    There's a lot I could say about cyberpunk, I could talk about the 60 hours I've sunk into it so far, or how inspire of putting that much time in I still want to put more time in and definitely will( which on my part is pretty unique after immediately completing a playthrough).

    In terms of gameplay and story I'd say the game excels where few before it do.     In terms of gameplay and story I'd say the game excels where few before it do. Providing an interesting and entertaining glance into a dark future. With interesting characters, items and stories.
    The main quest is relatively short but rich and is expanded upon by side missions from prominent characters and feels like enough with everything else going on on the side .
    In spite of the general report of bad performance I'm glad to say that on my PS4 (slim) with some changes to graphics settings (disabling film grain, CA and motion blur), it runs well, and as of patch 1.05, it hasn't crashed, and prior to that I had maybe a crash every 4 or 5 hours, sometimes more frequently in the city centre. This was annoying but manageable as the game autosaves every few minutes. And while there is a few glitches here and there in my experience they have been minor, and rarely emersion breaking.
    Some reviewers commented on the ads being ever present and a few other asthetic choices for me certainly feels like a good choice for the game (being a cyberpunk game, shadowrun games do much the same).
    If I where to criticize it would be elements like traffic AI and NPC behaviour. Cars will queue behind yours if it's slightly in the way of the road, never going around. NPC's never complain about you picking up something from they're shop or stall and so on, though that aspect of things is relatively minor    … Expand

    It doesn't look pretty; not as pretty as what you'd get on a high spec pc or ps5. It's unfortunate that the visuals are really toned down and even more unfortunate you only figure that out when you start playing. Where does that leave you. Well, it leaves you with an amazing storyline a truly unique and immersive game and an interesting and multi faceted set of characters that will keep you engaged for days. This is the witcher 3 but now branding shotgun super hacking ninjas. Did you like witcher 3? You will like this.. The game isn't a huge sandbox you get to kill romance or interact with everyone. It has issues with optimisation and obvious bugs.. Some of them silly and easily laughable, others annoying. This isnt different from tw3 when it launched. It's quite urfotunate that there has been so much hate against the game. I guess people have been expecting a world that you get to change and shape and structure into your thing. This isn't what you get. You get a story driven by the main objectives where you get to interact with a specific subset of npcs that have been designed to perfection. Everything from enemies to friends to romance options are so well detailed you will be confused about the comments that are being shared. I'm now about 45 hours in. The game is amazingly amazing on ps4 if you can accept that you won't get the fancy graphs you'd get on a ps5. This a truly amazing rpg, one that gives you multitude of options into tackling any quest and one that comes with 4 or 6 endings depending on how you progressed through the world and how you managed relationships with npcs. Is it perfect? No. The 2 patches that have been released seem to have made the experience much better. Is it unplayable? Absolutely no. The game is truly amazing. You will need to play a few hours to start comprehending what this is about. I give it an 8 out of 10. Hotfixes and dlcs will probably make this a 9. Так и гляди, благодаря скорым фиксам и патчам игра похорошеет технически. От всего сердца хочу поставить игре 10, но я должен быть честен с собой, а потому сниму балл лишь за единичные некритические баги (всего я увидел что-то в районе 4), которые появлялись за 50 часов прохождения.… Expand

    By far the best game this I have played this year yes they are bugs but not game breaking, PS4 and Xbox owners what do except when are trying to play a next gen game on a potato. CD Projekt should never have released this on the old consoles

    Cyberpunk is a decent well rounded and rarely polished game with a vast amount of bugs due to the community not wanting to wait until the designated time for it to release. The story ends off well and gameplay is something to be desired while also feeding that nicotine addiction called gaming. If one looks past the bugs and choppy areas, Cyberpunk is definitely the game for you.

    ENG:At first, my opinion about this game is negative. This is how I play ps4. The game is terribly broken on consoles. Full of bugs, glitchy, reading textures, poor graphics, drops up to 15 fps. However, a friend told me ok to play pc and only then grades. The problem is that my computer is old and won't even hurt CP. Here, too, the same friend gave me a solution. You never have the equipment to Play Geforce Now. I tried this service and I was shocked. Not only that the game works in full HD, ultra settings, FPS at 50-60, sometimes minimal drops to 40. My opinion changed by 180 degrees. From now on, you never like or wake up from your computer. I consider Cyberpunk a great, addictive RPG. It's been a long time since I had so much fun in any game. This world pulled me into the rest, and admiring this beautiful city in good liquidity is wonderful. If someone complains about the console version, I recommend you to try to play on the PC. If you don't have the hardware to use the Geforce Now or Stadia service (I haven't tested this one). A completely different experience and look at this title.    … Expand

    Despite some bugs and glitches, the game looks very awesome. At least on my PS4pro. The first impressions of Night City were literally breathtaking. I don't know any game so far with that kind of characters and side quests. I've spent 63 hours in Night City and I've never been bored any second.

