    It's a giant fail of a troll.

The game is good, they have added plenty to enjoy, and the prospect that Blizzard has learned what the player base wants is surely something to hope for. Initial impression is a 9 of 10, just based upon the foundation. It's getting a 10 to offset some of these fake low ratings.

Atrocious design formula that hasnt changed since WoD, also happens to be the expansion the game went to complete garbage. I could deal with Cata and Mists, hell, I enjoyed them, but the new design philosophy is just not it. It was boring in WoD and its boring today. At no point has it ever felt good. Ill go over a few of the problems.

Worst, most bland itemization in WoW history prioritizing ILVL over anything meaningful - Check

Class design that exists simply in Tank/Healer/DPS and each architype being a clone of the other. DPS = Filler Spender. Tanks = 2 Charge Reactive, 20% and 50% reduction CD. Boring, bland, and probably designed by 1 person. Cheap and boring in order to create "balance" by severe homogenization - Check

A progression system going nowhere. No longer to you beat Deadmines and move on to SFK. No longer do you gear up to get into the next big raid. No longer is their actual progression. Instead what you find here is a hamster wheel design of reserving dungeons/raids to you nigh infinitely for ILVL rewards. At no point are you ever going anywhere, at no point are you ever growing. You are simply doing it for ILVL for minor DPS increases, that is redundant as each difficulty is increase HP levels of mobs. You are effectively on a hamster wheel, going nowhere, achieving nothing and the only people this benefits are the devs who can shovel out infinitely rehashed content. Bland, awful design > Check

So thats it. Progression sucks, classes suck, itemization isnt even trying. They have 1 stat called ILVL in reality. The leveling is redundant and over in a day or two. Theres nothing here worth doing. GGWP fire the whole team and lets start over.

One of the best WoW expansions ever. Just a few things: amazingly beautiful and atmospheric zones, unsurpassed pvp gear system, amazing dungeons and the new evoker class is also groundbreaking. No ability to farm M0 dungeons to actually do something in game.
Renown Rep Time gate farming that is hardly worth doing.
Professions which is in the right direction is time gated by scarce knowledge farm and a broken Work Order system that hardly anyone uses on public board tab.

The Developers said they do not want to restrict you but so far there is stranglehold on you. However the only good thing about this expansion so far is the talent system does add a bit RPG to your character again outside of that it is a lobby game with no substance and some of you would argue well its the foundation for the “third era” but that era should of started after legion.

This is my take on expansion do intend to do m+ and raiding when it’s out that will soak some time but for me personally I can’t justify the £39.99 base game cost should of been £29.99 my opinion.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Alexstraza is the new Sylvanas.

There is nothing new in this expansion:
GW2 flying cloned as a selling new feature.
Worgen skeleton cloned into an ugly mesh as a "new race".
Talents made into a tree to give an illusion of choice, in reality most items are forced. Those few you are "free" to choose will be defined by the scenario (st / aoe )
Same covenant abilities put into the talent trees. The rotation for some classes is almost identical to SL rotation.

    Hypocrisy at it's best:
Trans npcs, gay couples, matriarchy... Blizzard tries so hard on inclusiveness, to whitewash their name. Yet the game is still based on a racial conflict, key characters in game are racists. You can't choose your faction, your appearance will identify which alliance you join.

    Uninteresting lore:
Sylvanas was a key character in last 3 expansions, a strong independent woman surrounded by weak men. She ended up burning the World Tree with no one capable of stopping her, no one capable of bringing her to justice. Even the Lich King was unable to do anything against this strong woman. She defeated him easily and destroyed the Ice Crown Citadel.
Now Alexstraza is taking her place. Surrounded by weak male characters she's the most powerful dragon around. She's already replaced Sylvanas on the game banner. It's almost certain that she'll keep growing her power, no one will be able to counter her. So get used to seeing her for next two expansions and wait for cataclysms.

    Conclusion:
Stay away from WoW, check back on next expansion launch.

The new zones are incredibly beautiful and vast, with an amazing soundtrack. Both of these are reminiscent of WotLK which is very nostalgic. You can fly immediately at the start of the expansion, and once you finish the campaign once you never have to do it again on your alts and can get straight to doing what you want.

The narrative is so superior to anything else I've experienced in WoW, they really stepped it up this expansion to make you care about the characters and their situations more, which feels great.

Dragonriding is enjoyable and the races are genuinely fun when I didn't expect them to be at all.

