The atmosphere it creates, the beautiful story-telling that keeps you wanting to know more, and the sadness it brings when the story is over... hats off to remedy for making a true masterpiece. This is the only game I have played that has made me actually want to platinum it, and definately the only AAA title that has kept me playing more than 30 minutes. With the way AAA titles have been heading recently it is truly satisfying to play somethig different and so unique that it took my breath away. 10/10 remedy! Expand

    Any single player game that does not have a diffitculty settings for the player in this day and age is a no no for me. I'm a firm believer in individualism and choice and treating us all the same with no diffficulty options and especially since this is a single player game with no multiplayer aspect is so wrong.

    This game really disappointed me because it had the potential to be a very fun experience but is held back by level design, mission structure and technical issues.

    The combat is probably the best part about the game, the superpowers all feel great to use, and although the gunplay is not amazing this doesn't detract from the experience. The enemies and levels are very repetitive though

    The combat is probably the best part about the game, the superpowers all feel great to use, and although the gunplay is not amazing this doesn't detract from the experience. The enemies and levels are very repetitive though which makes dragging through the game's 10 or so missions very tedious.

    The areas all look very uninspiring, and laid out in such a way that you will spend a lot of time simply trying to figure out where to go. There is a map but this is more or less useless since areas often sprawl vertically across many floors which the map seems to completely ignore.

    The mission structure is also very bland, with practically every mission consisting of going from point A to B to C while fighting enemies along the way. More frustratingly, one type of side mission (bureau alerts) is given to the player seemingly at random, assigned a time limit and often requires the player to stop whatever they are doing and track back to the location the side mission requires. Much of my 15-20 hours with the game was spent simply traversing the same areas over and over again (often getting lost), fighting the same enemies which always respawn even in areas you have already cleared.

    The abilities and mods all play it very safe and do not deviate from the core gameplay in any interesting ways. The story is certainly there and expanded through collectibles that are easily found throughout the world, but it failed to captivate me enough to compensate for the rest of the unenjoyable experience.

    On a PS4 slim the game runs at 30fps, with a little input lag (not massively noticeable though), looks unimpressive at all times and often drops to 10fps or lower when too much is happening on screen. Nothing about the look or scope of the game warrants such poor performance, so this is very disappointing for a game in 2019.

    Overall, this game has some very fun powers which would not feel out of place in an inFamous game (perhaps even better than the last inFamous entry). However, virtually everything else about this game lets it down, and the powers alone are not enough to make it a fun experience.

    It truly is a shame that the game's marketing campaign was so bland, it made a lot of people miss a hidden gem.

I don't want to dwell into plot details here to avoid spoilers, but trust me, this is a game best to be experienced going in blind. If you're a fan of sci-fi and mystery genres, don't miss it out. Also, I've seen people saying it's a 10-hour game, which is misleading, as with all the side quests (mostly as high-quality as the main plot) it leans towards 25-30.
    That's not to say the game doesn't have its fair share of problems. Firstly, even after the update there are mild performance issues on base PS4, with a consistent noticeable 2-3-second frame drop occurring every time you exit the pause menu. Secondly, the in-game map is confusing and often wouldn't load. Lastly, I found the ending to be somewhat underwhelming and straightforward, compared to the complexity and intrigue of the plot that preceded it.
    Still, after beating the main storyline and being 3 trophies away from platinum which I fully intent to get, I consider Control to be the best game of 2019 so far.

If the setting, story, and style appeal to your personal tastes, you will have a blast with this. As far as the gameplay goes, the different powers are all satisfying to use, and the physics tech and destructible environments are simply superb. The combat mechanics are solid, but outside of some excellent side missions and combat encounters in the late game, Control suffers from one of the problems I had with Alan Wake — namely, it doesn’t always match the inventiveness of its combat mechanics with equally interesting combat scenarios. That being said, with the promise of upcoming free endgame content and future DLC, I’m hoping they will continue to rectify that issue.