I mean the Xbox One/PS4 came out like 7 years ago at this point... I don't see any PC players with 7-year-old computers complaining? You want to know why? I think the voice acting is extremely well done and I found the story/writing to be very interesting. The shooting mechanics can feel a bit clunky at times and the graphics are amazing (depends on your system of course). The pedestrian AI is meh but the world they have built is just so incredibly dense with things always happening ensuring you are always having fun and discovering new things.… Expand

    This is RPG focused on storytelling. If you're a fan of the genre then you must play this game. Yes, the story is not as good and deep as in Witcher 3, but it's really mature and top-notch if it comes to the quality of dialogues (and dubbing).

    The city is big and beautiful. Driving car is OK, I don't understand people complaining about it. In the game you use it for transportation from point A to B which gives you terrific immersion with the world around you. Don't expect physics from Dirt 2.0, to me the most similar experience is Driver from PS1.

    Shooting/hacking/sneaking is good too. It's to allow you exploit your skills and gear and challenge you before progressing in the game. Again, this is RPG, not a shooter.

    The game is not a revolution as it was expected by some of us. Yet, it's a great game, one of the best if not the best game published in 2020. It has the same flaws Witcher 3 had: mediocre fight model, glitches, some engine issues, too complicated character's skills and perks, but overall it offers fantastic experience to a player. If you liked Witcher, if you like RPG, if you're fan of dark dystopian s-f, the game is for you.    … Expand

    Apparently inability to get a new haircut for a character you don't even see besides when you're driving a bike - is far more important than a good story, splendid dialogues and very nice combat system.    … Expand

I’m playing on a normal PS4, so the experience for me at least was stable. It was playable. IFollowing the patches, Cyberpunk 2077 is playable. Across 3 days I ran into only a couple crashes and it rarely set me back too far thanks to auto saves as well as the fact I am very diligent in saving progress due to how easy in a RPG to make a wrong decision or die due to walking into danger. I’m playing on a normal PS4, so the experience for me at least was stable. It was playable. I ran into a lot of visual glitches still, but the surprising thing is the load times and stability were overall great. I didn’t find the visual glitches too distracting, and overall, the game still looked visually good to me. It doesn’t compare to the PC version, but when I compare it to the likes of Fallout 4, Skyrim that are of a similar open world, I enjoy Cyberpunk’s visuals more. I love the difference between the slums, the corporate part of cities and there’s just a pretty amazing visual flow to the City, as well as very convenient fast travel options that make traversing these areas easier than one may expect. So stability and visuals I’d give 7.5/10, as I think there are improvements to be made to make it a completely polished experience and I would prefer fewer crashes but this is only a single element of the game.

    For me, the story is a 10/10. I love the bleak world, the hard decisions and above all, I love the characters. Most of the endings I’ve seen come with a high cost and it left me much to think about in the end, ultimately. I love Johnny’s character so much and the highlight of the experience for me, I think, was helping him somewhat repent for his past mistakes, similar to the Christmas Carol in some regard. There’s a real connection between Johnny and V, which made the ending I got, so painful for me. All I can advise to new players is to really take time with Johnny and get to know him, as I found that experience the most rewarding.

    For combat and A.I., I didn’t have as much of a problem with the police annoying me. I managed to escape most of the times in a car or something. It could stand to be improved, but it wasn’t game ruining for me, as I played on the normal difficulty. Combat, for me, was also great. I love the variety of guns, scopes and I love the swords. I ended up having a mix of a pistol, assault rifle/shotgun and a katana for the majority of my playing. I found performing slides while shooting or taking out large groups of people with just a sword some of the most fun I’ve had combat wise. Compared to even Fallout 4 and Skyrim, I prefer how it feels in Cyberpunk. Overall I’d give it a 9/10, but I can see why it’s not the same for others.

    Character customization feels a bit weaker compared to the likes of Fallout 4 and a part of me wishes for a third person view, but I found myself more attached to V than a lot of my other RPG characters regardless of this. There’s so much more cutscenes involved with your character and I felt more attached to V thanks to them. I also was able to play as a woman with a dick which resulted in a lot of funny moments. The clothes on the other hand, are amazing and plentiful. An easy 10/10 for clothes, but I found the customization only above average in some way, so sadly only a 6 to 7/10 for me.

    Driving I found fine on console. Going in, I had the perception driving was gonna be bad, but I found myself enjoying it and even doing pretty well at some of the races. I also gained around three cars and two bikes by the end of playing, and that’s without actually paying. I just did quests and unlocked a bunch. My favorite is by far Johnny’s car and it feels me with the memories of when V brought Johnny to where he was buried, which was one of my favorite moments in the story.