Dragonflight definitely does not deserve the bombardment of low reviews that it's getting and it's a real shame that there are so many close-minded people out there who aren't gonna give this incredible expansion a chance because it has SOME gay MINOR NPCs.

Dragonflight is not a 0, there are some nice things in this expansion, however, it is also definitely not a 10.
Those, who claim this game would be flawless are lying straight in your face and want to push a better score for a very mediocre and way too expensive game, that took a lot of losses due to the horrible decisions of the devs over the last couple of years.
However those, who only complain about the amount of lgbtq+, that was put in to the game aren't really a good source of criticism about the game itself either.

With that out of the way, personally I would give Dragonflight a 5 out of 10 at best and here is why:

The new zone is really beautiful, like all new zones and even though most of the npcs and nature elements you see there are only reskins of old models, it still looks great.

The music is also very nice.

Less grinding and chores than usual.

The talent trees from vanilla are back.

No more ridiculous and brain afk faction war stories so far.

    Cons:

    Graphic:
Yes, the new zone looks nice... however the rest of the world really doesn't. It's been almost 2 decades, yet despite of all the money for the montly sub costst, the additional store and the costs or each new expansion we have to pay, there ist no overhaul regarding older zones.
Azeroth looks broken and like a very dirty patchwork rug with graphics, that hasn't be upgraded for over a decade.
I saw someone mentioning Stormwind and yes, that is probably the best example. It contains trees, buildings, statues, a sunny skybox, ships, some animal npcs and those poor, poor lion heads, that are still using the same graphic they had since the beginning.
I had to laugh as I've read how someone described that 5 lion head or so had been updated, while the rest was just left there with their old graphics.
It becomes clear very fast, that the devs are not putting the work in to the game, that they should.
Same goes for the character models and customisation options, which just don't give you what you would expect for a game in 2022, especially for such a high price.
    Really disappointing.

    Factions and racial segregation:
I'd also like to agree on the criticism regarding the racist faction system in wow.
As much as I like it to have 2 opposing factions in this game, the way they are handled is beyond toxic and resulted in a very serious faction imbalance. Instead of fixing the problem however, the devs made the problem worse by various acts of favoritsm.
Someone mentioned the destruction of various Alliance zones, aswell as putting all the mainstream races in Horde and even though I main Horde... because otherwise you don't get anything done anymore due to the lack of players on the Alliance side, I fully agree on that statement.
Unfortunately the devs made the situation worse again with Dragonflights by giving the Horde access to the female human model, which leaves absolutely no reason to play Alliance.
All mainstream races – blood elves, updated night elves in nightborne, Vulpera and now humans are found in the Horde.
And here of couse lies one of the biggest problems of the entire game. Racism is one of the main reasons, why there is a faction imbalance in the first place.
The race you want to play decides what faction you are allowed to join. It is a very archaic and toxic mentality, that should have been gone years ago, but here we are.
And I can see why people think of the lgbtq+ content as being hypocritical with all the racism going on in this game.
In order to bring balance back and just in general in order to get rid of such toxicity, racial segregation has to go. Every race should be allowed to be part of both factions.
Additionally of course the devs have to let us play with the other faction asap, at least make it optional.

    The Evoker:
Unfortunately this is not a new race, but by definition in wow only an allied race.
What we have here is nothing but a female Worgen reskin. A female human and a male blood elf model for visage and that's it. Don't treat it as a new race, it really isn't.
Their story is not innovative. It plays very similar to the story of demon hunters, which resulted in a rather boring experience.
They can only be one class, which makes them also rather unappealing.

The lore: So far they are ignoring all the big mistakes they made during bfa and shadowlands. Warfronts keep being warfronts despite the war being over and in general are older zones all in different time zones, which makes the world... again... look like a patchwork rug, not only because of the graphics, but also because of the lore. Conclusion: There is some nice content you can do with this expansion, however I can't recommend it due to all it's flaws and the expensive price.

The user reviews for this addons are a joke. Looks like a bunch of 10y/o rated the addon just by watching their favorite „edgy“ Youtuber instead of actually playing the game. 90% of the reviews just rate the gender or looks of the new race, blizzard as a company or the whole game instead of the addon while disregarding the fact that it’s almost 20 years old.

I for a change REALLY enjoy Dragonflight. The new content feels so well crafted, quest have great writing, the dragon isles look superb and dragon riding is the best thing that ever happened to wow. Guess what? I still like dragon riding even if another game did that before. The new class feels very agile, what I like, playing as a hunter since release. The skills look really cool and feel powerful. It is not my favorite class though, it’s a bit too easy to play for my taste. But I guess blizzard aimed for the people coming back after years and for those, the class is perfect.

