    It's an absolute joke that people are giving this game a 10. After releasing an unfinished product that needs updates and still is broken. But the worst part is that they totally scammed console players. There is no way its a 10 but i guess people are brainwashed by the company which they owe nothing to and just showed that they are as money hungry as any company.

    Unplayable. The game is so blurry/grainy/low resolution it looks like playing something on Playstation 3. It is headache inducingly bad visually. I could look past the bugs, really could. The visuals totally destroy the game. I can see why they suppressed PS4 and Xbox One footage, shameful. This game was always supposed to be a playstation 4 launch, and it is completely unplayable visuallyUnplayable. I really hope they optimize the visuals on the consoles they were promising to launch the game on, because this company was one of the few I'd come to trust, in this industry. They used to seem to have integrity, now with the suppressing footage and totally crapping on the players who have the very consoles they announced their launch on, i just don't know anymore.     Total utter mess and completely unplayable! Blurry screen, poor graphics, constantly lagging and stuttering. Played this 2 x for 2 hours and had to stop because both times gave me a massive headache. Save your money and don’t buy this garbage!

    In the current state 4/10. The game was not ready to be released. Saves corrupted when the game size gets to big, so don't craft items. With corrupted saves I had to restart, aaand character creator has everything green like the Grinch just had taco bell and chipotle and just let it spew out like a sewer drain. Needed at least another year maybe 2.

    I've putted ~40h into this game, and let's be honest, it's mediocre at best. Everyone heard about technical issues, so yeah, at this moment, in early 2021, this game is on edge on being playable, with a huge disclaimer that it had induces me heavily nausea feeling at early stages (I've got used to this super low frame-rate later, it seems). But the meat, The Story... isn't great at all.I've putted ~40h into this game, and let's be honest, it's mediocre at best. Everyone heard about technical issues, so yeah, at this moment, in early 2021, this game is on edge on being playable, with a huge disclaimer that it had induces me heavily nausea feeling at early stages (I've got used to this super low frame-rate later, it seems). But the meat, The Story... isn't great at all. Main quests lines are boring as hell, only last part when you once in the game have any choice at all is ok, maybe pretty good, but everything before that is uncooked, unfinished, lacking of pacing, and time you must put, and character development. Its just hollow. Situation rescues some of optional quests, and oh boy, some of them are great, like, really good, fitting in universe, with rich characters, interesting story. Pure honey. But the rest of the same marked side quest are on main story level, so pretty low, or even lower. Some builds are fun, some are plain useless, when you're on the start of the game, uninformed, and you choose one of those failed play-style you're doomed. You must start a new game and grind through same quests, same dialogs, same fights, there's no replay value. One new game and that's all. You won't see any new stuff, nor fights are that good at their own. I really can't believe At this moment that in the future this game will be worth any price on PS4/XBO. But even in the better world, where the game was shipped without any issues, it isn't worth full price. Its just not good game, and those couple of quest aren't worth suffering at all.… Expand

    I'm playing the game on ps5 so it's the ps4 pro version really. When the game is working it's great but there's so many BUGS!!! The game has CRASHED on me 5 TIMES ALREADY!!! The frame rate is not bad but I'm on ps5 so I have headroom. CD ProjectRed HAS to get the NEXT-GEN version right! I can't in good conscience give this game even a decent rating because of ALL of it's issues!

    Game is just unplayable. Awful, blurry image on my PS4 and around 15fps while driving a car. Happily, no critical bugs or crashes, just some small bugs in animation in cut scenes. I understand, console hardware is very old but it doesn't mean that we deserve this mess. It's not right to make AAA-game just for top and expensive PCs. We need all problems to be repaired or refund

CD project red knew the ps4/Xbox versions of the game were garbage so they only showed pc version footage and placed an embargo on reviews so no one would know.     I don't remember the last time I played such bugged game. Full of graphical issues, glitches, fps drops and game breaking bugs which you can't pass. Huge disappointment on this overhyped game. Don't buy it.

