    Bugged like sonic 06 with missing features to boot. This would all be fine though if it weren't for the fact the 17 year old game this is based on has none of these issues was cheaper and was therefore "naturally" made unaccessible (even to those that owned it previously) to promote this piece of garbage.

    False advertisement at its best . I grew up playing Blizzard games and watching them fall like this ... Everyone would have understand that you delayed game for half a year or year even ... but to ship it fast with nothing promised delivered ... and also kill old WC3 along with it ... thats just not Blizzard anymore .     КАМПАНИЯ, ради которой я КУПИЛ эту - если можно так сказать игру от Метелицы, которая даже не ЗАПУСКАЕТСЯ. То есть, я пришёл с работы, сажусь в своё любимое кресло и вижу загрузку Метелицы, (обычно означает что сейчас будет нечто ГРАНДИОЗНОЕ) но не в этот мать его вечер.

Вот это прикол! Вау! И ладно это была бы кампания ноунейм от которой не знаешь чего ожидать, но коммон - это Метелица! Планка есть, её никто не убирал!
    Они не могут сами обеспечить работоспособность своего продукта, только вдумайтесь, как они заняты чем угодно только не клиентоориентированным подходом что был ВСЕГДА их фишкой. Это не с подачи обосрите эту игру как только можно, в первую очередь обсирают не игру, а те руки через которые продукт прошёл. На их ПЛЕЧИ ложиться ответственность и горечь фанатов - которые на релизе искали в гугле "Как вернуть деньги за игру в близшопе?"

Но вы решили убить все это, это как если бы вы пошли сейчас и убили своих пожилых родителей. Вы убийцы, я не могу назвать вас иначе. Варкрафт 3 стал культовой игрой, легендарной игрой сам по себе ,но и еще способствовал появлению других культовых игр , да ладно игр , благодаря варкрафту появились новые жанры - мова,тавер дефенс. Это все заслуга фанатов и редактора, что был вшит в игру. Но вы сейчас убиваете все это. Про русскую локализацию я упоминать не буду в этом море проблем она лишь капля. Дело было не в том, что она не канон или некачественный перевод или нужна переозвучка новых сцен, вам просто было проще штампонуть новую , чем заплатить за права на старую. Новых сцен нет, перевод стал хуже. Артес голос которого меняется , который из наивного, дерзкого юнца становится королем нежити лучше вашего непонятного канона , где артес изначально спокойный и меланхоличный, так почему паладины называют его дерзким? Почему Был даунгрейд графики ? Почему переделали один синематик ? Почему катсцены почти не изменили ? Почему не добавили ничего нового? Почему изменили только 3 миссии из более чем 60? Почему остались старые баги? Почему появились новые баги? Почему не добавили новых функций ? Почему убрали старые функции в батлнете ? Почему появились дисконнекты? Почему вы это сделали ? Почему вы решили убить варкрафт? Почему вам плевать на фанатов? Почему, Почему, ПОчему, ПОЧему,ПОЧЕму,ПОЧЕМу,ПОЧЕМУ? Я не могу ответить на этот вопрос, надеюсь вы можете. Я возвращаю деньги за предзаказ, голос денег,утекающих через ваши пальцы, вы явно слышите лучше, чем наши крики. Думаю вы тоже слышали о фаллаут 76 - это был знатный плевок во всех, но вы переплюнули даже их. Я все сказал вам близард.     Reforged is a Bug-Ridden Mess. This is the lowest Blizzard ever been. They took preorder money from people , promised 8 features but then cut 5 short and delivered a buggy, unfinished, rushed product and charged premium for it. DO not support this greedy company!

    A low effort cashgrab. The idea of re-releasing an iconic game after this many years sounded great. Unfortunately the accounting team decided that paying artists and programmers to update it actually takes money, while selling it brings in money. So lets just skip the whole effort part where we actually do work and make it good and just resell it to suckers. Brilliant!!!

    However, perhaps the strongest motivator for someone to wish for a remake of an old game in a relevant franchise is not to play it, but to share it and it's relevance to your history with the franchise with those who entered the fandom at a later date.

    I recall someone close to me looking forward to the release of Warcraft III: Reforged, because they had never experienced the game themselves. It was for that reason that I decided I would pre-order this game. I wanted to support a product that allowed me and friends to geek out about a game that I have played to the metaphorical death. There's no reason for me to go back to a campaign that I could practically recite word-for-word. I could provide context for every detail in the campaign and how it helped shape our perspective of the Warcraft continuity and also how it didn't; how we thought certain details were not important and are no longer remembered, but how other details are cited to this day as ironclad evidence of how superior the story was back in the day.

