    That is some terrible, terrible damage. Just glad i abandoned Blizzard after that heartstone Hong Kong debacle for good. Turns out to be a good decision.

    the game is unplayable, with countless bugs and flaws they promised reforged cut-scenes, improved UI, and newly aligned story to put in line with WOW - NONE of what they promised exists in the game YET they still use that cut scene to advertise the game, the cut scene that does not exist in game they also take your    ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE!! DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

    I bought this game expecting gold, and I got **** The editor is just so insanely restricting, it is almost killing my creativity. I set out to remake some of my creations on Warcraft 3 the original, and it just stopped. I am really dissapointed.

    This? This is what we have been waiting for and spent money on? Where are the new cutscene and campaigns? Where are the new features? This isnt a remake - it's a reskin! Outsourced 4K models slapped on an ancient engine. With less features than the original game! This is a cash grab and nothing less.

    imagine the fealings you got when you heard that your childhoods most memorable game was remastered. A game that was perfect and was still great in 2020. Imagine buying that game, willingly paying 30 bucks for it because it was your most favourite game and you loved it. Imagine then, logging into the game and realising that it was just a big fat Bobby Kotick joke and the game is even worseimagine the fealings you got when you heard that your childhoods most memorable game was remastered. If you continually operate under this system, you find yourself in the situation you are in now blizzard. What was once a company people held strong brand loyalty and affinity towards, has been utterly eroded over time. These out if touch corporate yes-men need to realise the industry they operate in. People form attachments to these games. They are linked to fond memories, nostalgia, escapism, joy and friendship. If you continually take advantage of this loyalty and tarnish these loyal consumers memories, experiences and passion, you risk the pushback you are currently receiving. From a personal standpoint, its good for my dissertation as a case study on dated industry models as shown by activision blizzard, konami, EA etc. As a gamer however, its a disgusting insult to our collective intelligence and expectations when you released a half-baked, greedy and opportunistic product rushed out with the sole purpose of shareholder appeasement.     people really thought that blizzard wanted to reforge WC3 for fans to enjoy? i said it on forums for half a year already and will repeat again. Blizzard saw that there is still a healthy community playing WC3 RTS and realized that they were not making money off that community. So under umbrella of "reforged" the released the same game, with new skins, however changed EULA. EULA that willpeople really thought that blizzard wanted to reforge WC3 for fans to enjoy? i said it on forums for half a year already and will repeat again. Blizzard saw that there is still a healthy community playing WC3 RTS and realized that they were not making money off that community. So under umbrella of "reforged" the released the same game, with new skins, however changed EULA. EULA that will privatize all the creativity of the fans for Blizzard. Than they will add a cash shop and will start selling skins for heroes and units. The initial price tag on "reforged". Lastly, the always Online mod, where people wont be able to play cracked version of the game around the world (new trend, cause games still get cracked and only way to secure them is the "always online"). Blizzard wanted to capitalize revenue on game, that was their mission. Under no circumstances they wanted to recreate the masterpiece for the good of all players/fans.… Expand

    1) bad graphic on max settings. StarCraft II and Heroes of the Storm look much better
    2) no new cutscenes
    3) bugged animations from 2002

    The only thing that I liked was unique character models, but not with such graphics.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
