    They are such garbage to not been able to make a new game with good mechanics and story. Instead they Remake something old to save effort and money and change the story a bit to a typical propaganda trash the US always does in its all kind of media.

    First and foremost I would like to compliment all the actors and designers on an amazing story line and campaign. It was immersive and you really connected with the story and the characters. This is where the good news stops... The multiplayer is absolutely trash. You cannot do anything in this game, just mindlessly run around and spray and pray into oblivion. It is very depressing that this game continues to fail in all aspects. If you want to play a game that involves actual thought and skill you may as well save your money. This game is terrible when it comes to anything outside of the Campaign. Don't forget about the nasty ass practice of micro purchases and live services. SAVE YOUR MONEY!… Expand

Не признавая иных шутеров и до крови споря с теми, кто отдавал предпочтение Battlefield. Я, черт возьми, в этот раз даже сделал предзаказ, не пожалев денег на Enhanded. Жалею об этом сейчас. Очень.
    Такого извращения я еще не видел. Правда. Я сам из Минска, не русский, но воспитывался в советской школе, где мне, как и другим школьникам, привили жесткое неприятие фашизма. Мой прадед погиб в марте 1945, а дед прошел концлагерь. То, что вторили на наших землях нацисты, тут знают все.
    Мы играем в игры, чтоб развлечься и получить удовольствие. А не для того, чтоб на нас выливали ушаты пропагандистского дерьма. Мне тут показывают национальные батальоны, называя его русскими (не ошиблись ли страной?). Мне тут показывают откровенный фашизм и геноцид, говоря, что это творят русские (а не наоборот ли это было?). Мне говорят про "серую мораль", демонстрируя чернуху. Русские вешают мирное население, убивают детей, травят газом, а американский спецназ открывает огонь только по тем, кто держит в руках оружие.
    Кампанию перестал проходить после того как 5-летняя девочка отверткой завалила русского солдата, который очень хотел ее застрелить. Наркотический бред какой-то.

    Again bad Russians. Only this time they are shown as murderers, terrorists, and sadists. Lies of real events. There is no gray morality, but the dark morality of the Russians as the main enemies of the planet is shown. Thanks Activison for unleashing the conflict.

    In my opinion this is an average game. I played it for a few days, and I'm likely done with it. But I can see how others would enjoy it.

    Campaign: I like how it plays. I enjoyed some of the more open ended segments. However, the story is forced and contrived. I did not enjoy the story at all. And you know what else? I'm an American, and I'm not happy about the story. The game was supposed to be "shocking". And you know what? It's shocking how afraid the writers were to offend anyone. I'm not even going to talk about all the blatant feminism in the game. It's despicable that the game depicts Russians doing things that Islamic extremists have done, and still do. It seems that the writers were afraid to depict a Muslim committing an atrocity. I guess that's not PC. This game was supposed to be depicting modern warfare. Instead it refuses to depict anything that actually happens. What about ISIS? Nope, we get a fictional story that vilifies Russians. It's absurd. And you know what political group wants people to think Russians are evil? If you guessed the extreme left, you'd be right. This game is extreme left propaganda. And you know what else? The highway of death was something us Americans did during Operation Desert Storm. I understand the game is fictional, but come on. The "Campaign" gets a 1/10 for me, because I cannot get immersed in this pile of trash.

    Spec-Ops mode: This mode is complete trash too. I would rate this mode a 2/10. Juggernauts break the whole experience for me. Take Juggernauts away, or nerf them and I can see myself having fun. The last survival game I played, my buddy and I were enjoying ourselves. We had a few close calls, but we were having fun. Then, we got to the wave where you get two juggernauts. After shooting one of them with an RPG, then shooting him in the face with .50cal about 30 times, then having him brush it off and proceed to shoot me, and kill with his minigun I decided that I do not like this game and am done playing it. My buddy and I are both former Infantrymen. So we appreciate the accurate portrayal of weapons and tactics. Of course, it's a COD game. And we don't want a 100% accurate portrayal of combat. But when a guy wearing an EOD suit, wielding a minugun, who is somehow harder to kill then a vehicle comes and kills you. It just breaks any level of immersion we were experiencing at the time. It's just a cheap form of artificial challenge. In the mission, "Door Kick". My buddy and I were communicating, and tactically moving though the level. When we finally got the end, we were killed by a Juggernaut. If this was Doom, I would expect enemies like that. But this is a game that is supposed to be depicting modern warfare. And take it from me, the Juggernaut is just stupid. The 4 player co-op mode is also trash. And I should be able to play it with just a buddy or two with no randos if I don't want to. The Spec Ops mode is a complete and utter disappointment.