    And so, I resolved on the idea that, if the game was going to offer both the old maps and new, updated maps, I would have a reason to play something with new content, but also to then discuss the game with players who had never tried it before and discuss how the updates differ from the original.

    That is, in a sense, what was promised. A contrast between old and new and an opportunity to catch new players up on lore that has been lying dormant for an actual human generation at this point.

    That is not what I and others have received. This experience combines two sins; saying nothing and saying too much. Not even in the way most people would argue.

    In the original, the ability for the models to communicate complex emotions was limited to simple lip flaps. Loading the game for the first time (and after enduring my first number of visual bugs doing it), I was severely disappointed when seeing arguably the main character of the franchise, Thrall, rendered so lifeless and dead-eyed and savage that he would have just as easily fit in the Undead faction.

    This is due to the simple fact that, in the original, the eyes and pupils were not even rendered, requiring the user to read into the lipflaps and not-so-subtle animations using the voice performance as a guide. As a result, Thrall appeared to be calmer than his orcish brethren, staring into the distance with a studious brow; like a young, but promising chess player surrounded by supportive jocks. Instead, the added detail of the model makes the gaze of Thrall unambigious and not for the better, making him seem unhinged as he stares into nothing with a permanent snarl on his face, with features that do not suit him. The character no longer reads as he ought to. Worse, the lack of animation to his face in sharp contrast to what was done for Starcraft 2, makes me question whether it wouldn't be better to just replace the talking faces of the characters with static paintings instead.

    The utter lack of new content, new angles and new perspectives meanwhile, mean that this poorer, less ambiguous experience is not overcome with new perspectives. The strengths of the creative choices made have gone completely unutilized, making the weaknesses of the graphical updates that much worse.

    This review should serve as a strong indictment of the creative vision behind this product, undoubtedly cowed by managerial corruption and misdirected outrage culture.

    The only good thing about this experience has been how smoothly my product was refunded and I gather that this is not a universally shared opinion.

    Added to this the myriad technical bugs, the unnecessary rush to release, the content vacuum of Blizzard games, the changes to the original executable, the utter lack of transparency and many other reasons, I question again;

    What was this product made for other than to bring the fanbase closer together? Given that it didn't, one can only say that this product has failed it's most basic purpose. This further cements that Blizzard's decision to lay off community managers who could have seen this coming is becoming Blizzard's new origin story for all it's horrid product launches and further division of a jaded costumer base.

    If a game could receive negative ratings, I would give them to this game.    … Expand

    Spent more than 15 years in classic WC3. Will spend not even another single second in Reforged. Unfinished game with horrible performance. The game's UI is not user friendly, models looks good on paper, but ingame it blends into one giant mash. Warcraft: Refunded

    I still have a physical copy of roc, but I can't get the latest update or tft without downloading the whole reforged.

    No cumplieron con lo prometido, quitaron cosas que estaban bien, se adueñaron de los derechos de los creadores de mapas. Esecencialmente es un mod HD de warcraft 3 original, pero peor.
    Además si lo compras te obliga a actualizar la versión clásica de warcraft 3, dejándote sin esta.

Crashs , fail optmized for the graphic quality (Mobile games had more texture of this and run better, making WC Classic 2002 seems better than a game launched 2020 ) another words the worst experience on RTS now days. if You want a good game the Classic Warcraft 3 is better.     It was marketed as a pretty complete overhaul (models and textures, ui, cutscenes, usability improvements...). In reality this only brings a model update, better effects and some occlusion, which takes a massive performance hit even on modern hardware (fps drops to mid 20s in a nvidia 1070).

    As a long time WC3 player and map maker, their art direction and choices to bastardize the original integrity of the game to make it match up to the fantasy of WoW players and non-RTS players who will likely quit playing in the first few months, if not sooner with how terrible this game has launched at with game breaking bugs is a disgrace and a slap in the face to die-hard Warcraft III players in the melee & custom games scene.     Они обещали бета тест к весне 2019 года, но мало того, что его не было, так не было и какой либо информации о разработке игры. (Зато предзаказ они сразу открыли)

    После более года тишины добрые датамейкеры показали нам тонну моделей и иконок, что дало вспомнить об этой игре, но тут же было сказано разработчиками, что видите ли коммьюнити недовольно такими изменениями и они решили вернуть все обратно и все оставить как в оригинальном варкрафт 3. (Предзаказ естественно вам никто не вернет)

    Люди, которые оформили предзаказ смогли поиграть в бету с обычными людьми, которые даже не брали предзаказ,

    После чего, они перенесли дату выхода игры с обещанного 2019 года на 2020 год под конец 1 месяца, где по итогу ничего не было изменено, кроме моделей.

