    Not sure where the good reviews come from, either your a brainlet or love to gamble. This game is truly bad, and an insult to previous call of duty games. It only took me one match to figure out what a pile of heaping trash.

En cuanto a la jugabilidad: el juego esta diseńado para campear y para jugar con gente de tu mismo nivel, los accesorios de las armas te quitan movilidad y tiempo para apuntar cuando deberia ser lo contrario y ni hablar de las claymores lo peor que han hecho.
    •En cuanto al contenido: esta plagado de microtransacciones, básicamente compras un juego donde tienes que pagar por el contenido, cuando en otros juegos lo podías conseguir gran parte del contenido jugando sin pagar un céntimo. Básicamente el 95% del contenido es de pago atraves de lotes de pago que cuestan 20€ o más cada lote (más caro que el pase de batalla)
    •En conclusion pagamos por un juego a 70€ para luego jugar contra gente que es muy campera y tienes que pagar por contenido que viene cada temporada y con una campańa deplorable.

    this game is absolute trash. the story mode is bad, online is terrible. so many modders and cheaters (more than GTA online).     American heroes save the world from evil Russians. All this looks very ridiculous, because of this you can not perceive the game. This fact negates all the positive aspects of this game.

    This has some major balancing issues.
    Certain guns are way too overpowered and certain play styles are just annoying to deal with.

    Unfortunately this is the best call of duty game I’ve played in a very long time, but the absolute embarrassment of space it takes on my console is so frustrating as it has made it unplayable. It’s well over 200GB now? It’s frustrating because I wish I could play it, but the fact I would either need to buy more memory or just play nothing else is unacceptable to me. They were so set on supposedly prioritizing realism in this game that they completely ignored other aspects of the game that are important, like having good maps. We cant forget about the new game mechanics that they've added! Get ready for some mounting, because its everywhere. The maps and game mechanics already incentivize camping, but this is multiplied exponentially when you add a **** game mechanic that only involves one thing. Sitting still. There's so much other **** that bothers me about this game, but I really don't care anymore. If you like this game and have fun with it, good for you.     Looks good and guns are quit good balanced.
    Maps, uav, camping, matchmaking,missions,carmos,battlepasss,spawns these things are all messed up and after 6 month they still havent fixed these issues(most of them they didnt even tr to fix.)

    Only good gunplay and graphics that's it. Buggy and laggy don't waste your money. Just get the old call of duty remastered it's much better then this rubbish. Also why the hell is it so hard to play splitscreen n why can someone tell me why I have to download so many add ons to play with my friend splitscreen

If this was the only game I had to play on a deserted island I would bury it and then feed myself to the sharks to make sure it was never discovered. It’s competently made and has pretty explosions— just like a transformers movie.     The campaign is very good, although I agree that they should stop demonizing Russia. But I mostly played multiplayer so I will review that. The weapons feel great and the gunsmith, where you can customise all your weapons, is a very good idea, but the maps ruin the game. Camping is way too dominant. And when you try to play aggressive you get punished for it. This makes the game for players that are not sitting around in one spot all match very frustrating. Everything else is good, but the maps are the most important aspect of the game and they are unfortunately bad.
    To who would i recommend this game? To players that like playing aggressive : Stay away from it and wait for the next CoD with better maps.

    I don’t know what it takes to be such a Russophobic script. I wanted to buy a game now, but I read reviews, a description of the script. I am a fan of COD, but I will never buy any more games in this series. I will wait for the next Battlefield.

    This game had serious potential, but the online matchmaking is among the worst I have ever played in my life. They need to go back to basics and keep it simple. SBMM single handedly killed this game for me.

    Skill match making is horrendous. Maps are not balanced. Spawns are the worst out of any Call of Duty ever. Game crashes constantly. Played a game with a team of 5 recently and after the first match, all of our systems crashed. 2 PCs and 3 PS4s at the same time crashed. ALSO... I got my Activision account hacked. Confirmed by Activision staff as well and admitted that it was happening to aSkill match making is horrendous. Maps are not balanced. Spawns are the worst out of any Call of Duty ever.     The Game doesn't even (Has Never) prioritized, or even incentivized Team Play...

    Even in Game Modes like Hardpoint, Dom, and S&D.

    Why play as a Team when 1 Guy can run and Gun, or camp his way through the Map and Kill everyone?