    Muliplayer: I enjoyed it for the first couple days. I really enjoy the gunsmith system. The customization is awesome in this game. I also really appreciate the absence of loot creates. The gun play is also really awesome. And the battle bass system is nothing to complain about. I don't care about cosmetics, so I will not purchase it. But I don't feel like the game is trying to nickel or dime me. I have access to all weapons, cammos, and attachments. Overall, the Multiplayer is really good. It's just the people. Everyone seems to be using every cheap trick in the book to get an edge. And a lot of times, I just don't have fun playing it. The campers ruin the game for me. My KD ratio is about at 1, so I'm a pretty average player. But there are just too many games where I just don't have fun because the whole other team will be camping. Walking around the map for a long period of time, not being able to find anyone, dropping dead, then watching the kill-cam to see a the player who killed you not moving and just aiming at a door is not fun at all.

    Overall, the campaign in trash. And multiplayer can be fun in short bursts. The problem is that Spec Ops is so bad, that when I get tired of multiplayer I don't have a relaxing mode to fall back too. Overall, I'm not happy with this game. But I can see how others would really like it. I hate it though.    … Expand

    After CoD MW 2, the CoD franchise quality only decreased. The only thing this game is good at is the gun play and the balanced multiplayer (Perks etc.).

    BUT my review is based on microtransactions, I HAVE ALREADY PAID A HIGH PRICE FOR THE GAME and now I need to pay even more to unlock custom things?

    Encore un fps qui est sorti avec de nombreux beug. Mais c est qui le plus navrant, c est la communauté qui est a chier. Dans n'importent mode de jeu ceci et de la mme ca campe de partout ca joue pas l'objectif car pas de récompense au bout. Le passé de combat et sortie et je revois la même chose que bo4.     - Skill-based matchmaking (sbmm), muchísimo peor que cod advanced warfare, aquí estás jugando un torneo competitivo en todas las puñeteras partidas, desesperante, que aunque no digan nada, no hace falta ser un experto para saber que lo hay, todas las partidas igualadas o la gran mayoría te mete en partidas perdiendo y de paliza.
    - Incitación a campear, los mapas con tantas ventanas, puertas y esquinas, solo se les ve la cabeza, hasta los desafíos de camuflajes te piden bajas agachado, apoyando el arma, básicamente que seas un paralítico a la hora de jugar.
    - Desvalance de armas por completo, en las partidas solo verás la m4, y antes solo la 725 de escopeta, pero eso si que lo han arreglado.
    - Silencio mortal como especialidad en vez de como ventaja...
    - Sonido de los pasos elevadísimos, dicen que los han ido tocando, pero por lo visto solo para cuando vas agachado y apuntando, para incitar más a campear y fastidiar las partidas, parece un desfile de elefantes cuando corres.
    En resumen, si quieres jugar la campaña, las operaciones especiales y supervivencia, pues está bien, no es nada del otro mundo tampoco, pero tienes un rato de distracción, pero pagar mínimo 70€ para esos modos de juego porque el multijugador ES INJUGABLE, déjame decirte que prefiero jugar al Mario Galaxy de la Nintendo Wii.    … Expand

    Top 3 for worst call of duty’s of all time. Gun play is great, but everything else is atrocious. The campaign sucked, multiplayer sucks, and co op is a complete joke. I would suggest NOT wasting $60 on this piece of garbage game. Joe cecot and the infinity ward crew needs to all be fired. They have no idea what they’re doing and don’t listen to the community.

This would all be fine, but the game developers have other game mechanics that conflict with these ones. For example, the shooting while sliding, or the shooting while jumping, or the fact that characters yell call outs, even if the player is trying to sneak. Two major pros of the multiplayer are the gun smith and the way the guns feel and sound. Everything about the guns in this game are amazing. Recoil feels so real, unlike any other game I've played. The sound design is incredible, the guns sound real and heavy. Finally, the gunsmith is incredible. You can change your weapon to fit your play-style exactly. This is the one aspect of the multiplayer that feels strategic. When actually playing the game, there is very little skill involved. If you move, you will die. There are far too many random angles, corners, windows, buildings, etc. that you can get shot from constantly. This, in addition to the realistic lighting, the loud footsteps, and slower movement speed create a camping meta. I find myself dying much too often from skill-less things such as the many angles, bad spawns, overpowered weapons, and claymores. This game was not made for competitive people, it was made for people who want a game that requires no skill. Whenever I play this game now, I don't get mad, however, I do not have fun. Even when I'm doing well, I find myself having no fun. What I want to emphasize in this review is that the game is not fun. I hate to criticize the game developers so hard, but when you make a game that has conflicting features and poor decision-making all-around, you should be criticized for it. It's a shame that the game developers couldn't deliver on the game mechanics and the maps because the gun play is unmatched.… Expand

