    This game is epic i enjoyed playing the single player and enjoyed the missions i played. It turly felt like i was in a real war with all the destruction happing around me. Frost bite 2 engine was amazing with the explosions, building effects, and earth quake. In the missions were blackburn was on his own felt intense and gave you a sense of a need to survive. Also the multiplayer is amazing with its huge maps and vehicles, weapon unlocks, gameplay. Each map in the multiplayer is unique and fun to play on. The maps give you a chance to think stratigically, flanking your enemy, how to be effective when using the vehicles available to you. Whats new is the team deathmatch its intense and fun to play against the other team. The team deathmatch this new match type gives you a better chance to unlock new stuff for your class kit, leveling up.     This my first battlefield game.the game play is amazing. it's fantastic. it's real war ,great and epic multiplayer game.I have not been able to stop playing since getting it. .Get it and love it.

    This is a beautiful game. I honestly have not taken the time to get into the multiplayer like I did with BF:BC2, but what I have played has been enjoyable and breathtaking. DICE and EA know how to make some great games. My son liked to play this game, especially for the vehicles. Once I get some more free time, I cannot wait to get back into the multiplayer and level up the classes.This is a beautiful game. The maps are massive and fun to play, but I must confess that it does allow for some more sniping abilities, and sometimes the colors of the game make it hard to see enemies clearly.     You bring the friends, battlefield brings the moments. willy was always fly so battlefield gave him wings, wayne likes bling so he brought a flashlight.     BF like you never seen before. It has improved in many ways. The PS3 version might have only 24 players online, but the action is non stop!! New engine, new system, TOTAL destruction, what else do you want? And battlelog is free for everyone :)

    Best fps on the market by a mile. If you did't read the hype thus think bf3 will change the world you realize how great the game is. Compared to mw3 it blows it away! Only if my friends switched from cod I would play this game more... maybe in the future hopefully

    I'm very happy with this game, The frostbite 2 system made my day, I salute EA and DICE's work for this succesful game, the game focuses in a real battle as the users want to see and play and they made it incredibly awesome. Is "A must buy game"

    A shooting game that depends on teamwork? The only gripe i have is the classes were dumbed down from battlefield 2 (not bad company 2). This game is great and has everything in it I want from a shooter (minus a decent sniper rifle)

    This game is amazing! The realism and action sucks me in to the Battlefield. I recommend for gamers who love team strategy,vehicle warfare and just fun. Don't like it? Buy that crappy old COD game!

    This game is the FPS of the year. Why? It isnt recycled its completely new DICE put alot of work in it . The SP may not be the best but the Multiplayer comes up for that. Fast paced action , awesome graphics and sounds just makes it feel awesome. I can't get enough of this game. Ridicilous that MW2.5 has a higher score than this masterpiece.     The best Multiplayer game I've ever played. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is better than Modern Warfare 3 (Money Wasted 3 times, which I did only two times), yes BF2. Battlefield 3.. All CoD fans says these two games are different, BF3 and MW3, you can't compare. Hmm.. Totally different. BF3 is like perfect steel, MW 3 is like cheap Chinese plastic. Simple.

    Battlefield 3 respresents a series which has been the only real choice if you want variety & scale in your fps games. It introduces new features & animations with a lighting system that just blows you away. This is as good as a game game can look on 6 years old machines no doubt at all. My uncle was in the Military and he said Battlefield war as close as war is in iraq and afganistan. My uncle and I love this game.     Absolutely amazing game! The sound is amazing and the guns sound so real! The campaign is not amazing but it's better than Cod! The multiplayer is amazing and unique.

    Overall great game, although this DOES HAVE A LEARNING CURVE! No other game has maps as large and dynamic as this game and actually enforces teamwork. I love this game, it's a must have for anyone who is a fan of war, FPS and action titles.

    BF3 rocks! It is great to have the large maps and vehicle choices, and most of all something to do besides just kills. I have played BF and BC games since the 1st, same with COD but COD gets very boring with limited space and the non-stop barrage of killstreaks going off left and right. I have always enjoyed BF games (and the variations) the most.

    Amazing! Graphics alone are stunning. Amazing online and gameplay. Campaign story line is a little difficult to follow and more like CoD, but fantastic game!

    Online play is fluid, realistic, and just fast paced enough to keep your attention without making you have seizures. The graphics are amazing for a console game, on par with some of the best high-end PC graphic card required games. Personas don't look like cartoons anymore. The leveling system is a huge leap forward from the Bad Company 2. Highly recommend this one.

