    Graphics and resolution are unacceptable. Seriously, how do you mess up this bad? Game is amazing in every other aspect, but how am I supposed enjoy the game at 144p? This doesn't deserve a 0 out of 10, I'm only giving it a zero so that CD Projekt Red can take heed of all us disappointed consumers and strive to make the game at least presentable, as quickly as possible.

    Never review a game until now. Absolute scam at this point, the game is unplayable, 15 frames per second at some situations. 25 fps at normal on the open world setting. It is horrible, looks bad, games bad. It is very dishonest from CDPR to advertise this game with PC visuals promising a PS4 and XBox one experience, consoles were the platform where the game was supposed to come out.Never review a game until now.     I feel banning pre-launch date reviews of the ps4 version was fraudulent and clearly just a money grab.

    Very disappointing and I would like a refund.

All I need to point out to prove my point is that Red Dead Redemption 2, Uncharted 4,To everyone saying, "Well, you shouldn't be trying to play this game on a base PS4/XBOX One, that's why it looks like crap." All I need to point out to prove my point is that Red Dead Redemption 2, Uncharted 4, and God of War for example, all look PHENOMENAL on a base PS4. Drastically better than this game does, and they run smoothly. If this game wasn't going to run well on the previous generation, that should have been blatantly advertised, but there's no excuse why this brand new "next gen" game should look WORSE than an older game like Uncharted 4. It's blurry, it's choppy, it's hideous and hurts my eyes even with settings changed. Again, games like Uncharted 4 or RDR2 DON'T LOOK LIKE THAT. And all you people acting like the game is perfect on PS5 or PC are ignoring the severe issues in the game itself. It's poorly made. There are TYPOS in the city, t-posing npc's, standing while riding a bike, Jackie doesn't even turn the wheel when he's driving for crying out loud and that's not even scratching the surface of it. The company spent more on the marketing than the actual game, and it shows. Not to mention, the character creator was NOT what was advertised. The options for male V are absolutely ridiculous and he cannot look even remotely as realistic or cool as he did in ANY of the promos. And you can't change your hair? Even a character on GTAV can change their appearance whenever they want to. This game has been a massive disappointment and an example of how hype, bloated marketing, and false advertising can make a company a massive amount of money while screwing over all of its fans.… Expand

    Sad that this has been released in this buggy state, because the world, story and mechanics of it are good. Going to park it on my shelf while they fix the bugs and hopefully enjoy it again when my PS5 arrives. Stay away for now.

    This game has a lot of good things: the world seems to be well made, the combat is well designed (way better than other rpg games like fallout for example) and the level up system is pretty complex and can change a lot of how you play with different characters. The fact that they saw the state of the game and still decided to sell it full price on ps4 and xbox one is mind blowing. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IT'S ACTUALLY UNPLAYABLE… Expand

    Cyberpunk 2077 is completely not playable! Frame rate drops, stuttering and crashesh. The graphics is so downgraded that it looks and feels more like PS3 game. It shouldn't be released on last gen consoles.

    The biggest issue though is totally non-existent AI. The NPCs run on a script, ruining any possible sense of immersion. Lifepaths mean very little, and the city feels like one big, empty cutscene. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) seems more advanced.

    what they launched is HALF of what they PROMISED. Clearly THE CONTENT IS TRIMMED. This city is not a “night” city. It is a “dead” city with full of crappy npc’s who can’t even drive a car. Character customization is a nostalgic revolution I guess... It made me remember my fallout 3 days!!! The city is hollow!

    No weapon or car customization No in game character customization No in game world interaction
    It is a bunch of lifeless open world that only looks only a bit alive if you go through the story or the side quests. Have you seen car physics? It is a joke. When you hit the car the damage on it is like gta vice city. When you hit another car npcs just wait there do nothing.

    Some people say, at least the city looks good. But GUESS what? Since this company TRICKED us, we can’t see anything but GTA 3 Liberty City on the screen...

    Long story short I’M NOT SAYING “WAIT FOR A FEW MONTHS TO BUY THE GAME” or

    IM NOT SAYING “BUY THIS FOR YOUR PC/PS5”

I'm so pissed they showed false gameplay for the ps4 trailer, not only that but the pro still runs the game awfully, textures render seconds after I look at them, the framerate is very low, the menus are broken as hell. I'm so pissed I can't return the game, because it's a physical copy. Shame on you for lying to your fan base cdpr!