    И я сомневаюсь, что они послушав коммьюнити решили все оставить как было в оригинале, скорее всего просто они в очередной раз сэкономили на разработке. (но предзаказ до сих пор висит)

    По итогу, люди, которые оформили предзаказ в 2018 году, в надежде увидеть перекованную версию той самой легендарной Warcraft 3, получили в ответ плевок за 1300 рублей, где ровным счетом из обещанного не было сделано ничего!!!

    Перенос классики на это убожество и невозможность вернуть старый варкрафт, куча багов, отсутствие кланов и прочие прелести Blizzard, за 1300 рублей!!!

But it wasn't until I saw gameplay from the original Warcraft 3, that it hit me: I am enjoying Warcraft 3. The only    I am having a great time!
    So far I am enjoying playing Warcraft 3: Reforged. But then I realized, it's for all the wrong reasons. I had heard that the whole "New stories and altered lore to fit in better with the current lore" had been scrapped, which I thought was a shame. But it wasn't until I saw gameplay from the original Warcraft 3, that it hit me: I am enjoying Warcraft 3. The only difference is that it is HD. And the HD is a bit hit or miss - sometimes it looks really cool, and other times it looks stiff and generic. Seems like I paid 30$ for a fan HD rendition of the game.

    I like how the lips match the words the characters are saying. I really don't understand why the rest of the face is so stiff though. This is most apparent in the cutscenes, which are not the promised cinematic retelling of classic in-game cutscenes, but just the same cutscenes from Warcraft 3, but with the newer models. Happy Arthas at the beginning of the game basically has the exact same expression as angry Arthas later on in the game.

    TL;DR: I am enjoying the Warcraft 3 elements, but I am not quite sure exactly what I paid 30$ for, nor why it took so long to develop, even though the features that seemingly would've taken the most effort weren't implemented.    … Expand

    In comparison to what they promised, especially the footage from the trailer a few years ago when first revealed, this game is utter garbage. It genuinely looks worse than the original game. Yes, there are new character models. I know that some people like them. I don't especially, for they don't make use of the same design language as before – it is very noticeable that they were made out of house. The cut scenes and cinematic scenes in this new release are ALL WORSE than the original. They are dark and muddy to look at, lacking the magic and authenticity of the old game, and not coming even close to what was previewed. Quite what they've done to the audio in this release is beyond my understanding. I just know it sounds worse.

    I preordered this game in a state of optimism and excitement. And now can't even get a refund (I'm disputing the case, but currently that's the status). It is pathetic of Blizzard to have blatantly lied about what they were promising, and then very quietly dialled back on virtually every promise. The fact that they changed the licence regards modding and map-making is atrocious – it was one of the best things about the original game. There is just so little regard for the passion and enthusiasm of their biggest and most loyal fans. This is not the same company I fell in love with as a kid. They are corporate, greedy, shameless, and liars to boot.

    The game doesn't even run well. Yes, that's right. A game made in 2002 doesn't run in 2020. What's more, they have screwed the original, forcing us all to use the new Battle.net. So, yeah. They have failed to "reforge" the game. They have virtually killed the original game. They have lied and lied and lied; taken our money to pay lawyers to write up new draconian and frankly unreasonable user-agreements that directly spit on fans who have loved and supported Blizzard for decades; trashed what was the best ever RTS of all time (yes, I consider it better than SC); and don't even have the decency to refund preorders. Being lied to by anyone is unpleasant. To be lied to by your favourite games studio, in relation to your favourite game is off the charts.

    I honestly hope Blizzard crumbles and disappears over the next few years. I would be ashamed to work there now. Employees should protest the corporate takeover. Fans and customers need to vote with their wallets. I suspect that Diablo 4 will be the final proof that Blizzard is dead. It needs to be buried and left to rest. What exists today is an infected corpse, belching up putrid crap in exchange for as much money as it can leech from us (the vast majority of which goes to shareholders and company heads – not to the actual creatives and developers).     Blizzard has addressed some of the complaints and criticism hurled its way, and has promised to work on many of these issues. Naturally, one must ask why the game was released in such a state, especially considering the negative attention the company has garnered over the past year with the reveal of Diablo Immortal and the Blizzard/China controversy.

    In the end it’s worth noting that when viewing a remake or remaster what needs to be taken into consideration is the source material, how it looks, feels, and plays. That is, in addition to the work carried out to recreate moments, update visuals, and change any of the presentation. To do otherwise would be silly, a terrible game with a wonderful remaster doesn’t warrant a high score. In the case of Warcraft III, the inverse to that is also true. So, what we end up with is something in-between. A classic reborn, in a package that doesn’t warrant all that much in the way of celebration.
