    Valorant is an amazing game, it is a great 5v5 fps game. It is an upgraded CSGO with precise gunplay. This game is very entertaining and has Esport tournament, there are any well known orgs that compete. It is an extremely good game to play with friends with a great party system. I recommend this game to all users especially ones from Overwatch or CSGO looking for a similar feeling gameValorant is an amazing game, it is a great 5v5 fps game.     Awesome game

    Its basically csgo mixed with overwatch without hackers and has so many cute anime girls with cool personalities I have only came across 3 wallhackers and 6 triggerbotters maybe 5 aimbotters ever in about 1000 hours! Most people are average skill so if your good at cs you will do above average atleast The skills arent overpowered everyone can die in a headshot and the    Awesome game

    All they had to do is keep frags where they are but add some cool abilities,yet they they didnt even bother to do something creative and just filled the spots with basic things instead and also locked the normal usage for them
    Weapons are exact same,just reskins in high-tech,but the funny point is that they are LESS balanced in their sprays and how they feel
    Pacing is worse,its too slow and relies too much on your positioning or reaction,staggers from getting shot in this game feel even worse then in alternatives, basically freezing you in place from even smallest caliber weapons,who TF thought this was a good idea making it not possible to dodge?this literally makes it in to camping game unless someone has a flash or smoke
    and so it wouldnt be boring to watch in pro-scene they cut down the rounds,which is like okey sure,if it was the only problem

    splitting different regions in completely different serves not letting people from US and RU play together.....no,def a pass on this as well
    Oh and yeah if you happen to live quite far from server hosts you can go f@ck yourself bcs noone cares to make a good cover with a good netcode, i have no more then 10-20 ping in CS,yet this **** manages to skyrocket my ping up to 70-120,and when you play against full party of 5-10 ping players this is just unplayable

    The ONLY good part about all of this is that we MIGHT get a better iteration of this later so CS wouldnt be the only choice for competitive shooters,but i doubt valorant will every get to that point remaning the **** side-kick this deserves to be    … Expand

It is a special ability that players need to buy or gain kills to be able to do it.
    Valorant runs pretty smooth on many computers. It does not require the hardware that other games need. This makes it easy for older computers to play it and allows the game to grow. Another upside to Valorant is the developers. They interact with players on twitter and inform them on any changes, what they can look forward too, and answer questions if people have them. Valorant is not going to be the easiest game to get into at first as it is a big change for many gamers. Luckily, Riot has 4 game modes out already! For quick and fun games, players can hop into Spike Rush. Spike Rush is a best of 7 game mode that takes around 15 minutes. Another mode for players is deathmatch. This is the common game mode for many games. Players load in and try to get as many kills as possible. The third game mode is Unrated. To win this game mode, a team needs to win 13 rounds. These games can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 60 minutes depending on how many rounds go by. The most popular game mode is Competitive. it is exactly like Unrated, however in this game mode, you have the ability to rank up. Ranks go from iron to Valorant. The top players are in Valorant while the new players end up in Iron, usually. Winning games and playing well is how you climb the ranks.

