This could've been a 5 star game. There's a glitch that prevents you from discovering all locations, because it deleted all location data when you leave an area.. which you need for all the trophies..

They have the AUDACITY to have 2 season passes for CRAP, no new characters..

    And the story is GARBAGE...

This breaks my dam heart. This game deserved to have more love put into it.

Another great looter shooter game from Gearbox, the looting and shooting is even better this time, because many weapons have 2 switchable elements on them and this time around we can do everything solo, which is a big + for me, since I'm a single player only.

Well, text size is too small. Cannot be played without headache after 10 min. Played on stream free weekend and bought it for ps4. Regret the ps4 version. Steam version is fine so far

The gameplay is a step up from the previous games, shooting and looting is as fun as ever, the new sanctuary is a little confusing and took some time to get used to. There are a lot of bugs that need to get patched, for instance, I can't get the platinum from getting the trophy to "explore all areas" as the game hasn't registered that I have.

Well what word could describe Borderlands 3 better than disapointing. No content, Lazy writting, repetitive Story, Laggy Menue even after 10 patches. The only good thing about the game is the gungame. There is not very much to say than that

An extrem diaspointmet all the way through

    几个小时就不想玩了,敌人的动作都一样,无脑开放世界,中文配音非常傻,新手引导很差,一来就抛出来很多东西让人不知该怎么办。

The story was bad and questionable, the sniping feels off the controls feel bulky expect for sliding it is very buggy and, in my experiences borderlands 2 has barely any bugs or very in common I would recommend to just play through borderlands 2 or 1 again

It feels like Borderlands, as always, especially at combat. The music is top notch.

The wokeness is unbearable. Possibly the wokest game I've ever played. All the male characters are just losers or idiotic buffoons, when not weak cowards or brainless animals. Except for the gay ones, of course. The alphabet agenda is all over the place. They made Tina an adult just to make her non binary because reasons. Her, and the Hammerlock and Jacobs story are so forced and shoved down my throat that I can't roll my eyes more or I'll get blind. Let alone some unnecessary fetch quests which are made just to insert more agenda. I don't even want to talk about Ava, the game's Mary Sue, because I can't stand her. I want to talk about the unfunny humor, which seems to be written by a 12 year old who thinks that poo and balls are super funny. I even find disturbing the bad taste thrown into the jokes, constantly. I like gross and offensive humor, but when is so bad, so basic, and constant, it's not funny, it's amazingly cringe. The writing, as always when they focus on wokeness, and female empowerment (completely misunderstood), is atrocious. I can't empathize with any main character because I find them insufferable or at least not interesting. I even found Lillith annoying, while the rest were simply obnoxious. It's been hard to finish the game, not just because of all this wokeness, but because I got really bored of killing the same enemies over and over again. And because I couldn't care less about the bad plot and the characters. The fact that I don't even want to touch the DLCs speaks volumes. The loot system is repetitive and not satisfying. This is the worst Borderlands. I didn't like the Presequel very much, but it was still good compared to this one.

Terrible optimalization, lags and stutters. Story that could be rated 0/10 followed by tons of legendary weapons with funcionality not explained. FInally, amount of particles and effects is so high, you cant even see whats going on.

Overall, disapointment written all over my face

Borderlands 3 was my first Borderlands experience. And it made me fall in love with the franchise.

Like I said, this is my first ever mainline borderlands game (I played Tales from the Borderlands before this, but that game's more of a spinoff). I decided to try the game because I heard some good things from my friends. I picked the game up at Best Buy for 10 dollars (which in my opinion was a steal) and proceeded to pop the game into my in my PS4. I played for just 2 hours and I already fell in love with the game.

I simply loved the looter-shooter gameplay, and that it combined an FPS with RPG elements (which is the reason I enjoy the Fallout series). The sheer variety of weapons you can obtain, the tense shoot-outs, and the many abilities you can unlock, these and other parts of the gameplay make this game thrilling to play. And the online play (especially with friends) make the gameplay EVEN better. Endgame raids with my pals were so fun, I thought about cancelling my FFXIV subscription (but I will always stay loyal to the messiah Yoshi P). There are also the mayhem modes, which I didn't go too far into, but they propose a tough challenge for hardcore players to use their skills in order to get better (and sometimes unique) loot. I could go on and on about the gameplay, but I'll save you the trouble.

Now we'll move on to the most controversial part of Borderlands 3: the story. I've seen a lot of people bash the story for being predictable and boring. I think that it's... okay. It's not spectacular, and it's definitely predictable, but it's not as bad as others say it is. BUT I will definitely say that I am part of the majority of players when it comes to the villains. The Calypso twins had a lot of potential but in the end they fell short. They were uninteresting and it's one of the biggest reasons people say the story sucked. Thankfully, other characters like Rhys, Zer0, Claptrap, the Borderlands 1 crew etc. as well as the humor made the story much better than what it originally would have been. There was also Ava, who I found a little bit annoying, but I'm hoping that they make her character much better in a sequel like Borderlands 4.

So, those were my thoughts about Borderlands 3. Do I recommend this game? Hell to the yes. If you're looking for a funny, enjoyable game with amazing online multiplayer, Borderlands 3 is for you.

Honestly if the gun play and action and looting wasn't so tight and fun I would absolutely hate this game. The story here falls short not necessarily because of the narrative itself but the characters that you have to interact with. This is probably the first game I ever played where I straight up turned the dialogue slider to 0 and just read subtitles, because I just didn't want to listen to anyone anymore.
Again, the actual gameplay is as tight as its always been. Its still satisfying as ever to shoot a bunch of enemies, loot guns, toss grenades and use over the top abilities, and with the new vault hunters there are even more toys to play with.
Soundtrack is fantastic with tons of varying styles of music happening across the different settings you'll be traveling to. Side quests are also very enjoyable and retain a lot of the humour that previous games have.
Overall the game is no different than 1 and 2 aside from the main story, which is a shame because that was a part of the previous games that shined the most.

With each new content update, the game takes a jump in excitement. Searching for new items and playing through a new story is fun but the game always eventually falls flat and loses the endgame amazement previous titles have.

This Borderlands improves in gameplay from 2 in ways that weren't needed but are a nice change. The writing however falls flat on its face far to often, making the story overall not as great as the second games. If we left this to just base game it might be a 6/10 but the first four DLC raise this to an 8/10 for me.

After years of teasing this game, Borderlands 3 does disappoint in not being as good as its prequel (not The Pre-Sequel) however showcases a lot in designs and interest.

Another cool game from the Borderlands series. Sometimes there are lags and bugs, but it's not scary. In general, part 3 perfectly complements the series. It's a must to play!

I was very much looking forward to a new borderlands game when this game out and was pretty disappointed. The game still feels like it relies too much on gunplay and not enough of the character abilities that made the past games so great, with a vastly different experience playing with different builds or different characters.

Ran into a lot of bugs/glitches/crashes while platinuming this game, and the load times are absolutely horrendous (though they got drastically better once played on the PS5).

The story itself is pretty lack-luster this time around, with no real redemption in the dlcs either.

Factor in the graphical glitches, rampant texture pop-in and generally asthmatic performance levels, even when running on a PS4 Pro with settings optimised to favour smooth running, and there really is no end of reasons not to love Borderlands 3 (and don’t even think about Googling developers Gearbox Games’ litany of employee relations history)...And yet... love it, I do. Guilty as charged.
