Dec 9, 2019I'm sorry to give a so so vote, I love the software house but control has some defects. Nice atmosphere indeed, clean graphic. The story could have give us something more, and so the gameplay with a more deep mechanisms of superpowers and skills tree.
Some fights are way too much hard -

Jul 16, 2021This game, although good overall, with very smooth third person shooting, interesting story, characters, voice acting and a very good song near the end...has huge performance issues which makes it unplayable some times and at some specific places.

Aug 23, 20212 words are sufficient to describe this...."Boring f*ck". Overrepetitive and unoptimised piece of garbage this game is. Not a single moment was there where I didnt want to uninstall this trash

Aug 26, 2020I loved the gameplay and things you can do but the timeline of the story was different from remedy’s games i liked game but it has to many problems with the story
-
Sep 17, 2021In control you play is a woman that controls stuff, the game should be smooth, the problem is that the game runs on 6 fps on the PS4. Lots of frame drops, bad voice acting, bad characters. Not recommended at all
-
May 26, 2021The navigation is poor in this game. The most fun starts after 4-5 hours of the game. The plot was too complicated, I didn’t catch all the twists, to be honest. This game is not bad, but is not great also
-
Dec 21, 2019The weird and interesting in Control is overshadowed by extremely frustrating and dull combat. There seems to be a need in Remedy games to stuff them with enemies to shoot at - this has ruined this game this time. I would have much preferred this is there was a lot less repetitive combat and more of the weird!

Sep 12, 2019It’s ok. But graphics could be much better. A lot of artifact, blur. I can’t see anything on a long distance
-
Mar 2, 2021A good game, but with a fight that gets repetitive as the story progresses, the boss fights turned out to be just another fight against a strong monster.

Aug 28, 2019Видно то что у игры маленький бюджет! Сюжет никакой геймплей прикольный, без доната.
-
Dec 30, 2020This game pisses you off, and likes doing it. You dont respawning in a decent place. The map is a complete joke. I just deleted this game due to the developers being Jack holes about how to set things up properly and being unable to design a map with any intelligence. Screw this game

Oct 6, 2019I bought it when it came out expecting great things. Besides the world I think the gameplay is pretty subpar. The gameplay is pretty bland in my opinion. The story is Interesting and it will keep you pushing through until you understand it. The game is alright but not amazing.

Aug 29, 2019Such a mess. The storyline wrecked by the devs, confusing AF and huge problems with the narrative details. At least the gameplay was funny but not innovate at all, Psi-ops made it more than ten years ago.

Jun 7, 2020The mood, the story and the graphics are very nice ... but the fights with the bosses are too difficult and annoying toward the end of the story. I just gave up and erased the game because I couldn't defeat the "anchor" boss ... sad

Jun 22, 2020There is no way to choose the difficulty level.
Few languages supported.
If you don’t take side missions, you won’t get new opportunities.
Poor optimization on the PS4PRO.
Amazing atmosphere.
Addictive gameplay.
Complicated plot. -

Mar 31, 2021one day game, just an RTX benchmark,
no story,
got sick of running around these studip endless floors, there is a floor after floor after floor some quest is on the first floor - another is on the 5-th floor
just back off Remedy back off -
Nov 11, 2022Having received a telepathic message Jesse Faden arrives at Federal Bureau of Control looking to find her kidnapped brother.
The mix of physic abilities and gun-play makes for some enjoyable combat, but the game fails to introduce enough new ideas throughout it’s 12-15 hour run time and the endless grey corridors make for a dull setting. -

May 10, 2020GREAT game, but spoiled with really awful side missions which have none sense except to make platinum harder. Hard bosses in side missions and endless grinding of ability points for "Master Parautilitarian" adds nothing to the story and made only to spend your time grinding for platinum. Without end grind game would be probably 9! If you buy game just to pass story it would be great experience.
-
Jun 5, 2020Really has great potential, but just an immense rushed feeling to the gameplay, plot and design. I think they just needed a few extra months to get this right, but they didn't.
Pretty darn close to being great, but it's tedious, repetitive, and uninspired.
After finishing the game, i am even more disappointed. -
Apr 14, 2021Go to X.
X is not on your map.
Good luck.
Repeat.
Other than that, gameplay isn't good. Cover based shooting without cover. -
Mar 25, 2022its a good game. the physics is really good when you break stuff. Some side stories bosses are really great than the main quest bosses to be honest. my only problem is I got motion sickness the first time I played it don't know why.

However, I experienced a low frame rate often. -

Jun 12, 2021this would be a great game if it had a decent save mechanism and nav system but when you die you're likely to go back very far and have to travel (long download) then walk then travel again (long download) then walk, then kill the same enemies til you get to the boss again. the map is essentially useless so you have to navigate via signs on walls so there's too much walking around.

Dec 25, 2019Prica ok, sranje kraj, gemplej je nis spesl, ima zanimljivih delova, kombat mi je dosadan haos repetativan, igrica kojoj se necu vratiti sigurno i to je to.

Aug 9, 2020Quite "Ordinary" game. Good action, but bad story and main protagonist. Once you maximize throw and energy, you become overpowered and there is no need to use weapons or any other power.

May 30, 2021The destructive fun of the supernatural powers in Control were ruined for me by the awful frame rates, the unhelpful map, the distorted plot points, and the countless number of sheer cliffs that landed me in the endless abyss. It ended up being a very average experience for me. Nothing made me care about these characters.
-
Jul 31, 2020Very good game. But its mosly like B class of games. Animations looks wierd sometimes. Face animations reminds of Andromeda. And combat sometimes is great sometimes if boring.
-
Jun 20, 2020Story is weird but interrzsting. Graphisms are average, gameplay is common. Not a bad game but not awesome.

Playstation Official Magazine UKSep 25, 2019Impactful gunplay bolstered by a telekinetic twist, and a mystery you’ll be turning over for a long time afterwards. Welcome to the Oldest House, Director. [Issue#167, p.79]

Sep 18, 2019The writing, direction, and performances are consistently brilliant. This is Remedy at the peak of its game. Control feels like a company rediscovering itself, waking from a long slumber. Remedy’s legs work as intended once more, the vestiges of sleep paralysis a distant memory.

Sep 17, 2019I don’t want to use the word masterpiece lightly, but what else do you call the combination of gleefully chaotic gameplay with earnest storytelling in a setting as refreshingly unique as Bioshock? What else do you call a combat system that goes so far beyond the simple act of shooting a gun without drilling down into a set of intricate menus and complicated controls? What else do you call darkly malevolent horror that doesn’t feel like it was cribbed from someplace else? What else do you call the crowning achievement of a studio with a unique voice, an uneven track record, and 25 years of experience? If there’s a better word to describe what Remedy has achieved with Control, I can’t think of it.