    The game is **** unplayable on base PS4. Frame rate drops, textures rendering in front of the player, pop-in at all times, horrible draw distance, besides not exceeding 720p resolution. Frustrating and disappointing.

    Da ist es nun, Cyberpunk 2077, vorbestellt auf der Ps4Pro. 69,99€ für ein Spiel was nach 3 Monate Entwicklung aussieht statt 8 Jahre, ein Spiel was ich nach 2 std beenden musste, wegen Bugs, Glitches und einer Grafik die in den Augen schmerzt.
    Ich vergleiche dieses Spiel mit RDR2, und muss sagen... scheisse ist das schlecht was CD RED dort hingeklatscht hat.
    Ein unfertiges Spiel nach 8 Jahren Entwicklung...
    CD Project Red, ihr seid absolut nicht besser als die ganzen anderen geldgierigen Drecksstudios!
    Vielleicht spricht aus mir mehr die Wut und Enttäuschung statt Sachlichkeit, aber Fakt ist, Cyberpunk auf der PS4Pro ist nicht Spielbar!!!
    Die wirklich gigantische Anzahl an Bugs und das Gefühl ein absolut unfertiges, unpoliertes Spiel zu spielen, macht dieses Erlebnis zu einer der größten Enttäuschungen in der Videospielhistorie,
    Besonders nach soooo langer Entwicklung.
    Cyberpunk kommt von der Grafik und Physik nicht mal an GTA4 ran.. teil 4 nicht 5!
    Ich versuche mein Geld wieder zu bekommen!

    The state of the game on PS4 is simply appalling, a blurry mess with inconsistent frame rate & is simply not playable. Such a shame given the narrative and artistic potential demonstrated by the PC version. This product should not have been approved for sale or certified by Sony in its current state.

    Cyberpunk 2077 is no win for anyone. This game is unfinished, buggy and empty. "Doom" (1993), "Resident Evil 4" (2005) and "GTA IV" (2008) were some of the biggest revolutions in history of video games, Cyberpunk 2077 will be forgotten by summer 2021 when some new "cool" game will be hyped up.

    How to make money and brainwash people? Tell everyone that you are making greatest game of all time and apparently people will believe you. "develop" it for 8 years, but actually just make jokes on twitter and spend max 3 years on development. Don't allow anyone to post gameplay footage "because of spoilers" until game has been released. Release unfinished mess. Profit.

    Seems like CDPR is taking the same steps as Ubisoft/Bethesda, once-great companies, they fell into investor's greed by releasing incomplete and disposable games.
    If you want a real AAA experience, just buy RDR2.

    I'm playing on ps5 and one of the main problems is the game crash every two hours, the graphics are ok, looks like ps4 graphics, I encountered miner glitches but nothing game wrecking, there's lots of missions and side missions, if you pay attention you will enjoy the gamee but don't expect to be blown away...

However, since this game is developed by CD Projekt RED, I decided to trust my favourite game developer. And, man, have I made a mistake.

    I went into this game already expecting bugs. And the game does have    I have been an avid gamer since Diablo II, and this has been the first time ever that I preordered a game. Usually I am cautious of preorders, because of generally known reasons. However, since this game is developed by CD Projekt RED, I decided to trust my favourite game developer. And, man, have I made a mistake.

    I went into this game already expecting bugs. And the game does have bugs, no doubt. However, none of them bothered me too much. After 2 hours of play time the game crashed once, but this was also no big deal, since automatic saves are common and therefore, I didn’t lose any progress at all. Plus, the loading times aren’t too bad either, at least compared to the Witcher 3.

    Before I started up my big ol’ PS4, I already saw headlines mentioning some players to be disappointed with the game on old consoles. However, since nowadays everyone feels entitled to everything and anything, and people (especially gamers) act like spoiled **** I gave these headline the benefit of doubt. And wanted to experience it for myself.