    Content within Valorant tells the world of the future. When the world encounters a phenomenon recorded as the First Light, which affects all over the world. The result is that human technology has evolved at a significant time. The governments and governments of the countries of the world have changed. At the same time, some humans show unusual abilities. These humans with special abilities were called Radiant. To combat the First Light incident, a secret organization called the Valorant Protocol, has brought together talented Agents from around the world.
    Valorant is a strategic shooter. Which if it is to be compared directly and this game is like a hybrid game Counter Strike: GO and Overwatch, the gameplay will be a 5 vs 5 battle between 2 players. In that play, the players will be divided into two sides. Raiders and Defense With the aim of attacking or defending the detonation point. The unique feature of Valorant is the Agent or characters in the game. Which has a different ability to be clear.
    For the rules in the game at the start, players will be able to choose from a total character that are currently available. Assemble a team of 5 people to switch sides, raid and prevent the bombing. In which the person who has won the full 13 rounds will be the party to be victorious. Each round, players will spend their money collected during play to buy firearms, armor and accessories. Firearms are divided into several types, including pistols, light machine guns, shotguns, rifles. The accessories are another feature that Valorant is different from other games. The characters in this game will have different accessories and abilities. The Agents will be divided into 4 groups: Initiator focuses on making the game open a way for teams to attack with abilities such as Stun or Flash, Controller jump. Known for controlling the map by slowing down enemies and building walls, Sentinel, an expert in defense and exploration, as well as setting traps and duelists with dueling abilities focuses on direct combat.
    Even now, Valorant might not be perfect.     The game focuses on the attackers to plant the spike (bomb) to one of several designated bombsites on the map where the defenders would be holding the site not allowing the attackers plant it. The first team to win 13 rounds comes out as the winners, and in case the score is evened the match would go into overtime and there would be 2 extra rounds. Even if the points get evened out during OT there will be an option to either draw the game or continue the OT.
    The feature that makes this game stand out from rest of the 5v5 shooter games are the abilities of the characters (agents) in the game. There are 4 types of agents in the game – Duelists are the ones who push forward into conflicts with the enemy team. Think of them as attackers. Initiators focus on gathering intel and help the team push. Sentinels are defenders, usually playing the back line of a team. Controllers are good at blocking off sight lines and generally offer support to the team
    Each character gets an ability they can use for free each round. The two other non-ultimate abilities must be purchased at the gun shop during the buy phase like you would a grenade in Counterstrike. This means that they have finite uses meaning that players should use them conservatively. Abilities cannot be spammed on cooldown like you can in Overwatch. Lastly to cast an ultimate, you need a certain amount of skillpoints. Skill points can be grabbed around the map (gives one to all team members), earned through kills (1 kill = 1 point), or passively with each round.
    The Valorant tutorial does a good job of helping you understand the basics of the game. It also helps you to alter your mouse sensitivity, and get a feel for the basic controls. First you can run fastest with a knife in your hand. So, when you’re moving or rotating in a safe area try to always pull your knife out. Another plus point is that various weapons also have different movement speeds. SMGs and Sidearms, except for the Shorty and Sheriff, are the next fastest after the knife. The Shorty and Sheriff come next, along with the Rifles and Shotguns. Finally, the Heavies and Snipers are the slowest. You are shots are less accurate while running and gunning in long range. But the time it takes for you to reach 100% accuracy once you stop moving is quick. Although running and gunning with SMGs might be handy as it is better in close range and accuracy is better than rifles while running. While running you make a lot of noise. Enemies can hear you coming from a long way off. When you’re trying to hide information about your movement, you need to walk. Valorant has bullet penetration, so your shots can kill enemies through some materials. And some weapons are better and penetrating walls than others. Low-penetration weapons can only shoot through wooden objects. Medium-penetration weapons can shoot through wood and stone objects. And only high-penetration weapons can shoot through metal objects. Some objects in the game are just impenetrable.
    Valorant’s interface has a lot options that can be controlled according to the user’s wish. For example, the you can set different key binds for each control that best suits your muscle memory, valorant has 3 different graphic settings, for user who wants the max fps they can go with low settings and those who cares only about the graphics can go with high graphics. The sensitivity of the mouse can be adjusted too. The controls are pretty easy to learn, it took me 3 matches to get familiar with the controls and plus the game requires you to win 10 unranked matches to start the ranked matches, which helps the player a lot.
    The toughness of the game depends on the match making rating of the player. If the player has a high mmr then he would get queued with players of similar mmr or higher. The thing about the valorant I found annoying is the match making system which at times queues you with players of higher mmr in the opponents and low mmr players as your team mates. But Riot games is trying their best to fix it.

The game developer did their best to maintain balance of male and female agents so that there will no gender difference in the game and in my opinion, make the game more interesting through an additionalValorant is a team shooter game. This game is all about team work and patience’s. The game consists of 5 maps which are unique to each other. The developer tried their best to make every map balanced for both attackers and defenders even though map like split gives a small advantage to the defender side. The game offers different modes so that the players are kept entertained.

    The objective of this game is quite simple there are two teams (attackers and defenders) each consist of 5 members. The role of attackers is to plant the spike in the planting spot and also protect the spike from defusing by the defenders and the role of defenders is quite opposite to attackers. Whichever team wins the first 13 rounds wins the game.

    Valorant has 5 free characters and 5 that can be unlocked simply by playing through the game. Real-life currency can only impact appearances of weapons and animations. Riot tries very hard to ensure there is no paying for advantages. Each character has their own unique voice lines which are so nice and never get old and the characters represent a country which I really enjoy! The servers are very good for latency and the weapons are in a small amount so you don't need to remember that many. They also balanced each weapon very properly so that there would be no overpowered weapons. Its In-game sound effects makes us more interesting to play the game.