    This game is epic... I have bf3 and mw3 and I cant stop playing bf3... the graphics alone sink me into the game... But the gameplay driving vehicles and the destruction and the realism... so amazing THANK U EA!!! made one hell of a game. Now on to skyrim tonight :)

    There is no doubt this year. I have always been a hardcore call of duty fan, but after playing battlefield 3, I was blown away. The multiplayer will keep you going for months, if not years and is worth the 60$ alone.. If not more.

    great game in multiplayer, I'm glad i pre-ordered the game because now i get the DLC for free. its easy to play with your friends since there multiple ways to join there session, choppers check, tanks check, coke on the side check.

    This game is simply amazing. I've been playing DICE games since Bad Company 1 and I'm very happy with the multiplayer on Battlefield 3. This is what the game is about. Not the rest of it. Would have been nice to have dinosaurs or zombies though. Just for fun. Seperate like nazi zombies. That is great on black ops.

    the story is awesome the game play is smooth and the graphics are so real that you feel like your in the game what more can you ask for vehicles,tons of weapons and upgrades this is as close as your going to get to being in the war haha thank you bf3 developers

    Multiplayer actually requires skill which is a nice change from the chaos of MW3. Also, unlike the MW3 servers, when I play Battlefield 3 I don't spend the whole time getting sworn at by some pre-pubescent kid from Cleveland.

And they didn't stoop to using silly gimmicks like a little radio controlled car chasing you around the map and then blowing up or care packages falling from the sky or incoming nukes.     Le jeu est trop bien un truc de ouf surtout le multi et la coop (parsque le solo c'est pour donner un avant gout) mais sinon les 4 classes et les armes sont trop top les graphismes sont les 2eme meilleur du jv apres uncharted mais c'est de la bombe ce jeu un truc de ouf.

The single player is solid but I've only played it when my internet has been down, there's simply no incentive to complete it when the multiplayer is so good. I was a COD gamer and bought MW3, what a trash game, so I went out and bought Battlefield 3 and boy I wish I always played Battlefield over COD.     It's awesome. i was a call of duty diehard fan, and this was so refreshing. the multiplayer gives so much freedom and is very fun!!!!!!! I won't go into any details, but get this game instead of mw3 like my friend did! it is the same as mw2, or more like mw2.5. just an expensive map pack.

Graphically, the best part of the game was the lighting effects. The lights are incredible. Other than that, EA/Dice did not really update anything. I have been deceived by screen shots.     A near perfect shooter. I like to put it this way: The Call of Duty games are great, awesome, fantastic fun, and Battlefield 3 is FAR SUPERIOR!! A few minor glitches and limitations prevent this game from being perfect. Newer players beware there is a serious learning curve here and it takes awhile to unlock most of the best items/equipment/attachments. 9.5/10

    I never thought that a shooter exceed the MW, but Battlefield 3 has been filled and exceeded my expectations in every way, without dimensions scenes that make you feel in the game.
    The online and co-operatives are well made and small wars carried out in Rush mode are great.

The only things I wished were different is that there needs to be a few more players per team. Especially for objective based games. Also up the score limit so games don't go so quick on deathmatch.     I can't understand why this has such a low score.. Shooter of the year by far, 100% better than Call of Duty in every way. Story isn't great, but Call of Duty's isn't either.

    it's a great game with excellent multiplayer. the solo is very good and the COOP mode as well but unfortunately too short I recommend this game 100% (sorry I don't speak english verry well )

    but enough about the campaign the multiplayer is what battlefield does best its fun its tactical and its teambased. this is a game where you have nice graphics in both the campaign and multiplayer. the frostbite 2 engine does what is does best which makes the game sparkle. this is a game that is worth picking up if your a battlefield fan.

    Simply excellent. Well polished and well developed! The campaign is teasingly short (but then again, these games are built for the multiplayer now, and the campaign is developed as a trainer) but the graphics, sound and charater movement are flawless and set a great standard in the FPS realm. Cheers to EA for delivering to the fans!

    Brilliant game, bought it day 1 and enjoying it since, so glad that the Bad Company aspect is gone from the franchise because it made the campaign in BFBC1 and BFBC2 seem too immature. Exciting campaign and an even better multiplayer with modes such as Conquest and Rush as well as Squad Deathmatch for those who want to have a CoD multiplayer experience.

    I absolutely love this game, If you sat at home and got tired of playing Call of duty for a while and wanted to pick a new game up this is definitely for you. All out warfare actual tactics apply, Honestly one of the most realistic military games i have played, down to the point where even comm goes bad with your squad!