    Garner himself Kill Streaks that he got from Camping, then chain them together to get 40+ kills per match, then talk smack to you about how you suck after the match is over...

    Why play the objective when every player is a Mobile tank...

    A literal spartan soldier from Halo...

    You can run, jump, slide, and hip fire with insane accuracy without a Movement penalty...

    In CSGO, you'll miss your shots if your running, and die to a good player if you dont hit Headshots.

    Lets be honest, in COD, your not aiming for people's Heads... 99% of your kills are from body shots.

    In COD, you can 360 no scope with snipers... and Sprint while holding RPG's as your secondary, and a 75lb LMG as your Primary.

    Now, I'm not saying COD has to be realistic...

    But to be a "Fun" game.. (ie: less sweaty)...

    Activision, Gives "Casuals", Gimmicky ways to get kills so that they

    "feel like they are good at the game..."

    The 725, Thermal Snipers one way'ing through smoke, riot Shield, C4, Flash Bang, stun Grenade, Heart Beat Sensor using Noobs for instance...

    Activision forces Infinity Ward and Treyarch to put Gimmicks like this into the Game not only to make players "think" they are good at the game.

    But to also make them continue playing the Game, so they will spend more money on microtransactions.
    EA is famous for doing this to it's Developer's Titles.... Best thing to do to have fun in Call of Duty, is throw your K/D in the garbage because it honestly doesn't even matter... Even guys like Shroud still die in Matchmaking to Noob campers, Claymores, Rocket Launchers ect Call of Duty is a Casual Arena Shooter, It's there for when you just wanna shoot some **** and trash talk Racist Rednecks and 12 year olds... Oh, and the Campaign is actually good. If whatever reason someone is reading review though and wandering where the review for Warzone is.     The campaign is amazing. (Aside from plot holes) Same goes for co-op. But the multiplayer is so unbelievably terrible. The map designs are awful. It is also very difficult for new players to have a chance in this game because you are always put against people who are a higher level than you.

    easily a 0/10. the amount of cheaters is increasing from day to day. they announced that u get a notification when a reported cheater gets banned. so far people with 70 frags 360° nocoping seem to be just good at the game. its sad because its a refreshing BR but infinity ward isnt sadly enough able to get rid of cheaters.

    This 4 is not for single-player or Warzone, IMHO nowadays singleplayer is not needed at all. This 4 is for multiplayer.
    Pros:
    1. Really good animation; 2. Pretty cool graphics and not so bad optimization; 3. Good sound and soundtrack; 4. Excellent weapons customization; 5. IW add new guns and maps in game for free; 6.     2. Players don't have ability to choose map in 2020. This ability is standart for any shooter for almost 20 years, but Infinity Ward still don't know about it. IW, play any other shooter, even F2P. I suppose this fact proves, that many maps in game is poor, and IW understand - if they gives players ability to choose map, at least half of maps will be absolutely empty.
    3. Poor balance in match. Quite often I play versus or with much more skilled players, than anybody in match. It leads to giant gap between commands, some player can have k/d about 3 or higher (when any other have 1.5 max), that is absolutely unachivable in fair match.
    4. Ruined weapon balance. Some of guns are much weaker, than others and some are much stronger, than others. It leads to situation when some of guns never uses at all. MP5 or MP7 are much stronger, than UZI; M4A1 are much stronger, than SCAR, .357 Snake Shot - is absolutely leader in pistols and so on.
    5. One of the worst spawn system I've ever seen. Best example here is Shipment map. At least 3-4 times in match you will die 1 second after you spawn, because you've spawned in front of SHOOTING enemy. Few times I spawned already dead under enemy vehicle and 3 times I spawned in MY molotov cocktail, that I've throwed before death. How is this even possible? IW haven't played a single match on this map? No play-tests at all?
    6. After almost any patch IW fix 3 bugs and makes 10 new.
    7. Nowadays game requires 187 Gb available space - it's more than 2 GTA V or 2 BF V. Why people still don't have ability to delete singleplayer?    … Expand

But in the end the story is just a disgusting piece of propaganda. I'm really sorry for the developers (I'm one myself). It must have been outrageous to see that the propaganda is gonna overshadow everything. Sorry for my RussianThis could have been one of my favorit games in the last years. I am playing warzone and that game is still **** beta, it is season 3 right now and it will end in a week. There are also hackers, campers, toxic people in the game.     The game when it comes to campaign and co-op is great and the detail for gun mechanisms and etc is phenomenal but the main problem is the TERRIBLE EXCUSE FOR MULTIPLAYER I've played call of duty since Call of duty 3 (2006) and this is one of the worst multi players I've ever seen since ghosts