The game probably deserves a 8/10, but due to the absolutely rediculous reviews I read here I had to bump it up to 10 to combat those.

I played WoW on and off again since Wrath of the Lich King in 2008, then a teenager, now a parent with kids and much more limited time. As such, I did hate the daily chores of Legion, BfA and Shadowlands. If you missed a day there, let alone a whole

If you missed a day there, let alone a whole week, you could aswell quit the game because you fell behind in the endless power grind. (At least thats how it felt)

Dragonflight now is the exact opposite. You can log in 30 minutes or an hour a day to just do what you want. There is no endless rush to meet expectations. Everything can be done at your own pace. For the aging and returning playerbase this is the most welcome change the game could have done. The returning skill trees, dragonriding, the new continent, artwork, etc. are the cherry on top that makes this expansion (so far) extremely enjoyable and worth every penny.
For everyone like me, who feels the slight itch to try it out, I can fully recommend it.

Blizzard should be really ashamend of themselves.
They sell us a reused model of female Worgen as brand new race. Their visage form is just female human and male blood elf with rainbow hair and skin. On top of that this race can only be one class and their lore is basically demon hunters 2.0. 0 creativity.
For some reason they still use age old graphics in many zones with no updates.

Take Stormwind for example. At some point a dev must have started to update the lion heads, but instead of updating all of them that person just updated a handful and left the rest with their early 2000s graphic. This is pure laziness.
And do yourself a favor, don't look at the trees, the statues, the buildings, the sky... unless it's raining, npcs like wolves or some of the humanoid races you can play. Outdated graphics everywhere.

I also agree with others. Being pro lgbtq+, but also pro racism is just... really awkward. I have no idea why Blizzard is still keeping racial segregation in the game. Could be a very shady mindset of the devs or pure laziness.. or both.

Either way, another trash expansion so far. One can only hope, that they start using all that money they take from players and invest in actual new features in the next patch, like free faction choice without racism and player housing for example.

Wanna make a dwarf and play Horde? NO!
Wanna make a Tauren and play Alliance? NO!

So yeah, Blizzard wants to keep racism and at the same time wants you to think of them as being progressive. it's actually really funny how dumb that is.

I’m as cynical as they come about the hyper capitalist state of modern gaming, but it really does look like Blizzard has made a philosophical change on their WoW team, even if my cynicism still wonders if this is all from desperation. Either way the result is a game where you fight the enemies, and it never feels like the game is fighting you. It’s such a whiplash from the experience of the last 3 expansions, it’s hard to explain just how different it is, or decide where to start that explanation. The most obvious point is the end of the borrowed power era of WoW, so I’ll take that first. Gone are the days of nuggets of player power locked behind artificial time delays and content droughts, and instead what we get is a giant 15-way intersection that does more than ever to represent the vast and varied types of players that still play.

When I returned to Azeroth after a year plus break in 8.2.5 Rise of Azshara, I met someone who informed me of my task list I needed to complete just to have a “raid-ready” character, and boy it was a doozy. A steady diet of weekly mythic dungeons could get you Azerite armor, but unless it was the specific ones you needed you’d be weaker. The best essences required daily quest grinds, leveling up a follower in Nazjatar, and a number of reputation grinds. Then there was the Benthic gear, which gave you raid specific bonuses, and that’s all before you needed the azerite power to level up your heart of Azeroth enough to use all this. This was the norm for active players, but for me it was a completely reasonable thought for a returning player to think “this is more like Call of Duty than WoW”.

So many games today require you to do a myriad of tasks that engage you with game system5 It’s as though this new “optional” state of content has allowed the WoW team to make it much more varied and interesting. The professions feel like an entire occupation within the game, which has maybe never been the case in WoW compared to other MMOs. The dragonriding system helps you get to all of it with a brisk wind in your hair and a feeling of adventure, rather than the dread in your gut that flying from point to point is just a slowdown on your way to your next nugget of artifact power. The treasures and secrets are there to be appreciated, not just to give you more of a resource. I find myself once again falling in love with the World of Warcraft memories of my youth, but this time it actually feels touched with a modern polish that’s been badly missing, and a new story that has me salivating for the next events.

