    Let's be real it's not a game at the moment. It's a string of crashes and disappointment. The constant blue screens are inexcusable that the developers clearly didn't care about it's last gen audience when making the game. Make this a working product and then it will receive the reviews it deserves

    I can't believe those guys who created great Witcher, done this awful crup. Even a story is not addicted, i tryed to play, about 12 h, but I gave up, unplayable.

    lets be honest, the real problem with this game is not the game, its how Sony, MS, CDProject and WB just steal money from millions of consoles players on basic PS4 and XOBOX one. Dont believe the fake news medias telling us that this game is next gen and its why the PS$ pro cant handle it. Even on PC its not visually or by designa next gen game. On PS4, games like Ghosts of Tsushima arelets be honest, the real problem with this game is not the game, its how Sony, MS, CDProject and WB just steal money from millions of consoles players on basic PS4 and XOBOX one. On PS4, games like Ghosts of Tsushima are 10 times better in graphic, crowd management, frame rates than cyberpunk. Its also 3-4 times longer. What about doom eternal or the super good looking MK 11? Ultra fast and ultra beautiful? Or the last of us 2? All those game are better looking than cyberpunk on max setting on a PC. The AI is not bad...its plain wrong. Everything feels like CD project didnt care anymore...they knew already that they were going to get 500 millions just with preorders...Its sad, cause the only thing really good with this game is the writings and the ideas...but since Sony refused to refund me after I played only 2 hours of this mess of a game...I cannot put more than a 0!… Expand

    Absolute **** garbage of a game. 8 years in the work for this is just depressing. The game is empty, just a hollow shell infested with bugs and terrible fps paired with terrible graphics. So many promises made none actually achieved.

    Any product that DOES NOT WORK properly on day 1 of its release is unacceptable. This is the problem with a lot of AAA modern games in general these days (looking at you No Man's Sky and Fallout 76). Cyberpunk gets a 0/10 until the game is actually playable. It isn't too much to ask for my $60 PS4 game to not look like a PS2 game.

    It will be a decent game if we were in 2012...worst money spend this year... Big regret... And for my hype it was a disaster... Never ever I will buy again a game from this clowns...     I'd give it one point because the bugs have been entertaining me all week, but then I remember the poor devs were crunched to **** and back for months for a game that is so unplayable that it's been pulled from the PS4 store.

    Heart goes out to the devs, and all the people that bought this on console just wanting to play a game they were looking forward to. I'd say I'd hope everyone's learned a valuable lesson about treating a game as a masterpiece before it comes out but fat chance of that happening.

    My first review, and this game is a sample of everything wrong with industry. Worse release, deception and game performance ever. Cant play for more than 15 mins before a crash occurs. I hope i get my refund but regardless, never again will i trust a gaming company.

    First, let me say the glitches were my favorite part of this game. In fact it was probably the only thing that kept me playing long enough to get through the main story, which is absurdly short. I'm actually upset that the glitches have distracted so many people from the real issues with this ostensibly terrible game. The world building is great and beautiful, despite all of the bugs, even on the PS4. But the beauty is skin deep and the city is dead everywhere you look. There is virtually no NPC AI and NPCs will despawn when you aren't looking at them, even if you just turn your head. The story was not engaging or original. In fact it was downright hard to follow at times, which lead to completing missions without fully knowing why you were doing them. Although, every mission was essentially the same anyways so it didn't matter in the end. Simply go to this place, shoot the bad people and either steal this thing or kill this person, rinse and repeat. I felt very little interest in continuing the story and kept hoping I would simply get past this boring section and get to something I would feel more invested in, but after just a few short missions later I was seeing the end credits. If this is meant to be a RPG, there are very few roleplaying elements, yes there is a character creator, but the options are limited and once you have created the character you can't even change their haircut in game. There is an illusion of choice with dialogue options but no matter which option you choose the end result is almost always the same. Even the choice at the beginning of which "lifepath" which is essentially just a single mission and a cut scene which leaves you to start the game at exactly the same place as the other lifepaths, with the occasional dialogue option in the future. The single redeeming quality in this game is the beautiful world that was created, which has nothing at all for you to do in it besides wander around taking selfies with your character, which is totally fine if that is how it had been marketed and presented, but promising a gamer a "next gen game" with an "immersive world" with "story changing character choices" is not only inaccurate, but in my view approaches on downright fraud to the consumer.

