    Someone mumbles that the game works, with a minimum of bugs and tipo it does not deserve such an assessment , but it is mainly selling reviewers (for which blizam hard minus, but also a plus for opening your eyes, what they are ***).     From cut off features which were more than promised on the game´s presentation day to a hug disrespect for all of us which had the classic version which EVEN is no more accessible out of the new remaster´s engine.

    Failure of a "Reforge". What we get here is just a wonderful example of greed and way how to BADLY run a company, and mistreat your clients.

    Luckily the Universe Hate the void and after Blizzards Disappearance (for me it no longer exists)
    there will come a trustworthy company with quality goods to get my money.

    Once a quality game company turns into this...

    The game is just bad. Might have been a good thing, an nostalgia. But seems the Blizzard as always doesn't care about us. All I can say is that this game is the worse game ever made.
    Just like in the competitive scenario, disconnect over disconnect.
    Shame Blizzard.

    There are some things that should never see the light of day, this game needed 5-6 more years of polish before it should've been released considering how much it lacks, and performs. This isnt even beta viable. This shows me blizzard is now Activision. R.I.P.

    Never before have I been this disappointed in a game. The fact that Blizzard are still selling this product which is nothing more than a reskin and cull of features from WC3 classic for $45 is a disgrace.

    I did not know it was possible to mess up a game that is nearly 20 years old but it's astounding that Blizzard has done it. I'm one of the few people who still played classic Warcraft 3 and then being forced to upgrade to an inferior version is insulting.

    4 hours of revamped cut scenes, completely redone cinematics, new UI, online clans, etc.

    All of it got removed with no communication to the fanbase until the fans called out Blizzard on their false advertising, then they scold us for wanting what they promised?!

    The game didn't function on launch, the online was broken, the campaign missions would auto-end on launch, shading bugs, coloring of your units would randomly become enemy colors and vice-versa. The FPS was buggy and inconsistent, which is extremely important in the RTS genre.

    Oh, and all the community's custom maps which are responsible for a large majority of the life left in this game? WOTC just declared they have all the rights to them and can use them as they wish without any credit to anyone involved in their production. Not to mention 90% of them don't work on the new client anyway...

    Not only did they fail to release an even remotely functional game, they made the classic W3 game connect to the NEW CLIENT. Meaning all the new bugs and problems affected players who didn't even buy the game! I can't play my classic game. It crashes on launch every time because of their bullsh*t. The models are the only decent thing people are citing (and many hate them to), and Blizzard didn't even make them! It was outsourced to some company in malasia!!

    A disgusting game made by a rotting company with no concern for the people who kept their games alive all these years. They partook in immoral, even illegal practices to protect their all-too-precious bottom line. I hope they go out of business so someone who actually values the game can take it over and treat it properly. For Shame, Blizzard. (the programmers and such in the trenches I'm sure had little to no involvement in this rui9ned product being so rushed and falsely represented.     . Во первых хочу отметить очень важный момент, я часто играю за нежить( за удов проще говоря) и у меня есть претензии именно к этой расе .     This game is unfinished. And i cant even play custom games just sends me back to main menu. Only i can play is story mode. if blizzard only would fix this game with making new UI like at trailer, new cut-scenes and fix bugs then maybe i would buy it again.

    I was hopelessly dissapointed by the product that was shown into my eyes when i opened the game at first time.
    I as a massive wc freak that spent most of his childhood either playing wc3 or wow would expect blizz to deliver a great product.

    Absolutely unplayable, many crashes even out of battle net (doing campaings, custom parties vs PC), graphics are not the same they promess and friends can not play due to their PC´s run slower than classic version (even without the reforged graphics applied)...nothing more to say, just rlly bad game.

A while back I started to play Starcraft 2 and now that I heard that new Reforge is coming up, I was stoked cause I remembered how many custom maps and pvp features you had, and finally I would play Dota 1 again, but with better graphics. This goes to all AAA publishers, you all suck a massive knob for releasing a pre-order game unfinished and for a full price, and to all the gamers, stay strong and stop, PLEASE STOP pre ordering games, publishers like this are using you and your cash.     i have heard a lot of trash talk about Warcraft 3 reforged so i thought i just wouldn't get it and play the old one. but i cant. its not as bad as i had heard but there are a lot of bugs and at this point the game wont even open for me. i haven't even tried multiplayer and i heard that that's where it gets really sh**.
    so my recommendation is do not buy it because i cant even play it.

