    "Let down of the year!" and that's coming from the year 2020 so it's saying a lot. This game is nothing it was promised to be 8yrs ago. Buggy, glitchy, crashing, hot mess of a game. It trys to be a bunch of things at once and misses the mark on all of them. The only thing I'll give this game credit for is the cityscape and the way it looks and feels. I want my money back yesterday!

    The worst performance and lies by this company. Story, characters, world, combat, mean nothing if the game doesn't work. Sony refuses to refund me of your purchase because you said there are two patch updates coming. **** you CD Projekt Red I'll never buy a game from you agakn.

    I'm honestly shocked how many unfair reviews and low rates are established! How many ungrateful people who depreciate such a the tremendous work done by the developers! Cyberpunk is one of the best games so far. I can see how much efforts were made. The idea, the plot, characters, all the details... the whole new world recreated in Cyberpunk shows us where we might be in the nearestI'm honestly shocked how many unfair reviews and low rates are established!     Let's be real it's not a game at the moment. It's a string of crashes and disappointment. The constant blue screens are inexcusable that the developers clearly didn't care about it's last gen audience when making the game. Make this a working product and then it will receive the reviews it deserves

    It's a wannabe Grand Theft Auto in the sense of an open world. NPC's walking to-and-fro, carjacking random cars and having an all out shootout with the police. It fails on every facet if you even try to compare it to GTA V.

    The NPC's are lifeless. They disappear the moment you are no longer looking at them. Vehicles fizzle in and out in front of your eyes, you'll see replicas of the same vehicle all over the place.

    The city is a ghost town in most areas. The wanted system is a joke. The Police spawn right next to you ala Grand Theft Auto Vice City. In GTA V at least they used some intelligence to try and find you. You could shake them off and not have 50 of them appear next to you in a split second.

    The blurriness is absurd, the excessive tearing, the god awful FPS... this game is an absolute nightmare from top to bottom.

    This is the first time in my life that I've ever gotten money back for a digital purchase of a game. The game is so awful in terms of bugs, fun factor... it's a lifeless, soulless husk of a game. Big ambitions with little substance and zero delivery.

    Worst game of 2020 as far as I'm concerned. I even tried it on PC... still an awful mess. Horrible game even with no bugs and crashes. Save your money for GTA VI that'll come out in half a decade from now.    … Expand

    Game is broken and unplayable a. They've never shown the ps4 footages. CDPR lied to gamers, I don't think I will ever buy a game from them. CDPR's business ethics and their attitude towards console players is absolutely disgusting.

    When it comes to technical fidelity playing on the PS4 this is certainly no masterclass. I have experienced multiple crashes and bugs (nothing game braking but generally annoying). The frame drops and graphical glitches are the most painful because once you slow your car down and give everything a chance to render the world is stunning. The story is compelling, the characters likable and fantastic voice acting to tie it all together. I have no doubt that in 6 months from now once the bugs are ironned out this will be a great game to pick up from scratch or go for 100% completion and explore the world. (At least that's my plan once I pick up a PS5). I wouldn't recommend picking this up in 2020 unless you are really keen on the story telling aspects but would definitely consider revisiting once CD Projekt Red have had a chance to patch the game a bit… Expand

If you don’t have a PS5 because you are not one of the chosen ones i’d say that you’re better off waiting for the new patches and see if those can improve the performance and gLiTcHeS/bugs/crashes on last gen.

    To be honest I was worried bout the bugs, glitches and kinda typical non-fabular quests but after my first experience with Cyberpunk I realized how good it is. I admire whole main plot, world creation etc. My rating is based on game in December so I’m still waiting for January patch. I hope maybe some improvements are going to get better my judgement

    The best story since a long time, yes the technical problems are hurt a lot but, i love the insentinsive of the Story. Short and on the point! not like other 100 hours boring open world games. If you a oldschool gamer you dont think that this problems are so terrible i mean look after Gothic 3 this was more terrible but a game with charakter

    Cyberpunk 2077 is an incredible game, even with all its technical problems of launching the game is capable of producing an immersive and unique experience like no other game produced so far, with time and due corrections Cyber​punk 2077 will become one of best games of the last generation of console.