    Oh... Man….

    As I said, I don’t mind the bugs so much, as they are not game breaking. And can be fixed fairly soon. However, I have never, ever, seen a AAA game so badly perform on my PS4 (or anywhere else for that matter):
    - Textures and NPCs sometimes need several seconds to load.
    - Objects need several seconds to load. I once took a left turn to get to Lizzy’s Bar and hit an obstacle – an invisible obstacle. 2 seconds later, a WHOLE **** BRIDGE appears right above me. And it turned out I hit one of its massive pillars.
    - The framerate is straight laughable. I do not need 60fps. But stuttering gameplay?
    - The resolution is a joke. It is so bad that I have to squint and get closer to the screen in order to see what button I have to press, because the button icons are too small and blurred.

    These flaws are so vast and omnipresent, that it makes the game unplayable.

    Look, Cyberpunk 2077 is mainly about three things: Having a **** kick ass story, having a beautiful and immersive world, and being an RPG.
    The elements of the story and RPG are definitely there. But the world? Man…. The city is so empty, it feels like on Covid-Lockdown. So what if the city looks nice at night (because it does, the general graphics aren’t bad at all), if there are no inhabitants on the streets to make it feel alive and create this immersion, which is so important for this game? I do not need **** motion blur, 4K, and other stuff. I just want a good running game, that, as advertised for years, is super **** immersive. I didn’t expect any technical revelations on the PS4. But I wanted to feel Night City. Which I do not.
    Right now, as much is it hurts to say, I must conclude that the game experience on the, in terms of market share, still extremely relevant base PS4 is abysmal.

    CDPR straight up IGNORED all console versions, because right now there is no console version running well, or running as promised to us, while giving us that overhyped Cyberpunk-feel and immersion. The next-gen consoles don’t even have a next-gen update yet – coming some time in 2021. Thus, only the PC version runs well. What has CDPR been doing during the last 7 years and since April? Optimization for old console generations my ass. How could they neglect the older console on such a massive scale? - and consoles in general for that matter. Because, even if I had a PS5, the game would still look like on PS4Pro – for months to come! The game was supposed to come out in April first, so initially it wasn’t even meant to be a next-gen game. WTF? Isn’t around 40% of the player base using consoles? And if yes, isn’t the majority of them also using base- and PS4 Pros’, since the PlayStation5 still seems to be an urban myth? That is straight screwing and ignoring almost half your player base.
    Now I can wait at least half a year to properly play the game, since I 1) have to get the legendary PS5 and 2) wait for the next-gen patch.
    And then, to cover up the **** optimization for the base consoles, CDPR doesn’t reveal or let any footage be revealed of these. What. A. ****. Dick. Move. I would have expected strategies of that sort from EA, but not from CDPR.

    I just cannot fathom how CDPR had the audacity to release such a crap product. I paid 70€ for an unfinished and unplayable game. I cannot even express my disappointment with this company. Straight up **** me and my PS4. CD Projekt RED, the ones who were supposed to be different than all those other greedy **** publishers. I can’t even imagine how CDPR isn’t ashamed of itself. **** I, as a former fan, definitely am ashamed on behalf of them. “With the patch, Cyberpunk is a different game on console” – yeah, no **** compared to the PC version I bet it is.

    Maybe masterpiece on PC. But on PS4, it is a buggy, blurry, low-res mess. CDPR is silent about the issues and they purposely kept this version from public sight before release, because they knew how bad it is. It is a scam, they should have canceled oldgen versions, if they cant make it run on them. Wait for PS5, or buy on PC, but stay away from PS4 version.