    This is one of those FTP games which doesn’t required high end specs to play the game which makes the game very approachable among all kinds of gamers. its graphic is quite clean with a cartoonish form look. Still the game has room for more improvement like game glitches where you are unable to see marking on the mini map, where you are not able to see the damage you have taken/given to opposite player. Such glitches force us to close the game and restart it. Other than that this game is very entertaining and I would suggest all of you to play this game

Valorant also provides Overwatch features such as ultimates and special abilities, which I was worried about when I first started, but, over time it was obvious that even a single bullet could decide the fate of the match. While agents like Sage and Skye may seem like a cheat as they can revive and heal, it still is well balanced because of the abilities of other characters.Valorant balances ultimates by making them cost points to use instead of putting them on a cooldown. You can gain these by dying, picking up and gathering nodes, and most importantly: killing opponents. To top it off, all of your abilities cost you points which are also needed to buy armor and shields, therefore you need to be wise in your expenditure during the games.. You will also need to learn how to micromanage the in-game economy.

    Top Picks Among Players
    My favourite agent in Valorant is "Reyna" because of her ability to heal and deal catastrophic amounts of damage to other team in a short span of time using her ultimate and abilities. However, it all comes with a price. If you don't get enough kills, you will have a lot of trouble managing your economy where you will be forced to play rounds with half buys or no buys.

    Play Styles and Environmental Awareness
    In valorant, you need to be aware of your surroundings at all times unless you want to be knifed from behind. Valorant has many ways to gather intel on opponents and more often than not, wins and losses are all about who can gather more information on the enemy. There are even agents who specialize in just gathering information i.e Cypher. Sound and visual cues are very important aspects of Valorant as they tell you if the enemy is rotating to different sites or will push for the same one.

    Pressure and Aim
    Valorant can be very stressful and frustrating at times, especially when you get headshotted every time you peek at an angle or if you can't aim at the target fast enough to deal damage. The different recoils and feel that you get with each gun takes a little time to get used to. And the debate between Phantom and Vandal, guns of similar damage, is never-ending. Even though both guns have special uses depending on the scenario. It only takes 1-2 shots in the head to kill the enemy, but you are dead wrong if you thought that the dead can't come back to life with Sage.

    Problems with Valorant

    Odin and Ares
    It might not be a big deal for some players who play casually, but sometimes it can be extremely frustrating if the enemy team starts to spam guns such as Odin which has 100 bullets and can deal damage even through a wall. Paired up with Sova, an agent who can reveal the enemy using his arrows, you can get at least 1-2 kills from Wallbang alone if you take the opposing team by surprise. Ares with 50 bullets and a cost of only 1600 points is a very good option for spamming because you can keep buying and spamming it even if you don't have a good economy.

    Pacing
    Valorant can feel quite slow paced if you came from a game such as CSGO.It takes a bit of time to adapt to it and it can affect you negatively if you were to switch back to CSGO from Valorant as CSGO will feel too fast in comparison.

    Skins and Cosmetics
    Skins. There is a lot of debate about whether skins affect the outcome of matches. Many players argue that a Prime Vandal can increase your kills by good margin and I personally feel it provides assistance when aiming at the heads of enemies, making it easier to play with skins than without. This makes me wonder if Valorant is a "pay to win", but some may argue otherwise.

    Final Words on game
    Valorant is a fantastic game. Although it can take a while to get into but, over time you’ll start to get the hang of it. However, knowledge about certain abilities and aspects are crucial for playing this game. This can easily be accomplished by finding information through the internet. Though at times, it seems as if it’s trying to combine Overwatch and CSGO into one to become “Valorant”.
    Valorant gave me an excellent experience as the concept of using abilities in a FPS game is really fun. The game is not entirely about gunplay but also having a strong strategic planning and efficient execution.
    Overall, Valorant provides fresh gaming experience while also honing real life skills such as strategic thinking and teamwork. I would recommend playing this game if you are someone who likes to try something new along with learning it.

    A really good FPS team multiplayer in the line of CSGO. The powers make it alot of fun. Does tent to have a super toxic player base from time to time but is a fun game regardless.

