    People hate on this game too much. They grind overwatch and CSGO but some people don’t. For players who got in late to those games they can get in at ground level in valorant and really become a quality player

    Despite what a lot of people say in here, the game's in a pretty solid state for launch, as it is exactly what it aims to be: a solid tactical shooter with abilities to enlarge lethal gunplay.

    The character design is pretty good, the abilities feel mostly balanced (and when they don't, then developer quickly comes in and tries to balance them), and the gunplay is very, very solid.    Despite what a lot of people say in here, the game's in a pretty solid state for launch, as it is exactly what it aims to be: a solid tactical shooter with abilities to enlarge lethal gunplay.

    The character design is pretty good, the abilities feel mostly balanced (and when they don't, then developer quickly comes in and tries to balance them), and the gunplay is very, very solid.

    Kids these days won't understand that this game is all about coordination and communication with their peers, it's not a Battle Royale in which you mostly rely on your solo player instincts and good RNG drops. This game requires a lot more than that.

    I'd like to see a little more depth in future maps (like CS:GO's), and some more accurate recoil. But apart from that, this game's going to be a hit.    … Expand

    El juego es un clon de otro juego bastante famoso. Pero lejos de mejorarlo con la adición de habilidades lo empobrece. Si a eso le añades unos gráficos de baja calidad y una comunidad muy experimentada por saber jugar a ese famoso juego, tienes el coctel perfecto para que un jugador nuevo no disfrute en absoluto del título.

    Я не верю что вангуард работает, слишком много подозрительных игроков встречается, которые без информации от других (потому что они все мертвы) находят вас всегда и всегда попадают именно в голову, слишком это часто, уж не верю я в это риот. Так же игра не стабильна, проблемы с странными выкидываниями и зависанием матча, когда всех игроков просто выбросило и игра не продолжилась.     Well, not an amazing game, but surely rigid in it's concept. You get to pick a character that has an ability used only once. You get to buy weapons per game, and if you are going well, you will be able to buy more abilities. Whatever you do, there is no ability better than a good and clear line of sight, Also, map allows a 'guess game' on the whereabouts of the enemy and sound tips/stealthWell, not an amazing game, but surely rigid in it's concept.     Now, as a matter of taste i)graphics are more cartoonish than photorealistic ii) There is no rush/run/sprint/slide etc only standard movement and slow/silent movement. This makes run and shoot almost impossible and this characteristic is amplified by no respawn. You died. nice. better next time. learn not to COD. iii) also no more brainless jumping around like a gnat. It doesnt mean that valorant is a sim, but you get the idea.

    All and all, not a solid 10, but an 7-8 just because it is fun but not addictive. and it is in between in many respects. It does not excel in any field but not a crap either. Be careful, mediocre score of this game is because haters that expected something else gave it a zero. Give it a try.     I agree with a few negative opinions, like... this game do feel like unfinished. I find it great that it tries to compete directly with CS:GO, but that game have a lot of different modes and tons of maps. I do realize that CS:GO is a much older game, but even so, for a finished game, I expected much more content.     And there's the anti-cheat system. I feel incredibly worried, but the game is really good, so I hope Riot do whatever they need to stop this system from harm ours.
    Overall the game is really fun, I'm having the best time. Most of the complaints are from high end PC owners who think all games should look like Battlefield 1, but for me, the game needs to be fun. I have other games to benchmark my PC specs, don't need a free-to-play doing this as well.    … Expand

    Its like CS:GO, but with a higher focus on competitive gameplay and balance.
    Its like Overwatch, but with more updates and memorable characters.
    Riot Games out-does Blizzard and Valve after just 1 year of VALORANT being available publicly.
    Best shooter that exists to date. Easy to learn and dangerously addictive.

    The game is pretty OK. Really love the art style and the heroes' personalities. However, Vanguard is a HUGE pain in the ass. I've restarted my PC these past weeks (due to issues with Vanguard) more times than I've restarted it last year :/

    Classic 5v5 competitive shooter. Feels kinda casual and like a mix of counter strike and overwatch. It's good for what it wants to be but not groundbreaking. Some bugs and the weird hitboxes can be frustrating. The maps feel balanced although there are other games which do alot better.