    As far as performance goes, I’ve been playing on the PS4 Pro — and while performance was admittedly rough at launch, the most recent patch has been a massive improvement, solving my biggest qualm with the game.

    All in all, if you’re a fan of story-driven action games, I would highly recommend Control. This has supplanted Alan Wake as my favorite Remedy game, and even with some minor frustrations, I have loved every second spent with this game.

Here you play as Jesse Faden, who sets out to find out what happened to her brother in this facility... and would you know... you have some super natural gifts of your own…
    The gameplay loop is the same from start to finish, you’re given a task... and area in the building to explore, and along your way you’ll sometimes feel an urge to venture of and explore, which can lead to you finding materials, or even optional missions that will help you become more powerful, give you more upgrade points, or even additional abilities, but you’ll do just fine sticking to the main story as well, increasingly making the gameplay here more addictive and crazy, throwing items, dashing, levitating, just to name a few.. Taking on enemies that can do almost the same... you’ll have to clear these enemies most of the time to unlock spawn points, which is also where you spend the enemy dropped currency and materials on upgrading your character, becoming more powerful… the combat though Is my biggest gripe with control… This game had the potential of being a really amazing game, in fact its won multiple game of the year titles for 2019, but the little issues with combat and performance is what sours control most for me… For starters... performance wise, the game stutters like crazy any time you pause and unpause the game.. and secondly in a Game so crazy and hectic at all times, it’s really hard to have a sense of enemy direction, a lot of the time... especially towards the end with more powerful enemies, you’ll just be hit and dead with no warning, you’ll get smacked with heat seeking missiles, shot in the back.. And you have no opportunity to fairly dodge or counter attack, which bring me to my next announce... dodging being tied to your super natural energy… this just becomes annoying… due to the nature of the game, dodging is a mechanic I feel should be a given to the player.. Not a drainer... you’ll be in fights, again unfairly getting smacked with these heat seeking missiles out of nowhere,, that you’ll need to quickly dash to health enemies drop all the way across the room, but good luck if you’ve been range attacking with your toss power, and you most likely will thanks to again the dash ability draining your energy. It makes you not want to use it, and when you need to use it, again it’s because of need to quickly move in the area because of a grenade or to grab health, but once again the vicious circle smacks you of you can’t because you’ve been range attacking with your throw ability, you see? This is an endless circle of one mechanic decision breaking all of the other mechanics, not making the game as fun as it could be, or bringing your gameplay vision to life... this game wants you moving around, throwing, dashing, shooting, hitting enemies with a nice forearm strike… but this one small decision forces ranged combat, and the games vision again just crumbles in front of you… that’s not to say control isn’t still fun, it’s a blast, it’s one more try addictive and challenging… despite its flaws I loved Control from start to finish… but control 2… I’m just saying... Focus on the balance of the crazy fun mechanics, give more opportunity to dodge seemingly unfair and over powered attacks and enemies… and this series has potential to be masterpiece level... where it stands now... Control is still a great game definitely worth your time...
    I give Control
    an 8/10

The physics of destruction is made at a magnificent level. And the company itself is well built, precisely when you begin to get tired of the game, either the maze appears or the game ends. The idea with the double ending is great! And in general, I would rate the game at 10/10, but the technical implementation of the game is not the best. Why 6? a truly terrible level design leading to you getting lost/uncertain about objectives every 10-15 minutes due to repetitive areas, and a convoluted, obtuse story that tries to appear overly intricate and deep, but simply appears as frustrating to get into as the game makes absolutely no effort to entice you in its lore.

    furthermore, despite occasional moments of suspense and horror, the overall effectiveness of these moments when they arise is muted due to the way the game is set out: you walk into a new area, you can already see a red mist indicating combat is about to happen, and around you, you will already see highlighted items that you can interact with (think items to use force pull/push) - all this before you activate a brief cutscene to trigger a boss fight or battle with various enemies.
    IMO not worth it.

    Control is a great game with two particularly great qualities in its worldbuilding and combat.