    This game is amazing. I enjoyed the singleplayer. But the multiplayer is what you really buy the game for. The guys at DICE know how to innovate the series unlike Cod with its copy and paste formula. These guys actually achieved a war simulator. Multiplayer is fun, people are cooperative, and none of that homophobic, child screaming you'll find in COD.

    I was really worried when I played the BETA but after playing the online for a long period of time I felt stupid that I was worried. This game does so much right, when you unlock stuff it appears in the middle of the screen you really feel like your constantly being rewarded. You get 100 points for completing a multiplayer game, 200 for winning, 50 for suppresion, 50 for giving ammo, 100I was really worried when I played the BETA but after playing the online for a long period of time I felt stupid that I was worried.     The last shooter I played was black ops, I accidentally fell upon battlefield 3 beta and I was in awe. I decided to buy bf3 and I have never played or seen a shooter so imense and fun. Some people may not like as it's realistic with shooting and you can't just run in solo and take on 100 people. Well not all the time. But I love it, best shooter ever.

Now back to battlefield 3, i'll start with a list of innovations in gameplay and graphics.... The destruction system, while flawed and not red faction, its still really immersive and realistic. Terrain deformation, bit of wall flying off wen trying to hide.... its insane who good it looks. I mean I see a bunch of enemies hold up in one area, fire a rocket above them and the building falls and kills them all. Like wow! It brings new levels of realism and immersion to the experience. The animation system they built is incredible, characters die, move, shoot, you name it, they do it so realistic its makes you stop a marvel at the true innovation they've incorporated here. Vehicles looks amazing, firing a tank in a wooded area and all the trees bend to the shockwave of the force from the cannon.... WHAT GAME DOES THIS! So amazing to watch. Small little innovations to gameplay also to balance the experience are implemented like flashlight blindings, laser sights so blind snipers out of their camping poistion, not to mention the lense flare if the sniper point in scope at you specifically. All these little things help push the genre forward. The sound in this game is unrivaled by ANY game. Just amazing, I feel like I'm in a real battlefield from start to finish of a map and it truly shows what can be done these days. This is the game you show to non-gamers to show them how far games have come and how much room for improvement a lot of games need to make to even come close to competitive with this great title. You can tell they put so much time and effort into a truly deep, immersive and NEW experience than its previous iterations. New engine = yes imo. DICE you've done it again 10/1… Expand

    I really love thus game. It is by far my favorite FPS of all time. The online play is amazingly fun when you have friends who work together with you to play the objective and just have a blast messing around in tanks and choppers. Great game, and will only get better as time goes on.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have to give this game a 10 out of 10, it surpassed my expectations. After hearing the large number of complaints that the campaign was exactly like Call of Duty, but I was surprised to play it and it being nothing like the Modern Warfare games. Where Modern Warfare was based around the US and Russia fighting each other. Battlefield 3 campaign is specifically about fighting a terrorist organisation. Where the only fight against Russians was not open warfare, but Russia trying to take the same target as the US. This being said the excellent graphics and sound complemented it nicely with the Destruction being fun. I was a bit disapointed that the destruction wasn't amped up more and sometimes on some Multiplayer maps, there was less destruction on buildings than the same type of building in others. But this being said, I had allot of fun blowing up buildings.

    Now the Multiplayer, the maps are fun, unlocks excellent the vehicle warfare excellent, just everything A++. I like the jets and helicopters, I'm just a little disappointed that when your flying the transport helicopter the most points you can get is, 10 per gunner getting a kill and that the scout helicopter's machine gun is a little under-powered.

    Overall I have to give it a 10 out of 10 because it's faults are far outweighs by it's positives.

    great graphics, love the freedom factor that you have whether you want to be a sniper or hop in a tank with some friends and just destroy kids, also EA also listens to people and works with the community on fixing certain things.

    This game is really good, the graphics are elite for a console. The destruction is so fun to watch, all you'll want to do is blow stuff up. TDM i think is really good, the spwans need some fixing but its not that bad. Overall this is a game to get if you like FPS

    Very good game. Everything a sequel to Bad Company 2 should have. Love the introduction of Jets into the game... This has the potential for a long lasting game as long as EA don't start ripping people off for DLC like on Call of Duty.. Back to Karkand DLC looks outstanding as well.. For Free :D