    In my opinion the game is great. It's fun to play (especially with friends) but still competitive.
    I know there are things to be done but they'll fix it / balance it over time.

    slow movemoentr. reyna too op. bad aiming. borring maps. don't support the developers and don't buy skins. If you want to play a good game play csgo or rainbow or just paint a wall and wait until it drys, it will be much more fun.

    Ive played a decent amount of csgo but was never a fan of the graphics or Valves lack of involvement. This game takes the CSGO gunplay and breathes new life into it. The animations are satisfying, graphics and design beautiful. It is recently out of BETA as of early Juneish and I will say there are still some bugs here and there albeit minor for the most part. However the DEVS and supportIve played a decent amount of csgo but was never a fan of the graphics or Valves lack of involvement. This game takes the CSGO gunplay and breathes new life into it.     For a f2p game its amazing. So far haven't experienced any cheating as far as I can tell but RIOT says they have people manually monitoring suspected cheaters on top of the automatic anticheat which they are constantly improving.

    The most promising aspect of this game for me so far is the teams commitment to squashing cheaters and balancing the game to maximize both fun and competitive integrity. if you haven't yet definitely give it a try.    … Expand

    A revitalizing take on the CS formula. I had a lot of fun playing this for the past few days. So easy to jump into. Really loving this game and I look forward to playing it in the future.

    Great game, definitely a big CS:GO rival. The only issues are : weird matchmaking, a lot of AFK's and no option for bot player like in CS and no rankeds so far and a lot of trolls due to that. Otherwise game is great, did everything CS:GO should have done few years ago and I hope they will keep working on the game to beat CS:GO in the final :)

The War3 mod was interesting because everyone knew the map & weapons, so it ADD something to an EXISTING thing. VALORANT is quite a mess at the begining, but then it's ok. But I doubt with 4 maps and no community map that this game will go far with CS players playingRemember CS 1.6 and Warcraft 3 mod ? That's barely what this game is about.     The game is very similar to one of the lots of license banned Chinese clones of a modern shooters. The graphics is awful. Gunplay is mediocre. Overall gameplay is boring. 6 - quite an honest for the game.

    A faSciNatInG Game, 5 vs 5 multiplayer Fps Game ..Solid and definitely has an audience. There could be some hard-to-ignore faults, but the experience is fun.

    Even my **** laptop can run at 30-40fps the frame rate which is playable for some people
    I'm just a normal player from R6 Siege and CS GO. Honestly, Valorant make me feels difference between these game.     Bad graphic, stolen gameplay presets from cs:go (same guns, same game mech). High tickrate but gamedevs does not use it, game too slow. Maps have a lot corridors, look like some old mp f2p shooter. Seen some cheaters. So this is not a game by big dev company, i really dont know why Riot release something like that

    The game is amazing, it brings me back to the good ol' CS1.6 Days. Guns are snappy, characters are easy to see and the community has been great so far. Don't believe in the fake negative reviews. CSGO and Overwatch players are worried because the new kid on the block is about to steal their thunder.

    Even though people are devided about the graphics I love them. The game is a lot like csgo but at the same time not at all. Its way easier and more forgiving.
    What i really like about valorant are the frequent updates and communication between players and devs. The game is not perfect but what did you expect, its a brand new game.     But by far the biggest con is the the horrendously intrusive anti-cheat. I get why they are using it but it if you are using a kernel anti-cheat it has to be effective, but it just isn't.

Some agents are stupidly overpowered and can hardly be countered. Some also have to be unlocked for a reason to keep playing the game.     Los gráficos realmente son ahí nomas, pero eso a la vez es un plus, ya que permite a cualquiera poder disfrutar del juego, la experiencia de juego me parece genial, comparado a comunidades como la de lol o cs:go, por lo general te pillas gente que quiere ganar y hace lo posible en vez de triolear y putear por estupideces.     The game is cool. 70% of the CSGO and 30% of the overwatch match perfectly. But sometimes it seems that the game is capable of more and as if a little more microtransactions than necessary. I do not like cartoon style, but here it is not felt. In general, I like the game.

    the graphic it ok because of that my pc can handle the game but there still some lag,the game play it kinda similar to csgo and some of the shoting game but there is some problem the hitbox it kinda annoying and when the game start you had to play to the end

But it wasn't consistent enough to keep me hooked. You feel like a slug and the maps aren't anything to brag about either and it doesn't help that there are so few of them.     Played during the beta when things were clunky and kinda buggy . but had a lot of fun and playing through the polished version is a great step up in quality. Gun play feels like CS:GO but has its own charm with the added randomness so you cant just memorize spray patterns to have 100% accuracy.