You also travel to the Astral Plane, a bleak monochromatic emptiness inhabited by a cryptic entity known as the Board. It's a really cool setting for an action game with a brilliantly cold and peculiar atmosphere. As you work to repel The Hiss, a hostile invading force, you'll have a lot of questions on your mind.

    The combat is great and super fluid, with a satisfying synergy between the abilities and the gunplay. You can levitate, dash to avoid attacks, use telekinesis to fling enemies into one another, and blast them with a shape shifting gun that can take a number of unique forms. It's really fun. There are also a decent number of Hiss enemy types which make for varied enough combat encounters.

    Control is visually impressive in its realisations of odd and unsettling concepts. Environments and characters look great, but the PS4's performance often falls short. During intense action, it struggles to maintain a steady frame rate, and some of the less important textures can arrive a little late to the party. Loading times are quite poor, and I had a problem with the audio getting out of sync with the in game videos too.

    An aspect in which Control disappoints slightly is in its narrative. Although Control certainly has an interesting setting and premise, I wasn't left fully satisfied by its story and conclusion. The plot couldn't match the quality of the worldbuilding in my opinion. I was drawn in by the lore and unorthodox supernatural elements, but the plot isn't as groundbreaking.

    The Ultimate Edition comes with two major expansions in The Foundation and AWE respectively. I preferred the former, which is a nice tailpiece to the base game which gives a taste of where the game could go next. The Board have a fairly prominent role in it which I liked. AWE is fine too, but having not played Alan Wake I felt a little out of the loop.

    Overall, Control is definitely worth playing. It's got a madcap world and some eccentric characters, and the combat is very enjoyable.

    Control is another one of those games where at first it seems like something new and original, however after just a brief hour or three you can see through its shiny chassis to the flawed and repetitive mechanics underneath.

    The good:

    Smashing things up, using telepathy and running-and-gunning are mega fun. Despite this being incredibly repetitive and there not being much diversity in the enemies it can be fun to alternate between throwing slabs of concrete at soldiers or running up close with a shotgun-like blast. The atmosphere is great at first but the darkness and clinical environments soon make it tiresome.

    The bad:

    The map - it's almost useless. On my PS4 Pro it is minute and doesn't give specific directions. I can be told to 'meet Emily' without them saying where Emily is, only for me to find she's in the room right next door after I've wandered around half the available map.

    The difficulty - quite a few people have remarked on this, and for me where it went wrong is that the difficulty lies with the health bar. You can have 20 guys in a row shooting at you and not take a hit, only to walk blindly into an enemy who kills you in one shot, leading to a loss of credit, a long load time and probably a long journey back to where you are - this I found maddening.

    The layout - your environment is cold, dark, confusing and meandering. The map could have resolved much of this but they really screwed that up. Things are far too hard to find and much of the traversal relies on guesswork.

    The story - some love it, some don't. I don't. The characters talk actual gibberish far too much, the story lacks coherency and it even lacks a compelling element. The Janitor character at the start was annoying as hell - just tell me what's up and let's move on!

    Overall, games like Deus Ex managed almost everything this game does only so much better. This is not worthy of £20+. I wasted a few hours of my life on this. Don't make the same mistake.

When you die, you lose half you experience so get stuck on an enemy and you're now in an endless loop of progression halting. Finally the main character's bland and has no personality. Maybe if you can find this under $10 you can have a fun weekend with it (it's short) but if you're looking for an awesome immersive experience akin to Prey, this isn't it. Expand

    But on the gameplay side, launching a fridge on enemies cannot be bad.

    **** performance on PS4 pro - lag everywhere during a big fight, lag after closing the game menu.
    Very unpolished, from the UI to the controls, feels like there was no QA testing done for this.

    The good parts (like the art, theme and so on) are easily forgotten when the game crashes or you experience FPS drops even in the loading screen.