    So... where does this leave me? I can’t say the PS4 version is perfect. It still needs more bug fixes, but at it’s current price and the content there, in my opinion, there’s no way this game could be even close to below a 7/10. The story is amazing, the visuals are still great (most of the time), the combat is fun, the A.I is passable, character customization is above average but improved by the amount of times V’s face is used for cutscenes and driving was also just fun.

    It’s not a perfect game. Even despite my praise, I had a few crashes that annoyed me across around my three/four solid days of playing.

    I think Cyberpunk is a game worth buying at a 9/10. The story, the cutscenes and multiple endings is what brings it up to that score for me, despite maybe some of the more average elements of the game.

    I think Cyberpunk is an experience people should try for themselves before jumping to the conclusion it’s just a buggy or broken mess, as even some of my friends who haven’t played the game sorta just... presume. My experience was ultimately just... fun and emotional. It’s an amazing ride for me.    … Expand

    Игра мне очень понравилась, хоть у нее не маленький провал в оптимизации, но сюжет, побочные квесты, графика, саундтрек, кастомизация персонажа, взлом чело-либо мне очень понравились, кол-во модификаций персонажа очень впечатляет, боевка просто крышесносная, не было момента чтобы мне было скучно, вообще не жалко денег которые я на нее потратил. Очень жду большого патча, который долженИгра мне очень понравилась, хоть у нее не маленький провал в оптимизации, но сюжет, побочные квесты, графика, саундтрек, кастомизация персонажа, взлом чело-либо мне очень понравились, кол-во модификаций персонажа очень впечатляет, боевка просто крышесносная, не было момента чтобы мне было скучно, вообще не жалко денег которые я на нее потратил.     Spędziłem w grze już 80 godzin i mimo iż nie skończyłem jeszcze głównego wątku dalej jestem produkcją zachwycony.
    Gra ma świetną fabułę daje masę możliwości na rozwiązywanie zadań. Rozwój postaci mocno wpływa na strategie podczas rozgrywki.
    Ponadto wątki poboczne również zdarzają się mocno rozbudowane i wciągające oraz podejmują tematy nad którymi można się zastanowić. Nie będę podawał    Spędziłem w grze już 80 godzin i mimo iż nie skończyłem jeszcze głównego wątku dalej jestem produkcją zachwycony.
    Gra ma świetną fabułę daje masę możliwości na rozwiązywanie zadań. Rozwój postaci mocno wpływa na strategie podczas rozgrywki.
    Ponadto wątki poboczne również zdarzają się mocno rozbudowane i wciągające oraz podejmują tematy nad którymi można się zastanowić. Nie będę podawał konkretów lepiej odkryć to samemu.
    Tak w grze dalej są glicze ale większość tych poważnych przestała się pojawiać po aktualizacjach.    … Expand

    I am playing using xbox one x and this is game is state of the art. I see minor glitches but in the general whole story, design, creative ideas, and experience are awesome! I love this game! It states a new level of gaming.

    PS If you have an old platform, but a new one and stop crying. If you want to play new games you need new hardware. Easy.

А до сих пор не исправленные оценки после выхода стольких патчей (на момент написания обзора крайним патчем был 1.06) как от критиков, так и от    Критики которые после релиза игры изменили свои высокие оценки на низкие - некомпетентны.
    Т.к. ставить подобные оценки основываясь лишь на технической части игры и не беря в расчет сюжет, сайд-квесты, атмосферу, дизайн... просто глупо. А до сих пор не исправленные оценки после выхода стольких патчей (на момент написания обзора крайним патчем был 1.06) как от критиков, так и от пользователей, которые на релизе ставили низкие оценки, не прибавляют им ума.

    На релизе игра несомненно была в плохом качестве - баги, вылеты (которые исправили быстро вышедшие патчи), просадки FPS на PS4 Slim и в меньшей степени на PS4 Pro (которые были минимизированы уже в патче 1.04), плохо прописанный ИИ NPC..., но та же визуальная составляющая была ужасна ЛИШЬ на PS4 Slim (сам я отыграл около 20 часов в игру с релиза на PS4 Slim с версией игры 1.02 и 1.04, потом обновился до PS4 Pro), тоже относится и к прорисовке текстур прямо перед глазами игрока, данная проблема в большей степени актуальна для PS4 Slim, на PS4 Pro за ~62 часа такое было всего 2-3 раза и то после быстрой езды.
    И те кто утверждает что на PS4 Pro она выглядела отвратительно - НАГЛО врет, т.к. игра выглядит вполне годно.