    Actually a really fun game for me personally. Yes the graphics are unpolished, yes the gameplay isn’t something really new and innovative. At the end of the day however it gives me joy playing it.

    Its a fun game to play with friends and with a good competitive component, i really like the slower approach to this genre. I dislike the randomness of longer sprays and the bugs that still happen after full release

    Although the game is not perfect, it's a free game that's fun to play with friends, it's main focus is teamwork, strategy, economy, and good old FPS shooting. I would recommend this game to anyone from a brand new player to an experienced vet!

The new agent Reyna rewards an aggressive playstyle and suits fast paced combat allowing you to take any fight a not get traded by going invulnerable for a few seconds but with a passive playstyle like so many player seem to feel is necessary her kit becomes fairly useless. Tactical play Is a corner stone of a competitive game but when you add in randomness such as moving innaccuracy no matter what you do it's possible to win. My only downsides so far are the lack of spray patterns meaning players can't master the recoil allowing for what are some of my favourite plays possible in FPS games, spray patterns would be extra welcome when shooting with a combat stim do you can actually spray effectively at range with some situations actually making it harder to kill enemies particularly with Reyna's ult at longer ranges. As well as this there is a lack of ffa/aim training meaning new players will find it harder to Improve and veteran players can't master the game at the same level. I'm focusing purely on gameplay in this review as the skins are definitely overpriced and feel chunky/off (except the reaver collection that was done right!)… Expand

    ABOUT THE 0/10 REVIEWS:
    Most people complain about this game not being what they want it to be, instead of judging the game for what it is. For instance, some people complain about the fact that Valorant is taking features and ideas from both CSGO & Overwatch, without "adding something new to the table". I think this is a horrible reason to give a game 0/10 since many great games take ideas from previous games and make something unique out of it. It is in my opinion that a game can be excellent without innovating the video game industry and Valorant is a good example of this.

    GAMEPLAY:
    I enjoy the fact that the modes available at launch respect the players time. There is the regular, more competitive mode as well as a shorter mode for when you don't have much time ahead of you. For those of you who don't know by know, Valorant's gameplay is a fusion between CSGO tactical shooter and Overwatch abilities. Overall, the game is closer to CSGO because of the mode, guns, economy, etc. Also, the abilities in Valorant are, in general, support abilities only (with a few exceptions). The gunplay feels snappy and responsive and each gun offers a different experience in terms of recoil, spread, sound, reload animation. It's great, maybe above-average, but not revolutionary.

    GRAPHICS:
    This aspect of the game is one where low score reviews have a good point. The graphics of the game are nothing to be impressed by 2020's standards. I understand that Riot Games prioritized performance, ease of access and optimization over graphic fidelity, and who knows, maybe it will affect their bottom line positively since even people with low-end PC's can play the game, but at the end of the day, if these outdated graphics push you away, I wouldn't blame you.

    LORE:
    Knowing Riot Games, I expect them to expand on the lore over time. So far, they did a great job at providing a wide variety of agents and they all feel distinct. I'm not someone who absolutely needs "representation" in a video game, but the way they have been introducing the characters so far feels very organic and I can appreciate that.

    SOUNDS:
    Nothing much to mention here. The main theme feels modern, not too discrete but not too busy either. The gun sounds feel appropiate, but again, nothing revolutionary here.

    CONNECTIVITY:
    I did not encounter any connectivity or ping issue so far. It is worth noting that I'm happy about this because it is not rare to see new games with hiccups.

    SKINS AND OTHER BUYABLE STUFF:
    I think Riot Games needs to work, or keep working, on providing skins and content that will appeal to a wide variety of players, not only the players that are rich. I understand that lots of work go into creating unique guns and cosmetics, but at the end of the day, if Riot Games monetization only depends on the 1% "whales" (ultra-rich players with addiction), the vast majority of the players will be unhappy with the costs.    … Expand

    I really enjoy the game and the subtle details they put into it, for example, the parkour addition to the training map was unexpected but welcoming. Servers are stable and I haven't had issues in the 30+ games I've played so far. All and all I love it. Skins to overpriced thou.