It’s supposed to be a story-strong game that can stand on its own but also pulls all Remedy titles into one universe. However, this is not the case. Control plays more like a tech demo, of which it does very well, in its physics and lighting department. Though this does have a drawback on the PS4, with terrible framerates and freezing as the game tries to keep up, even after the patches! And then there is hardly a story to be found in comparison to Remedy’s other titles. I really wanted to like this game, after all it was trying to pull all the Remedy games into one universe, but I think in doing that it lost track of itself. At the end of the day, what makes Control Control? What will I remember in the long run, what will make me come back to this game years down the road? Answer nothing except perhaps watching the videos of the AWE DLC.

    This is a game that never should have been a full game. Its story is too thin, it would have been better off as an expansion or something that was no more than perhaps 6 hours. At least then it would have been concise and it wouldn’t be filled with ridiculous fetch quests and empty open world. I mean come on you become Director, head of the entire Bureau, and your underlings have you collect mold samples. Seriously? Also, should have been an expansion because this game simply can’t stand on its own. It pulls too much of Alan Wake and even Max Payne into its story, which is the point of the game, but if you’ve never played those games you’d be at a complete loss as to what it’s talking about.

    You have to play past the first two chapters to finally start getting into some meat of the story and have yourself wanting to know more. But you’re in for a shock of disappointment. Every moment as you progress through the story you’re hoping for that moment where story and explanation starts happening but with every new cutscene you’ll feel your dread rising as you realize the characters know what’s going on but not you. The main character, Jesse had some terrible event happen to her as a child in her hometown of Ordinary. You want to know what happened there and why? So do I, because you’ll never receive a satisfactory answer.

    By the end of the game, I understood where the Hiss came from and how this event came to be but it just wasn’t that great. It should have been explained over time, teasing little bits and pieces making you want to get to the bottom of the mystery. And how is the biggest explanation in the game a 5 minute monologue where you actually have to stop and stand next to the character because it’s not a cutscene?! And players could totally blow past it without even knowing because it’s during a really monotonous portion of the last level where you’re desperate to get it over with!

    Gameplay-wise: It has difficulty spikes, ranging from a simple cake-walk to heading into another room and finding the combat impossible, dying four times in a row against the same boss, with a horrendous checkpoint system that has you traversing across a good portion of the map to get back to the battle. It’s so bad to the point that an assist mode was patched into the game later on with reduced damage and invincibility, just to make you want to throw the controller through the tv a little less. This can plainly be seen in the achievement percentages when only 16% of people finished this game! The enemies themselves are just copy/paste, once they’re all introduced they either shoot at you or throw objects at you, with bosses sprinkled in between, it’s not different enough to make memorable combat using tactics. There’s a skill tree and weapon mods, which shouldn’t even exist. The skills don’t add to helping you get through the game and by the end of the game, you’ll be drowning in weapon mods and not giving most of them a second glance before turning them into upgrade points.

    As someone who managed to get a platinum trophy (and not going way out of the way to do so), I found 323 collectibles throughout the game and that wasn’t even all of them!! I spent hours reading things that should have been put in the game to explain what the heck was happening. Collectibles are supposed to be something that adds to the game but ultimately, doesn’t matter if you miss them, however in Control, you range from if you don’t pick these up you’ll be even more lost or why the heck do these exist because who cares what office drama is happening?

    Don’t bother picking this title up, it’s not a game and it’s just plain not good. This game clearly exists only to push the Alan Wake story forward, mostly on the monetary level; they wanted to make some quick money to begin the AW sequel. Your best option? Watch someone’s videos on YouTube of the AWE DLC Alan Wake moments, as will probably play a factor into the upcoming Alan Wake 2.

    Amazing story, gameplay. visuals, and sound design. My only criticism would be the wonky checkpoint system that can mean running through several rooms to get back to the fight you just died

    I was immediately drawn into the story from the very first moment ant it kept me hooked until the very end. It was entertaining and enjoyable but it has its flaws and is clearly outshined by the exploration and the combat. Let me emphasise for the combat system alone I recommend this game to anyone who loves for action games. It is that good!