    А теперь я пожалуй напишу свое мнение об этой игре.
    Отыграв 82 часов с релиза, с версии 1.02 до версии 1.06 я получил кучу эмоций и удовольствия от игры. Классный сюжет который зацепил меня похлеще Ведьмака 3, классные сайд-квесты и мир игры.
    Множества критических багов, вылетов на которые многие жалуются лично я встретил минимум. Вылетов за свои 82 часа я повстречал АЖ ЦЕЛЫХ 6 вылетов, и лишь 1 из 6 произошел на самой багованной версии 1.02. Из критических багов за всю игры было лишь зависание начального квеста Джуди, последнего квеста Керри и второй гонки из квеста "королева автострад" и все устранялось простой перезагрузкой.
    Было конечно и много мелких багов, например таких как:
    - зависание текстуры сигареты в воздухе у некоторых персонажей;
    - проваливание через текстуры (4 раза);
    - баги боссов, которые во время схватки просто стояли и не ничего не делали;
    - несколько раз падали машины с неба...

    И на данный момент самой весомой и до сих пор неисправленной недоработкой игры является ИИ ее NPC, который, я надеюсь, поправят в грядущих патчх.

    Возможно это мне так повезло, что у меня было минимум вылетов и критических багов (даже на ранней версии игры), но и те кто говорит "о вылетах каждый час" либо приувеличивет, либо просто даже не играл и нечет чушь.

    Я рекомендую данную игру к ознакомлению, и даже позволю сказать что она обязательна к ознакомлению.
    И если данные слова можно было, мягко говоря, подвергнуть сомнению - то теперь это определенно не так.    … Expand

    Very good game. I Have been playing on the ps4 slim and I was surprised how this game looks like on this old gen console. Graphics is great. I am playing on the 1.0.6 hot fix . Despite many negative ratings Cyberpunk 2077 is worth to play especially for the great story. It is mix of good top sci fi stories like Matrix, Altered Carbon, Johnny Mnemonic, or not sci fi -John Wick with Keanu .Very good game. I Have been playing on the ps4 slim and I was surprised how this game looks like on this old gen console. Graphics is great. I am playing on the 1.0.6 hot fix . Despite many negative ratings Cyberpunk 2077 is worth to play especially for the great story. With the city having a series of Interstates it was fairly easy to get from one end of the map to the other fairly quick if you wanted yet there were plenty of side missions and gang activity to distract you if you wanted. While the graphics where hit and miss at times, they were excellent when you take into account the huge city setting. As far as game crashes I was able to look at the PS4 crash history and I crashed 8 times, which over 60 hours is once every 7.5 hours. The game frequently autosaves so I never lost more than 15 minutes of progress due to a crash. Overall one of the better games I've played.

    If you are able to overlook some minor performance issues it is a great game with a rich world. If you only care about graphics then Id suggest picking it up for the PC. If you are buying a PS4 game wanting PC quality graphics you will be disappointed most times.

It's a little rough around the edges graphically but I recommend you turn off all the extra graphics settings (because it actually looks better on PS4 without them).     First i was really disappointed of how bad the game performed right as it released. But after Patch 1.2 I begann it again and what can I say... the story is outstanding good, excellent dialogues and good gameplay. I already played 45 hours and i'm hoping there are going to be a lot more!

    Finished the game on PS4 Pro. Encountered a few glitches here and there but not enough to break the immersion. Looking forward to replay when new content comes out. This was the one time when preordering was worth it because you can't buy it on PS store anymore.

    I play on base ps4 on patch 1.23 and i dont have any bugs maybe i am lucky, game is good and i enjoy every minute i spend with it, but game is still missing real moral choices like in Witcher 3 especially in side quest

    And as far as side missions, they don't feel phoned in. They make you want to do them because they add to story and feel meaningful. Yet they are still optional. You don't have to do a single side mission you aren't interested in.

    That being said there are still a couple of visual glitches here and there, but its not that bad now. Which is why the score is not a ten. And Also because I couldn't get enough of this game. I need more.

    I have to uppgrade my rewiev from a 7 to a 9 now as I no longer run in to that many gitches (on the ps5) it is still not a 10 as I still can find some things in the world and other things But my 9 is not really a 9 but a 8.5 unabel to give that score but well well

    So I'm giving this a high rating based on running this on a patched version on a PS4 Pro. Simply stated, this game is brilliant, the stories are deep, the world building fantastic, and the fun side is just that. Yes, it still has bugs, but I've played of perfect games that have bored me to death. Trust me, as a long term gamer, you're going to have a blast!

    Sure, the game is not at peak performance but Night City at dusk is still a beautiful view when I ride my bike up into the hills.

    You will meet rogue AI's, atypical religious fanatics, and a moody bozo with a grenade for a nose.
    If that's all too much you can stop roadside for some peaceful meditation.
    Some NPC's stories are hilarious, and others downright depressing. Optional data shards strewn throughout will key you in to background stories behind the people that dwell there and you can interact with every NPC in some way.
    The scale of the world building is impressive. You never know what you're going to come across next.

