    I really like the looter shotter genre. I recently played over 300 hours of The Division 2. I didn't feel the framerates drop even while playing on normal PS4 (not PRO). I recommend this game to all lovers of the genre. Fantastic! :)

    Honestly I think this game is fantastic so far, i don't understand why people are saying its too similar to the previous games because I think they made enough changes to the game to distinguish it from the previous games. I understand the complaints about the performance but for me the game is fun enough to ignore them until they get fixed. Which they will.     I bought the super deluxe edition online for the original ps4, and here’s what I found. The game has minor issues that can become big problems, guns and items falling through the floor, restarts needed when NPCs don’t do what they’re meant to, screen pop ups getting stuck on the screen, minor AI glitches. Why the score though? The game stays true to the original games we fell in love with,I bought the super deluxe edition online for the original ps4, and here’s what I found. Why the score though? The game stays true to the original games we fell in love with, memorable Easter eggs, beautiful guns and two days worth of non stop gameplay with some good humour.     This is a great game. I love that they didn't change much. Stuck to their guns (pun intended) and made a really fun game overall.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First I want to start off by saying that anyone who Complains about frame rate and resolution issues, that is a problem on your end. I play on PC and have had nothing but amazing frames, quality and it is exactly what I expected.nany people state that it doesn't feel like a borderlands game because they want another borderlands 1 or 2. I am happy with the approach they took with borderlands 3. It feels fresh and new. The ending of the story feels somewhat weak and incomplete, but overall very fun.… Expand

    The games is currently unplayable in local co-op. This was the sole reason I purchased the super deluxe version of this game. I was incredibly excited for BL3 as I had poured hours and a hours into previous titles buying more than one copy of the handsome collection, 1 for xbox one and 1 for ps4. There is no vertical splitscreen available currently. The horizontal split is unbearable andThe games is currently unplayable in local co-op.     Don't see any thing different graphically since BL2 and the performance in game is atrocious. Haven't a clue how they thought this would pass in quality tests.

    How to kill your franchise and alienate people 101: When asked if there was a chance a vertical split option would be added, the 2K representative said “there are no plans to add vertical split-screen at this time.”

    It's the same Borderlands we love!
    If you're not fan of the franchise, then you could be disappointing
    P.S.: don't understand people that hate the game only because of situation around EGS without even playing in it, it's ridiculous

    As a HC Borderlands fan this is 7 years of waiting fulfilled. Gameplay and humor is still there. So far no bugs or major fps drops on PS4Pro. I’ve proceeded too fast and now it’s too hard cause I’m fighting enemies 3-4lvl above me and getting gear that is over my lvl, but that is my own fault.
    I'm lovin' it!

    It's the same Borderlands we played and had fun with. It just got bigger and better. Yet there are some technical issues here and there (like fps drops when you scroll inventory while in the vehicle ).But it doesn't affect game    Haters gonna hate no matter what. This is reality we live in now. Just do not look at the score and buy the game if you enjoyed previous entries in the series.

    I'm playing on a PS4 Pro and it is exactly what I wanted. More and refined Borderlands, it's Excellent! Frame drops in huge battles doesn't bother me as much and hopefully we get a patch for that.

    If you are into BL2 this game does not disappoint. Everything you expect and more. The only negative is that there are some enemies one shot you and are extremely hard to best even tough you are several levels more than the quest level. But it does not matter in the big picture!, awesome game!

    I’ve have never been so amazed by a borderlands game. Everything feels so good the combat the guns the characters the story. Aside from bugs and frame rate problems this game is ever better then it’s previous titles.

    To the people saying that we are complaining because of imperfections or being on epic launcher, well, after 60 hours of play i sign on and both of my characters have been deleted. Epic launcher is the worst.. and bl deserves a bad review for forcing us to use it. BL3 as a game is fun, but to start all over just waiting for everything to get deleted again? F that.

My fiancée and I were super stoked to play this game after finishing the previous 4 together. We purchased the highest tier edition, the Diamond Loot Chest edition, with the utmost expectations for a game of this calibre. After finally launching BL3, the firstI would love to give this game a higher score, as I absolutely fell in love (and am STILL in love) with the previous BL games. My fiancée and I were super stoked to play this game after finishing the previous 4 together. We purchased the highest tier edition, the Diamond Loot Chest edition, with the utmost expectations for a game of this calibre. After finally launching BL3, the first thing I notice is how absolutely gorgeous it is. The lines are crisp and clean, the colours are vibrant, and the motion is smooth. The story is fun, the characters are just as great as they've ever been, and it honestly FEELS like a Borderlands game. It really is an amazing game.

    That being said, I've given it a 4/10 rating due to its almost unplayable state right now. When my fiancée and I started it, we expected to be able to play in vertical splitscreen, the way we had in the previous games, but there is no option to change from the starting horizontal orientation. Not only does that stretch and squash the visuals, it makes the already small HUD text impossible to read, making action prompts and mission descriptions difficult to make out.

    There is an option to change the subtitle size, why is there no option to change the HUD text size? Why is there no vertical splitscreen option, as every other BL game has included? Please, fix this. Many people have said the same things with much less or much more words. If this is fixed, with text size customisable and splitscreen vertical, this game will get a solid 10/10 from me, as it's an incredible game. Being unable to read anything is enough for me to not want to continue playing until this is fixed.    … Expand

    On the surface this game makes a really good impression until you start playing it. Horrible input delay plus frame drops make Borderlands 3 nearly unenjoyable.

They decided to remove vertical splitscreen with this option and with the horizontal option I got eye strain almost immediately and I can't read any of the text. I have to rate it a 1 as I can't play it. UPDATE: I tried single player mode.     BL3 is **** epic and it's ZERO BUGS . ZERO GLITCHES and 10 hours in. Works flawlessly, **** of new features and content, new storyline, etc. BL3 is awesome.     More guns, more planets, more skills, more… more. If you liked the previous ones, this gives you plenty of the same to enjoy. Borderlands 3 is the very definition of the bigger and better sequel. [Issue#168, p.76]

    Factor in the graphical glitches, rampant texture pop-in and generally asthmatic performance levels, even when running on a PS4 Pro with settings optimised to favour smooth running, and there really is no end of reasons not to love Borderlands 3 (and don’t even think about Googling developers Gearbox Games’ litany of employee relations history)...And yet... love it, I do. Guilty as charged.