    For me the fighting mechanics are one of the very best in video game history. This is the combat system EA wishes they had for their Star Wars games because in Control some of your powers like Levitation and Telekinesis have never been done so snappy and satisfying. Period. I could literally play hours after hours killing randomly spawnings waves of the same enemies due to how perfect and satisfying the combat is. And I haven't even talked about the service weapon and its five modes which each can be individually upgraded with weapon modifications. In combination you're always switching between slinging huge rocks at enemies and levitating above their heads while barraging them with bullets from your service weapon. It is a dream come true.

    Combine this with the vast and intruiging game world of the "Oldest House" which is the home of the Federal Bureau of Control. There's so much to explore in this game. The world strongly rewards players for checking out every corner. It is jampacked full of mysterious memos and audio files which adds to the dense atmosphere of this mysterious building. I think I read/listened to more than 90% of the > 200 collectibles. I couldnt get enough of it and am looking forward to the DLCs.

    I also quite liked the characters of the game which are interesting and unqiue.

    The only things that frustrated me were the convoluted mini-map (you really get lost too often), too few stand-out missions (More missions like in the Maze please) and some intense difficulty spikes in a couple of optional boss fights. It is a real shame that Remedy hid the two coolest and by far best boss fights in optional side-missions while presenting some rather bland and boring encounters in the main campaign.

    That being said. I had a lot of fun with this game and recommend it to anyone on PC. I have heard that there are some problems on consoles though so you might have to be careful there.

    The game itself is interesting and telekinesis is really fun to play with. However, visibility is a main issue. All the battlegrounds are dimly lit, and worse everything is in blood red. Seeing clearly has become the major challenge of the game which is kind of pointless. In all the fighting scenes, it is tough to see where your enemies are, while running away from their bullets and missiles.

    Also save system is complete insanity. After this low lever enemy kills you, you will spend 2-5 minutes walking back to place where you ware killed, just to get killed again in matter of few seconds. And if you are walking trough some previous deathmatch area, game will randomly decide to (or not to) spawn some enemies so you don't get bored.

    Story is classic Remedy meta crap about nothing and unlike Alan Wake it is not captivating at all. it is actually pretty dull and uninteresting, and unfinished. Maybe story is finished in DLC, but I have no interest in buying them because I hate this game.

    On positive side, graphic is OK and pseudo 50s USA setting is kinda nice.

    推進主線劇情幾乎只有 跑到一個地方找一個npc,不停重複 到主線結束。加上後期重複到無聊的戰鬥體驗,過完主線就不想 繼續過支線。

    Control is a game that had the potential to be one of the games of the generations but as a result of too many faults, I don't think it can be considered anything more than good.

    Starting with the positives, I found the gameplay to be generally really good. The use of both guns and powers have been well integrated to give a fluid control system. Switching between shooting your enemies and using your powers to defeat them is seamless giving you a variety of manners beat the enemies. And there are a wide variety of mods and upgrades to help customise your approach to the game.

    Level design is also really good for the most part with most areas giving you the opportunity to both run-and-gun and take cover depending on what your situation requires. There are a few places where you are fighting in tight spaces which does go against how the game tells you to keep moving but I did find these few and far between. There is also a lot to do with numerous side missions that will unlock powerful mods or even new powers and helps expand the games already impressive lore.

    Sadly, as already mentioned there are quite a few negatives, especially on the technical side of things. Graphically, this isn't impressive for a game from 2019. Everything looks a bit washed out and bland whilst the character models just don't look right with a large number of characters, sadly including the playable character (Jesse), having weird looking heads. This is a relatively minor issue but other technical issues aren't. Loading times are really poor taking an age to get you back into the action. And worst still is the frame rate. Whilst it is usually stable, when you hit a situation where there are several enemies on screen it can plummet. And bizarrely, when exiting the pause menu the game stutters and freezes. It does feel like optimisation has been a bit of an afterthought with Control.