    Cyberpunk is an enjoyable adventure whether you prefer gunplay, explosions, stealth or melee in any combination.

    The main bugs still present are a handful of crashes (I've had perhaps a dozen - often after long sessions) - but the manual and auto saves at each key moment mean I rarely have to retrace my steps. The other minor issues still present are occasional clipping or dialog bugs, and vehicles popping in and out.
    (I believe many of these issues have been ironed out on the current gen platforms)

    I recommend playing this game on a current gen system if you have a choice. But given I'm invested in an older console I don't regret the purchase in the slightest.

    The game easily eclipses all this with an immersive world and a vast range of intriguing characters.
    If you're here for a good story and fluid combat you're going to have a good time.

    tldr; you can drive an imitation batmobile, own a talking gun and adopt a cat.

    I played on ps4 pro. I crashed maybe 2x and experienced 1 annoying bug a few times. Jumping over a rail at the wrong angle would propel me down the street and into traffic. The story was satisfying and the gameplay was awesome. I played through a few times to try out different playstyles. All in all money well spent.

Here, you won't find that). The combat is a way for achieving your oals, not the main focus and value of the game.
    If that's what you are looking for in a game - you are in for a treat.

    Now the rest:
    - game lacks deeper mechanics - you can just upgrade your character, inventory or complete quests. No other activites that would give it more replay value
    - technically - it's completely playable (despite the often framerate drops - especially hurtful in races) and the bugs did not affect the story/gameplay for me, besides about 5 crashes)
    - your choices affect the ending, mostly - in the number of options you have for completing it

    To sum things up - this game is on one hand beautiful, on the other awful in terms of not being finished. IMHO this needs at least 3-5 months to be at it's peak value.

    Is it gamechanging? No.
    Is it a bad game (at the moment)? Absolutely not.
    Is it worth buying? Yep - in February.

    ... Menus and Item-management are well designed, character development is intuitive, meaningful and complex in a good way. Especially the cyberware-features are really unique. Steering seems a bit flawed at times. My cursors seems to be moving constantly. Not nice. Gun play and combat on the other hand fell really great and satisfying. 8/10

I dropped the game and played it on Stadia instead. It runs great but after a two or three hours theres this frame rate judder that even on Stadia has it and it can crash your game. I don't understand how this is more game breaking then a lot of open world games recently that have came out and been far more buggy and far more game breaking problems than I have experienced with this game. I don't think people understand this is an rpg not a gta style game. I had far more problems with No mans sky and I believe Fallout76 was in a far worse state on release then this one. I got it in disk form for Christmas and thought about sending it back before I opened it because of all the bad press and it being removed from the ps store, but I am very glad a didn't do that and gave it a chance because I have enjoyed it. The story is awesome and Keanu Reeves is amazing in it. I love the side missions and exploring and getting new tech. If it was not for the crashes and bugs that I have experienced I would have given it a 10.… Expand

    The bugs are intermittent, but noticeable. In a very early scene V is holding a body across their lap, and the physics didn't like that very much. Most recently I encountered some enemies in an area with some grass, and rather than walk through the grass, they ran across the tips of the grass, that and the old "T" stance shows up every now and then.

    The reality is, now, the game is no worse than a Bethesda RPG, even after its been re-released 5 times. The problem is the over promising and under-delivering. Cyberpunk 2077 is the epitome of over ambition, and it needed another couple of years in the oven.

    I endeavor to finish, hopefully more than once. There's an amazing game here with some really special ideas and for $NZ36.00 I don't think you can go wrong.    … Expand

A few graphical glitches here and there and an AWFUL framerate when driving through city's centre with lots of texture pop-in, I can't deny that. But none of that was a problem for me as I was so drawn into the story of the game. To be honest, there are only a few other titles I had this much fun with. Gameplay was great, I didn't feel bored once all this time and I couldn't imagine it being any better. Many people told themselves that Cyberpunk 2077 was going to be messiah of gaming, a true competitor to franchises such as Grand Theft Auto, Fallout and much more. In their minds, it was supposed to not only be a great story, but also an adventure filled with police chases, night life and all of that jazz. I, on the other hand, had never thought of Cyberpunk in these regards and that might be the reason why I love it so much. The story is captivating, there was so much thought put into creation of the world, the gameplay feels just so... right, and the visuals can be stunning on newer hardware. It's simply unbelievable how bad of a reputation this game got because of the technical shape it was released in. 8/10 on PS4/Xbox One, but easily 10/10 on next-gen consoles.… Expand