I’m not sure the other players of the last few years will find it satisfying. It could be that many of them don’t like World of Warcraft, and instead they like the competitive edge of the game and none of the “world”. Big damage numbers and looking cool while putting them up is a big motivation for me, but for some it’s the entire game. Those players may find themselves struggling to fill their newfound “free time”. There’s not much to do in terms of getting your character stronger, so unless that type of player decides to play more than one character now, they may just log off after they have had their fill of dungeons and raids, because they don’t enjoy the rest of the game. Is that bad? Is it still worth 15 bucks a month? I can’t decide that for them. If that kind of player asks me “so what do we do now”, I will simply have to give them the classic Eric Cartman line “what do you mean, now we finally get to play the game”.

Still racism all over the place.
Playable races are still stricly seperated, meaning you have to look a certain way, to be in one of the 2 playable factions. I don't want to compare it to real life events, but the whole racial segregation concept in wow... yikes.

The lore is very bad and just ignores old lore, instead of fixing all the mistakes of the last two expansions.

We still can't play with the other faction, stuff like guilds, lfr, lfd etc. Meaning the devs just keep on ignoring the obvious faction imbalance, which they costs.

The most controversial aspect of wow is probably the fact, that the whole game is build on racism. You log in and first thing you have to do is choose a faction. A normal game in this day and age would make you choose a faction based on it's lore, it's values, maybe because of it's cities. Not wow though. It forces you to

    Not wow though.
It forces you to pick a side soley based on... yes, on race.

Makes you wonder in what century the devs are liviing with this kind of mindset.
So yes, except for Pandaren and Evoker all races apparently have a hivemind mentality and can't join a faction freely.
Making racial segregation the biggest limitation for players is not just in general very questionable, it is also extremely annoying for players, who just want to play their favorite faction with their favorite races.
Together with cross faction gameplay we could finally play where we want, what we want and with whom we want.
But nope. Can't have that with Blizzard.

So instead of removing racial segregation after almost two decades, they are trying very hard to make us believe, that they are progressive due to all the lgbtq content and the removal of genders.

I have news for you. You can't be progressive, while at the same time treating racism as something necessary for the game.
Kinda disgusting the more you think about it.

Next up is the pure laziness when it comes to the virtual world of Azeroth, which has some newer visuals, which look nice, I give you that, but most of it's zones haven't been updated for over 15 years and that shows.
Same goes for the very few options when it comes to character customisations and player models in general.
It also shows in the new race, which is just a female worgen reskin.

Can't recommend this game at all.

The story and world are perhaps the most disappointing. The visuals may be fine but everything from the quests to the npcs are inconsistent with the azeroth many of us play for. A lot of these lorebreaking additions are degenerative to the story as a whole and clearly done to appeal the current political sensibilities of the internet era. This began with the previous expansion, Shadowlads, but has only grown in number to the point that even ordinary apolitical people begin to see the hidden agenda. In addition the developers do not know or care to know the game's own lore.

I want to like this game for the world has been a source of great joy since my childhood but with how the new developers appear to hate and tear down all that made this game and story so beloved i can only recommend not to play it.

This expansion actively makes the game worse than if it had never existed. At least Shadowlands had limits on how much lore it could defile.

That is definitely not a new race and shouldn't be treated as one.

The new zone looks nice and I can give some points for that, but what is up with all the other zones in that game? You would think with such age old graphics, that you are still stuck in 2004. Very, very bad looking.

Unfortunately they didn't update the playable races, which means that races like night elves for example are still stuck with a very ugly looking model and what is it with these devs, that males always look like they are on stereoids and cranky old man? In general male... or now "body 1" humanoids look like clunky gorillas. They really aged very poorly.

Dragon riding... yeah well, others already criticized that. At least give credit, if you have to copy other people's homework, Blizzard.

I also noticed all the lgbtq pandering. I mean, fine, if you have to. But how about you remove the obvious toxic aspect in your game?

The graphic is outdated, like really outdated. They didn't update it since 2004 in many zones and even main hubs and some people praise wow with a straight 10? Like... What? The customisation options are hilariously outdated aswell and very limited. Not only that. For some reason some races receive more

Speaking of toxic, we are still not allowed to play with eachother, despite this being a mmo. Due to the racial segregation aspect, that doesn't allow players to pick their favorite faction with their favorite races, there is a huge faction imbalance, which the devs made worse and worse of the last years with their horrible decisions.
But instead of removing racism, something that actually hurts the gameplay and faction balance... guess what?
They instead removed genders. So all players have to be non binary now. What a joke.