Besides the whole visual, audio glitches and even the dialogue glitches, and crashes.....     I'd give it one point because the bugs have been entertaining me all week, but then I remember the poor devs were crunched to **** and back for months for a game that is so unplayable that it's been pulled from the PS4 store.

    Heart goes out to the devs, and all the people that bought this on console just wanting to play a game they were looking forward to. I'd say I'd hope everyone's learned a valuable lesson about treating a game as a masterpiece before it comes out but fat chance of that happening.

    It also needs updating and especially that the keyboard shortcuts are free ... xD But after that it is a very good games. It has a good and dynamic history. The lifespan is more than good in a straight line and I think with all the side quests probably 100+ hours easy. The ray tracing effects are really nice too It also    Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that requires a good PC.

    But after that it is a very good games.

    Игра ахриненная только езда на автомобиле подкачала и много багов, а так это игра года офигенный сюжет и побочки, нормальная стрельба и прокачка персонажа, могу одно сказать ,кто играл в ведьмака тому точно зайдёт, кто нет, пройдите его ,и идите играть в cyberpunk если зашел ведьмак.     I'm fortunate enough to own a PS4pro and PS5 so I haven't experienced the games glitches as such, therefore my experience with this game is awesome. Its one of the best games I've played this year, only thing now is life gets in the way of any gaming marathons beyond 2hrs.....

    Genuinely one of the most fun single player games i've had the pleasure of playing in a long time. i find myself doing mostly side quests, just because i don't want the game to end any time soon. With every finished side quest, 2 or 3 more take its place. graphical glitches are minor and really not much to complain about. only 3 game crashes in 17 hours of playtime, and the problem wasGenuinely one of the most fun single player games i've had the pleasure of playing in a long time. i find myself doing mostly side quests, just because i don't want the game to end any time soon.     I’ve decided to make an account and write a review (first time ever!) after playing the game and seeing the negative reviews. Some of the reviews seem overly harsh. This game is amazing. I am also not too fussed about the technical aspects of a game in that as long as I’m having fun and I can’t stop thinking about the game, then it’s a great game in my book. The good:
    - The story, characters and world building of the game is fantastic. The characters are well developed with deep backstories and personalities. You will love, hate, emphasise and sympathise with many of the characters you’ll encounter throughout V’s journey. The experience is bolstered by the excellent voice acting of the cast. - You can tell how much thought has actually gone into the game based on the details contained therein. The dialogues of random NPCs, quirky weapons (Skippy and the **** club (yes you read that right)), slangs/languages specific to the world setting all make the game memorable and immersive. - Plenty of side quests with some compelling stories and things to do around the world.
    - How cool is the BD editing mode?

    The bad:
    - You cannot change any aspect of your character’s - The world feels a little empty at times. There aren’t that many NPCs and cars roaming around the city relative to the size of Night City which is supposed to be a metropolis in the future. Hopefully world density can be included in the PS5 version as an option. - Combat is pretty easy especially if you play stealth. Some of the segments are also a bit...odd - in certain segments where you have an NPC accompanying you, the enemy AIs will not “spot” your NPC ally even if they are literally in front of them.
    - I have encountered some very minor bugs that are not worth mentioning. However, the game does crash at least once every 2 hours or so which is a bit annoying. Not a deal breaker for me though. - The graphics do seem a little dated as well. That aspect alone doesn’t feel like a 2020 game. Though it is understandable considering the size of the open world.
    - Not sure why they decided to spoil Jackie’s fate in the trailer. Would’ve been a strong emotional impact given he’s a really loveable character. At the end of the day, I am having so much fun playing this game and I can’t stop thinking about it when I’m at work, in the shower, and on the tinnie. Also, given this is from the creator of Witcher 3, I am confident that the bugs will be smoothed out over time (which are not even game breaking in my experience) and that we’ll be treated to expansions / DLCs that could be considered as standalone games in their own right. I see some negative commentary re employee treatment and crunch time towards launch but I work in banking so meh. Definitely worth it for the A$79 I paid. I fully heartedly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys story-driven open world RPGs.    … Expand

