or less lasts well the whole game. Hordes is really fun to kill. It's too shame that they're refusing to make a sequel, that game deserves it, and I really look forward to see it.

    I think game companies like Sony should not focus or care about what game journalists say. Most of the reviewers probably did not played the game more than 1 hour cause this game blooms after some time and shows it's true beautyful colors.

    This game is a masterpiece and carries a huge potential.

    Underrated and over hated and all that for no reason at all. It's solid open-world zombie game, one of the best at that. There's nothing really wrong with it, every game has highs and lows. Some professional review wrote that world feels empty and lifeless. I'm sorry, but did you expect GTA 5 out of this? This world feels more alive than Cyberpunk 2077. This is zombie wasteland, of courseUnderrated and over hated and all that for no reason at all. It's solid open-world zombie game, one of the best at that. There's nothing really wrong with it, every game has highs and lows. Some professional review wrote that world feels empty and lifeless. I'm sorry, but did you expect GTA 5 out of this? This world feels more alive than Cyberpunk 2077. This is zombie wasteland, of course it feels empty. That's the whole point. But there's tons of houses you can go inside, there's camps full of life and then there's zombies. Dying Light doesn't feel more "alive" than this game.… Expand

    Controls are not as good as other ps games. Motorcycle always gears up when traveling (it has 20 forward gears I assume) Gears up but speed is same... Game mechanichs slow. Weather changes only for astethics, doesn't change any gameplay... Game starts good but ending... pifff... Without hype it is 4 point game.

    - gameplay, is super generic the walking and driving, mostly the driving is really well done, but the open world might be the worst i've encountered yet in a AAA title, feels so empty and lazy build its just amazingly bad.
    - fun, it is just not, loot animations are too long, you will encounter a lot of **** designs in the game that are just annoying like the random encounter with the enemy that are just cancer and you cannot have at least a satisfying ride between point a and b.
    - bugs, i have had a lot from visually bugs to game breaking bugs, like it's been 2 years wtf man repair your game.
    + visuals, are nice, animations are good and all, overall is a good looking game.
    + sound design, is more good than bad, sound track is good,

    Best Sony exclusive i've played after Uncharted 4. The game is a great mix of RDR2 set in a zombie (freakers) apocalypse world. Also, it is the longest Sony exclusive game witch starts to really shine after 8-12 hours deep into the story. DG really deserves a sequel because the story ends with a some big cliffhanger witch left the story unfinished and opened to many interpretations.

    The first few hours are EXTREMELY slow, this is what caused me to take so long to fully complete the game, having owned the game since 2019 and having restarted it SEVERAL times, I wouldn't say that the start of the game is boring, but it's very close to that description BUT if you persevere and get past the first few hours, the game really opens up and becomes a lot of fun.

    What a good game! So glad I gave this game a chance. Playing this on a PS5 at 60fps really put it to the next level for me. The story, voice acting, and music are all top notch. Highly recommend playing this game.

When I play a game I'm looking for something that plays fine with at least a fun story, it doesn't have to be great for me to enjoy, but that being said Days Gone is a game that I don't really like playing or watching. I've played it twice once on PS4, and once on PS5. I'll say the PS4 playthrough was worse just for the freezing and glitches. The PS5 didn't really have those problems. From a gameplay stand point it's okay, the shooting feels good enough, and the way deacon moves is nice. The bike controls are pretty good as well. Though I don't like the melee, it's pretty boring and kind of ugly to look at. The weapon durability is annoying but that's not a Days Gone problem, that just shouldn't exist in any game. Though all that wouldn't be a problem if Days Gone had a story that didn't make me cringe all the time. Let's start with the story over all - it's fine, a sad man in a zombie apocalypse misses his dead wife and can't get over it. The side story's are more interesting but aren't very fleshed out and are pretty short overall. Boozer's (your best friend in the game) story is more interesting he has a dead girlfriend/wife as well without it being a dragged out bin story. He does lose an arm an has to deal with learning to cope with it. He goes from an outsider to being a big part of a community and trusting more people again. In contrast Deacon (the player character) flip flops from a complete crazy person mostly during gameplay, to a 15 year old emo kid who can barely speak to his best friend, or really anyone for that matter. The four camps you visit in game are fine. One is a slave labour camp, one is a libertarian camp, one is a more well rounded "do the right thing" type camp, and one is and army. The slave camp and the libertarian camp don't have much story to them apart from a storyline with a young girl that is pretty dull. The well rounded camp (Iron Mike) is where you get a lot more characters and story but its still mostly centered around Sarah (Deacon's wife), Boozer, and a couple people at the camp. Over all my biggest problem with Days Gone is it tries so hard to do what games like Red Dead Redemption 2 do, and that take on a morally grey main character and make them understandable, have them grow, even if you don't agree with them all the time. But it doesn't feel like Deacon grows much at all. Boozer tries to help him get over Sarah's death but in the end he's proven right that she's not dead, and if he had let it go he wouldn't have found her. He spends years not trusting anyone to spite the fact that they want his help and would make him a part of things if he would just try a little. I know they wanted to have him be a person who can't let go of the past but at some point it gets silly. As for the story being emotional it all fell pretty flat. The flashbacks with Sarah before you find her are some of the most cringey scenes I've seen in along time - in particular the wedding, which was so awful that it made me audibly laugh. By the end of the story I just leave a game that took me 20 hours to complete feeling like it took me 40, with about 2 hours of real story. If you cut out the bandit camps, chasing down people for ally camps, and the NERO checkpoints, this game has two mission types: go to a place and shoot people or go to a place and shoot zombies, sometimes you'll have to get an item and bring it back. I also have some smaller issues, though there not important enough to say here. It's a game made with a lot of talent and money, but not much substance. I cant see how anyone can find this emotional as it's like a poorly written fanfiction at times. Though one benefit is no microtransactions!… Expand

    First %60 is fine but after that it is so boring and repetitive. The game has a average-good story but presentation is so bad, disjointed and unsuccessful. What a frustration with all that resources. Anyway i think it is worth to play but my suggestion is when you play, play with many break.

    True spiritual successor to the somewhat dead last of us franchise. The game gets bad scores from 'critics' who are quite frankly bent to a certain mindset of what a game should be rather than how good a game actually is. Games like this require investment and time to develop on you, not a 5 minute firework then nothing left.

    I love this game! I really don’t know what else to say. I haven’t finished the game yet, but from what I have played it’s amazing, and has quickly become one of my favorite games ever. From the amazing graphics, great variety of likable characters, to the intense and beautiful storyline. Overall it’s just a great game, and I’m very glad I’ve gotten the chance to play it.

    At the beginning of the game you’ll feel like you've already played this game... then it will let you go for a while only to return with reinforcements (and lots of bugs). However, Days Gone has a couple of pleasant moments, that can't be denied. [Issue#295]

    I expect and hope for a sequel. Just know that going into this game that there is a lot of tedious nonsense to pad out a really good game to make it feel more worth every dollar, much to its detriment. I want to give this game a better score because the best moments are so good, but the large portion of this game is so bloody tiring that I just can’t.
