    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Game looks horrible, tons of glitches, and the most annoying is the movement and joystick stickiness. Can’t even walk down street without feeling like movement from both sticks are pulling you in different directions, not to mention “menu screens” it’s a game in itself trying to move the cursor over any option as it loves to rush to the top of the screen on its own. So many side missions it’s easy to get lost in the over ambitious story line(s). And I’m writing this after the 1.04 patch. Please please please work on more patches and FIX this game. Or CDPR should not have offered this as PS4 or Xbox one game, and waited for next generation consoles and PC only. Guess GREED pushes us beyond our means. If they fix the game for ps4 and Xbox with patches over he next month or so then it’s just a matter of too much too soon, if they don’t and or can not fix it. Then shame on CDPR and I will get my $60 back and just wait for PS5 version.… Expand

    The game is not finished, not playable: in its current state it's just broken.
    Yet digital copies for whatever reason are 'not refundable' : this is just FRAUD.

    DO NOT BUY CONSOLE VERSIONS

    Cyberpunk 2077 is the gaming equivalent of the unfinished hotel from hell. The game is beyond broken on the base PS4.     It’s no exaggeration to say that CDPR has deceived all of its loyal PS4 and Xbox One users who put their trust in the company and pre-ordered what they were lead to believe would be a fantastic game. It’s a disgrace and CDPR should be ashamed of itself.

    There are a number of gamers defending the title by telling owners of the base PS4 and Xbox One consoles to upgrade to a next gen console. This is an indefensible argument. Firstly, the PS5 is unavailable everywhere in the UK at the time of writing. Secondly, the game was in development for a PS4 release long before the PS5’s launch was even announced.

    I am currently pursuing a refund via the PIaystation Store. I am not holding out much hope, but I will never again pre-order a game or trust and support CDPR. In the meantime, I may go back and replay 2016's Deus Ex: Mankind Divided: A futuristic dystopian world featuring multiple path choices, tons of character upgrades...sound familiar?    … Expand

    It's unplayable, too many bugs, glitches and crashes. It's a shame and one of the biggest disappointment I ever had as a consumer and probably the worst experience as a player.

    Unplayable on PS4. Gunplay feels unpolished, melee is boring, hacking gets old quickly, UI is frustrating, AI is stupid and massive lack of depth (for example, you can even customise the colour of cars you buy). An incredibly fascinating universe ruined by poor execution. Everyone fell in love with Mike Pondsmith’s universe, but hates CDPR’s shoddy execution of that vision. Do not buy.

    An unplayable mess and failure in every way a game can exist. When it works (and it rarely does) it's visual soup, just a blurred mess where it's difficult to tell what you're looking at. Enemies, friendlies, and walls all look like the same green mush. It's filled with a plethora of glitches and soft locks.     I pre-ordered this game because of the huge trust in CD PROJEKT RED.They promised that the game will be good on the PS4 and Xbox ONE consoles. I would never have believed that such a company could cheat their fans for money.

    Dear CDPR When you advertise a game as being playable on Ps4, then that means 1080p and 30fps on base consoles. So either do that or don't release it on these consoles. I hope you fix it soon.

    Dumpster fire. Playing the ps4 version bc on my ps5 and the story and leveling are amazing. But the gameplay, controls and graphics are garbage and riddle with bugs. Gave me motion sickness too, turned off motion blur and film grain hoping to help but something about the character movement messes with my head. Driving is horrible as well. How has this been in development since 2013?

    Sony please remove CyberPunk 2077 from PlayStation Store on PS4 - this game requires way more powerful machine. It is impossible to play the game now - poor picture quality, low frame rate, view distance is terrible. Huge disappointment!

    Completely unplayable garbage. As soon as you try to get in car and drive the resolution samples down to 360 and everything stutters. Combat is a little bit better but still bad beyond belief. Considering the posted "ps4 gameplay trailer" this is a blatant example of false marketing.