    The Developers are mistreating their players by issuing insanely long bans for little things like chat misuse. A friend of mine got a 14 day ban for the chat as well as ranked games because he misused the chat just like the enemy team did. You don't get a 14 day ban if you're constantly AFK, you don't get a 14 day ban for trolling and feeding but you do get one for misusing the chat. HeThe Developers are mistreating their players by issuing insanely long bans for little things like chat misuse. A friend of mine got a 14 day ban for the chat as well as ranked games because he misused the chat just like the enemy team did. You don't get a 14 day ban if you're constantly AFK, you don't get a 14 day ban for trolling and feeding but you do get one for misusing the chat. He reports people who are evidently cheaters and he never once received a message that said that the person whom he reported got banned. The Valorant support also lives a lot to desire, they are all nice but the truth is that they can't answer a simple question "why is my ban 14 days long?". This friend of mine messaged the Riot Support for VALORANT asking this question and in reply he got the usual, we need to protect young players, such behavior will not be tolerated, but he never received an answer to his question, "why is my ban 14 days long?". He himself admitted that he deserves a ban but a 3 day, max 7 day, ban would do the job. Also, they said, I quote, "...since the suspension is correctly placed, we are unable to modify or remove it." which again says a lot about the developer...… Expand

    I have been playing as a Valorant since early 2021. It excites me from the very beginning. The game has an interesting design. The details, graphics, characters, skills, and guns are all new to me. Everything is great and cool. Despite the fact that many aspects appear to be new, the game play is still similar when compared to other games I've experienced, such as CSGO.     The obvious attraction of the Valorant game, though, is the large number of "agents" to choose from. Each of these individuals has unique abilities and skills. The developers produced characters from a variety of countries. My favorite character to play is Raze, a Brazilian with exceptional attacking abilities. She has a lot of agility and so cool.

    The game contains an anti-cheat technology that allows the player to have a more enjoyable experience than with other games. And I'm going to discuss the competitive mode, which increases the difficulty and enjoyment of the game. Each player has a name of rank, which serves as a sign of the player's position. "Iron" is the lowest rank given to the new player, and "Radiant" is the highest. The rating system is working effectively. The team match, on the other hand, is not as well-balanced as it should be.

    On the part of the players To be honest, the community aspect of this game does not appeal to me. In practically every round and mode you play, you'll see other players misbehaving with your teammates. Those players will be identified as "Toxic players," which either indicates the developer hasn't addressed this issue thoroughly enough, or maybe there are too many of these players, hahaha. If you want to play this game, you need to be prepared to cope with pressure and toxic players who may frustrate you at any time during the game.

    Overall, I'd give this game a 8 out of 10 rating. It's a fantastic game to enjoy with your friends. It will be even more difficult and challenging if you play in competitive mode. If you're bored and looking for something to do with your free time, I recommend this game to you. :)    … Expand

    As a CSGO player with over 1k hrs this game is great love the cartoon style and is super fun with friends
    the problems with the game are that the game is toxic af you cant play cross region and some guns feel clunky but overall great game would recommend playing if you like completive fps games.

It's Riot games, don't have a lot of things to talk about them and their history (founded in 2006, 2007), both of their products are just cheap copies from other games (CS, Dota). After 3 years, this game still hasn't a Demo replay system, same as LoL(which finally has voice chat after 9 years).     The worst gun play on any FPS I have ever played. Atrocious game play, Clunky movements, unbalanced agents, MMR is a joke, you either stomp or get stomped, and maps are designed by 5 years old with several points to exploit when defending or attacking. The whole game feels like a complete and wonky toin coss. Especially with the randomized Spray Pattern. Stay away from this game.

It's ok when you have "balanced teams" (i.e. teams with no one actually hacking or cheating) and the score gets to 10 vs 11 -- but that is VERY VERY rare. Usually you're down by 7 games by the time sides switch -- you already know who's going to win. It's just prolonged agony -- especially when you call a surrender vote and one or more idiots refuse to surrender to the obvious. Do I recommend this game -- absolutely not.     Boring. Rush A or B. Plant/Defuse. Rinse and repeat but now you have skills. Can't even get past the half time mark without getting bored. The TTK is just plain bad. The first one who shoots wins. I am not a fan of tactical shooter games anyways so meh. Deathmatch is kinda fun but again the TTK of the game is trash so it dies fast too.