    The game is really a fresh new take on the tactical fps genre. The weapon are solid and the characters are well designed, maps are ok and the game turns out to be really addicting. The only concern is about Vanguard which should not be running 24/7 as you boot up your pc but only when the game launches.

    Now on to the failings of VAL as a competitive game: the netcode is trash. 128 bitrate doesn't change anything and it's not noticeable, except when I start lagging in the same situation where on other games id be fine. The maps are actually garbage. Labyrinths with 100 different way to go, as well as completely unrecognisable sections of the maps. The shooting is good even if again so derivative. Abilities are either csgo utility (flashes, smokes, molotovs) or from ow, both games that actually tried to bring a new playstyle on the market. The audio is not as good as in tf2 (a game from 13 years ago) and the graphics too are like team fortress: trash, for a game that came out in 2020. The thing is that my PC is not good, so I would have to be happy about the graphics, cuz at least I can play, but the game has shown really inconsistent performance. The interactions between abilities and environment are much simpler than in csgo, which makes it so there only so much you can improve in that direction. Also, there are features that were included because they are present in csgo, but don't work here. Wallbanging, for example, is really strong and easy to abuse, in a game where you have more than 1 ability that allows you to see through walls.

    The only things that the game succeeds at are:
    Shooting and movement - of course is the same as csgo
    Abilities and skill cap in using them - of course is the same as ow
    Small little quality of life improvement over csgo - of course they have been called for for years and if you build a new engine ur gonna include them.

    Overall the game works. For such a derivative game with such little ambition (the only ambition is to appeal to hardcore competitive players), I can't give more than 8. For a game that has still many flaws and has launched with big technical problems, on top of having bad maps, bad audio, bad netcode and flat interaction (all scripted and clean, not much possibility for expression) I can't give more than 7. Not lower because the game still succeeds at appealing to half of its intended audience. Not all competitive hardcore players, but only the ones that already loved csgo.    … Expand

    To my surprise, a very fun game that most of the time feels smooth and engaging! Manages to bring something fresh even for people like me who didn't enjoy CS :) I love that the game runs well in older PCs.
    The launch had some problems and there is a certain feel of "unfinished" in it. However, I trust and expect this game to grow up to be better!

The layout is basic because 4 square layouts work in 5v5 comp games such as this game and counterstike, Having too many small narrow passageways would just make the game so boring and dull to play. 2. There are loads of corners and angles to check because THE ABILITIES ARE DESIGNED FOR THAT. Finally, i've seen many people complain about how the graphics are really bad and on par with mobile games. 1. Ive never seen a mobile game look that good. 2. THE GRAPHICS WERE DESIGNED TO BE TONED DOWN TO ALLOW PEOPLE WITH WORSE PC'S TO ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO PLAY THE GAME. The only negatives for me is the vanguard anti cheat which apparently does stuff to your PC but to be honest i don't really care. 9/10 very fun to play with friends and overall a refreshing experience.     The only feature holding the game back from being a 10 for me is the monetization. The game features a Battle Pass based on XP earned in game and an in-game shop. The Battle Pass is a great value with varied and frequent rewards for only $10. The shop features a weekly featured skin collection and 4 daily rotating offers. The guns themselves are a bit on the expensive side, but this becomes brutally apparent with the collections. As of writing, the Prime collection the game launched with is around $70. There are freebies in the bundle, but each gun is around $10-$20 and the knives were anywhere between $20-$35. Fixing the shop would make this game a 10/10 for me.    … Expand

It just released so there are a few bugs that the dev team are working on but honestly they have had great communication and transparency through everything!     Главный минус:
    "Мало контента"
    - 4 карты, которые даже выбрать нельзя, иногда 6 раз на одной и той же играешь.
    - Нет death match серверов и т.п.
    - Дисбаланс в подборе рейтинговых игр, мне в бронзу закидывало платину, и не раз.
    - Есть технические недоработки, у кого с пингом проблемы, у кого-то с антивирусом, у кого-то фпс проседает, но поддержка всегда пытается помочь,если возникают такие проблемы.
    ВЕРДИКТ: Игра на твердую семерку, все минусы я уверен будут пофикшены в будущем , но для ФРИ ТУ ПЛЕЙ, напоминаю ФРИ ТУ ПЛЕЙ проекта, очень годно даже сейчас.    … Expand

    Yes, Valorant has a few issues, but it is actually an amazing game. Most of the issues in my opinion is mainly because of how new it is. Most of the haters on here are mainly toxic and are trying to ruin this game. I say the best advice is to just download the game and try it yourself, since it is free.

