I appreciate the new interface (it needs getting used to though) and talent system (those dilemmas!), as well as changes to crafting that raise its importance. I enjoyed dragonriding a lot and found quests to be engaging, but was disappointed by dull dungeons and repetitive endgame content. World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is a pretty safe expansion and I expected a bit more from it, but I do feel it has a huge potential that could be fulfilled in the near future.

WoW Dragonflight returns to the Warcraft’s roots as promised, while adding some exciting new features to modernise the iconic MMORPG. It’s endgame content, however, ultimately fails to fill the void.

Dragonflight is a sharply-written and breathtaking experience for the first few dozen hours, but suffers from somewhat threadbare endgame options.
  4. I still haven’t made up my mind if I’m going to be returning to “World of Warcraft” any time soon, whether it is to see how “Dragonflight” evolves from here or to try out future expansions. But after all these years, I’m glad I returned to witness the start of a new journey for a group that spent decades in stasis. Seeing the Dracthyr regaining control of their fate gave me hope that the next time I visit Azeroth, the people behind this world might have freed themselves from their historic shackles.

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight invites players to a breathtaking new world, teeming with excitement. However, despite some enjoyable new features, such as Dragonriding, the experience quickly boils down to more of the same stuff players have seen and done before.

And again I am disappointed with this game...

    Where to begin...

So... we aren't allowed to choose male or female, while creating a character... fine then?
But why do we have to be genderless in order to not offend anyone, while at the same time being forced to participate in a racist faction system?
Why are almost all races treated as if they have a hivemind, instead of free will?
Why is the way we look important for choosing a faction instead of making all races neutral and available for both playable factions?

Interesting mindset these devs have. That's for sure.

Dragon riding... well, Guild Wars II says hello.

Recycling old races and mixing them into one is not what I would call a new race.

Why is there still no old world revamp? No offence but the world of wow looks outdated af.
And why are there still no color palettes and sliders for the races? This game is so far behind...

    Pro:
    Music
    Dragon Riding
    No faction war
    Ducks
    Time traveling Murloc
    New zone looks nice
    Better experience for alts

    Contra:
    Renown has no catch-up mechanics.
The weekly reputation objective provides only miniscule rewards.
Daily raw gold sources such as emissaries or callings are no longer provided, and weekly raw gold sources have been reduced.
    Mission tables are not available.
The best ways of earning gold through professions are restricted to personal crafting orders.
Racial segregation, which doesn't allows players to choose their favorite faction, thus players are still dictated by the devs, which faction to choose, if they want to look a certain way in the game.
Most crafting professions require crafting orders in order to earn skill and knowledge points.
Weekly quests provide no skill gains and only miniscule knowledge gains.
Painfully outdated graphics in many zones and cities.
Still very few and uneven customization options for playable races.
Outdoor elites and rares are tuned like dungeon enemies.
PvP quests are too frustrating due to grouped up, geared players and unbalanced classes.
Dracthyr can only use blood elf and human for visage, instead of all races.

This game plays like a Beta version.
It's insane how many bugs there are. Climbing quests, more often than not, are a mess. Hunts in Azure span 9 out of 10 times are bugged aswell. World boss, yep, also bugged. Multiple quests are bugged and don't reward you or aren't even clickable.
Considering how expensive this game is for players... no thanks. I don't spend anymore money on it. Bugs aren't the only thing, which "bug" me about this game however, but so many other people already spoke about it on metacritic, so I would only echo them, I guess.
Like the horrible, horrible! looking graphics in older zones. Like... wtf is going on in this game?
As a new player... it truly feels as if they haven't spent money on wow since it first came out and that was around 2005 I think. Like seriously, the graphics are outdated.... really, really outdated and don't even get me started on those clunky character models, especially for male humans, Worgen and night elves. They look ugly, so very ugly. Why aren't those things updated? Aswell as the older zones?
Or are the devs of the opinion everyone would just buy a level boost instead of leveling through these zones? And even than, Stormwind for example is a main hub and despite of that it too looks extremely outdated. What are the devs doing with all the money they get from the players? It's really a shame.
And what is it about the racist faction system? I wasn't sure, if I should point that out, because some people might tend to call you woke and stuff, but my god is the system with Horde and Alliance racist. xD Seeing how other players pointed it out on metacritic however, I definitively want to criticize it, too.
Sorry, but being a specific race should not!!! define a faction loyalty. That is just wrong on so many levels. Jeez... Even if Horde and Alliance start yet another pointless war in the future, there is absolutely no reason to keep racial segregation. An Alliance Tauren can fight a Horde Tauren, just like all the other races can fight against eachother. Like Pandaren and Evoker they all need to have free will and free choice, instead of a hivemind mentality.

This game sure is something else, but not in a good way. I tried it for a few months and unfortunately I don't plan on playing it anymore.
I don't feel like it is worth it's money, seeing how the devs don't care for their world and races and on top of that value very questionable mindsets.