    I played and reviewed Cyberpunk in December 2020. I decided to give it another playthrough a year later in December 2021. I played it on the PS5 and really didn’t run into any technical issues. I think I saw one floating car- that was about all. The city still lacks enough pedestrians and cars to look like a lived-in location. BEyond the bugs there are other areas of cyberounk that need massive reworking because they are just bad on a fundamental level, the police system spawing in anywhere and everywhere destroys any immersion that the city creates for the player, the civilians have terribly scripted reactions to gunshots and cars crashing into things near them, either cowering for an excessively long time or saying something really weird that does not fit the situation. Its a shame this game was released when it was because if CDPRojekt had the time to finish this it would be amazing but in its current state it is just good. (if you can look past the bugs, crashes, and some poorly designed AI systems.) Overall I would give this game a 6.5/10 but My rating is based on the quality of the story and quest design which I am giving a 9/10.… Expand

    What an amazing experience on the PS5, yes there are bugs and oddities but it was very playable and above all enjoyable. I’ve now put it aside until such time the PS5 version comes out but if you have a PS5 don’t let the bad reviews deter you from a unique experience

    Long review: Make no mistake I slogged through the absolute worst of it.. Here is the reality. This is a Mass Effect 3 situation. People already mad at the delays were basically looking to lynch CDPR regardless of what got released. So its the cult of public opinion out for blood. That does NOT represent the actual product CDPR put out.

    The game itself is good. A blend of GTA style open world with an actual hint of freedom and a dash of Bioware styled character driven narrative focus. Its not without flaws though

    Graphics: Ultimately this is as pretty of a PS4 game as you will find. Its graphics may not be as advanced as a GTA V/RDR2 where you can see things like shooting water sees actual shots in the water, Its a design choice so that they can focus on actual plot rather than irrelevant graphical garbage.

    Char model clipping being the notable issue. Models are fine it just takes time for the hardware to catch up. Have patience. Dont believe the SSs.

    Aesthetics: Lets get this out of the way. Cyberpunk is NOT a dystopian view of humanities future. It is a retro futuristic, 1988 view of the future. Makes sense given when Cyberpunk was created. For example Night city is not filled with mag levs or other tech on our immediate horizon. Its basically just a normal GTA style city that has more layers of upward highway development in a few places and coats everything in an oversaturated neon and over lit paint job and grimy over industrialization. All the cars are essentially circa 1988 that have unneeded extra doodads like tubes or extra set of tires that do nothing. Essentially like an 80s movie/show of the future would have imagined what the future would be. So think blade runner-ish but with more lights/neon colors and dank corridors.

    Gameplay: Essentially another Janitor Simulator game like Deus Ex or Bethesda games. You are basically a futuristic janitor dropped a huge sandbox of useless garbage to pick up and sort. It is a WELL worn gameplay mechanic that honestly needs to die with PS4 gen of gaming. That said its robust while not being too much. You will be stuck with as much inventory management as say Horizon ZD and way too few ways to alleviate it.

    The combat in the game is mostly strong enough. Not as bad as Bethesda games where its just the same CopyPasta dungeon run. Quests have SOME diversity to them. Just dont expect a lot.

    Music/Sound: One of the strong suits. With some of the songs being exceptional (The Parade track, phenomenal.) Most tracks memorable if a bit repetitive. Again, not futuristic, 80s futuristic.

    V/O cast did solid work and enviro audio is top notch.

    Characters: While very trope-y the game is well cast. Some scenes can be highly emotional. That is surprising when it involves temp chars who are not around for long. There are mostly likable though there is very little that are "original"

    Romances: BIG flaw here. Romance options are garbage. Its a wonder why they included them at all. Yes the game is WAY over focused on genitalia so it needs a reason for all those wasted polys. As with most RPGs with romance options there is a clear emphasis and development put toward homosexual options rather than straight ones. Panam is particularly awful as no one in their right mind would be attracted to that toxic mess of daddy issues. Yet they cut off more desirable chars like Judy to straight options.

    Bugs/glitches: They ARE everywhere but the reality is that the game is NOT as people keep claiming it to be "unplayable". I know it is not because I played thru just fine. Not a spoiled child. I can work around problems when they arise. Saw the worst it could throw and survived just fine. Better than In Fallout 4.

    In summary: Cyberpunk is a good game. Its flawed BUT heres the reality. Yes the game runs rough on PS4 BUT its also cross generational so when you get PS5 it will be waiting. Has advantage of 2020 being a drought year for RPGs.

    The game WILL be brought to a good state and CDPR is doing what they can to fix it. The big problem was not the devs, it was WB forcing release window timetables. So this may be the last CDPR console release due to the over reaction. Maybe it shouldnt been PS4 release but what they did release was good if only for promise of future fixes. 7.75/10    … Expand

    Played on ps4 pro, loved it, side quests and and crafting could be better, more choices that matter would be better as well. Romance, main story, etc. I dropped the review down a grade from my pc version, as it doesnt look as good and until the last patch, i would get many crashes

    + персонажи запоминаются, чего стоит Такэмура;
    + достаточно активностей, можно шлюху заказать.
    В защиту CD Project Red хочется сказать, что игру делали не 8 лет, а намного меньше, плюс они не так часто делали ААА-проекты, как Рокстар. Плюс ещё пандемия на них обвалилась.