    Un gioco che per quanto riguarda le ps4 standard si puo definire solo "orrendo" per grafica bug e problemi vari, di conseguenza vanno a influire sul gameplay in primis e purtroppo distolgono da una storia ben strutturata e accattivante. Una delusione derivata da un marketing fuorviante e scelte non oneste da parte della software house.

    Completely unplayable on a PS4 Pro. Had to push all of my settings down to the lowest settings and even then, I've had error CE-34878-0 pop up at least 20 times in the short time I had the game on. Zero support from Playstation and no response from the developer. Terrible. I created a brand new Metacritic account just to share this because I'm THAT frustrated.

However the amount of cut content and lies from the developer about features that aren't present on any version of the game are unacceptable. With the animals that were shown on gameplay demos stealth is impossible as every enemy is alerted by a body when there couldn't be any line of sight at all. So I thought fine I'll play the only way that was clearly developed and shoot everyone but 4 times in a row I have camped in a room and the AI would spawn 4 jacked animals behind me and I'm dead.

    those written positive reviews are probably written for the PC, no absolute way they are for ps4, it runs like its on a PS2, pop ins, bad graphics, crashes total **** If you are in Australia get your refund- should be quick and easy since we have one of if not the best consumer rights in the world! Functions such as exiting a vehicle not able to be used for no reason. Overall even when textures had loaded there was just a soft to the appearence of the game like something from PS2 era games.     Купил игру на ps4 за 4000р а получил нерабочий, багованый кусок кода.
    Играл на slim и pro версиях и даже 30 fps нет постоянные просадки до 20 fps
    ужасная мыльная графика которая режет глаза.

    Unplayable. My game is glitchy to the point of being too frustrating to even play, my partner’s copy was doing OK but encountered a game breaking glitch. Don’t buy this. CDPR are scammers in my eyes now

    This game looks disgusting, the bugs aren't even the biggest problem for me, it's how grainy and blurry everything looks. Also that weird blurr around npcs is ridiculous, I understand that games can have bugs and bad jujus on release but damn this is just a sea of nopes and we're sinking in it

Completely filled with bugs & frame rate drops to the point where I just had to admit defeat and give up. Obviously my expectations were not PC graphics etc but this game was originally supposed to release before the PS5 & XboxSeries S|XSuch a shame.     was lucky enough to buy this game from eb games physically and was able to return it for a bunch of gift cards spent on games from 2013 like tomb raider and ni no kuni with better **** graphics and gameplay. one of the biggest failures in gaming entertainment

But there's obviously a catch. The game is basically unplayable on consoles. Even with the new patch 1.04, there are several glitches, bugs and crashes. The resolution is very low and just looks blurry, even on PS4 Pro. It's mostly 720p on base PS4 with very unstable 30fps. As a computer science student, who also wants to pursue a career in the gaming industry, it hurts to see such an unoptimized game. I know that the gaming industry has a big problem with crunch hours, leading developers to have burnouts etc. This needs to stop. This game was teased before the PS4 was even out and it's extremely disrespectful to scam customers like this. It was clearly targeted for PC first, which isn't a problem, but thinking gamers will be content with the console version, is just selfish. And I can't support those conditions. As long as the game runs like I'm playing on a potato, I won't recommend giving this game a high score, otherwise they won't learn from this. At this state, do not buy this game! I'm so sad for the players around the world who were looking forward to playing this amazing game, but instead they were the ones, who got played instead. The industry needs to change, so this won't be repeated again. I hope people can prove me wrong in the future.… Expand

The police system is a disgrace lightyears away from someting like GTA5. Driving feels floaty and unpolished while combat is mediocre at best. The RPG elements are boring and feel unnecesary.     Feel sorry for those who actually bought this game on ps4. I've got a PC for a price the same as ps4 but the game runs the way better on it. I don't know how it's possible but I'm really sorry for those who has to play in such conditions. Hope it'll be fixed soon

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
