    A complete scam and a slap to the face of us consumers. I've never seen such a poorly remastered product. It felt more like a warmed product than reforged... warmed and spoiled under the summer sun. Not only did they under-deliver what they promised (no enhanced cut scenes, poor graphics for a remaster, failed to update the interface, etc.) but also the game is full of bugs and completelyA complete scam and a slap to the face of us consumers. I've never seen such a poorly remastered product. It felt more like a warmed product than reforged... warmed and spoiled under the summer sun. Not only did they under-deliver what they promised (no enhanced cut scenes, poor graphics for a remaster, failed to update the interface, etc.) but also the game is full of bugs and completely overrode my classic version of Warcraft 3! I can't even access the stuff I used to do before the patch.

    NEVER AGAIN BLIZZARD! NEVER AGAIN!

    Highest expectations! When the game was announced, pre-ordered, well and now:
    - Lying main menu
    - closing it old bnet - fewer functions in the new new bnet   old wc3 does not start at all anymore and all my funmaps do not work (except those from blizzard) - instant loose screen after the start of the 3rd mission - unfulfilled expectations regarding cutszenes / interface etc. - no    Highest expectations! When the game was announced, pre-ordered, well and now:

    This cannot be a "reforged" version, at best a "refurbished" version. No new cinematic, the graphism have just been upscale, no updated UI for 4K... Minimal effort, maximal cash.

    I created an account here only to give a bad rate to this game. It’s based on false advertisement (campaign rework and alignment to actual lore, cinematic rework, to give some examples of promised stuff which never happened). Don’t waste your money with it!

    I feel like they robbed me like buy a secondhand car only to find they removed the engine on delivery. How can a company really feel that they can show you one thing and deliver something so different from what they promised and think that’s ok...... words can’t even describe how this company has basically robbed from its own fan base.

    I don't understand what blizzard was thinking with this. Removal of cross-realm play makes it harder to play TD and RPG-games which are what I mostly play in custom games since lag isn't usually a big factor in those but doesn't even matter since they also deleted all my downloaded maps. 18+ years of history and custom content down the drain for no reason.

    This game is a 30$ downgrade

    - No new UI
    - No new cutscenes (just the old ones rescaled)
    - Lots of old features missing
    -No ladder
    -Can't play RoC
    -Modders no longer have any rights to their mods (blizz can remove any mod they want)
    -game sucks dick

Oh wait I mean Activision-Blizzard. It’s amazing how you can completely destroy one of the best games ever made in less than 24 hours. And the fact they merged the older client into the new one is the cherry on top. I’d give this lower than a zero if I could . What a disgrace. They had such an opportunity here but again it’s all about the money . They scammed people with promises to make a quick buck while they continue to try and grab as much cash as possible with subpar wow expansions and patches.… Expand

    So if you bought warcraft 3 RoC and TFT over a decade ago. You cannot play the classic series anymore. Blizzard is FORCING this downgrade on you. Tbh, I just liked the game. Im not looking for a realistic VR experience here.

    They delivered a terrible product. I preordered this game and what they showed on their reveal in 2018. is a completely different game than the one we got in 2020. The cutscenes look way worse, the FPS is terrible and many other features were cut. Horrible game.

    As a Blizzard game this is a 0 or 1. As a game compared to everyone else it's a 3. The game ran better on OpenGL years ago than it does now. If you have the old version and the blizzard app installed it will auto update your old working version to this pile. The cash grab is a shot to the very heart of what used to make Blizzard great.

    sad as it is to admit, this game defined a big part of my growing up. to this day the original still has a robust and interesting community it spawned maps that went on to become stand alone games that are huge in the gaming world and this redesign let down everything about the original and everyone who loved it, shame on you blizzard you are nothing but corporates now

    I bought this game in 2003 and I am a live long fan of the franchise, but this game is the greatest disappointment in gaming history... This game feels like it was developed in 2010 and has little to no love in it.