    Campagne superbe , mais très courte (4 heures en ultime) , multijoueur blindé de MICRO TRANSACTION , aucun mode zombies (après c'est pas très génant) remplacé par le mode survie qui sert à rien, bref un jeu remplit de campeur également.
    Ne conseille pas sauf le battle royal , mais j'oublié il est gratuit

    Ok the real part of the game the multiplayer. starting with pros, gunfight was a great addition and the weapons feel amazing. Now to the cons, easily the worst maps of any call of duty. This game promotes camping and caters towards new players. The weapons while feeling good are incredibly unbalanced. Killstreaks are unbalanced and everything about this game screams broken. Not making dead silence a perk is another dumb decision. Bringing back old maps doesn't help either because they have made this into a camp heavy cod so your favorite old maps end up leaving a bad taste in your mouth.    … Expand

    Amazing graphic but worst game movement and playing ever. Gun damage is unrealistic like it is in fortnite and every update only makes it worse.
    If u want a good and realistic shooter buy battlefield.

    Who codded this game? The **** is real. Bullets damn near don't matter. The jumping is horrible, why does it show us putting the plates in? So we can get **** up but the guy shooting us before we can put them in and aim? What hot damn garbage. Only thing that makes it fun is playing with friends.

    Game is made for console as they get all the advantages from assist aim to stun flashbangs doing more harm to pc players like being stunned or flashed longer and the affects on pc players are much more stronger than when a console player is hit with them, i also think that console players do more damage with weapon's that pc players this game leans way to much to consoles making it an unfair game

Along with horrible map design and all of those noob and broken perks it makes multiplayer a horrible experience. There is also skill based matchmaking which is horrible and creates horrible laggy lobbies, there is also no map voting. Now to gunplay. The gunplay in modern warfare is one of the worst if not the worst in any Call of Duty. It is extremely inconsistent. For instance, I have multiple video clips of someone cross map one shot killing me with a shotgun yet I hit marker them with the same shotgun from 5 feet away. I also have a video clip of me hit markering some kids head at least 5 times and he did not die. Now to spec ops, spec ops is an absolute joke and it’s horrible. You can tell they didn’t even try on it. There is not much to say other than that it is a **** and is utterly bad. Now campaign. The campaign in my opinion had good ground, it had great potential, and in many of the cutscenes had excellent graphics. But the campaign ended up not being really good at all. They really messed it up. There is a total of two or three decent missions and all the rest are either meh or just bad. The campaign overall was short feeling for me, didn’t really make sense, and at times very basic, cringey, and cliche. Overall the best thing about the game is the graphics other than that, it is complete garbage.… Expand

    Spent all of my Saturday night trying to find a match on warzone but could not for the life of me get into a match. Even tried creating a new account but it would not work either. Apparently it is because I have been shadowbanned?! Even though I am not a cheater/hacker. This game is a steaming pile of un-optimized sh**. Even when I was able to play it, it was a buggy mess. Unfortunatley only guns get to be "fixed" that "fast". usual game breaking bugs get fixed in more than 4 months or not at all. its what season 6? or so. still you cant cash in contraband contats if you reclaimed it after you got killed while carrying it. bugs on bugs on bugs every day, since launch. it could be a great fastpaced battleroyale, only if it was not by activison. the campaign is flat, bitter, and unintresting. pls cod dont try to be a mil. sim. you are not that realistic.

    This is the worst 8 months of my gaming life. This game crashes every 5 minutes and says "Server Disconnected" when i have good internet connection. I have good stat PC (gtx 1660 ti and ryzen 7 16 gb RAM) and this dog *** says to me (Server Disconnected). i bought this game fot full price and i want game, not crashes and lags every 5 minutes.

    O jogo tem uma boa história, bons gráficos, mas um multiplayer chato e fraquíssimo que desagradou grande parte do público.
    Fora que o modo operações especiais ninguém ao menos lembra que existe. Apesar de ter revolucionado a jogabilidade de call of duty, o multiplayer acabou sendo um tanto desagradável, partidas longas e demoradas, mapas horríveis e extremamente grandes.