Fast forward a month, and I’m extremely happy to say that I’m completely sold on Valorant. It’s not the most innovative or original game on the market, but it’s an easy contender for my 2020 Game of the Year for its smooth, tactical co-op gameplay.
    Being a successful shooter in 2020 means competing with the growing, saturated market of Battle Royale games. Valorant knows what it is: its unabashedly a game that takes inspiration from Apex Legends, Overwatch and Counter Strike, and it’s not shy of being compared to its predecessors. It’s a perfect mix of games, and Riot Games are geniuses at this: League of Legends was heavily inspired from Dota (a mod originally from Warcraft III), and crafted into a polished, AAA game with addictive mechanics. Riot know how to make a damn good game, and a game that anyone can play. It’s free to play, with in-game purchases (skins). Just about any PC can run Valorant. The game performs like a dream, although the occasional FPS drops at the beginning of rounds can be slightly frustrating.
    Where Valorant really separates itself from other FPS games like Call of Duty or Overwatch, is that although players of any skill level can play or contribute to their team, Valorant is difficult. This is a key thing to know about Valorant. It has a high skill-cap which may not appeal to casual gamers or mon-fps fans. You can’t go into games and run-and-gun, the game can actually be quite stressful when your entire team is relying on you. Therefore, a good player will always be more beneficial to the team, and the better team will always win, which is where the fun really comes from. It rewards skill, which often multiplayer games ignore. Yet, Riot are aware of the difficulty and allow each of the 11 classes unique abilities that can aid the team. If you’re not a confident shooter, choosing Sova (the scouting class) is a solid option. Raze, one of the more offensive classes appeals to aggressive players, as all her abilities are offensive and are directed as causing high damage. I personally find some of the heroes slightly obnoxious in their delivery, yet the varied cast suit the game well and also appeal to younger audiences. The inclusion of class abilities in the “search and destroy” style game-mode, means the game is accessible to almost any gamer. There is also Spike Rush, which is a short, 10 minute game mode which provides a short, sweet version of the traditional game mode. It’s fun, but rarely provides the same level of satisfaction as the main game mode can.
    One of the biggest technical achievements within Valorant is how balanced and varied the abilities are, ranging from generic flashbangs and smoke to Reyna’s “Empress” ultimate which turns her into an unkillable machine, with increased fire-rate and reload speed, or Omen’s ultimate which hides the mini-map. The game’s balance is remarkable, and kudos to Riot for achieving it with such a whacky mix of heroes. Perhaps going forward the game could introduce new game modes, even potentially a battle royale mode. I imagine the skill-based gameplay would work quite well in a competitive BR mode version.
    The moment to moment gameplay is all about patience, and coordination. Playing this game with friends is therefore ideal, using voice comms allows players to assist each other in scenarios. Players are often rewarded for not rushing mindlessly, instead choosing their time to strike. One of the best parts of Valorant is how it truly feels like an e-sport, even in an un-ranked mode. Each round the players are given a fresh start, and with that comes new tactics, new ways to defend or attack. The game - on paper - should be repetitive, yet instead it’s highly addictive due to the desire to win, resulting in one of the most satisfying shooters I’ve played for years. You rarely feel cheated, unlike in Call Of Duty, where low health, coupled by overpowered killstreaks can provide a source of frustration. After coming from mindless multiplayer shooters, Valorant is a pleasant change of pace. It’s important for a game to be fun, above all else. After a long day at work, often gamers just seek 30 minutes of pleasure: games like Red Dead Redemption 2, although impressive and far more ambitious, often feel like chores, but Valorant is an easy game to pick up and play.    … Expand

I think it is a good game but it is still to be polished to refine the issue of abilities, some characters are very very unbalanced and others have abilities that are too lethal, apart from all that it has a very very serious failure, the bullets many of the times are not registered on impact for example in the head you on your pc clearly see a bullet in the head and the server does not register or you hit the chest and register in the legs, another thing is the rank system is rubbish, it needs a radical change and much clearer it is not known what goes up and what makes you lower the elo, everything else in terms of performance etc ... is going well… Expand

    Moreover I'd like to say how badly lazy the game is. This is a game came out in 2020. So I'd expect to see some form of updated visuals. Even though it has cartoony graphics like Fortnite I'd still say they could have done more to make it immersing. Just think of how many times you've seen a graphical glitch and thought "hmm, maybe they should fix that in next update". And speaking of updates, their update mostly focuses on new contents or skins. It feels like they put more of their resources on skins than polishing the game. Valorant sucks on detailed visuals, has many pesky bugs, and broken queue ban timer which never got addressed even as I write this masterpiece. Riot just only focused on making the game more precise. [Also in game lore is dismissible. Definitely not Overwatch]

    "Free to play" should not be an excuse for Valorant to be a mobile quality game. And certainly Valorant should not be seen as a great game when it sets the bar too low.    … Expand

    This game is lost. It seems to think it's more of a clever and well thought out shooter without ironing out any of it's issues. It's got the wrong kind of people behind the wheel shoving terrible content and generating skins for the masses to constantly buy.