    Whilst I did generally enjoy the gameplay for Control, it isn't without its issues. Often it can be hard to see where the enemies are leading to cheap and frustrating deaths when an unseen telekinetic enemy wallops you with a projectile. There are icons to show you the direction of the enemy that is attacking you, these are so small that they are far too easy to miss in the thick of battle.

    The checkpoint system is also a mess. You might think that seeing the auto-save icon in the bottom corner of the screen means you've hit a checkpoint but the reality is you haven't. With the exception of the odd instance, each death will see you return to the last save point you accessed which can lead to loads of tedious back tracking throughout areas of the game you have already cleared, often to be ambushed with a load of enemies that just randomly spawn in front of you. And this system has apparently better than it was at launch!

    More often than not, Control is a fun game. But there are too many irritating issues present in the game to make this the must have title that it could have been. If you can pick it up cheaply or got this when it was free on PS+ than give it a go. If not, I would just play something else.

    Quit supporting trashy companies like 505 Games. The game industry would instantly be better if 505 didn’t exist.

    Awesome game filled with a dark atmosphere and freacking crazy and funny! There are very cool moments here, both in the gameplay and in the plot.

    Of the minuses, I note that on the base PS-4, the frame rate sags a lot in places with a large number of enemies. I didn't like DLC, but we're talking about the basic version here. And the game is amazing. Try it.

    This game is very good in the technical sense (destructible environment) and very boring for the gameplay and the story. I gave up after 5 hours. Yeah, super powers are cool, but they don't really catch my attention after awhile since the combat are repetitive. The story and characters are just plain boring

    Constantly respawning annoying enemies, riddles impossible to figure out without walkthroughs. I don't recommend it. Graphics is blurry. Overated.

    a beautiful game, the metaphysical setting in which it is set is impressive. It remains a masterpiece of that art style. Super fun and easy to play, it's the top on PlayStation 5 in 4K.

    Rather clunky game with good graphics and weird story. I like the shooting mechanics but lack of game difficulty level, confusing layout of the maps and places that you just "get stuck" to the point of throwing this game out of the window make this a mixed experience. I didn't finish the games because at some point of time I decided that it is not worth it at all. The game is somethingRather clunky game with good graphics and weird story. Unplayable on the base ps4, wait to get a next gen console and buy the ultimate edition (I have reviewed the ultimate edition for ps5, gave that a 8/10, you can check my thoughts on that version over there)

    I finished the game, I will have to say that I'm impressed. A superb game with well-polished graphics and a great concept, god atmosphere, awesome physics, fun action-paced gameplay, and the amount of entertainment that hypes you up. Excellent unique weapons mechanics including enemies, skills, and characters are great! I have to sign up for a Metacritic account to make this review becauseI finished the game, I will have to say that I'm impressed. Excellent unique weapons mechanics including enemies, skills, and characters are great! I have to sign up for a Metacritic account to make this review because the game is so interesting.

    So before we dive into my review, I would rate the game in the following:
    Story = 9
    Graphics = 10
    Gameplay = 10
    Sound = 10
    Interaction/Physics = 10
    Settings = 10
    Map = 8.5
    Lore = 9

    Story: the story is pretty immersed and great, but most of the part is kinda confusing, but it is still greatly built and interesting, at least from my perspective...

    Graphics: truly amazing even tho I don't have RTX support, it's still pretty smooth and great. I don't have to worry about the lag. the atmosphere is so great. The map is huge and you can explore as many places as you can with no limitation once so ever (only if you finished the game or completed most of the sidequests)

    Gameplay: The gameplay is excellent, encountering enemies at random times and using my weapon to kill them is pretty satisfying, especially the weapon animation and the sound. not just that, you can change weapon type without having to switch guns is pretty unique. All enemies' abilities are...what can I say? those are pretty nice and challenging, it's hard sometimes but that's what makes it fun!