Some of the people here, that give it a 10, praise dragon riding... you do realise, that Blizzard stole that Guild Wars 2, right?

The second feature of this expansion are the Evoker... another embarrassment.
They just took the male model of blood elves, the female model of humans, put a lot of rainbow on it and gave the female Worgen model scales. That is your new dragon race.

Game is very solid. New race, new talents, new UI, new accessibility features (probably the most important thing for UX), solid simple story. I can only recommend WoW and promote the devs to continue going on this direction. More UX, more customizations (spell glyphs, hopefully), and a good story.

Of course one can always find negative things, specially when you're homophobic and you

I honestly don't think it deserves the hate it is getting. Not sure why this whole "woke" thing has people so upset. The gameplay is fun so far, the dragon riding is a good compromise between no flying and being able to fly right off the bat, the quests are engaging, and the talent system is a nice change so far. Kess Chores and a great world to explore. Dragon riding is one of the best features they have implemented for years. Dungeons look great. More twink friendly. Crafting got a lot better. The quests a nice. Could become one of the best addons of wow history.

Dragonflight, this years most anticipated release for me.

How does it stack up? It's the most fun I've had playing WoW since Cata and pandaland. Speaking of mists, Dragonflight has some serious mists vibe, along with some vanilla. Rather than dealling with big cosmic threats of the past few expansions, Dragonflight deals with exploration of a new land and the legacy of the Dragonflights.

Rather than dealling with big cosmic threats of the past few expansions, Dragonflight deals with exploration of a new land and the legacy of the Dragonflights.

The new zones are all beautiful. The waking shore, home of the Black and Red Dragonflights, possesses contrastic landscapes characteristic of the two flights, the desolate volcanic and lush forests respectively.

The plains, home of the Green Dragonflight and the Maruuk centaur tribes, the only friendly centaur faction currently in game. The plains really make one thing, "This is what Desolace must have looked like before Theradras ruined it"

The Azur span, home of the Blue Dragonflight and a new tribe of Tuskarr. Reminiscent several Northrend zones, mainly the Grizzly hills and Borean Tundra's Nexus sublocation.

Tge final questing zone of Thaldraszus serves at the home of the Bronze Dragonflight and home of the main player hub of the expansion. Thaldraszus has perphaps the least visually pleasing landscape of the expansion, but, still visually pleasing nonetheless. A mountainous region, that possess prestine architecture of both dragonkind and titan origin, where the architecture of other regions of the same origins were ruins.

The new race/combo of Dracthyr arefun to play, and have a good deal of customization in both their dragon and humanoid forms.

Dragon riding is also a blast, a new activity of dragon racing also offers a great competitive side activity to do.

There are other aspects of the expansion, like profession overhauls and representation that I don't pay attention to, so i'll let others factor thise into their reviews.

From here on out is largely spoiler territory.

The levwling story, centers around restoring the Oathstones of each Dragonflight, which Alexstrasza believes will restore the Aspects powers, and combating the Primalists, a faction akin to the Twilight Hammer that enslave elementals. Lead by the incarnates, ancient protodrakes who resent titan influence over the world. Lead by Raszageth, the only incarnate who has been freed from her prison, they serve as the current primary antagonists of the story. The first raid tier Vault of the Incarnates will center around this conflict. The interactions between Wrathion and Sabellian has brother energy that I just love, with similar motives but different tactics for what they do.

As an Alliance player I hoped that the devs would finally stop being so biased and start caring for the Alliance... I was wrong. Very, very wrong.

To give you some examples for what I mean by the devs being biased and toxic:

    - Teldrassil, Theramore, Gilneas, Ashenvale and probably some areas I forgot were all destroyed by the Horde and we never got them back in game.
They still are presented as being destroyed and under attack.
    - Stormgarde and darkshore are also destroyed by the Horde and are now stuck in a never ending loop of being a warfront.
Again, we never got them back.
All these zones and cities are left looking like trash now, thanks to the Horde.

Yet the Horde never lost that much and even though they were the aggressor, attacking Alliance zones again and again, they got Undercity immediately back, after they poisoned that place themselves.
    - Night Elves and Worgen meanwhile are getting ignored and are still being refugees in Stormwind.
And they didn't even care to update Stormwind. It uses graphics from 2004...

So the abuser is being rewarded and the victims... nothing. How fair.

