    Bought this game for co op with a friend and it's awful. No scoreboard or unlocks. No reason to replay missions and they're so hard it must be broken

    Absolute trash, worst multiplayer i've ever seen at any CoD. Its makes Ghosts look like a master piece. Most disappointing CoD of all time. Sound and footseps are terrible, maps horrendus, ridicoulus time to kill. Trying to be a Rainbow 6 kind of game, and just sucks. What a shame.

In such environment, there is no excuse for game just to be a game. Russia is a big country with people of various interests, view on life and opinion on politics.     If in-detail: I am true fan of Call of Duty since 2004 and first Modern Warfare. I liked the script of original story line and I didn't find it rusophobic at all, even well-known mission in MW2. which was part of the plot. But this time CoD really crossed the line...

    Russia, as a country, in this game: Violence without any particular reason and against mostly women and children. Physcho general [statements by media that he is a rogue one didn't confirmed], serving and promoted by the country. Continious statements from particular heroes of the game about killing Russians and accusing them in terrorism. There are few more details, but this is just to frame a picture.

    Main heroes of the game: Tough guys making uneasy but logical decisions for greater good.

    I don't think this is how well-announced 'gray morale' looks like.

    I see lots of reviews, where people is trying to claim that this is really how Russia looks like.
    Long story short: Guys, if you didn't attend history lessons, please google [Name of Country] war crimes, specifically good guys wanna-be, and you will find lots of interesting stuff there, which is heavily connotating with this game. But if you aspire to see Russia this way, it's a different story...

    From pure game perspective: nice graphs, but not impressed, mechanics from previous games. Nothing special, will return to BFV.    … Expand

It's an absolute camp-fest, the killstreaks are so overpowered it isn't even funny anymore, the maps are the worst in the series, the spawn system was likely designed by a four year old, and the RPG spam makes me cringe. Seriously, just don't get this game, and if you feel like you must then just rent it, play the campaign which should only take you like five hours, and then return it because it's just not worth your money… Expand

    The footsteps in multi player are SOOO LOUD! My neighbors filed a noise complaint because they thought I was stomping around my apartment. Sarcasm obviously. For real though the foot steps being so loud really adds to the amount of people that camp in the game as if it wasn’t already bad enough. The aim down sights speeds are ridiculously slow for smg’s compared to other weapons and are basically useless. Again the footsteps being so loud make it ridiculously difficult to run n gun. The marksman rifles take the same amount of shots to kill someone as the smg’s up close even though the damage stat is way higher. The only guns that are of any value are the ARs. Or the LMGs if you plan on camping (which at this point I would.) Very few multi player maps at this point as well.

    Also no zombies! Definitely would of waited until the price dropped if I knew there was no Zombies mode

    Super glad it’s boots on the ground and not a very futuristic game though

    Esse jogo foi a pior coisa que já fizeram, cai o multiplayer a cada 3 partidas, só favorece camper, e ainda dá vantagem para os campers, quem tenta jogar de vdd não é recompensado e se ferra, não aguento 10 minutos desse jogo horrível

    This game is ridiculous. I am not even a Russian and I am mad with the stupid American propaganda that they included in this game. The funny part is that many of the events in the game are based on true stories and were actually committed by the American or British troops during the Iraq war. I actually paid money for those **** at activision to waste my time panhandling for more **** money. Gameplay is **** Players constantly spawn RIGHT BEHIND YOU. Not even just sometimes either.     Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