    Sound: I have no other words to say, it's so relaxing and great, it's a masterpiece. the gun sound plays differently for each weapon type, but they are perfectly synced with the animation. the environment sound is also excellent, you walk around making smooth footstep noise while there are lots of noise around you that makes up a good detail for the map, feels realistic sometimes lol

    Interaction/Physics: Woah! I'm impressed, you can interact with ALMOST ANYTHING in each location, pressing E, grabbing random crap, and throw anywhere and create a huge mess xD, but tho the physics are truly great, nearly the same as GTA V physics, I was expecting if I grab an object and throw in other objects, they would collide and do some physics stuff, and well...it did just like what I expected, you have so many stuff around you that you can interact with, like jumping on table stomping on every object making noises or even just grab 3 objects and throw into others to create a massive mess, not to mention it also fully collides with enemies, so you can bully them by grabbing stuff and throw into their faces haha! Or just make their HP low and then grab them and throw them into other enemies for more collision experiment xD, but seriously tho the interaction is at top-notch as you can grab anything everywhere you walk and combines with the amazing physics system, it's like a lucid dream. Oh here are some OTHER INTERESTING DETAILS, you can use your gun to break windows, but it's not just basic, IT SHATTERS LOTS OF TINY PIECES OF GLASS which you can spend at least 10-15 seconds to destroy 1 glass, you can also use Pierce type to fully destroy it, or grab any object and throw at the window for fun, now, here is the most interesting part about the physics, is that you can destroy stuff like if you go into the bathroom, you can destroy the toilet and the wall covering them too

    Settings: Dude, there are so many settings here, almost covered everything that I needed. they even include cheats for which if you are not a hardcore player or you just want to end a battle with monsters quickly (I only use cheats after finishing the entire game which I recommended you not to enable cheats before beating the game)

    Map: Hey don't get me wrong here, the map is pretty confusing and I get lost most of the time because there are so many directions to go. the map navigation is also pretty confusing, it doesn't show the mission/objective location (for some missions/sidequests) and it's very easy for me to get lost, but otherwise, the map design is great, greatly built, and have wonderful details with props around me to interact and messing around with them, don't worry Remedy, you're still doing a good job there buddy!

    Lore: The lore is interesting, like Research & Records, Case Files, Correspondence, Multimedia, Hotline. So much stuff to read and I can spend my entire day reading all of them at once lol, they did took the time to write lore for people to understand the game (a bit)

    So from these reviews of my opinion, here's the conclusion:
    - It's worth buying the game, but it's best to buy it only when it's on sale because the gameplay is only roughly 12-20 hours, but if your rich then sure, go ahead and buy it at full prices, the game is a masterpiece and I tonally recommended playing it!

    Ignore the negative reviews...the game deserves to be better, just try to make the story a bit more understandable. Have a wonderful day and good luck :D

    The game is very nice, but it has minor flaws. When you die, sometimes you spawn at first. And when you have very little health, the screen turns red and you can't see much. But the game is excellent, definitely get it.

    This is THE BEST game I ever played and enjoyed.

    I’m a fan of Half Life series who Valve killed and I never thought I would have played to another masterpiece: this is Control.

    I really wish it becomes a saga, it really blows my mind.

    The writing, direction, and performances are consistently brilliant. This is Remedy at the peak of its game. Control feels like a company rediscovering itself, waking from a long slumber. Remedy’s legs work as intended once more, the vestiges of sleep paralysis a distant memory.

    I don’t want to use the word masterpiece lightly, but what else do you call the combination of gleefully chaotic gameplay with earnest storytelling in a setting as refreshingly unique as Bioshock? What else do you call a combat system that goes so far beyond the simple act of shooting a gun without drilling down into a set of intricate menus and complicated controls? What else do you call darkly malevolent horror that doesn’t feel like it was cribbed from someplace else? What else do you call the crowning achievement of a studio with a unique voice, an uneven track record, and 25 years of experience? If there’s a better word to describe what Remedy has achieved with Control, I can’t think of it.