    Playable races:

    - Space goats for Alliance vs the only halfway decent looking humanoid race in that game, blood elves for Horde,
Updated night elves/nightborne with now even more customisation options than night elves with a gigantic zone, the biggest city in the entire game and rich lore for the Horde vs copy&paste blood elves with terrible and very few hair styles, almost no customisation options, no zone, no city... they literally live in small tents on a rock... and almost no lore for the Alliance.
    - Better looking trolls, that use the night elf model vs... overweight and way too big humans...

    - And the biggest insult, the only new race Vulpera, a mainstream fox race, that could be straight out of a Disney movie vs... a customisation option for gnomes, the least played race in the entire game.

And these are only some examples of the devs and their toxic behavior. Yet they claim to have no idea why there are almost no players left on the Alliance... sigh

With dragonflights I hoped that we could at least get a zone for the night elves back and Gilneas for the Worgen. Nothing. We got nothing.

Not only that, with the new dragon race they gave the Horde the very last halfway decent looking race on the Alliance side for the Horde, female human + the female Worgen model on top of that.

Just wow. Well then, this was my last attempt of giving this game a chance. I don't want to be forced to pick the favorite faction of the devs. in order to be able to play this game, because the few, who are left playing this game are almost all on the red side.

    No, thanks.

And again I am disappointed with this game...

Where to begin... So... we aren't allowed to choose male or female, while creating a character... fine then? But why do we have to be genderless in order to not offend anyone, while at the same time being forced to participate in a racist faction system? Why are almost all races treated as if they have a hivemind, instead of free will?

Why is the way we look important for choosing a faction instead of making all races neutral and available for both playable factions?

Interesting mindset these devs have. That's for sure.

Dragon riding... well, Guild Wars II says hello.

Recycling old races and mixing them into one is not what I would call a new race.

Why is there still no old world revamp? No offence but the world of wow looks outdated af.
And why are there still no color palettes and sliders for the races? This game is so far behind...

The so called new race is nothing but female humans and male blood elves with rainbow hair and make up with a female Worgen reskin. No new model whatsoever.

Dragon riding is stolen from Guild Wars 2, without giving them credit. They left most of the world with graphics from the early 2000s, instead of finally updating it. Character customisations are not only extremely limited,

Character customisations are not only extremely limited, they are also extremely uneven between the races, so that some races have a lot more options than others. Just way?

Speaking of races, racism is still the very foundation of this game. The devs force teir players to use racial segregation in order to choose a faction.

We have 2022 and there is still no player housing.

I could go on, but in short: I yet again wasted my money for this game...

There are some nice reskins and recolors on the the dragon isles, the new zone. So I guess I can give 3 points for that.

Dragonriding is really fun, until you realize it's rushed, clunky and only way to travel in air. Zones are outstanding, Azure Span is one of the best zones created. Story is not good, especially the cartoony villain that acts like anime antagonist appearing once in every zone, attacking and disappearing until it flaps its chicken wing again in the next zone.
Dungeons are mix-bag, nothing much to say about them.
    The pandering, holy moly.
Don't get me wrong, as a gay person myself I really enjoy seeing more than just cishet representation.
But this is on another level.
The quests seems like they are written by a straight person who makes fanfictions on Wattpad.
It's so unapologetically bad that I think someone at Blizzard wanted you to cringe.

World of Warcraft Dragonflight is not bad, but it's not necessarily a return to form either like Blizzard promised. Now yes, the expansion has been only out for 3 days so some things may change, but it doesn't change the fact that it still feels empty, rushed and full of missed potential

Dragonflight is still de facto at the beginning of its life cycle. Still, one can't help feeling that we desperately needed an adventure like this. With all its pros and cons. [Issue#325]

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is somehow a breath of fresh air and a celebration of classic design principles in equal measure. The return to more dynamic, old-school talent trees enhances the class fantasy with a seasoning of new abilities across the board. At the same time, the retreat of pressuring, artificial power-gating systems promotes a more healthy gameplay loop. The game is also gorgeous, with a more promising storyline, elevated cinematic delivery mechanics, and deeper core systems which make for one of WoW's best expansions in years.

I appreciate the new interface (it needs getting used to though) and talent system (those dilemmas!), as well as changes to crafting that raise its importance. I enjoyed dragonriding a lot and found quests to be engaging, but was disappointed by dull dungeons and repetitive endgame content. World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is a pretty safe expansion and I expected a bit more from it, but I do feel it has a huge potential that could be fulfilled in the near future.
