It is seamlessly integrated into the base game, and expands the world in a multitude of ways: from new reactivity to new characters, zones, and story. If you were looking for a reason to try out Rogue Trader or to start another playthrough, this is it.

Sep 29, 2024The expansion Void Shadows perfectly highlights the strengths of Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader, the rich and gloriously dark world. Even though this new expansion is entirely set on the player’s ship, it manages to feel varied and rich in lore. Alongside the exciting new archetypes, an intriguing new companion and a heap of themed gear and upgrades, this expansion is a must for fans of the main game and should be installed for all playthroughs.

Oct 4, 2024An excellent addition to an already fantastic RPG. Void Shadows introduces a brilliant new character to your party, who is a joy to play as, while unraveling a galaxy-spanning conspiracy. Once again, the story is masterfully written and seamlessly woven into the base game. My only wish is for more varied environments and fewer cosmetic bugs.
