    Yeah I am enjoying cod again after several years of terrible editions this one get a lot right. On a side note metacritic should probably remove some of these angry Russian reviews I am sorry you are all so upset about a fictional story in a single prayer campaign but get over it. Everyone takes thing way too personally now days it is just a game.

    Any media material including a video game is an instrument of putting some ideas into people’s mind. Generally we all like to fight the bad guys in games to feel ourselves as a heroes. This game is showing real world’s bad guys as they are and naming them properly. So if somebody do not like to be named as bad guys then stop doing bad things! That is so easy!     I'm not a fan of shooters actually, but loved this one for the game play and relatively accurate depiction of Ukrainian historical events. Thanks, guys!

    One of the best shooter campaigns I've ever played. Actually I dont like shooters, but CoDMW is awsome. The story is exciting and the game feels like you are really in there.
    For me currently the best shooter I know.

    The Campaign is Amazing! And the multiplayer is great and spec ops is great but 2 things they need to do is edit foot steps and specialist streaks

    O melhor COD feito. Jogabilidade excelente, cores gráficas realistas, todos os modos bem feitos. Modo 2x2 extremamente balanceado, modo história imersivo. Melhor jogo jogo de fps atualmente.

    Amazing Graphics! Fun multiplayer! Great story too. Killing those evil Russian goons has never been so much fun. They like to annex countries and meddle in elections and kill civilians along the highway, if you can look past their atrocities and crimes against humanity it's a great game.

    Мне очень жаль разработчиков, но начнём!
    Русские в новой колде показаны нормально, НО солдаты Баркова это не солдаты, а изгои такие же как и сам Барков, серая мораль в игре показана и очень жестоко и круто. А наши же "патриоты" которым видеть ли не понравилось то что показывают как и добрых Русских, так и изгоев солдаты Баркова, просто жаль что разработчики постарались, а игру так сильно    Мне очень жаль разработчиков, но начнём!

In COD 4 the story takes place after a radical leader has executed the leader of a unnamed country in the middle east which sparks civil war in Russia. The game takes place in the shoes of soap and a us marine. The radical leader Zakhaev plans to restore Russia to its soviet-era glory. The game ends with a shoot out on a bridge somewhere in the Ukraine where Zakhaev is then killed. Modern warfare 2 picks up where cod 4 left off with 2 new characters the us army rangers with private first class Joseph Allen and task force 141 with Roach the game basically has makarov taking over Zakhaevs leadership and starting a full scale war between the united states and Russia with the mission no Russia this war leads into Modern warfare 3 with the United States being in War with Russia and Makarov kidnapping the Russian president in order to keep the war going to stop the peace treaty, like modern warfare 2 Russia invades american soil and makes a full scale assault against the united states with all the fingers pointing at makarov which is the main antagonist of the game. Which the new modern warfare installment actually happens in between modern warfare and modern warfare 2 so calling this game russianphobic isnt even true meaning you have to call EVERY CALL OF DUTY some sort of phobic. The game and campaign is great, this is from someone who has been playing call of duty since WaW, the multiplayer is a little slow and campy but the campaign is great and shows hows Task Fore 141 was formed and shows some unanswered questions about the modern warfare series. Don't believe these reviews about it being 0, these are people who knew what the modern warfare series is about and wanted it to be a political message 10/10 best cod in years.… Expand

Russians crying asside, this is the first COD ive gotten in 6 years. Ive played the rest just never bought them.     This game is the best call of duty that has come out in years. There are some balance issues that need to be handled but I am sure that will happen soon. The graphics are amazing and the online is very much fun. The campaign is amazing and feels great. Story is also really good and feels real.

    Incredible graphics and gameplay, but most of all - realistic and quite true depicting of modern-day terrorists. As a person from country, whose conflict with Russia is depicted in the game, I can't agree more.

    Ну наконец то на рынке появился нормальный шутан да еще и с неплохим сюжетом (как для шутана). Прошел с удовольствием, жаль что сюжетная компания довольно короткая (впрочем в CoD всегда так).

    A fantastic deep storyline and the best PvP experience I’ve had in a CoD game since BOll!!
    P.S. also as having family from Ukraine I am glad that Activision finally had the balls to show the world what Russia truly is.

Coz I expected something like Black Ops 4 Battle Royale with pieces of maps MW 1-3. And guys don't listen some Russians idiots which write negative reviews.     One of the Best COD games EVER if not THE Best, Campaign is amazing, Gameplay flawless, Graphics almost Battlefield level Graphics, top notch.
    And I really loved the Campaign, it is the first game ever to show that Muslims actually hate terrorism and fight against it, not to mention it shows that Muslims are the most affected people by terrorism .

    Great game, as usual for CoD. Also, quite realisitc plot, russians shown as they mostly are and I guess that is the main reason why they are so furious and trying to downvote the game. Russia want to cover loyal dictator's war crimes but remain with a good reputation - not this time. Thanks to developers and game managers for not being afraid to show real faces of the war in Syria (and not only).

    The game is fantastic. The graphics are phenomenal, the storyline is excellent (clearly based on the Syrian Civil War), and everything is infused with gritty realism. Nothing else in either the CoD or Battlefield universes holds a match to it. So sit back, relax, and get ready to kill some Russians!

    This game have great atmosphere. Single campaign is one of the best in series. Multiplayer is much better than last game of series. Now is not similar quake game. Now is closer CS Go.

    Игра вышла превосходна. Графика на высоком уровне, механика стрельбы и поведения оружия заслуживает уважения. Что касается Русских в игре, прекрасно показаны ужасы войны, какой беспредел всегда остается позади всего Мира и о чем все молчат. Хочу обратиться к жителям Российской Федерации, вы пишете что Русофобия и тд. Чего у вас так подгорает, правда в глаза колит или в чем причина? ИграИгра вышла превосходна. Игра про вымышленные события, вы даже не можете этого понять, и это очень грустно. Разработчикам пришлось на многое пойти, чтоб сделать такой продукт, и многое вырезать именно через вас. Для вас Иру смягчили куда только можно, но вам не нравится, если не нравится, можете не играть и не покупать.
    Хочу выразить благодарность. Разработчикам игра вышла шедевром, но через вырезания и выпиливания через РФ много потерял сюжет и компания. Очень порадовал конец с именами "Gaz", "Soup" и "Ghost". Надеюсь что в следующей части раскроите подробней Ghost "Призрака" и покажите его сюжетную линию. Капитан прайс вышел хорош. Но одно с чем я согласен с русскими, надо было и Британцев с Американцами показывать более жестокими. Миссия с поимкой "мясника" и допрос хоть и пытался быть жестким, но не стал. Сделайте Капитана прайса и других героев не такими добряками и хорошими парнями и игра заиграет реализмом. Моя оценка 10/10. С выхода третей части ждал продолжения, спасибо.    … Expand

    The game is just a masterpiece, although a fan of the Battle series. Less Russian community in the game - better game.

    This game does not deserve a 10 but I’m giving the game one to offset the people getting offended. I get people are tired of the old Russian is bad and America is good narrative but the missions in the campaign have been some of the best ones in a long time and the multiplayer is pretty good. If I did not have to offset those people review bombing I would give this game a 8/10.

    A great game with a plot that portrays an antagonist from one of the sponsors of terrorism. Everything is as it should be. =)

    The campaign was a master piece, the multiplayer has some balancing issues but overall a blast, the co op needs some improvements but still feels and plays amazing

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