After some googling found that matchmaking balance and ladder features will probably arrive in 3-4 months. Is that really an approach of releasing games worthy Blizzard brand? Total shame...     This has to be one of the worst releases of a game in years. I can't even exit out of the game. The exit game button doesn't work.. None of my menus populate all blank. The lag and FPS drops in the menu is just despressing.. Good luck to anyone wanting to get a refund on this dumpster fire of a mess

    Can't connect to custom games, no support for ultrawide, animations running at jarringly low framerates. It seems like this game was release months too early, I hope they can fix it.

    This is not alpha, it is post beta, this is the official release. . . .
    Custom games and VS games don't work and Campaign works . . . sometimes.

А так как по мне продукт сыроват на столько, что я не понимаю на что ушёл в целом этот месяц переноса и 2 года ожиданий. Абсолютно корявый AI и обещанные динамичные кат-сцены с реворком кампании остались лишь пылью в глазах людей возлагавших надежду на этот проект (я в этом числе). ОзвучкаНакину двойку, только за попытку сделать "амбициозный проект" с поддержкой ретрогейминга. А так как по мне продукт сыроват на столько, что я не понимаю на что ушёл в целом этот месяц переноса и 2 года ожиданий. Озвучка субъективщина, как по мне - безэмоциональная пустышка (ИМХО). Пытались близзард объеденить мезозой и 21 век, да в итоге вышло не пойми что.     At the time I'm writing this, they still have +4 hours of new cutscenes on the buy page of their store, and they aren't in game. The only difference between this and WC3 from twenty years ago are models made by another studio. All that was promised at Blizzcon other than the models is gone.

    > El perfil de jugador es de chiste (y más en los tiempos que corren, que sea tan inferior al del juego original es acojonante).
    > El sistema de salas de chat... sin comentarios!
    > En general la interfaz de menús etc. parece hecha en 2 días deprisa y corriendo.
    > Lo más currado son todos los modelos nuevos QUE LOS HAN EXTERNALIZADO A OTRA EMPRESA. Entonces... que ha hecho Blizzard en estos 2 años?? Integrar el juego en BNET y optimizarlo de pena? Que me lo expliquen por favor.
    > En la CAMPAÑA no se ha dado ni la mitad de lo que se prometió en un principio.
    y podría seguir si me paro a pensar en más cosas pero vamos a dejarlo ahí...

    Que en este juego Blizzard no ha destinado recursos queda más que claro, y de ahí que haya salido como ha salido. La compañía va cuesta abajo y sin frenos y si no depuran responsabilidades mucho me temo que así seguirá. No les queda ni la sombra del prestigio que tuvieron en su día. El consumidor tiene que empezar a hablar con su cartera y dejar de adquirir sus productos o nada va a cambiar. Este debe ser el primer paso para que espabilen.

And add a 1-2 new units to each fraction. It would take a couple of months probably. But yes, they couldn't take money for that little patch.     Man, it's honestly hugely disappointing. It's better than playing the original but would have been more acceptable as a $10 mod rather than being advertised as a $30 game

    Rip off. Not just bad quality. This game was dependent on its custom community and free custom games. Blizzard added into their TOS that any custom map produced through their editor becomes THEIR intellirctu property and the user forfeits all claims if blizzard monetizes it.

    I didn't even get any crashes and I was still sorely disappointed. For a release in 2020 to look worse than anything that came out the previous decade of any significance is staggering from a once great company. It still plays like its early 2000's release brethren which was groundbreaking for the time but very dated today. Where is the worker automation?     Blizzard in their element doing what they do best nowadays. Broken games, broken promises. Literally an overpriced graphics mod and nothing else, and I've seen more impressive fan made content. Perfect chance to put it a bit of effort and make it match with current lore and voice actors, but nope.

    A Remake build on false advertisement and lies, Most of the features that they are still advertising with on their Website aren't even in the game, the only thing that looks better are the Models and overall it seems like even features from the original game are missing, so what you are paying for is basically retextured character models in not even the full game.

During BlizzCon 2018 Blizzard promised new mission animations, new voice overs, better UI and of course improved graphics and delivered none of these, except the redone Prophecy CGI intro and better models and textures.     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.

    If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game worth of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more.