Eu vou dizer isso com uma tristeza genuína mas Cyberpunk é o pior jogo que eu joguei em 2020, ou pelo menos a pior experiência que eu tive, espero voltar daqui a algum tempo e jogar um jogão que eu sei que dava praA maior decepção últimos tempos.     Dostaliśmy na PS4 produkt nie grywalny ilość glitchy błędów jest powalająca gra wygląda jak z kosza na przeceny w markecie wstyd mi że dałem się tak nabrać przez redów nieśmieszny dowcip za 270 plnów. P.s. w patche średnio wierzę jeśli gra jest spierdolona u podstaw.

I have requested a refund for this game and anyone who bought it should be eligible for a refund. This game was originally meant to release in april, before next gen was a thing. So any argument this wasn’t meant for last gen is a pathetic excuse. The majority of the players are on old consoles and CDPR is trying to sweep it under the rug like these issues don’t exist. Even on PC the game is still a very buggy mess, its clear that the game needed another year in development at the very least. I’m so tired of companies releasing unfinished games and people are okay with it, because ‘don’t worry they will patch it’ its tiring. This is a full price £50 title and this is what is served up. Its false advertisement.

    The PS4 and Xbox One version is impossible to play and unacceptable, CD totally lied about how the current generation runs the game, low resolution, frame rate locked at 20fps, numerous bugs, a very uncomfortable blur on the screen causing nausea. If, technically, it was not possible to launch it on the consoles of the previous generation, do not launch it instead of delivering this garbage.

I paid for the the unpleasant moments, there is no entertainment part of it. Do not buy, mostly not digital, cause you can not ask refund.     It is impossible to play this game on ps4 slim. Game crashes very often. Bugs are very common. This game currently is not playable on ps4. I have never expected that CDPR will become a villan. Cyberpunk should not be sold for ps4 in current state.

Un couloir aurait suffit, d'ailleurs les quêtes fonctionnent de cette manière, hyper dirigistes, rien ne te pousse à l'exploration.

I really didn't want to bring this up, but the GOG/CDPR actions and attitude left me no choice.

    The Cyberpunk 2077 is raw, unpolished and bugged as hell. The more I play — the more broken quests, "silent" dialogues and other technical issues I get. I was sending bug reports and suggestions to the CDPR support since release, but I haven't got any replies. Zero. Not even automatic ones, so I don't know if they even check them or no. There are no answers, there are no patches, there is no roadmap. The day-one patch arrived on GOG later than on other platforms and after that only two useless "hotfixes" were released (it didn't fix anything for me). No real patches for a month, no new hotfixes for weeks. The Russian localization is terrible and Galaxy client resetting the language preferences every time I launch the game. (There is no such problem on other stores). And the client still crashes ten times per day.

    I've heard a lot of complaints about optimization, but at least I don't have any significant problems on that front despite some minor fps drops and object popping. Though I've built my PC especially for Cyberpunk and my TV supports only 1080p resolution at 60fps which is likely the main reason I’ve got an ok performance.

    GOG/CDPR stuff keep ignoring all problems with Cyberpunk and Galaxy launcher, but this isn't the only problem they prefer to turn a blind eye for. Some of you may know that they decided to cancel the long-awaited release of an indie game Devotion on GOG to please some Chinese bots. They've slaughtered the game without any reasons (the little placeholder with the hurtless joke was completely removed from the game years ago). And the main problem in this situation that GOG staff answered on Twitter bot messages within a few hours by fully cancelling the promised release not only for China but for the rest of the world too. At the same time, they keep ignoring thousands of their own customers for weeks. They’ve just silently deleted the announcement and cancellation posts without any official statement/explanation/comment, ignoring all questions and support tickets about their decision. Just check the GOG’s Community Wishlist — it is the most requested game of December and January. This is just another sign that GOG/CDPR changed their policy from being pro-customer to being pro-money. It isn't the first call, but it can be the last one for many loyal customers. Censorship can't be tolerated, especially political censorship — I'm sick of this **** in my everyday life.