    I finally had enough after I got comms banned for laughing at someone. They decided to come at me after I asked for a smoke. One simple question and it blew up into them being really toxic. I made a couple of jokes that weren't in bad taste and I ended up getting comms banned. Fast forward not even a day and I get in a few games with players clearly cheating. I report them, nothing happens. This is the issue Riot has on it's hands that they seem to not care about. The community is so fixated on this idea that Vanguard is stopping cheaters when in reality it's doing nothing but stopping the obvious free cheats.

    What the community fails to understand is that the game is built on Open Engine. A free software which anyone can use and exploit, as Epic Games have realised. The one key difference between Epic Games and Riot is that Riot decide to rely on this false advertising that their anti-cheat is amazing instead of being proactive and going after cheat makers like Epic Games did.

    People can critisize me and many others saying this, but the game is full of them. I even played a game with a spin botter and he openly used it in my game. One of my teammates didn't think he was cheating when he killed 4 people while spinning inside a smoke. This is the community that has been created within Valorant. It's soft, it's loud, it's not an enjoyable community to be a part of. Their own reddit is policed like it's 1984. You can't mention certain things as it will upset the player base. I'm done with it.

А в том же Rainbow Six Siedge не самый динамичный геймплей компенсируют тактические возможности оперативников и интерактивное окружение.

    This game could be good but it is not because of riots laziness, the skins cost two AAA games worth of money and it is unbearable how many people are cheating even with this stupid vanguard in place.... Only play if you are in a full team otherwise it is really boring.

    Valorant really does not stand out with other FPS games in the same category, while it was released later that the gameplay and systems are not too special to be a game icon. Slow, boring, smooth but somehow bulky, guns feel eye-catching are words to describe Valorant.

    Valorant è l'apoteosi dei giochi fatti male, se non avete una connessione a terabit non provateci nemmeno, costante packet loss da 15 a 50%, in un gioco competitivo non possono succedere queste cose, prima di farli uscire i giochi bisogna che li fate come devono essere fatti, consiglio vivamente a chi vuole provare il genere counter strike finchè non metteranno a posto valorant.

They want it to replicate a mixture of a cs map and lol map but it just doesn't work. The bugs, (the few that there are) can be gamebreaking. For example I got a bug where I had no UI, aka, no map, no ammo count, no ability UI, no health bar, so I constantly had to reload after every kill and had to play purely off of sound. This game right now, I just cannot simply recommend, especially since it seems like they are more focused on skins then improving the actual game. In addition, Riot's support is a joke. This can be the 'CS and OW killer' if they simply put in more effort. The only reason why I can say to play this game is that it is free to play and currently does not have that many cheaters even if the hackers are figuring out ways to get around the intrusive anti-cheat that I'm still worried about since it is a Chinese owned company that is using this anti-cheat.
    Edit: I have come back to this rating because of the announcement of the elderflame skin set. Further proving my point that riot cares less about the game and its player base but more for the pro-scene and skins. The exact thing that is killing overwatch right now    … Expand