    Historia muy buena empatizas con los personajes ademas si sos de la vieja escuela te va a gustar mas.

    Especial Ops al salir en su modo cooperativo supervivencia era muy aburrido y monotono ademas muy grande el mapa para 4 personas, las especial ops la pasabas bien con amigos pero muy buenas pero dejo de recibir actualizaciones y murio R.I.P F super infravalorado.

    The multiplayer is unbalanced and you can't be good unless you're either 1) a god who plays cod 24/7 or 2) a camper. The TTK is insanely low and players are often hard to spot quickly due to camo. This leads to a huge amount of camping and an overall, **** experience

    As you would believe this is just another COD game that has little to no changes from the others. The campaign was pretty decent but extremely short. The game is just to similar to the other games to justify buying it. If you want a different COD experience then play Warzone its free and much better than this.

    Call of Duty? This one is more like Camp of Duty. Bring your tents because the multiplayer is full of players that think their life is actually on the line. Campaign is fantastic. Spec-ops is bad, very bad. Warzone is good as long as you dont mind getting annihilated by streamers.

    Warzone is not something I play but I have to download it and install all updates for it.

    The updates for this game are enraging there is no other word for it, the numerous amount of times I have finished work opened up battle net wanting a quick game after a hard day only to be met with a update which will take so long to download you wont be playing till the next day at the very least is unforgivable in terms of updates.

    I have had numerous occasions after installing 190GB game where I have had to download 100+gb updates, the last one was 3 days ago for a 5 GB update which took most of my evening to download to yesterdays 32 GB update which is still downloading.

    The worst part is none of these updates are for multiplayer they are for warzone which I don't play or for black ops crap which I don't own.

    Also the battle pass is now completely defunk for MW because no rewards are for MW they are all for warzone which is FREE and black ops which I don't own ... so I paid £50 for a game I no longer gett any content updates for but free warzone which I don't even play gets updates?

    This is the first COD game I bought since early 2000's and will be the last this kind of crap is completely unforgivable and enraging when all I want to do is relax and shoot people in the face.    … Expand

    I am going to assess this game in 10 different categories and assign a score for each.     Visuals: this is perhaps one of the best looking call of duties of all time. everything looks good and you have a great amount of control over the settings. I have managed to make this game look amazing with minimal performance penalty on anything from a 1080 to a 3070. Here the game gets a full 10/10 for graphics;(10/10);

    Audios: the game has excellent sound design. this is not as good as what frostbite engine has to offer. gun sounds all sound dampened and lack base, how ever voice acting, sound effects and the weapons sounds all sound really good. this is for sure an above average sound design and I will give it a (9/10);

    interfaces. it is bad, they have put in minimal effort, party system is bad, placement of buttons are bad, there are very few cautionary interfaces in places that matter and and far too many in places that are not as important. if you are in loadout menus and your squad leader do anything you are pulled out. the main screen of your character walking endlessly is a roll of a dice! in each patch new bugs get introduced. anything from half of your screen glowing to your character not loading at all. this is so bad that I am going to assume they went out of their way to screw this up and I am going t ogive them a 0/10, inexcusable! (0/10);

    Single player story: the game is ok, I actually had a lot of fun playing it until it got to the blatant racism, torture, and abuse of children. in older call of duty games they used to be more subtle, this is just poor writing, there are a million ways to portray someone as bad, this was just unimaginative. that being said I had fun playing the single player. I am giving it a (8/10);

    Coop: I was going to give this section a 10/10 but I am instead giving it a 0/10 here is why; coop was good. it had a healthy community, no toxicity, fantastic implementation of crossplay and an amazing story line to back it up. it was fun to play and easy to ear experience points in. However, they are trying to burry it, the servers have become non-responsive and do not put you in matches anymore, menus are broken and riddled with bugs and they keep getting worse in each patch. if Activision does not care about this portion of their game, I am not going to give them any points. this is the only part of this game that worth the price tag and they don't want to maintain it. (0/10);

    Multiplayer: On PC it is bad, does not worth your time, bad net code laggy buggy and broken with terrible match making. incredibly toxic community filled with racism, sexism and filth. children screaming things that are absolutely inexcusable. filled with cheaters and you have no way of reporting verbal abuse, bullying racism and sexism. on PC it is a pile of garbage unless y7ou are playing a custom match with a group of people you know, but at that point you and your friends can literally play anything else. (0/10);

