    They managed to downgrade a 16 YEARS OLD MASTERPIECE by """remastering""" it, bravo. Blizzard's greed is unmatched at this point, they don't give a single **** about players and their licenses. You just had to make new models and animations, and if you feel like investing a little more money, new features and patch notes. But no, spending more than a few months worth of money for the remaster of one of the most important game in Blizzard history when you are a billion dollar company is unthinkable. And while we are at it let's say we own everything that people create in the game, it's going to kill all creativity and will to make custom games, but at least we don't miss on the next Dota. What a disgusting company, I fking hope that you get destroyed by riot games.… Expand

    Thank goodness I got a refund. This game isn't even a polished turd. Its another trashcan money scheme from blizzard. I honestly feel bad for everyone who was apart of this remake. Better luck next time....

    Made an account just to talk about how bad the game is in its current state. It's incredible unfinished, buggy, and does not have a considerable number of features that the original game had. A disappointment.

    Новый Warcraft это плевок в лицо всем фанатам данной стратегии. Обещали одно, а по факту дали людям вечно лагающее, кривое и недоделанное убожество. Где обещанные переделанные синематики? А вместо них просто статичные картинки и все. Они думали, что мы схаваем, они еще никогда так не ошибались!Новый Warcraft это плевок в лицо всем фанатам данной стратегии.     The game shouldn't cost more than $10 and that's still pushing it. This is a paid alpha. Nothing more. It's not at all what was promised.

    The fact that Blizzard released this so effin broken just shows they've lost touch with reality. I purchased 3 licenses ahead of time. One for myself, 2 for friends. And as everyone knows custom games are broken so I can't even rate what the gameplay is like. One thing I know, Ive had it with Activision/Blizzard. Activision has destroyed blizzard

    The only real thing on the game is the upgraded models. Even though they are cool when you zoom in, the new graphics create some weird feeling that the older version was better when you play. Somehow I find the units more difficult to differentiate from the enemies, etc. The buildings, at least for UD, don’t really give a better aspect to the game.     This game gave me cancer. I now have to feed from a tube. My wife left me because of this game. Jesus was gonna come back and then this game got released and he was like...naaaaa

    This revision has tarnished my fond memories of the original WC3 game. Refunded instantly. Blizzard is no longer revered.

    Warcraft 2 was my very first pc game. Warcraft 3 was a dream come true for me, after long years of waiting. And now this. I sure loved you Blizzard

    This game promised to recreate something many hardcore and casual fans alike loved dearly, promised new features that were not implemented, and they even stripped features from a game that was FINISHED OVER A DECADE AGO. I don't understand how you mess something like this up.

    This game does an injustice to a flagship video game that practically made an era. The amount of dishonesty and utter distaste Blizzard shows its fans these days is truly an atrocity. This remake/remaster is a disgrace to its legacy. While technically functional and not all that bad to a new user, any veteran that rode this horse when it was new should be reasonably furious.

    This is so sad, me and my GF bought this thing thinking it would be a stand alone product, but it actually rewrites the original WC3 files, we tried to get a refund but it was denied, now, the only way to play the original WC3 is to actually pirate it. what the hell was blizzard thinking?

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
