Assassin's Creed Valhalla is basically perfect game for this dark November till January time period. There's so many different locations like snowy Norway or stunningly beautiful England. So whatever mood you want, it's in this game. I'm really liking it so far. Some bugs here and there, but nothing crazy.

After playing this about 30 hours, i can say that this one is now permanently in my top 3 Assassin's Creed games list. Nothing will change that, it's so well done.

Last time i was as happy when buying a game was Resident Evil 2 Remake and before that Red Dead Redemption 2 and before that....umm GTA 5 i guess and before that AC 4 Black Flag, so that should say something.

So long, too repetitive gameplay, has nothing to do with AC. Not completed as many games today. Don't buy it.

I have been Assassin's Creed fan over 5 years and i'm so happy this one was big success. Now i have something to play whenever i feel bored and that's exactly what i needed in this awful year when there's not much else to do anyway.

The Hidden Blade is not hidden anymore
(Figuratively and literrally) I am now 10 hrs into the game. Story is really intruiging. The combat mechanics were well polished. The openworld is more vibrant than the ones of origins and odyessey. Unfortuanetly the game is very buggy - patch 1.02.
Another thing is the fact, that stealth became less relevant. I also dislike the vikings setting. But

It's really good, idk what else to say, other than some fps issues (hopefully will be patched), i don't have much to complain about. Combat is solid, two open worlds Norway and England both are incredible. So many secret areas, story is fun so far. Very good.

Ubisoft did home run with this one. Reminds me Black Flag days, and it has this dark tone that Unity had. Graphics are amazing, parkour is finally good again.

Great gameplay, great setting and fantastic visuals. However it needs ALOT of bug fixing before you can justify the price. Combat also needs a major overhaul as it's probably the worst of the bunch from the last 3-4 AC releases. If you are a hardcore AC fan, go buy this right away, you will enjoy it. I'm so fcking tired of these asians whining about their censored versions, instead of talking about ACTUAL game. Anyone, absolutely anyone who gives this game 0 score, GO F_CK YOURSELF. Nobody wants to read your endless BS about "they censored my asian version blah blah blah". Leave or talk about the actual game!

Another amazing new product from the Assassin series that will take a lot of time to play. A good combination of ships from different cities and the story, including a lot of other missions. I've been stuck for 50 hours but I'm still a long way off.

Well, first of, I had my first major bug early on the game, where I wasnt able to complete a story mission because the quest wouldnt trigger. Found out i was because of the day one patch (1.02) - this had me deleting the entire game and reinstalling. - hopefully this will be fixed so new players wont have to go through the same.

As for the game it self, is nice to look at, beautiful

As for the game it self, is nice to look at, beautiful settings, but it just feels unfinished, so many little glitches making the game feel "robotic" and not smooth - i feel like its too easy to make wrong jumps during free run and overall the freerunning just dont feel that smooth, but this is not exclusive to Valhalla Ive felt this way for almost every Assassin's creed game.

In short, AC-Valhalla is the worst AC so far. A disgustingly repetitive grind game, with the stupid and embarrassing sidequests the series has ever seen.

Ubisoft's games are just graphic blenders and pointless occupational therapy that can only be bypassed for an extra charge.

This shows Ubisoft's philosophy. Ubisoft bullies single players with pointless and ridiculous tasks to force them to spend money to skip this crappy time-wasting grind.

The presentation may be ready for a film, but AC Vahalla is a pure waste of time in terms of play. Like every Ubisoft game in recent years.

The Metascore also proves once again how uncritical the "professional" media are and vote highly for every AAA game. Together with the army of (10er) fake reviews, who deliberately conceal all undesirable developments and the whole pointless time-consuming grind gameplay, it is clear that the voting is being manipulated here.

I'm done with Ubisoft after this disaster. Three disappointments in a row are enough. I love the Viking setting, but Ubisoft is destroying the entire gaming experience with the repetitive gameplay. After a few hours you realize that you are always doing the same thing. The mass battles, for example, always follow the same pattern. At some point you just run through ...

AC is dead. Buried by senseless open world gigantism, miserable quest design and completely repetitive gameplay.

    - 1 point for really well done scenery and visual aspect.
    - 1 point for characters looking decent in detail and use that pretty lightly.
Now for the rest: -You LITERALLY have to adjust 85% of the game settings because of how complicated the game setup is. I had to turn so much irrelevant stuff off that was ruining the game for me. -Audio is god awful, at times I felt like voice actors

i feel like ubisoft should promote youtube and other forms of game walkthroughs if this is what they are aiming for. story is existing and interesting but, you get easily side tracked and forgetful of it. combat is weak and clunky, with an overly difficult parry system and very easy AI. you find yourself venturing to level up just to get back to the story. same thing they did in origins.i feel like ubisoft should promote youtube and other forms of game walkthroughs if this is what they are aiming for. story is existing and interesting but, you get easily side tracked and forgetful of it. combat is weak and clunky, with an overly difficult parry system and very easy AI. you find yourself venturing to level up just to get back to the story. same thing they did in origins. honestly takes alot of fun away. There are far fewer cookie-cutter outposts than in previous AC’s, and most sidequests now offer an interesting story, sometimes even with a less-than-obvious solution. While some anti-grind measures have backfired, Ubisoft is on the right track. [Issue#250, page 56]

Assassins Creed Valhalla is a wonderful addition to the AC franchise. It manages to avoid the tropes that became overplayed and focuses on a small well structured story. The fighting mechanics are enjoyable and offer many choices to fit different playing styles. There are a significant amount of bugs and the AI is underwhelming at times. But it's still another step in the right direction for Ubisoft.