All in all very very happy that I did not pay anything for it. My god I would have felt cheated if I payed for this. Campaign is pretty good, but the multiplayer is the worst multiplayer game EVER.     Worst game I have ever gotten in a long time. It didn’t even let me play the campaign because I didn’t have a dlc. How disappointing. And don’t even get me started on the multiplayer. It sucks. Every match I get into is only keyboard and mouse players even if you turn off cross play. I guess that’s what I get when I play a keyboard and mouse supported game. In other words if your onWorst game I have ever gotten in a long time. It didn’t even let me play the campaign because I didn’t have a dlc. How disappointing. And don’t even get me started on the multiplayer. It sucks. Every match I get into is only keyboard and mouse players even if you turn off cross play.     the maps are way to big and in every little corner sits an enemy. You cant pass a street withot die instant! sorry good, that i didnt pay anything for my key.. the Camp. is ok nothing special ;p

    An update two weeks ago broke the game in Australia, giving us lag spikes like I have never seen in any game, EVER. The game is literally unplayable 3 games out of 5. I've opened multiple support tickets with Activision asking what is being done about this and when we can expect an fix and they have ignored every one.

    I think this Game is excellent - im a tough reviewer and 8 is an outstanding score for me. The single player campaign is blockbuster mind blowing graphics and varied gameplay for a FPS. It really is a high budget game the graphics are amazing....the zero and low scores are really ridiculous in my opinion sounds like a lot of people cant handle get their butts kicked online from betterI think this Game is excellent - im a tough reviewer and 8 is an outstanding score for me. The single player campaign is blockbuster mind blowing graphics and varied gameplay for a FPS. There is a few graphical problems but it should be fixed within couple of weeks. Game run average 85fps Rtx2080Ti and ryzen 2700x at max settings ultra wide screen 3440x1440 with ray tracing on so in near future can be only better. Update after reaching level 60 at MP I need to lower the score cos the MP looks like a mess. Only one thing what you can do in this game is camp and camp only. Common problem is to see other players plus bullet register is **** as well, so I wouldn't recommend to anyone who liked MP like BO4 or BO3 cos this is very different.     The campaign was fun and the multiplayer is decent but the spec ops mode is astoundingly bad. There are so many glitches even after their massive patch and the difficulty of this mode is really unreasonable.

    Buy the game on disc, prepare for excitement.......then spend the next 12 hours waiting for the 86 Gig mandatory download to complete before you can actually play the game! All I want to do is play the single player campaign, but no Activision want to waste my time because they can’t be bothered to include the actual game on the disc. Would get a refund if I could!

    In their effort to cater to newer players, infinity ward has effectively ruined what could’ve been a great game. Gameplay has no notion of skill as TTK is far too fast. Terrible weapon balance, visibility and SSBM hit the nail in this games coffin. This game sucks!

    The game has an amazing weapon customization system. Although the pumping arms a bit to long. Actually, the way the weapon sounds and looks, how it is animated-all at a very high level.
    The game engine has been updated. Added night battles. The ability to fire from behind cover, etc.
    As for the story missions, they are quite typical for the series. But the pitch itself is lopsided and stinks of propaganda a mile away. I have enough of this nonsense on the local news and I want to see a quality story, sane motivation of the characters. Not " they're evil because they're evil."    … Expand

    The MP maps are worthless, unbalanced once again and way too small for the amount of players in the game. it's literally a rage inducing crap show over and over with people camping their spawns and then the spawns never rotate.     Warzone is the only reason this game is living, they managed to make one mode correctly.

    Game is broken. In the days you can get into a match it's filled with cheaters. Also the better you are the bigger your hit box and the less damage you do can take and the less damage you do. Plus it lowers your aim assist. Pathetic rubber banding on top of skill based matchmaking and ridiculous lag comp make this game less competitive than Mario kart

    3. Оружие. К оружию в общем и целом нет претензий, но есть некоторые просто конченые обвесы/чертежи/оружия, из за которых всю игру может заруинить один урод. К примеру, есть некоторые особи, которые используют нож и на второй слот ставят полицейский щит, в итоге сзади его невозможно подстрелить, а с переди ты просто по нему не попадешь потому, что при подкате он развивает такую высокую скорость, что ты его и заметить вряд ли сможешь.    … Expand

    Too many campers. I would be complaining about it normally, but it’s get worse as the life of the game goes on. Every match somebody’s sitting. Some of the maps need to have certain areas closed off because it becomes a camper fest. Other than that complaint about multiplayer, I will say the campaign is fun.

    Absolute garbage. There's a bug where when you're escaping the ship from flooding in on you you randomly keep falling to the side and "failing" the mission. Close and deleted. Modern Warfare 2 was amazing so I was sad to see this installment was literally unplayable.

    I don't care about the "russophobia-wave", i think it's pretty a stupid thing, it's just the same singleplayer story you can find in every FPS game:, boring and useless. The real crap in this game is Multiplayer: still the same old s**t with kill streaks that encourages people camping in every matches turning the game from FPS to an Idle Game. You can only filter the game by mode and not by map.