    TLDR: Cyberpunk is an instagram background simulator, with a few side missions included.    … Expand

    Not only do the glitches and system crashing bugs make this game unplayable, the game itself just sucks. Nothing that is promised in any of the demos is in this game. It's not an RPG by any stretch. It's a movie that let's you control the shooting.

    This is the first game I have ever reviewed on Metacritic. My first experience with pre-sale, and last...at least for CDPR. Absolutely not a playable game with graphics which is not better than Half-Life 2. Today I requested a full refund and even do not plan to buy this piece of **** in the future. Totally disrespect from CDPR was addressed to all peoples who were waiting hyped set of bugs

    It is truly shameful that the company continues to make fun of consumers by promising updates that will not be able to improve the gaming experience in the slightest.

    Personally, I will never buy a full-price Red Projekt CD product again, and certainly not at launch. IF I buy another game of theirs in the future, even if it is done well and without problems, I will never buy it at full price, I prefer to wait to buy a copy used in some online ad.

    Finally I would like to say a few words about their apologetic messages: they don't work. Only the deluded would believe your words, since you preferred to SCAM and sell a poor product rather than cutting out the old-gen. Keep the money from the launch, from the pre-orders, it will be the last you will earn.

What we got was a under cooked, buggy, run of the mill game with missing systems. We were told NPCs would hunt you down if your playthrough crossed their 'story arc'. NONESENSE!!     First time I ever got a game refunded, the shop didn't even discuss it. Unplayable on PS4, on a 4K TV, the blurriness and low frame rate made nauseous. FPS dips real low in combat or when driving, textures do not load. Other recent video games looked and ran well on base PS4, this is a disgrace.

    на AMD 3200G + RX590. фпс 15-18. в патче 1.05 разработанном вместе с AMD фпс упал до 12-14. становится только хуже. вот решил оставить гневную оценку.

    Some music for location was great, like Afterlife. Some music was not so great. However, the Radio option does let you change music preferences. Compared to Witcher 3 such as Priscilla's song music disappoints or at least doesn’t compare.

    Audio. Various issues of lips moving or not moving when words coming out. Other than Johnny, I found the audio voices overall lackluster and not impressive. Also, many, many times I was in middle of conversation and someone buzzed in on phone or many dialogues going at same time.

    Graphics/Gameplay
    Some video cut scenes seem sloppily and hastily put together. Scenes such as picking up glass to drink appear in your arm not hand and nothing pours out of glass. Characters in streets- I saw the exact same person walking by each other many, many times. Difficulty at normal is too easy. I got to the max. street level of 50 really quick in the game, too quickly. A couple of the quests were sick and depraved, but I expected a whole lot more as this is a fallen world with dystopian punk criminal evil corporatism etc… A big problem I have with gameplay is the characters and people walking around. There are ZERO options to engage or talk…to any of them. I remember in Witcher 3 being in a random village and being able to at least have some minor conversations with random NPC's.

    Abilities/Cyberware
    Why do you get athletics points for simply standing up from a couch? Laughable. Completely do NOT get the whole BD thing. For investigative purposes, sure. Why do you have an interface and can't use it? Why buy BD movies that can't be used? Cyberware options were a lot more limited than I expected and only a few were really useful. I could have done without almost all of them. Ability trees could use improvement. I only found a few interesting and

    Religious tone
    CDPR should be ashamed! Its one thing if they pick on everyone and all religions equally but they don’t! Let me give some examples:
    - at one point you can "recite the lord's prayer? But not really just part of it.
    - One fixer said "exact justice) killing) on behalf of our Lord." Come on…
    - Billboards everywhere of "The passion." CDPR intentionally mocked and degraded Jesus' crucifixion through a storyline I wont go into. This was insulting to Christianity but since its Christianity it doesn’t matter.
    - The gun Skippy says a line like "according to Christian doctrine you are going to burn in hell." Why does CDPR keep twisting and referring to Christian doctrine?
    - One scene asked type of food you want, tofu, fish or locust peperoni. They make a specific, intentional effort to avoid pork. Why? We know why, Muslims will be up in arms.
    Continual attack on Christianity. OK. So lets see… is anything negative said of inferred about Islam? HELL NO.
    Political Correctness
    Really didn’t expect this from CDPR, at least not to the extent they went to.
    In clubs saw NPC girls holding hands yet nowhere did I see a man/women doing this. I saw one all-male strip club with only males in it. The other clubs were NOT all female ones. There were a LOT of homosexual only relationships…more that hetero. Why get involved in this at all…why not make sex indifferential? Because CDPR is trying to blatantly force new PC'ness down your throat.