    The game is currently in the alpha version. if so, why is there no corresponding inscription on the disc box? Why did I pay for an unfinished project and have to wait for corrections? What is called a "game" called cyberpunk 2077 is impossible to play. very low resolution, low frame rate, constant bugs. Don't buy "it" until it's fixed, don't sponsor.

This company doesn’t know how to make combat at all. Also if it weren’t for FPS they’ll do a terrible job at the controls like the Witcher 3. From the breathtaking advertisements to our expectations of it revolutionizing the gaming experience, CD Projeckt Red had us fooled, especially with it having conceived its previous masterpiece The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, considered one of the greatest games of all time. Unfortunately, I have to say that this the reality of this game pales in comparison to the fantasy world I thought I would enter upon its initial release. So far, the game has crashed a total of 8 times. The sprites and models constantly disappear and reappear based on the distance you are from them (entire human beings vanishing and reappearing out of thin air). The "quality" graphics touted in pre-release gameplay and ads is a lie. The frame rate constantly plummets, and sometimes the game freezes altogether. Visually, I suppose it looks okay. But when games like Spiderman PS4 look better than a game LITERALLY CREATED for next gen consoles,...and you don't even want to imagine what it looks like on other consoles. The game mechanics are extremely confusing and feel "incomplete". Due to the lack of in-game signs and cues during tasks, there are many missions that are difficult, if not IMPOSSIBLE to complete. I'm not kidding. We literally cannot progress through the game anymore. It's essentially unplayable. Many aspects of the game feel incomplete. Unfortunately, this game was completed under time-sensitive circumstances, from what I've heard. It was rushed. Prior, I was hopeful for it to release as soon as possible. But artistry takes patience, and this would have probably been amazing if they'd given it an additional year or two.
    Basically, this game is broken. I'd compare Cyberpunk 2077 to a broken toy. It's design is wonderous, amazing, and astounding in every way, and the toy itself is great. But it's broken, so it doesn't matter how amazing it is or intended to be. It's broken. You can't use it. You can't operate. You can't rate it. It's a broken, unplayable game. Empty. $60 wasted.     - The driving experience is really bad. The car is too hard to control and very floaty.
    - Personally I still much prefer 3rd person view, I feel more connected to my character in 3rd person.
    3. False marketing
    - CDPR claimed the game work well in PS4, obviously not.
    - They promised no compromises on 18+ materials, but I see a lot censorship even my censor option is off. Also not enough gore when shoot on opponent.
    - I know this from other review, romance choices and progression is disappointing, especially for a RPG game.
    - CDPR claim they stand on LGBT+ community, but from the characters creation option, the game still draw a line between binary of male and female (based on voice), non-binary group representative is diluted way too much.
    4. **** business practices
    - No review on console version prior to launch, and stopping reviewer post game footage and review console is not fair to console players.
    - CDPR employees are forced to crunch the game by hook and by crook, and this is the result that we get. Again falsely claim by CDPR top management employees are treated fairly and no crunch.

    Summary: The game is obviously made with PC in mind, no optimisation and though was implemented in the console version. Do aware the game was firstly announce to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC, by this standard, the game should work, at least playable state, in these 3 platforms at launch. Using pandemic as excuse is irresponsible and cheap giving the game was suppose to launch before the pandemic happen. This just show the poor management of CDPR, and the game is poorly coordinated and put together. Unless i see a massive change in the management, I lose my trust on CDPR in game development, and will not buy another game from them.    … Expand

    The game is literally unplayable on base PS4. I don't think I've ever played a game this broken at launch. While the world is incredible, I can't enjoy the game with the low FPS, crashes, blurry visuals. Considering review codes for consoles copies were not sent out, CDPROJECT RED were obviously trying to hide how buggered this version of the game was

    Was so excited for this game, even stood up for it before release but within 30 minutes of play I realized that the graphics are worse than a ps2 top rated game. GTA at best. But even worse, atleast gta functioned. I really wanted this to be a good game but, RDR2 was waaaaay better, even AC Valhalla is better in gameplay and graphics.

But I will not sit and act like “Oh it’s okay, lemme rub your tummy, you did nothing wrong” just because of the hype and fandom CDPR has surrounding them. We were extremely hyped for this game for several years, it got delayed three times, we were told how well it runs and this is what we got. Make any excuse you want, this game is downright unplayable and broken on console. The combat is flat, stale, and filled with unintelligent enemies that function as bullet sponges.

    The most puzzling and absurd thing about this game is the ability to customize your genitals but your complete inability to change your hair cut, tattoo or customize your car. If you actually want a competent, fully realized, open-world RPG action adventure game please revisit (decade old) GTA5 which is lightyears ahead of this game.