It crashes a few times a day but other than that it's still a pretty kick ass game which coming from me is a massive statement considering I hate 1st person games. The ads hooked me though and I love the whole background of the game from the RPG. It's been a very faithful adaptation.I know. This guy is nuts. But, I'm running CB2077 on a PS4 Pro.     With Night City offering you a great deal of weapons to get, clothes to wear, cars to drive and other stuff to help you on. It has much to offer before you get bored of it.

    There is a lot of functions to set your mind into. But you will gradually learn all the tech you need to work out come along as you play. It can for sure be overwhelming to swallow it all, but just stick it out as you go is my advice. Some are very useful, and some are not even necessary to bother with to even complete the game. You will find your way and tactics that suits you best.

    As you start out bare handed and begin to network with people, you meet a city with many different inhabitants with different personalities that is helping you with a hand to manage in the city. Cast is stellar with a really A-grade voice acting. Most prominent is Keanu Reeves who plays Johnny Silverhand that works as your in-brain sidekick, nuisance or whatever.

    Sadly this game holds the title of the most problematic launch in the history of gaming. It really needed at least 6 months to a year more on the production board before it could see the light of day, But CDPR really needs to learn to hold their card to their chest longer, as if The Witcher 3 did not give them proper education in releasing games prematurely, they certainly did not learn this time around either. However, If you choose to just forget all the errors that comes with it (dependable what gen.system you play on), you have a killer game to dive into.

    Lets just hope for CDPR to get their heads together and iron out what they can. I for one would play this more than one time trough because i never finished my time in the half discovered city before the credits rolled.    … Expand

    Ok, i played the game now for around 12 hours the last 3 days on my ps4 slim and it's actually not that bad as expected. I followed the news and was not very amused about what i heard about the game. So, on the one hand many things are true:

    -frameratedrops also happened to me but not    Ok, i played the game now for around 12 hours the last 3 days on my ps4 slim and it's actually not that bad as expected. I followed the news and was not very amused about what i heard about the game. So, on the one hand many things are true:

    -frameratedrops also happened to me but not often and what is most important: not on exciting places or during combat action! So this is a relatively common thing in games nothing worth hating the game!
    -Sadly the game crashed two times in my 12 hours gameplay, which is also less often than i expected, still recommend quicksafe often.
    -Indeed it has some glitches and bugs, but also nothing which could make the game unplayable.

    Conclusion: The disadvantages and bugs we heard about in the recent days since release are true but on the other hand in Version 1.06 (current version) it's totally playable. Fighting is mostly flawless, till now i had no lags or FR-drops during shooting. Visuals look stunning at least in quest-conversations and during driving (car and asphalt) which is a big part of the game!
    Either way i'm not that interested in best visuals, i would always prefer gameplay and story over a great look, so maybe my review is way more positive that the others. So if you are a guy like me who prefers story and gameplay over visuals, this is a game I can recommend on the ps4 (at least if you don't posses a high end PC)

    Upset that they have restrictions on romance people but other than that game is great on ps5 hardly any problems feel bad for others who don’t get to experience this greatness. Others are just last of us stans which are just like Trump fans. They are the ones giving it 0s tell them to cry harder. Game is amazing can’t wait to see and play more!

Incredible story, beautiful world, solid gameplay and RPG mechanics that reminds me a lot of Skyrim. The framerate drop in the open world is definitely the worst problem, but again this hasn't been too bad for me. It's a shame it's launched in this state ~ II started playing this on v1.02 on PS4 and I can say I haven't had nearly as many issues as most. So to me it's a brilliant game. Incredible story, beautiful world, solid gameplay and RPG mechanics that reminds me a lot of Skyrim.     If I played this on a regular PS4, I would definitely be giving this a lower score. But really, it's a lot better if you play on PS5. It's less glitchy, and I was able to get more out of it with it's interesting story and cool characters. It's still not perfect. But nearly a year after launch, it's certainly stepped up a bit.

