    I **** loved it. Don't know why the reviews were so bad, we as gamers seem to have become so damn picky. This game's story is great, the gameplay is fun, missions are creative and the environment very rich and beautiful. I don't need more :)

    I’d rate this game objectively an 8/10 but it had such an unfair review cycle when it released that I’m giving it a 10 to offset. Highly underrated video game that really engrosses you in its world, gameplay and story. It’s tragic we won’t get a sequel but Days Gone remains a game worth playing. I recommend.

    Insuperable juego,mejor que the lsst of us, e infinitamente mejor que last the of us 2, solo espero que si hay la deseada secuela de un days gone 2 no hagan un producto tan decepcionante como the lastvof us 2, sino que sea sea como days gone 1, divertido, munfo abierto, gráficos increíbles, para mi Junto a god of war y horizon son loa mejores juehos exclusivos de sony.     A fun, open world experience with a great crafting system. The game is a bit too long but offers a lot in story and gameplay. It feels a bit like it should be a Walking Dead game in both good ways and bad. There's not a whole lot to see in the open world, but defeating hoards is quite fun. Very much worth the twenty dollars I paid for it.

    I don’t usually play for the story but this one as amazing. I really got submerged into the world to the point I was sad when it was over after almost 60 hours.     Masterpiece! This is definitely the best open world ''zombie'' game ever made! Also, this is one of the best stories (very emotional) in game history! Amazing open world, apocalyptic feeling, great characters, good gameplay, fantastic graphics and a lot more. For me its 10/10, and also hoping the one day we will see a sequel for Days Gone because this game definitely deserves it!

    Very underrated game. It’s far longer than it needs to be and the writing is average. Played it years after they fixed the technical glitches and enhanced visuals were added, definite recommend.

    I had so much fun in this game! Hordes are staggering! I love the fresh feeling when I am starting a good game and I have no idea what should I expect and all I see is great :) After a number of evenings in game I found that regular missions and events are too similar. Still one of best zombie games I played.

    I know I'm late to the game, but this game is a masterpiece in my view. Too many games are trying to be too realistic these days instead of being what they are, games. This one has a compelling story, an interesting lead character, many diverse things to do, and again, it's a game that knows it's a game.     Very special and unique title. Can't understand the "bad" rating. Graphics look phenomenal even on basic PS4. Performance became very stable. Gameplay is just perfect. The story doesn't set new standards, but convinces with believable characters, well-written dialogues and one or the other "wow moment". Unreserved purchase recommendation

    Jogo mediano, cheio de bugs no ps5. Repetitivo mas GOSTOSO DE JOGAR. Achei a historia curta e fraca. O protagonista não investiga nada. Só sobrevive e fica sabendo o que os outros dizem pra ele. Talvez uma atualização ou uma DLC jogando com algum personagem que desenvolva a história.

    Days Gone is a great game, probably the best zombie apokalypse on Ps4. The open world of Oregon is beautiful, the graphics are amazing, the story is good and entertaining. On Ps5 it even looks better. Give it a try if you haven't graped it yet.

    My only    I played this game for the first time in 2022, and wow is it fun. The overall experience is just thoroughly enjoyable... from the atmospherics, to the music, to the story, to the combat, to simply riding around in a post-apocalyptic world. And those hordes! Probably the best time I've had in a zombie/undead style game, and generally a gaming experience that I won't soon forget.

    My only critiques are that the voice acting and facial animations could definitely use some work. And perhaps some more open world events could help bring the world more to life. And it would be nice if more things/places could be interacted with, and items in the world react to your actions properly (e.g. at full speed, a cardboard box or a wooden fence brings you to a complete stop if you drive into it. Incorporating some other biomes into the experience would be cool as well (perhaps the story leads Deacon into other parts of the country/world?)

    Other than that, based on the reviews, it's clear that the players have spoken, and they definitely want a sequel to this game. I am in total agreement with that sentiment, particularly one that is built from the ground up for the PS5. Sony, give us a sequel.    … Expand

    Just finished the game and I'm blown away by how fun it was. The world is gorgeous, gunplay is very fun, the characters feel alive and the story kept me hooked until the end. This game is the definition of underrated. Played in PS5 in 4k/69 fps with 0 bugs. It was a total pleasure.