    This game most likely cannot be fixed by patches. It needs to be torn down and rebuilt from scratch.    … Expand

    When indoor, just a mirror model with your character model can be as blurry as a ps2 game, the way NPC walks and interact with you are like coding and animations from ps3 era or worse (like a ghost that will either walk through you like you are thin air or like a robot that rotate and then walk)
    How can older games like Witcher 3 or GTA5 are better than this game is beyond belief.
    This game had been hyped by fanboys, they even got awards before the game got release, it is a big slap in the face for those game award critics for giving a game score based on hype.

    The character creation is just the icing on the terrible piece of s*** cake that Cyberpunk is. You can only customize the face and genitals. That's it. You're stuck with a SINGLE body type for each gender, which of course is the stereotypical muscular guy for males. For females it's even worse as you're stuck with an athletic body with the typical impossible flat stomach that the media loves glorifying for some terrible reason. For a game that advertised customization like it would be a revolution in character creation design, it has no excuse. It's more shallow than Skyrim's character creator, which by the way came out almost a decade ago. Being able to only customize the face reminds me of Dragon Age Inquisition where all you could do was the face, yet you were stuck with a terrible female body no matter what. But hey, atleast in DAI you could make the face look good! In Cyberpunk it's basically impossible to create an attractive and beautiful character.

    As for genitalia (another widely advertised thing) you can only change the male's p***s size and if they're circumcised or not. For females you only have 3 breast sizes (small, medium, and large) and areola size. Oh and for both genders you can choose types of p***c hair. Or you can have a mix, which makes it trans-friendly, right?

    Wrong. The game also advertised itself as trans-friendly, yet it's the COMPLETE opposite. At first, everyone loved the fact that your character's gender wasn't determined by their genitalia. But we were all fooled and betrayed when we realized that your character's VOICE decides their gender. Lower pitched, deeper voices make them male, while higher pitched, higher voices make them female. Why isn't there just a simple option that lets US determine the gender?

    Lastly, the game treats trans people like a fetish. There are constant advertisements that show a feminine looking trans person with a massive p***s (and it's focused on that p***s) like it's a sexy poster or something that's supposed to get people all hot and ready. But then there's NO trans-gender NPCs ANYWHERE. As far as I know the only trans-gender character in the game is your character (if you choose to be). So they're willing to make a fetish out of trans-gender people, but they're not willing to put any trans-gender NPCs in the game? Sounds pretty f***ed up to me.

    Overall this game is just another disapoitment in a year full of them (2020 has had maybe a handful of good things). They clearly released the game in it's incomplete and broken state just so that they could get the Christmas sales they wanted. Do not buy this game.    … Expand

    Ridiculous that this is a game coming out at the end of a console cycle. That is when games for the console usually look and play the best. This game is disappointing trash.     Was very excited to play but it is not ready yet. It might be one of the worst games I’ve played. Although, I think it could be great it just isn’t at this time.

Furthermore, the graphics is worse than ps3 games and it runs at 720p at a very unstable frame rate. The frame rate makes the game unplayable on my ps4.     I wanted to play on my ps4 pro, but given how everybody's bashing it for bad performance I went to try out the steam version first, and boy did I dodged a bullet because Sony surely wouldn't have given my money back. It's buggy and runs poor on my gtx 1060 @ 1080p, everything's just blurry. They should've just sli the current gen consoles

It takes around 10-20 seconds to render any texture within the game. The game crashes randomly when you are ealking around. The graphics are so bad that they hurt my eyes.     The PS4 PRO and PS5 demo video released by CD PR a month ago is a total scam!
    CD PR used a fake video to trick us PlayStation gamers into buying a half-baked game.
    We will not tolerate this kind of fraud.

    Colossal disaster. I’ve played games on ps3 that perform cleaner than this excuse of a AAA game. Years of anticipation thrown out the window. Can CDPR recover this game still for last gen???

    Constant crashing, bugs and issues with gameplay. Can’t get through more than 1-2 hours without a crash and shutdown, and that’s on a PS5, game breaking problems on a game with so much development on a next gen console is inexcusable

    This game does NOT have the pleasure to receive any points. Anthem and cyberpunk (on console) are just as broken or even worse in some cases.

    Не покупайте эту игру. Она не работает на консолях. Поляки до небес себя возвысили(блохи индустрии) Обмануть ВСЕХ консольных игроков это вообще СВЕРХ наглость. Надеюсь что это последняя игра этой НИКЧЁМНОЙ студии.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
