    Promising mechanics with a fairly unique feel, easy to understand game play, and perfectly acceptable levels of polish bode well for this FreePromising mechanics with a fairly unique feel, easy to understand game play, and perfectly acceptable levels of polish bode well for this Free to Play CCG. However, pretty quickly, strategies start to coalesce around a few boring approaches, and resources in play are so fungible that there is little value to developing any strategy, or choosing one card over another; Choose the card that makes the skull, makes magic that makes a skull, makes food that can be fed to a character to make a skull, or that attacks for the equivalent of one skull. Gameplay!

    Ultimately it feels like an interesting engine where they decided to substitute a money sucking Skinner box for any depth of strategy. Pretty disappointing, but to be fair, you can definitely get an hour or two of fun toying around with some interesting mechanics before it overstays its welcome, and by that time, it will have earned its free price tag. Give it a shot if you like trying new card game mechanics, but don't get your hopes up.