    Hey, this was one of the best done story driven games ever. Acting, audio, story, game progression... all great. The hoard mechanic was super fun/challenging. Loved the bike riding too...

    Great game, some bugs as expected but wonderful. Great environment and amazing story. Scary at times but still manages to grip me to the chair, some times up to 5hts. One of the best zombie game i´ve played, still behind on The Last of Us tho, close but not there yet.

    Dais Gone, I played the game, I really liked it, the story is excellent, I really enjoyed playing it, so I can only say all the praise for the people who worked on it. I expect some continuation with progress and improvements of the game itself. I would definitely recommended!

    Because of that, I think that for people that experiment Days Gone as their first game or first open world game, they will have a great time especially if they like the Zombie theme. Otherwise, for players who played a lot of open world games in the past, they will have a « déjà-vu » feeling.

    Now, I will share more about my personal experience with this game. I think it's pretty decent and good, but not amazing as a package. I completed my playthrough yesterday on hard diffiuclty. I did most of the side stuff + the main storyline and my PS5 tells me I spent 70 hours on this game. So, it's a lot of content for completionists.

    I had fun for the most part. I found the story good at times but more bland in some parts. I'm a visual person and the below-average facial animations broke a bit my immersion in the story. That being said, Days Gone is way above average in term of good HDR impementation in a video game. If you have a good TV for HDR, you will be impressed by the graphics, especially the dynamic weather and how the lightning is implemented in this game.

    I'm giving Days Gone a 8,0/10 rating, which is good. I played on PS5 and with patches, it's dynamic 4k resolution with 60 FPS. Here are a few pros and cons for this game:

    Excellent graphics
    Crafting system, bike upgraded, survival mechanics are great
    I found the shooting to be smooth and enjoyable most of the time

    Killing hordes in late-game is tedious and not fun (for me...)
    There is a small lack of innovation (some may find the game generic)

    I understand that at the end of the day, it's just a company that wants to make money, but it's absolute fact that Days Gone 2 would make a lot of money. Easily, easily more than Horizon 2.     you actually made this game. Not making Days Gone 2 would be biggest mistake in entertainment history ever. Nothing else is even comparable.

    Sony is overall amazing company and i have huge respect for it, especially in recent years when you decided to bring your games to PC and by the way, you are doing it better than lots of other companies. You don't use Denuvo, your games always work and if they have bugs or technical problems, you make sure to fix them.

    But also, please understand that Horizon 2 was very mid game, i mean, is anyone even playing it anymore? Does anyone even care? Nobody is even talking about that game anymore. Games should be made, so people keep playing them, not for them to collect dust on shelves, just for some fanboys to say that they have the sequel too, even tho they never play it. God of War 2 was better, but let's face it, also mid. At the end of the day, it was pretty much same thing all over again as the first game. I'm not hating, but it wasn't anything phenomenal. So i'm asking seriously, what's next?

    Your only guaranteed hit is right now Spider-Man 2. This one will sell easy 20 million+. But other than that, you have nothing. I mean, you just keep making Horizon and God of War sequels endlessly? Bruh. Thanks to Days Gone PC release, there are so many new fans who want sequel to that game. This game got so much deserved respect after the PC release.

    So why Days Gone? you might ask. What is so special about this game? Well let me tell you.
    Days Gone has likable main character, if you don't like him, that's your personal issue and has nothing to do with him. Graphically, days gone is phenomenal, i could drive around the map for hours and enjoy these fantastic weather effects. ONLY game that does it equally good, is Red Dead Redemption 2.
    Now, bike mechanics and upgrading. I know some people hated it (also personal issue btw), but i love that system. Planning out the routes, before you start driving, making sure you have enough gas in your bike. Taking gas from actual gas stations (first game to ever do that) is amazing. This is exactly what survival game needs. I'm not saying every game needs stuff like that, i'm fine that i can drive endlessly in GTA, but in Days Gone, it's cool. Story, while i agree it keeps going for too long, is actually solid. It's not bad. All the mistakes could be fixed in sequel anyway. Map is very well designed, all the houses and buildings that you can explore, broken bridges, that small city area and so on. Everything has this perfect post-apocalyptic feeling. Hordes is amazing addition to this game and there's so much you could do with that in the sequel. Anyone who says that Days Gone is just another generic zombie game, has no idea what he/she is talking about. It's the BEST open-world zombie game ever made. Of course there could be argument, that Days Gone simply isn't the most mainstream game ever made, but in my opinion it's popular enough. Not everything needs to be Spider-Man. Even Alan Wake (huge fan btw) isn't as popular as Days Gone and even that game is getting a sequel.