    Creation of a woman with penis? Really? NPC talking about gender transitions. Females with male voices. I didn’t see a true multicultural environment. Most of NPC and voices were Chinese. It seems like the tried to take ethnicities and blend them into one color. I get CDPR is based in Poland and may hate USA. I am okay with the whole corporate "evilness" in Cyberpunk. However, why are there so many "gangs" with USA like flags and they are compared to terrorists?

    Romance Options
    What a 100% complete let down. I remember back to old games like BG2 and the romance development over time with Aerie. That was awesome and real. Nothing in Cyberpunk feels like a romance. There are no deep storylines that seem to organically grow over time. CDPR is too intent on trying to be PC and "diverse" and lost focus on just making good romance stories and characters.
    Misc.
    - Need autoloot function.
    - Computers. Why the Net option? There is nothing to explore?
    - there are vending machines EVERYWHERE. Why? Not helpful.
    - Item weight limit bother.
    - card pickups everywhere. WHY? Make them more important
    - Its clear CDPR rushed this game out too soon and did not polish it. In fact, I question if any beta testing was even done.
    Overall Conclusion/Thought on game

If you steal something and get caught, someone will come for you. If you kill an NPC, some NPCs will run, some will try to kill you and/or some will call the guards or police. NPCs have basic routines, they go to sleep, to work, to the bar, even if its the same routine everyday. You can see patrols walking the roads, monsters attacking travelers, interactive merchants. Non-scripted emerging situations, or at least well-scripted routines

    This game was advertised as the next generation of open-world RPGs. Thousands of NPCs with routines and advanced AI. Multiple lifepaths that would shape the decisions and playstyle. I didn't jump on the hype train because I was expecting something similar to The Witcher or Bethesda RPGs in a cyberpunk setting (at least, considering the 8 years of development and budget). That would've been great. Instead we got a toned down GTA/Destiny, an action adventure looter-shooter set in a cyberpunk theater mockup, where NPCs all react the same way when in danger, say 2 or 3 lines and walk aimlessly until they vanish in thin air in front of you. Police materializes in front of you as soon as you aim your gun to any brainless NPC. Escape with your car (defenseless because you can't shoot and drive) and they disappear after 5 seconds. You can steal from other people's stashes in front of them and they won't care. Drink or food vendors don't even have specific dialogue and they don't even sell anything. The list goes on.

    These are not "bugs", "features" or "part of the lore", this is false advertising, design flaw or just plain laziness. Missing AI can't be just patched or included in a DLC. I can stand the gamebreaking bugs, bad performance or the hilarious animations. I can't stand an open world shooter being advertised as a full-fledged open world RPG that doesn't have the basic gameplay mechanics that games from 2008 already have.

    "Night City" is just a big loading screen between quests that is just sitting there for pretty RTX screenshots. Hell, even the on-rails Mass Effect with its tiny planets and hand-crafted stations felt more alive and purposeful. I play RPGs because they are like interactive books, most of the are belieavable enough that let you get lost in them. If I wanted to play a brainless shooter, I'd play Destiny.    … Expand

    Anyone who rates the current version of this game above a zero is lying to themselves and you. I've lost count of the bugs and crashes. The mini-map is way too small. The combat is terrible. You can't adjust the settings. If you try you'll get stuck in the settings menu and be forced to restart the game. This game was released way too early. Simply terrible. Unplayable really.

    Crashes every 30 mins even after numerous updates. Graphics are poor, game is filled with bugs which hinder progress and destroy immersion. Combat is clunky and horrendous. NPC AI is laughable. Night city is a huge let down, corners have been cut everywhere. Overall, a major let down and fail of a game.

    the bad: a lot of the story and side story is really cliche, sometimes cringey. police in game are atrocious. UI is terrible, game will freeze momentarily when you equip/unequip or transfer items to stroage. game will drop to 1 fps when autosaving, and 10-15 in crowded combat. MASSIVE amounts of content were obviously cut from the game. genital customizing was added for marketing purposes only, can only be viewed in character creation or equipment screen. character creation has an hd model while the playable character model is really bad pixelated model that looks like an imitation of the one you try to create. crafting in game is unnecessarily hard, grindy. filled with bugs, even after patches. the characters themselves are cringey and poorly written. the gane feels like GTA V or Fallout 4, but both those games offer far better experiences. the game obviously needed more time in development, maybe a few years or more. it all gets boring very quickly. i recommend you skip this game entirely, on every console/pc. not worth your time.    … Expand

    7 years of hype for nothing... That game is broken huge problems in the ps4. Don't buy it.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