    Anyway, two days ago, i get my copy of BF3. i fire it up and it throws me into Rush on Caspian Border. As soon as i spawn i'm looking at a tank standing on the asphalt. Immediately there's a loud boom; the tank recoils and kicks up dust. A second later i hear another muffled explosion as the shell hits. i'm already thinking WOW, when a chopper buzzes overhead, machine guns spitting fire. There's a shout over the radio about an enemy fast mover, but i'm too preoccupied with the audio visual assault to catch it. A second later a jet buzzes low, chasing after the chopper. Its now that I start running for cover. DICE has thrown me straight in to a war zone. Welcome to Battlefield.
    I have seen very few sights since i started gaming in the early 90s that made me just sit in awe. This was one of them. And many more followed. I've only played the multiplayer so far, so i cant comment on the campaign. i dont play FPS games for campaigns any more, although i did till MW2. i even played the MW3 campaign, but it didnt have that spark anymore. I'd already seen the washington monument destroyed. Manhattan was just more of the same. And the story was flat out cliched. I dont dislike COD. i've spent many enjoyable months on it, prestiged etc. I even played MW3 multiplayer. But it was almost more of the same. Enjoyable, yes. Amazing, no. Now i'm not especially good at online multiplayer. just average. But a day later, im still enjoying every minute of BF3. i cant wait to get back in the game. And not only because of the visuals. BF3 makes you feel like you're contributing with more than just kills. Spotting, repairing, healing; that's you being part of the team. And you get rewarded for it. IW is good at giving you small, frantic and personal gun fights, DICE is great at making you part of a team. MOH made me feel like part of a squad waging a small tactical battle. But that was just an appetizer for Battlefield 3. This, this is war.    … Expand

It is a exceptional game that I enjoy playing on a daily basis. While Battlefield franchise isn't known for their in-depth story lines, I really enjoyed this one. However the multi-player is always the selling point for me on the BF franchise and I was not disappointed. The way you rank up your player, vehicle, and weapons is well done. The amount of free-range you get per level is something I personally love! I can be tactical in this game with my squad or I can go Lone Wolf once in a while. BF 3 gives you the ability to really diversify your game play and allow you to be influential in the outcome of a match. My hat is off to you EA another fine job!     Congratilations To DICE and Electronic Arts. this game just rock my world on Multiplayer, and now with 'Back To Karkand' pack, we got a lot of maps, lots of veicules, jets, tanks, jeeps and big maps where snipers can do they magic (if they are good) Great Game. On Campaing the story could have a better end, i liked, but it could be better,

    This is a great game I'm sick of all the people shooting it down because they're cod fan boys. Sure the single player may not be the best but that's not what the game was made for it was made for the multiplayer and it's so amazing Most of the time you feel like you're on a real battlefield with all the genuine sounds and graphics.     Everything about this game is better than MW3. The only people who rate this gem of a game poorly are morons who like MW's buggy spawn system and it's dumb killstreaks.
    Sure the campaign isn't what people expect, but the multiplayer blows MW's multiplayer out of the water.

    Stunning... Graphics simply gorgeous... sound amazing... the bad side... is the respawn in the Team Deathmach... and de green frame in the game some times appears and this annoying a little bit...

    this game is the best ever. the multiplayer is the best in any fps ever made and campain and co-op just make it better. way better than bfbc2 and a little better than mw3

    I thought that this game is going to be garbage, but when i played it, it was amazing. It focuses alot more realism and the graphics are amazing. BTW Screw all these people who hates this game.

    Damn you, guys for making such an awesome game! I can't stop playing it and I never get tired of the ground-shaking explosions everywhere. I feel like I'm in a movie every time I play this, it's so amazing!

    WOW what a different with MW3 it looks like DICE build a new engine and polished the gameplay (oh they really did it what you cant say about MW3)
    this is the best shooter since euh... the BF3 beta!

    Every one of those cod fanboys can say how it has bad controls but they never played the game they say the graphics arent that great they are possibly blind. thsi is a far superior game to mw3 in every aspect graphics realism diversity and gun balance and this game actually has vehicles. buy this game its awsome.

    the campaign is 'not so good' , but this isn't made to be played alone , it's a multiplayer paradise with great guns , great sound , great visuals and whole lot of stuff to blow . and all this plus accurate realism . there is nothing like a perfect head-shot or a perfect dog fight achieved . and even after all those 'good parts' , there is great one , and that's the amount of tactics youthe campaign is 'not so good' , but this isn't made to be played alone , it's a multiplayer paradise with great guns , great sound , great visuals and whole lot of stuff to blow . and all this plus accurate realism . there is nothing like a perfect head-shot or a perfect dog fight achieved . and even after all those 'good parts' , there is great one , and that's the amount of tactics you have to use , you need to think , plot , communicate and be accurate… Expand