    The whole PvP is based on camping on hidden cornerns. Maps give too much space to campers and there is no fun in waiting for 5 min behind a door for someone to pop up. The graphics is awesome but the level design is awful. Playing this game made me regret infinite warfare, and that says it all.

    When I actually am connected to a match with ping below 70, I perform really well and generally have a great time. This is rare. Extremely rare. It's getting to be such a bad problem that the game is nearly ruined for me.

    On top of that, there are still massive stability issues with this game. I play on PC. I have to reinstall the shaders every single time I launch the game or it can't be played. It will either crash or it won't function at all and I have to force it closed in order to even use my PC. This particular problem exists for every single game mode. It takes over 35 minutes to reinstall the shaders. That means that I launch the game and 35 minutes later I might be able to play the game.

    The game itself would be fine if it actually worked and gave you a reasonable ping for your matches. Since that's not the case and likely never will be, I do not recommend buying this game on any platform. There seems to be zero effort put forth to address these problems. Hundreds of millions in profit on a game like this and I'd estimate about 2 years behind on bug fixes. They continuously prioritize cosmetic fixes, items, and various almost completely irrelevant gameplay adjustments but refuse to fix the most extreme problems facing the game. I have sent in dozens of bug reports, most going unanswered, with almost no response whatsoever from Activision about future adjustments and fixes for these problems. I would categorize them as catastrophic in nature.

    In 2020, with good internet like I have, there's no reason to be matched with a server at over 100 ping. You can't tell me there are zero other players near me that I can match to and that I can only play with people from other countries. Doesn't make any sense at all why this is still a problem.    … Expand

Guns have no balance and lethals that support camping like the Claymore and the Mine have been buffed so that casual noob can safely pitch his tent in the corner to cockblock your nuke. But after that honeymoon ends you realize you arent even playing COD anymore. First off, the map design is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. People need to lose their jobs over this. They ruined the pace of TDM completely, primote camping with favorable mechanics. Most games end by a time limit and not by score??? Why, you may think - and its because people hide and camp. Either you are spawn camping or are gettign spawn camped because you win games and start getting thrown into noob lobbies that are losing 20 - 80 so that you can somehow clutch?
    Skill Based Match Making is atrocious because you're forced to sweat every game if you want to win. Even with this I maintain a 2.0 - 4.0+ KD most games, but 70% of the lobby is usually low lvl and have neg kd's, have no map awareness, and it always ends up you having to carry them. **** gets boring.
    I will say out of the 200 hours I put into this flaming pile of ****(I have began to question why I even let myself live) - there were a few games where the teams were evenly matched; like 5 games.

    Game Mechanics and Bugs.
    COD has had over a decade to learn how to implement vehicles and they are still lacking and 2 dimensional. Although not hugely buggy thanks to patches, there are still bugs that ruin the experience. Are you a chad that like to parkour everywhere? Dont crouch slide into your carepackage cause that'll kill you. Lots of dying behind cover after you slide into it because the SBMM built a lobby where you're the only one with double digit ping. Its a chorus of small **** that ticks you off and ruins the experience. Its obvious the game was rushed as just another soulless product for the corporate interests.

    Microtransactions and Cost:
    Thank god I didnt waste 90$ on this shallow wannabe COD imposter. Even on sale for 50$ I feel ripped off. Microtransactions are fully cosmetic so its not a big deal who wants to waste money on pixels.

    Verdict: My honeymoon ended and I've been so frustrated with how shallow and lazy this game is,that I actually made an account on metacritic just so share how **** bad this game is. The original dev team that made COD great actually moved onto Respawn Entertainment so whatever talentless hacks that slave away under the chains of activision make this deserve sweet release.
    COD is now like FIFA, copy pasted corporate trash that a bunch of normies and casuals will buy up for 90+$. Its really sad. They started to pander this game to make it "easier" for casual and new players but it ultimatly destroyed the COD we all know and love( R.I.P. ).

    Never trust Activision and EA to do anything right.
    Save your money and go buy insurgency or Squad where you'll have real fun and your money won't be going into some corporate conmans 401k, but instead will be helping indie devs follow their passion building games with ACTUAL soul.

    La campaña me pareció muy buena y gráficos buenos pero todo lo bueno que tiene el juego se ve eclipsado por lo terrible que el multijugador es, terrible diseños de mapas que parece que los hizo alguien que no tiene idea de los CoD

    This game is based on the same old Id Tech engine as back in the old days so basically a heavily modified q3 engine. So not only is this a rehash of the same old game over again it feels like a moneygrab like the fifa games which are copy pasta from last year. They always reintroduce exploits and bugs that where fixed and ironed out in older COD's .     Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
