    Unbelievable. In the rare times this game works I have a blast. Hence why I gave a 2. That’s irrelevant due to the completely unplayable mess this game is. At this point in my game (maybe 10 hours) I am completely stonewalled. Main missions won’t start. Side missions won’t start. Waypoints don’t work half the time. Several times I have had the game catch up on calls that bugged outUnbelievable. In the rare times this game works I have a blast. Hence why I gave a 2.     Simply unplayable. Save yourself money, even when barely playable the AI was made as a high-school project, and the world is completely shallow.

    I actually just created a Metacritic account solely to make my feelings known. This game was hyped so much in regards to what you would be able to do in the RPG genre. What we got was a under cooked, buggy, run of the mill game with missing systems. We were told NPCs would hunt you down if your playthrough crossed their 'story arc'. NONESENSE!!     Normally I don't believe in a 0 score. But constantly crashing every hour, horrible frame rates, textures not even trying to pop in, constant freezes in action sequences, and all around unplayable on base PS4. Makes this a 0. CDPR lost me as a customer after this scam.

    Очень ждал игру. После Ведьмака 2-3, была надежда, что наконец-то есть студия которая делает хорошие игры для игроков, с душой. Купил игру для PS4 Pro. Надежда рухнула. Разрешение низкое, баги, графика просто отвратительная. Не подгружающиеся текстуры, пустые города, просадки фпс. Я понимаю, если бы игру делали для нового поколения, а так игра изначально планировалась на уходящееОчень ждал игру.     ps3 quality graphics, blurry as **** fps drops 15-25 in combat, 15-23 driving or walking.
    I liked the story but after 7 hours I can't play that, and devs said that on base ps4 "it's performing surprisingly good"
    I would say that it's scam at this point

    Biggest scam of all the time. Garbagepunk is worse than FarCry3's graphics on PS5 and other consoles. Full of bugs, stupid AI's... What a disappointment! Frauds. I want my money back.

Constant clipping. Muddy, low res visuals. Ghost town devoid of people or vehicles. Crashes once every 90 minutes. Chase sequence loaded with the drones in front of the car instead of behind. NPCs mouths not moving. First person view gets stuck in some zoomed in mode and prevents me from running. And to top it off, the actual title card after the prologue didn't even load. I've put hundreds of hours into Witcher 3 and the Deus Ex games and hoped this would be a nice blend of the two, but I've never seen a game in this bad of a state.. I can't enjoy the game or take it seriously because the gameplay just becomes a bug simulator. This is Duke Nukem levels of unfinished.… Expand

    They will definitely make improvements to this game but on release it was unplayable. I can not comment on the game because although I bought a copy I couldn't play it. CD Projekt CEO lied when he said Cyberpunk 2077 runs "surprisingly well on PS4 and Xbox One Consoles". It was UNPLAYABLE! Biggest scam in Gaming History.

    There are a number of gamers defending the title by telling owners of the base PS4 and Xbox One consoles to upgrade to a next gen console. This is an indefensible argument. Firstly, the PS5 is unavailable everywhere in the UK at the time of writing. Secondly, the game was in development for a PS4 release long before the PS5’s launch was even announced.

    I am currently pursuing a refund via the PIaystation Store. I am not holding out much hope, but I will never again pre-order a game or trust and support CDPR. In the meantime, I may go back and replay 2016's Deus Ex: Mankind Divided: A futuristic dystopian world featuring multiple path choices, tons of character upgrades...sound familiar?    … Expand

    It's a mess on PS4 Pro even after the latest patches. PS5 seems better, but it does not have a next-gen patch yet. Maaaayyybe, just maaaybe, you should not have been releasing a game in that state in general, and needed to delay it, at least for consoles.

What can't be fixed is the core issues with the game. All the marketing leading up to release said "you can become any V you want to be". Well, it turns out the three prologues mean nothing. What can't be fixed is the core issues with the game. All the marketing leading up to release said "you can become any V you want to be". Well, it turns out the three prologues mean nothing. Corporate stooge or nomad you always get railroaded to the same 6 month time skip cutscene and your V is always the same streetwise edgelord no matter what, even if you wanted to be a well-educated corporate stooge on the run he still acts like he was born and raised on the streets. There's no classes to pick from, stats mean very little (I think it's impossible to have a "bad build" or one that won't work). Frankly, this was sold as an RPG but it has even less depth than Fallout 4. In Fallout 4 you had Yes, Yes (sarcastic), Maybe, No. In this, almost every choice is Yes, or (Corpo) Yes where the character adds in some anti-capitalistic rant while agreeing. Not much choice. The world seems impressive at first glance but it quickly falls apart when you realise all the NPCS are mindless drones walking straight ahead. Nobody to interact with outside of a handful of key NPCS, nothing interesting happens, no spontaneous moments like V NPCS arguing or having a meal together. Shame!!… Expand

The simply answer is of course MONEY. They were well aware of how bad this ran on consoles and not only did they decide to sell it regardless they kept their fans in the dark about it.     An absolutely awful game, riddled with bugs, performance issues, frame rate issues, frequent crashes and some of the worst AI, RPG, crafting, driving I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Please for your sanity do not buy this game. God-awful waste of time on the PS4.

    This Game has about 2077(^^) Bugs/Glitches. This Game is nothing more then a mess. It's not finished, you can't play it right, it's probalay still on Alpha-Status. This is not acceptable. Next Time maybe take some Tester into the Team and not Hollywood Stars.

    Cyberpunk is one of the best game ever, but only if you play it on strong PC. PS4 version is a disaster/ bad joke/shame. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! Everyone who bought ps4 version should get complementary key for PC version for free.

    Honestly I deeply disappointed because CDPR has failed to matarialize the words they promised or advertised. Definately this game is not for PS4 and I can’t believe that this is actually released on 2020 with terrible graphics and bugs. Even the other games back in 2015 looks better than this game. I dare say Cyberpunk2077 is not ready to be released to the public.

    Cancelled my pre-order when I saw what a mess is PS4 version. Even though I have PS4 Pro, the release console version of a game is a bloody mess. This is unacceptable. You should really cut marketing budget, and think about the players, like you did before. Won't toss a coin to you anymore.

The Witcher 3 won every reward and so we blindly pre-purchased thinking we would be taken to Heaven again. It has turned out to be Hell. I tried to refund, but due to the PlayStation policy, I didn't succeed.    I pre-ordered the game on PS4 last month.

    False advetisement.. Definitely a disaster. Playing on PS5 and it looks like as if I am playing on PS3. Crashes, bugs and a lot of FPS drops. I was blaming Ubisoft for making trash games but believe me instead of buying this game go and just buy AC Valhalla. You would definitely enjoy much more...

Let's ignore the fact that the game looks bad, I mean, really bad, like life of the black tiger bad levels. If you ignore all that, an issue remains: this game does not run well, it doesn´t even run all right or even passably. In the linear scenes 30 fps are rarely achieved and when free roaming through night city... I've seen PowerPoint presentations running smoother than some of cyberpunk 2077s set pieces.

    After 20 hours I just gave up, the issues in this game made my experience unbearable and tedious. Perhaps in 6 months, after several patches I`ll give this game another chance. For now I cannot decide which gives me the worse nightmares: how cyberpunk might have played on consoles if it were released in April of this year or the sound of a 2013 PS4 Fat running this game.    … Expand

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