Or, maybe scale the population density a bit to improve performance on the older systems...no reason to have to 50 unique non interactive NPCs at the cost of decent frame rates. Patches will definitely improve this game and it will be excellent on next gen

    It is very obvious the game is getting review bombed you can't say a game is a one or a 10 not even a 9 to be very honest. I play it on my PS5 so far I have yet to run into major bugs except one where a female sitting legs were missing. The game is fun the story is good its not Witcher level but its pretty good. I like the mix of cultures mostly Japanese urban mix blends well. The gun play is okay I wish they focused on the mechanics and RPG element better you can tell they really were just too ambitious but dosent make sense how Witcher 3 was more polish than this i don't maybe the game engine is not optimized for 4K yet Witch is in 4K so I can't tell you. Why the developers couldn't get it done but to say its a 10 or 1 is just immature and is not correct just like TLOU2 is not a 1 or 10. This game is a solid 7 or 8 taking into account game breaking bugs and combat could be a little better. CDPR most likely learned their lesson maybe they will fix this and make it right I can only hope. I believe holding them accountable get your money back but don't be like they are scum many of you still buy 2K, Bethesda, and EA game and they are true scummy companies and don't admit **** CDPR at least admit they f'd up and vow to fix it. Give them a small chance not a huge one many people still enjoy the game its not all bad.… Expand

I’m desperately thirsting for an expansion that actually continues from which point you left off in the main storyline... All I want is continuation after I left the city with Panam. But I don’t know how they’ll make it work. ANY DETAILS??? I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MY FUTURE WITH MY WAIFU!!! Ok but seriously it’s an incredibly buggy game at this point. Even after two major updates that were supposed to supply “hot fixes” to the game. I’ve legitimately lost track over how many times I’ve had a random app close on PS5. Besides the bugs, the story is excellent. A few hilarious moments, and a few gut-punching moments that will make you question humanity. Or if you aren’t as melodramatic as me, you’ll at least say “damn, that’s messed up”. The game looks pretty good on next-gen consoles, at least speaking for the PS5. The gunplay is actually terrific. Tech precision rifles are overpowered though. I’ll give this game a 10 once most of the bugs are ironed out.… Expand

    Cyberpunk 2077 это произведение которое надо проходить запоем, не разбавляя другими играми. Иначе просто потеряешь нить повествования и суть прокачки.     Сюжет коротковат но очень насыщен всякими поворотами сценария. В игре много концовок, я так думаю. Я получил не очень хорошую, попробую ещё. Да, совет всем, проходить по возможности со всеми доп. заданиями, они здесь бывают длинные и интересные. Я совершил ошибку пойдя по сюжету, взял только штук пять доп. заданий и смог прокачаться всего процентов на 20 до окончания сюжета. Карта огромная, но открыл я её, опять таки, примерно процентов на 60. Доп. миссии обязательны!
    Да ещё, меня очень удивил пролог, я наиграл часов 5 и только после этого понял, что игра ещё даже не началась, а мне лишь показали название самой игры! Некоторые современные игры за 5 часов можно полностью пройти!
    Мне понравилась боёвка, с оружием всё в порядке, его очень много и оно улучшается, понравился взлом и хакерство вцелом. Вообще игра очень похожа на смесь Fallout 3, Skyrim и Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
    Действующие герои просто великолепны: Панам Палмер - красавица, надо замутить с ней романтическую линию в будущем, Джеки Уэллс, Горо Такэмура ну и Джонни Сильверхенд, за него даже дают поиграть. И это малая часть нпс с которыми очень приятно общаться. Ё моё они буквально живые люди!
    В сюжете намешано много стереотипов. Есть из Твин Пикса, из Робокопа, из Shadow of Mordor и т. д. Вообще Cyberpunk 2077, почерпнул ото всех понемногу. И всё это сплетено очень хорошо и самое главное работает!
    Графику на PlayStation 4 оценить трудно, но лицевая анимация в норме, мир тоже красивый. Если его доработать будет просто великолепен.
    Атмосфера. Дааа из игры очень трудно выйти даже на PlayStation 4.
    Также игра очень хорошо озвучина, это огромный плюс в РПГ.
    Теперь о не очень хорошем.
    Да игра сыровата. Текстуры иногда не прорисовываются по 10 секунд. Иногда падает фпс. Один раз игра вылетела.
    Ещё мне не очень понравилось меню персонажа. Оно красное и цвет изменить нельзя. Также оно очень перегруженное, я к нему долго привыкал и до конца игры находил, что то новое. Вообще у игры высокий уровень вхождения, но если погрузился.....всё не выйти!
    Резюмирую. Игра прекрасная, но сырая. Вот такой парадокс. Наверно пройду её второй раз со всеми доп. заданиями, но на консоли нового поколения, когда её куплю. Надеюсь игру к тому времени допилют как положено.
    Рекомендавать на PlayStation 4 игру не могу, но и "0" и "1" верить тоже не надо. Игра очень хорошая, но ей мешает убогость при выпуске. А "0" ставят скорее всего те, кто игру даже не прошел.    … Expand

Sure it needs a lot of polishing (graphics-wise) and bug fixes but I won't include that in my review since I only encountered 1-2 small glitches in my 15-20 hours of playtime and these will be fixed in the coming months just like with Witcher 3.     Yes it crashes every 8-10 hours, yes there are graphical glitches like parked cars being partially in the scenery, but this doesn't stop the game being a huge amount of fun!

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