    So, after all of this, I’ve got really disappointed. I tend to buy way more games than I have time to play. And I prefer playing on another platform, but I used to buy second copies of the games I like on GOG only because I liked it's policy, customer-oriented service and wanted to support my favourite devs. But this isn't the thing anymore. I haven't even played 99% of the games I've bought on GOG, so, I've tried to request a refund for them. And they refused.

    GOG support has finally answered on my ticket. First of all, they've completely ignored all my questions about Devotion. Secondly, they've refused to refund anything (not a single game from 340+ in my library!) They've also refused to comment on the bugs and estimated release of next patch for Cyberpunk 2077. (They've told me to contact "CDPR official channels" that haven't answered to support tickets in a month). Finally, they've refused to partly refund my physical copy of Cyberpunk 2077 so I could get the Steam version instead (I don't want to be forced to buy future addons on GOG and use their broken launcher anymore). They've told me that I should refund my physical collector's edition where I've bought it. But it isn't possible after you've opened the box and used the activation code. Well, I will be waiting for heavily discounted GOTY/Director's Cut/Enhanced edition on other platforms then.

    I was supporting and advertising GOG for years. I've bought all CDPR games on release, including collector's editions and versions for different platforms (not to mention figurines and tons of other merch). I didn't expect that these companies’ management will start to wipe their feet on its loyal customers. I’ve missed the moment when they turned into EA/Activision siblings, but as far as history shows — it's the one-way road in this industry.

    This is the last game I've bought on GOG. In the current state, I can't recommend it to anyone, nor I can recommend this platform anymore. I'm disgusted by GOG/CDPR recent actions and their new priorities. I'm disappointed by the way they've decided to handle situations around failed Cyberpunk launch and Devotion censorship.     The technical performance of Cyberpunk 2077 on Playstation 4 consoles is simply unacceptable. Hard crashes every few hours, soft locks, bizarre graphical and physics glitches, single-digit frames per second when things get hectic, and graphics on par with late PS3 titles. It's an absolutely embarrassing follow-up to The Witcher 3.

    There is a good game in there somewhere. The setting and mechanics are interesting. But Cyberpunk suffers from horrible performance. Like really horrible, the view distance, fps, npcs and cars loading infront of you, the radio freezing the game everytime you bring it up.

    The most important reason people are angry at CDPR is the fact that the company KNEW they were releasing a 60$ videogame incapable of running properly on current gen. They knew it and they still went ahead with it because the PS4 version was guaranteed to be the best selling version. It's downright disingenuous.

    But even if you disregard this crucial truth, consider the following:

    *long, detailed exposition without proper pacing and direction does not equal good storytelling. Sometimes more is less.
    *beautiful art & visual design is very much appreciated, but if you're dealing with a VIDEOGAME, gameplay should be KING: if the aiming feels off & the AI is very inconsistent, you'll end up with something that should've been a tv series instead.
    *the fact that CDPR has a great history of supporting their games for a long time is encouraging, but it doesn't change how they screwed over day one buyers: the game should be at its best from the start; not when it's 20 bucks on sale. Pre-ordering is a mistake on itself, but it's still wrong from their part.

    That's it. It will sell amazingly well regardless because of marketing and hype but I hope it helps the company improve on their next project and the customers to be a bit more discerning with their purchases.    … Expand

    Error code CE-1082551 which causes the game to crash has happened 7 times I’ve only played for 13 hours The driving is horrendous, texture popping horrible controls with dated crash physics Random items appearing in cutscenes. Including when Jackie is dying and handover the chip the chip was replaced with a giant pistol which took up half scene and just distracted from the moment entirely. The story will be good , the combat is okay nothing game changing but good for an RPG