    Was hoping to play all my favorite custom maps again and see what new maps would appear, but it seems activision-blizzard managed to **** up their servers and write the most outrageous eula to custom mapping that no one is going to bother to put any effort into creating new fun custom maps.

    Dont buy this pile of crap.

You can't even play the old classic game anymore. Classic Warcraft III players must download more than 20 GB of unnecessary data. Some old features have disappeared: no more clans, no more ladder, no more personalized campaigns, even what was promised on the graphical evolution is a mess. The French voices have been redone ... much less fun and engaging than the original ones.

    I am a big fan of Blizzard RTS games since Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness and I bought each game and its respective extension (Warcraft II / III, Starcraft I / II / Remastered). Warcraft III Reforged is closer to a downgrade than an evolution of this legendary RTS game.

    I am 40 years old and it is the first time in my life that I ask for a refund for a game ...... so disappointed and sad to see what has become of Blizzard !!!

    Fan of RTS games, if you want a real remake of a mythical game, you should rather take a look at AOE II: D.E instead of Warcraft III: Reforged .... at least you will not feel cheated

Vous ne pouvez même plus jouer à l'ancien jeu classique. Les joueurs classiques de Warcraft III doivent télécharger plus de 20 Go de données inutiles. Certaines anciennes fonctionnalités ont disparu: plus de clans, plus de ladder, plus de campagnes personnalisées, même ce qui était promis sur l'évolution graphique n'est pas au rendez-vous. Les voix françaises ont été refaites....bien moins drôles et attachantes que les voix originales.

    Je suis un grand fan des jeux Blizzard RTS depuis Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness et j'ai acheté chaque jeu et son extension (Warcraft II / III, Starcraft I / II / Remastered). Warcraft III Reforged est plus proche d'une dégradation que d'une évolution de ce jeu mythique.

    J'ai 40 ans et c'est la première fois de ma vie que je demande un remboursement pour un jeu ...... tellement déçu et triste de voir ce qu'est devenu Blizzard !!!

    Fan de RTS, si vous voulez un vrai remake d'un jeu mythique, vous devriez plutôt jeter un œil à AOE II: D.E au lieu de Warcraft III: Reforged....au moins vous ne vous sentirez pas floué.

I would happily contribute to a class action lawsuit against them if I knew how. Can't get a refund, no rights for creators of custom games. Textbook example of corporate greed!

    So i bought the game few months after releasing with hope developers fix the game with patches, worst mistake i ever did, i can't believe you can still buy this piece of crap, i will never ever buy a game from this developers.
    Paid 50nzd and it's literally unplayable, lagging even when i play vs bots.

    A massive disappointment that butchered an already established game and its community and forced both new and old to co-exist without first creating a stable platform to work upon. The game crashes much more often than any previous iteration had, and strips away more content than it adds. It's sad when a remaster of a game does more damage to its predecessor than good.

    У Warcraft теперь ни души нет, ни былой славы нет. Сразу ясно, что те кто занимались этим чудо проектом были вообще не заинтересованы, были даже скорее всего не знакомы со вселенной игры.

    Old client gone.
    Old battle.net and global custom maps gone. Ability to kick, gone. A lot of maps can't be remade.

    While the remake was horrible, that was not the deciding factor why people dislike the game so much. The reason why this remake was hated so much was how the developers treated their fans. Not only did they ruin the remake they also made it impossible for people to play the original, even though the update they force on players does not improve anything.     What the hell blizzard??! What have you done to this game??! You ruined our beloved game and i'm glad that I did not bought this game. Everything was outrageous and seeing it pains my eyes. You were not the Blizzard that we grew up with and you lied to everyone that you will give us everything to reimagine this game but it wasn't instead you gave us nothing but buggy and unfinished game.