    What could/should you do with the sequel?
    You could make it optional co-op, make both Sarah and Deacon playable in co-op. Make them go into big city to explore what's left of humanity, make them find out what has happened with rest of the world. Make them meet more survivors. Extend bike mechanics to boats, so you have to make sure you have enough gas canisters with you, before you go to sea. There could be mutated sharks and other sea creatures. Expand swimming/diving and so on...

    There is no other AAA open-world Zombie/survival game like Days Gone. NONE. This is the only game. Dying Light was decent game, but it's not even the same level, Days Gone is so much deeper and more complex. Dying Light 2 was awful. And if you really don't care about that game, just sell the rights to someone else, so someone else can make this masterpiece of a sequel. Sequel that fans actually want and are actually asking for.     Regret not picking this up at launch but glad I finally played it. It’s not a masterpiece but it is a big AAA survival action game with fun gameplay at its core. It definitely lacks variety but it kept me engaged due to well-written story and characters as well as performances. Would pre order a sequel but that’s probably not happening.

    I love Days Gone. I bought it day one, and though I had to wait for 15 hours to download the first patch, I had an amazing time. I beat it 3 times, in normal, hard and survival mode, which is the only way I play the game now. I love the story and characters. The world is fleshed out and the lore interesting. I loved crossing these desolate landscapes on my motorcycle and scavenging for gasI love Days Gone. I bought it day one, and though I had to wait for 15 hours to download the first patch, I had an amazing time. I beat it 3 times, in normal, hard and survival mode, which is the only way I play the game now. I love the story and characters. The world is fleshed out and the lore interesting. I loved crossing these desolate landscapes on my motorcycle and scavenging for gas and ammunition. I just wish there was a thirst and hunger mechanic in Survival Mode.

    Combat is nothing new but it works, it is basically a RE4 TPS. The mission system is not overwhelming as your map will not be filled with quest markers and it progresses organically. Upgrading the motorcycle is very satisfying. I felt attached to it very quickly and had a great time maintaining and customizing it. And there are the hordes. Man, the hordes...

    I would like to write a bit about the freaks. There are not zombies, and it is disapointed they were labeled as such when the game was released. Though it is true that they are infected people turned into violent and wild cannibals, they are very much alive and eat, sleep and drink. Take some time and follow a horde for a while. Sit quietly and observe their routine.

    The story is better than most people would like to admit, though in the end it will depend on your personal preferences.
    i honestly dig this story about a mourning broken man, and it makes sense because it justifies how brutal he is. Little stories in big worlds.

    The game also got a lot of support from the devs, who kept patching and improving it over the years.

    Literally created an account so that I could rate this game because it deserves way more praise than it initially received. One of my favorite open world games ever. Sure some of the writing can be a little cheesy at times, but it still makes you fall in love with the characters and want to dive into the story. Bend Studio thank you, and Sony WE WANT A SEQUEL!

    Days Gone is a masterpiece!!! 10/10 I fell in love with this game and want a sequel, we all want it!
    A story for fans of post-apocalyptic future scenarios. Tightens, you start to live in the game. Advice for those who haven't played, don't rush through the game quickly, enjoy every scene, watch the dialogue to the end, it's worth it.

    The game is that immersive I bought a PsS4 Pro and played. I'm not a player so you can imagine how good is this gamestory. Brilliant! Awesome! Thrilling! Exciting!