    Way better than given credit, Amazing Graphics, Fun Combat and the bugs aren't even bad and most of the time don't prevent progression and can be reloaded if it does. Frame rate can drop occasionally but its not terrible and its still good. Amazing story.

Коротко PS4 pro: баги, вылеты, лютое мыло, катастрофически низкий фпс (в городе и при езде) патч 1.05. Такую игру нельзя было выпускать, это не уважение к игрокам со стороны CD projekt red. Спасибо большое что хотя б сняли с продажи да и возвращаете деньги игрокам.     The story is amazing and engaging. The world is beautiful and DENSE, when you look up sometimes you cannot see the sky, and there are things to do everywhere. The gameplay loop is fun with most of my enjoyment coming from upgrading cyberware.

    All in all the game probably deserves a 9. I am giving it a ten because of all the echos about a broken game that I know are 100% false beacuse I have had the game since day one. I don't know why people want to hate on CDPR so much but its not because this game is terrible.    … Expand

I am so upset that CDPR had so many exciting ideas and the setting was promised to be outstanding but all the technical issues just destroyed the whole game. I am giving 3 to this game just because CDPR tried to create an interesting world with new features. So sad that the game wasUnfortunately, the game is unplayable on PS4 Pro.     Unbelievably boring, clunky, and honestly the screen hurts my eyeballs, gave me a light headache. I seriously do not care what is going on in the story and I don't look forward to the combat either. The UI is awful awful awful and some text is almost too small to read despite having a 55" TV.

    There is undoubtedly potential for a really good game. However in its current state, we have a glitchy, broken mess. It feels like an alpha build that needs another 12-18 months development. Very basic AI, crashes every few hours and extremely repetitive side missions.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really wanted to love this game. It is not a case where a game just as a few good moments that stand out. No, at the the core of this game, it is something special. There is a fantastic game here, just one issue. But, I will get to that later. I will talk about positives. Like I said, the story was way more compelling than I thought it would be. The promo made it seem like it was going to be pure edgelord futuristic stuff, but there are some very emotional moments. Cute little moments that will make you smile, to very dark and introspective moments that will get you thinking more. There are great themes about power, corruption, corporation, what it means to be human, hope. Another big surprise was how fantastic these side quests were. I am not exaggerating when I say that this game had some of the most quality side quests in any game I have played in recent memory. The writing and characterization was also really good too. I don't know how they did it, but a good portion of the characters were so likeable. The only character I was letdown with was Johnny Silverhand, and it is mostly with his performance by Keanu Reeves. Keanu seems like such a nice guy, but his performance here was kind of flat. It is sad because the character himself has a lot of depth. At first he just comes off as a jerk that just makes fun of you, but after a while he becomes someon that you grow a significant attachment to. I just wish they would have directed him more to have a more compelling performance. The gunplay was also surprisingly fun, along with the melees and what you can do with your cybernetics. My only gripe with the gameplay was that the driving kind of sucked. Most of the time I would have rather just walked to my objectives, or walk to a fast travel point to go nearby the objective. On the basis of the things I love about this game, I would have given this game a 9, maybe a 10 on a good sunny day. With that being said, I gave this game a 3 for a reason.
    This is where I talk about the big buggy elephant in the room: the technical performances. The technical performances are honestly god awful. While my experiences were not as bad as people's during launch, it was still a pain to go through. I'm talking random deaths when I platform, healthbars of bosses I already killed not leaving my screen, people I call that won't hangup, and don't get me started with the crashes. For context, I played this game on a PS5. I put in a good 70 hours in my playthrough where I did all the side gigs, the NCPD crime activity missions, and the main story itself. During that playthrough, I must have had at least 20 crashes. Some of these crashes would happen at a point in the game where it was a moving moment. For example, at the game credits, the characters you meet will all send you cute voicemails sending their regards. I was enjoying this little moment until my game just crashed for no reason. I am forgiving when it comes to minor technical issues, but this game was really testing my patience. It was almost like it did not want me to have fun at some points.
    Another thing I am disappointed with was how CDPR managed to tell so many lies about this game. I was so excited about things that were teased such as more interaction with the city, property buying, etc. Most of these things did not show up at the end. While Night City is a pretty beautiful setting, something about it just doesn't feel right. I feel like Night City is more dead than it was planned to be. I was ready to immerse myself and enjoy the setting, but I just ended up forgetting about it and went ahead with the story.
    With this being said, I have hope this game will be better. It will need a lot though. I am hoping this game will be completely different by the end of the year, with the PS5 upgrade, the DLCs, and especially the patch updates. I also hope the DLCs expound more on the endings. I got the star ending, which is considered the best, yet it was still very much bleak and moving. Feels like it is a story worth continuing.
    While I had lots of fun, it was a frustrating experience. I hope that later this year, I can return to this game, and have a way better experience. Maybe it will get the 9 it should have gotten before.    … Expand