    It's exactly what i thought it would be, a thought as nails, csgo like shooter, with less focus on abilities akin to apex legends, and an insanely high skill ceiling. I am not a csgo player, nor am i good at shooters in general, but i can appreciate the game for what it is and continue to play for a long time.     I played this game from Beta. I'm not a CS:GO fan but I play some games of CS and fell really hardcore. Valorant is different it easier. The game does have some issues and bugs. But the dev team always listen and satisfied gamer need.

    This game is very good. It is a tactical shooter that spices things up by adding abilities into the space. None of the characters are extremely overpowered which is a problem with most games that introduce characters,agents,etc. Most of these negative reviews are just csgo players who hate that riot has made a game that is going to compete with the game they like for many years to come.This game is very good.     Some of the most fun I've had in a game in a long time. IMO the graphics/ gameplay are better than CSGO and I get the sense that people are sort of just bitter that CS has a competitor now. Some small improvements still needed but given that its the first week its great.

    This game is excellent. There are very few faults to Valorant and it's definitely a strong 10. I was lucky enough to test it during beta and now playing the game live, it's still awesome. It has the competitiveness that a hardcore shooter needs, but it also allows for a lot more plays than just your regular running and gunning.

    Valorant's gun mechanics are very similar to CS:GO. Valorant has different agents all having different abilities (toned down overwatch abilities). I was fortunate to be able to play it during the beta to get a feel for it before the official launch and i would say this is the most fun game i have played in the past few months. They were eager and keen to do so, so wether it is or isnt in a polished state, please give them a break, they tried their best. They did not believe they would get it done til late summer or after COVID and they brought it out months early, they're legends if you ask me. Just a moment of context, i hate League so i dont worship Riot. People also believe they ripped off both overwatch and CS:GO. 1 Overwatch is too ability dependent and in Val abilities are more like ultility in CSGO, so hardly close to Overwatch in the games combat mechancics. 2 CSGO was Valves Unloved child. The one where the SG was allowed to roam free with its straightforward spray and 100% accuracy on nearly every tap. So, with those things considered, this game being considered as a CSGO killer, well...... I believe it has potential. The aiming and movement is very skill based, a jett could pop her ult and still get shut down by a PUB stomper. So, as a game, and the mechanics which are engraved into it's foundations. The game is fantastic, I love the attention to detail, like the minimalistic graphics, as said by the devs themselves, they chose that route to reduce confusion with models blending into terrain etc, which is why sprays disappear after a certain amount of time and why most walls lack detail. If you aim to play this game competetively, that is a feature you will worship, if this game style was on triple A graphics, it would only disperse confusion and lead to a more tiliting experience. I imagie most of those complaining are either loyal CS fans, or from else where, those who play CS and understand its faults will appreciate Valorant. Simplistic animations, no-one can complain because in cs if you had high movement animations you were scuicidal. So lets move on. The Esports scene in my opinion is setup for a new generation or the current youth, the cartoon style is to appeal to youth, rather than looking like an aged game. So all you oldies out there can stop reading thank you. Finally, something which few Devs can stand behind, experience in te game and dedication of time for the future. Devs promised years of life in Valorant, and i imagine the game engine will evolve as Unreal engine does too! One dev, Volcano, an Ex cs player and creator of Cache, litereally puts heavy hours into the game as passion rather than job, he and another 4, destroyed big streamers shroud summit etc in a 5v5. So, Valorant. Overall a quality upgrade from CS but more commercialised and appealing to mainstream titles, setup for a large Esports scene and constantly looking for balance.     Valorant is the best game ive played so far. Its a great recreation of csgo which in itself was a great game also.

    Really cool game, in my opinion much better than CS:GO in many aspects. I love it and would recommend it to anyone who looks for really competetive FPS. I also cannot say Its CSGO clone because it has too many diffrent things and the games do not feel the same at all.

    Valorant is a polished tactical shooter that simplifies and streamlines CS:GO's mechanics with the personality and uniqueness of Overwatch's characters. The game is polished, smooth, the sound design is perfect and the guns are well balanced. the game has flaws like the anti-cheat and the training range but it's a really fun game if you are willing to learn it

    Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