    Community: Single player does not have a community, coop has an excellent respectful community but as we established if Activision does not care I am not giving them points for it and the multiplayer is garbage. I am going to give it a -5 points. I feel half of my maximum amount of happiness, less happy when I engage with this community; (-5/10);

    Price: there are better indie games that cost less and do not have microtransactions. this is a $15 game that is being marketed as a $70 title. I am giving this a (2/10);

    Microtransactions: they are not cosmetic, those skins yield in-game advantages, some skins are harder to see in game, some weapon tracers and effects (like the pixel one) block your view and give the shooter an advantage. some kill animation (floaty skulls etc) actually block your vision. dark outfits like rose's dry suit in a shadow make her practically invisible. This game is effectively pay to win. (0/10);

    Support: The support sometimes shows some surprising acts of competence that is truly out of character for Activision developers. but 70% of the time they are useless incompetent people providing **** support. Sometimes the game refuses to load and you have to redownload a 200 GB game ... hope your internet does not have a data cap! (3/10);

    so averaging all the scores it is a 2.7 out of 10. I round it up just incase I am being to harsh.    … Expand

    LOL, 203GB used to exchange a game that is lack of getting a game runs smooth.(intel i5-8300H and GTX1060 6G) The matching system is bad, I always match up to someone who is much more better than me(Yes Im a newbie). The campaign is good but it wont cover up how they failed in multiplayer.

    Bought the game 2 days before this review. One thinks that the game should have a smooth, bug-free user experience because it's been almost 2 years since its first release. Anyway, spent 3 hours to figure out which packages to install to play the campaign mode. Finally managed to do it, 30 seconds into the game I got hit with a black screen on my PS5, just stuck. Restarted the game 3 timesBought the game 2 days before this review. One thinks that the game should have a smooth, bug-free user experience because it's been almost 2 years since its first release.     Campaign and story line here sucks balls. Infinite warfare offers much more comlplex gameplay and interesting setting/plot.

However, Modern Warfare is the biggest video game disappointment in my 10 years as a gamer. I'm about a 1.4 KD player, but thanks to the super aggressive Skill Based Match Making in this game, as soon as I start to perform well, I'm thrown into lobbies withI'm giving it a zero because I'm excluding Warzone, which I consider to be a seperate game that I find to be absolutely excellent. However, Modern Warfare is the biggest video game disappointment in my 10 years as a gamer. I'm about a 1.4 KD player, but thanks to the super aggressive Skill Based Match Making in this game, as soon as I start to perform well, I'm thrown into lobbies with ONLY a bunch of insanely talented people and I can't even get a single kill. SBMM is completely stupid, all COD fans started off being terrible and getting killed all the time, but because there was no SBMM, we could actually see and feel our improvement. Now since you're always up against people of your talent, it always feels like you can't get ahead. The maps are the worst of any shooter of all time by far, they have no flow to mildly put it they encourage savage camping, cross a street and you're dead. The terrible maps plus the worst spawn logic of all time equals total chaos with no flow, you can't read a map, speculate as to where the enemies are because they could literally be anywhere and the odds are that they're camping. On top of that, the absence of shooting enemies showing up on the mini map makes the whole map flow experience the absolute worst, it couldn't be any worse if they tried. It's a real shame because the visuals team at Infinity Ward did a truly spectacular job, the game is gorgeous and the gunplay is the best feeling of any shooter I've ever played. But because of just how unplayable multiplayer modes are, I can't even give any credit for that. Why would I care about good looks if I'm not having fun? That's what she said.

    Also the campaign is despicable Russophobic historical revisionism and it's so aggressively trying to lie to you (blaming Russia for the highway of death when it's actually the USA that did it in real life) that I just can't play through it. I can't believe they'd do that to the Russian people, passing the blame for American war crimes to Russia. This seriously crosses a line for me. For this total historical insult trying to turn public opinion against Russia even further than it already is, on top of the worst online experience of any type of game I have ever played of my life, this game is a total big fat sloppy 0 and I wish I could have my money back. Thank god for Warzone though, which I'm absolutely loving. I feel bad for Infinity Ward because I'm pretty sure all the **** pro-noob anti-russian **** comes from Activision. So F U Activision. I'm not buying the next COD.    … Expand

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