Such a wasted potential because it has some great ideas. Just executed badly and now that its known to be such a failure of a game it makes me not even wanna play it again. Story, and everything was bad. Pass on it

    This game was dissapointing, atleast on the platform I played on it, it was so buggy even after the most recent releases I just never got that far and resorted to watching youtuber/streamers play it, overall this is a bad game and I'm dissapointed in CD projekt red, I hope to see improvements for the future and I will change my score of it gets any better

    Absolutely broken and frustrating to play. You’ll have to do the same missions over and over again because something will break at some point before you’re done. And even without bugs, it’s just a mediocre game. Combat is ok (guns are pretty good, but melee is awful), driving is terrible, 80% of the skill tree is useless, and most of the missions are bland, generic open-world filler thatAbsolutely broken and frustrating to play. You’ll have to do the same missions over and over again because something will break at some point before you’re done. And even without bugs, it’s just a mediocre game. Combat is ok (guns are pretty good, but melee is awful), driving is terrible, 80% of the skill tree is useless, and most of the missions are bland, generic open-world filler that you can find in dozens of AAA games every single year. The only redeeming qualities are the setting is pretty cool and some of the main missions are actually pretty fun.     ich Habe cyberpunk 2077 auf meiner 2 jahre alten ps4 gezockt ich hab mich am anfang echt gewundert was alle daran so schlimm fanden aber wenn mann weiter ins Spiel geht (damit mein ich den story fortschritt findet mann umso mehr bugs grafik fehler und glitches deshalb finde ich es schade das sie sich nicht mer mühe gemacht haben umd das spiel noch zu verbessern

    Horrendous game. A total scam and not worth a single penny. CDPR has gone greedy with this one. Lost all my trust in them and am incredibly disappointed. Don't buy the game, even after 5 months since its release, it is still broken and unplayable. Disgraceful and unacceptable.

    Plus the CEO did some false advertising too!
    The FPS on PS4 is super low.
    What was the development cycle? How did they make a broken and buggy mess!
    On the upside, the PC version is actually better than the console versions...... what?

Still so 6 months after it’s come out there’s been 0 word & barely any qol updates, my game was never breaking every minute but in a recent re-play through there were so many glitches, even if it was kinda minor things that took me out of the story, whether it being my jacket stuck to my chair and my body in the suicide ending, or just crashing for no reason. I really wanted to like this game and it sucks cause you can tell there’s a lot of love put into some parts.… Expand

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