    Going to lost city and up the snowing was the my best part . killing hugh crow of undead and required thinking and place traps. So I'm happy if you have a PS5 you can Play it 4k at 60 fps or PC at amx setting.     I'll start off by saying that I found out about this game last year when a lot of drama was going on whether this game needed a sequel and that was legit the only reason I decided to pick this up. After about 188 hours (around 120 for the story twice and the remaining 68 for the challenges ) and picking up every single trophy available, I can definitely see why this game deserves a sequelI'll start off by saying that I found out about this game last year when a lot of drama was going on whether this game needed a sequel and that was legit the only reason I decided to pick this up. After about 188 hours (around 120 for the story twice and the remaining 68 for the challenges ) and picking up every single trophy available, I can definitely see why this game deserves a sequel because while it's definitely not the best PS exclusive I've played, it's great to the point where a sequel can really help people realize what a brilliant IP this is. I'll start off by saying by saying the story is a good one due to how it tries to understand what it feel like to deal with loss and how it could impact a person in a post apocalyptic world and it's overall a good story in concept. Inside the story sits a bunch of genuinely amazing zombie slasher ideas with the key highlight being the hordes as they are a LOT of FUN to take on since going in guns blazing isn't gonna work especially on the higher difficulties so you need to use every single resource you have to even have a small chance to take them on and when you do, it's unbelievably rewarding and satisfying since all that grinding you had to do feels earned and hard worked. The bike is exceptional since while it is weak in the beginning, when you max it out and use it to it's maximum potential, it becomes an extension of you whether it holds extra ammo for you for those extra tough hordes or even just calmly driving around beautiful and some of the nicest graphics for a PS4 available. The gameplay and shooting feel great and definitely better than The Last of Us Remastered but not in the same level as Part 2. Almost all of the characters are fine but the only reason they work is because of the performances given from the actors especially Deacon, Iron Mike, O'Brian, and Skizzo as they did an amazing job helping you feel something in a world as cruel as Days Gone. Add to this, the challenges you get in this game that include raid, bike, and horde ones with one that reminds me of the CoD Black Ops zombies mode for a good reason. But then we have the negatives, and the first I wanna talk about is the technical state, now I understand this game was met with an unbelievable amount of bugs, glitches, and performance problems but I played this on a PS4 Pro and I fully patched the game before playing so I can't comment on those aside from the performance problems since this game's framerate and even the sound quality TANK MASSIVELY in some of the bigger horde sections. There's also the fact even though most of the characters are decent, there are some characters that are downright TERRIBLE like Lisa who I feel should've been cut from the game entirely since she isn't fleshed out enough for me to feel like she actually deserves to be here, Carlos just exists as a leader for the Rippers and doesn't do anything beyond that, and we certainly don't talk about Tucker and Copeland as their performances don't even FEEL genuine. The UI is not bad, but there's a particular problem with it being how I try to pick something but it accidently picks something else and this is especially aggravating when you're fighting a horde and you want to pick something to fend off the horde so you pick it in a hurry but by the time you realize you picked the wrong thing, it's already too late and you're dead when it wasn't even your fault. But these problems pale in comparison to this games main problem and actually the main reason why I spent 120 hours with this game: the terrible pacing. This game's story was told badly since the story could've been cut in half and we would've had a significantly better game since this games terrible pacing is what makes this game this unnecessarily long, so much so I ALMOST felt exhausted in the end if it weren't for the fact the story was good. But to be fair, the games pacing does help out a little since you have to face the hordes later on and when you finally do get to take them on, the reason it's satisfying because all the hard work you did earlier paid off big time. Now with all that being said, there are definitely flaws in this game but they don't ruin the game overall as a whole and the game is still fun as a whole and I can definitely recommend it. So to answer the argument in the beginning, Yes I would argue this deserves a sequel and I hope Sony does more to this IP to give it the respect it deserves.… Expand

    Awesome game. This game feels like a great John Carpenter movie. Great story, beautiful graphics, amazing soundtrack/audio, amazing weather effects, cool environments, beautiful animations. One of the best post-apocalyptic games ever.

    Amazing game, thoroughly enjoyed it, and what and epic story. Great acting, engaging side quests, lots of suspense, and hunting hoards is a truly rewarding exercise. A must play on PS4 or PS5.

    At the beginning of the game you’ll feel like you've already played this game... then it will let you go for a while only to return with reinforcements (and lots of bugs). However, Days Gone has a couple of pleasant moments, that can't be denied. [Issue#295]

    I expect and hope for a sequel. Just know that going into this game that there is a lot of tedious nonsense to pad out a really good game to make it feel more worth every dollar, much to its detriment. I want to give this game a better score because the best moments are so good, but the large portion of this game is so bloody tiring that I just can’t.