    5. For the last 3 months, I am glad that I spent time playing path of exile instead of Diablo 3 ( by the way POE is free ).

    I believe people were paid to break, not make this game. If so, what an investment this is. It is so poorly executed it managed to break the previous, already stable Warcraft, for Christ's sake!

    This is, in and of itself, disrespectful to the entire gaming industry. I'd have liked it more if you guys just released a ga-cha game like Raid Shadow Legends - as greedy and time-unworthy as those games are, they're more transparent. 99% of the fans you've LOST would've stayed in their lanes making this faded company bigger if that was your strategy.    … Expand

Speaking of unplayable, the bugs, dis-connects only adds to the misery this game offers the user offering nothing more than a miserable user experience. Lag times are extremely high and the match-making is an abomination.
    Custom games = OUT, Ladders = Out, Lan Play = OUT the list goes on. Bugs, Server Issues, broken promises makes this a disaster of a game offering you disappointment = ALL IN.

    Blizzard only Managed to make a perfect game that I and many loved into something that is unplayable which many people such as myself now stay clear of. Whenever they make updates/fixes the bugs they say have been patched still remain buggy and game remains unplayable. Absolutely disgusting

    Bought the game disregarding the review bombs. It has terrible performance, often lagging and dropping to abysmal frame rates. Sound will de-sync during gameplay and sometimes not return for 5 minutes. I expect more out of a remaster of an 18 year old game, especially after the stellar Starcraft Remaster in 2017. Is this a sub 1 rating game? No. But is deserving of scorn. Be better Blizzard.

I could use a terminal launch to force openGL, and that worked fine for a bit but was already unnecessary. Then this reforged thing came out, and to my surprise, I had no choice but to adopt it! That immediately killed support on my 27" iMac, so naturally, I switch to my brand new quad core 2020 macbook air. Sure, not a gaming machine, but this is WC3 we're talking about...I played RoC on a 1.6ghz G5 iMac back in 2006 bc I could.

    The game is absolutely unplayable. Even at lowest graphics settings, I can't run at native resolution. I cant change my cursor speed or mouse sensitivity, which just boggles my mind, so the cursor is way too slow, even after adjusting it in the OS. The new custom map EULA is a joke...blizzard now wants ownership of what individuals and enthusiasts have worked hard over the years to keep WC3 a relevant game. The whole thing is just absolutely disgusting. The worst part? I can't even revert back to the normal game! While I could play this game for 10 years on my iMac, now, forever, I can't. That's just mind-blowing to me. Blizzard should have left a great game a great game and worked on WC4. This was not just a letdown, it physically breaks the game that I've enjoyed for the past 17 years. This will go down as the worst launch in history...it has to.

    Anybody who tries to defend this game must take into account that this isn't just a remastered separate release. It breaks the original game for all eternity. Shame on Blizzard, really, are the nicest words to describe my feelings about this. Technically, I can (sometimes) launch the game, so it gets a 1, not a zero.    … Expand

    Well, let's see... You could re-release a worse version of the game with only 1/3rd of the features, while simultaneously shutting down the servers for the original that have served strong for 20 years.

    Great job Blizz. You succeeded.

    Models look like they were made by different designers in different offices and the consistency shows. Some just don't match the theme and look totally out of place. I have no evidence of this, but that's my impression.

    The game feels utterly unpolished. One of the first things I did when I started the game was jump into a skirmish against/with bots, and to my surprise, the AI hadn't even been touched. It was also riddled with bugs at release and just.....felt like a rushed game with little commitment or investment.

    Overall, I dare say the original rendition on the game was far superior and the disconnect from the lead designers / decision makers shows that this game was made by accountants rather than people passionate about the game they were making.    … Expand

    This looks really bad. For this price I expected better. Knowing what Blizzard stands for (not Hong Kong, but yes to Georges Soros money), I feel they don't give a crap of gamers.

    This really is as bad as people say. They actually took away the game I purposefully purchased before Reforged came out. I was forced to "upgrade" to this against my will. Its so bad and glitchy. Stay away.

    Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