    I can handle bad frame rates, I played the #Nintendo64, I can handle abrupt small freezes before the game continues. I can even handle when the vocals from the NPCs disappears and you just have caption. It's not cool when your car flies into the air and ruins your car chase. It's not cool when you try to call an NPC and the game crashes. It's not cool whenyou hit a pole and your car goes flying and then it crashes the game. It's not cool when the company only shows one version of the game and doesn't show it on all hardware platforms how it looks and runs and doesn't let game publication outlets to show what the game looks like because of embargo. I consider that very poor business ethics. It's misleading the perception of the game itself versus what you will actually get when you purchase the game. That is not a good look. One thing I want to make perfectly clear is that I know there's a good game underneath all this chaotic glitchy mess. I'm enjoying the game but even I have a limit to my frustration and know when the developer focused on a particular platform such as PC and then neglects the other platforms that supposed to be work on. It is quite clear that they focused on high-end PCS and next generation consoles. Granted the game is not an next generation game but I runs better on next generation games because of backwards compatibility.if next generation consoles didn't have backs compatibility the outcry would be even worse. #CDProjektRed should have placed more resources on it's last generation consoles to make sure they were functional rather than focus on just the PC.     I have never played a console game that was in this bad of shape including Fallout 76. I can deal with bad frame rates and the missing textures that pop in but the game crashes every five to twenty minutes. It makes the game near unplayable. Don't release a game if it doesn't work.

    Everything is just terrible. Shooting, driving, story and optimization. The game just dont want to work how it should.

    I find this game interesting, the atmo, the story suck me in. I am okay with game mechanics.

    But. Looks is terrible. I thought I must be very tired at lunch, and my eyes are tricking me, but no. I've played GoT and checked out Horizon ZD just before, and encountered this.     To put it straight, I encountered a few glitches and bugs, a few crashes I can live with if it gets ironed. But I simply don't understand what were they thinking with the visuals. This game is not for a base PS4. I am not going to refund, since I feel for the hard workers of the company who had nothing to do with dates just work their asses off, but the result is outrageous. I am clinging to re-playability, and hoping for getting a PS5 before 2077, and maybe the bad taste in my mouth will fade away. CDPR will always have this taint on them though.

    On the other hand, I want to love this game, and I got hooked. Can't wait to put the kids to bed, and go back to the ugly, disappointing, under performing Night City on a 75" HDR TV, and carry the story on.

    I feel like beaten and robbed by a friend, but still answering the phone, cause I want to believe there is a reason for all of it.

    I suggest not to buy it for the regular PS4. Even if you manage to enjoy the good parts, the wasted potential will be striking wherever you look in the game.    … Expand

    This game needs at least another year of development. Really poorly optimised for last-gen, even when running with backwards compatibility on a PS5. Sure the frame rate is okay on PS5, but what about the myriad of bizarre, immersion breaking bugs which seem to be present across all platforms? I generally don't get caught up too much with bugs in games, but this is a different beast.This game needs at least another year of development.     Released too early just for Christmas Eve sale. They got the money after 4 days, covering all the development and advertisement costs. And the customer now has to wait for the patches. AMAZING.

    On one side of the coin this game is absolutely fantastic but on the other this game should have been in the oven far longer. Cdpr should have pushed back this game another year and released it on next gen and pc alone. It’s a unfinished mess and they should have never released it at this state.     Cyberpunk decided not to send out PS4 Copies due to knowing it ran like garbage. A lack of transparency has turned me from an Avid supporter of this Trash company to an all-out Boycott.

    Playing PS4 pro ver1.04 and it’s blurry, crashes, is janky, and for the most part the game runs in slow motion. Extremely disappointed and even more upset with CDPR for hiding console Performance and not allowing console reviews before release. WTF CDPR! Come on.

    Когда игру доделают, тогда и оценку поменяю. А пока первый квест сглючил, пришлось искать как обойти баг в интернете. Графика настолько сильно порезана, как буд-то версия для Нинтендо. В общем, еще много работы.

    All that work of hundreds of people (art, story, music) is drained down the hole because of the management stupidity and greed. If you can't manage a 300+ million dollar project maybe you should hire better production management and game designers. Or just don't try to jump over your head. I'm returning the game and will stay clear of CDPR from now on

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