    Lets put it this way, if you dont really care about bad teamates which you will find by the bunch is a fun game. game is not that good or bad. Con: riot used a kernel (VANGUARD) with the intend of no hackers. There are still hackers so if you dont wanna have the slightest chance that tencent is selling your info dont download it. Meh: Game could really use some balance. Pros: game really rewards skill, its still lets skillful than csgo since utility is far more precise without the requiere of hard setups, Ex: csgo requiere you to calculate strength angle and position of throwing a molotov, if you play brimstone you can point and click a huge smoke with insane range. Con: The biggest Con of this game is honestly poor management, Riot rushed the release god knows why after a really short period of beta, all bugs are far from fixed, there are really insane bugs like standing on the top of the map, weird camera and dron glitches that lets you see though the map etc. But the WORST of everything are the servers, im a player from LATAM, servers are super super unreliable, game is playable if it decides its playable basically. If you play in Lan you might get sent to the server from LAS spiking you 200ms for no reason. Server kicks you out if you have a bad connection, not if your internet is bad, it disconnects you because its decides you get the bad connection of the match. You can get send to LAS even if you are from the top of LAN even on shooting range at random since you can literally go in a practice math aka shooting range you get 240ms, leave and try again 150 ms, lets try again 80ms, oh now I can play, enters unrated match 215ms and you know you are on the wrong server when you use a VPN lets say to the US/Mexico since LAN sided server is there and you get 30 less ping, but on the matches when you for no reason have 200+ms than you should you VPN to Chile and voila you get 50ms less even when you should never really be playing so far from your normal server. Lets not even mention that on first day of release everyone was waiting to play but the servers where so far from good they just kicked you from the match (on every server) because they werent ready. Also from experience the game yous decides you will have lag this match, I have the exactly same plan from the same internet provider as from the friends I play with, we all play games at 80 ms to 100ms (CSGO, League, OW, Cod etc) and here sometimes I have 250ms when they get 80, sometimes is another friend, sometimes is 2 of us or sometimes we get that and get sent to another server for 300+ms making you wish you were dead since you literally just came out of a spike rush game to test ping and you had 80 so you decide to go to unrated and suddenly you 5 get 300ms and the entire enemy team has 20 to 50 and your are stuck there for 50min with no way to surrender and definetly cant win since it is a tactal shooter and duels are decided on who peaks or who gets the first headshot, which can be donde as fast as you see someone if you are good but your bullets are getting registered in the server 100 times slower than the enemy. Game was definitely rush out for some reason be it the fear of it losing hype, the need for money to come in now or just they didnt care. As for any other region I dont know how stable your severs are but LATAM are really bad, 1 week after release and they are still trying to fix connectivity issues. If you hate spaghetti coding (as you have experienced from league) this is no different. Ex: you know you can wall bang people, its a common feature in most shooters, but did you know in VALORANT you can wall bang ANY wall no matter how thick it is or your weapon IF you hit their hands. you cannot wallbang to any other body part just hands this way, why you ask? well welcome to riot games coding. Game is and will continue to be infested with bugs and they fix the most game breaking ones but sometimes they can even do so (looking at you Invisible nunu bug in league). I swear that if riot balance and programming teams where as half as good as their design/graphic design team this game would be an 8 or 9 but no that will never happen with riot games.    … Expand

    The AIM is the other important point, coming from a shooter like the CSGO that forces you to learn the pattern of weapons or the penalty with movement and the famous PreAIM, in Valorant we find that weapons do not have a unique pattern anymore that it changes constantly or rather is random which makes it difficult to learn or the other points mentioned above.    … Expand

    I was excited for Valorant. It was a highly anticipated game. However there are just far too many shortfalls for this game to be considered worthy of your time. We can pardon a few of them considering it's fresh new game from a studio known for one of the most salty MOBA available to the commoner. For example the finickiness of the servers. Another pardonable miss step is the balance. Now onto the spicy stuff.
    Peaker's advantage
    I have played a few FPS games (CSGO, R6S, OverWatch among the multiplayer ones), however I have never experienced such unfairness when it comes to peaking. It feels disgusting to peak and even worse to get peaked. You just know that the other player couldn't even react to your elegant one tap. This combined with one of the lowest TTKs I have experienced makes for a knife's edge feeling when playing but you're just always on the wrong side. I do like 128 tick servers but you never get the full of them since you just die by a peak most of the time.
    Map angles
    This might be a personal preference but I really don't like the maps' design of Valorant. The bottlenecks feel really chok-ey, the open angles are too revealing and structure of the plant sites doesn't feel right. Also is it just me or some places just feel like reskins of CSGO's maps?
    Agents
    Hanzo reskin, for real? I mean the agents themselves are not terrible (though some abilities like Raze's grenade or whole of Reyna might need some tweaking). I like ebb and flow of some agents, Omen has a great out-play potential, Breach is good at breaching and so on. Nevertheless it still feels a bit stiff and robotical. Also what I'm really disappointed about is seeing a Hanzo reskin, for how many opportunities you had to create something original this just feels like lazy design.
    Last but not least, player skill balance
    I admit, it is a game that's straight out of the oven. But man I'm getting bored of the system's overestimation of my skill. 8 losses in a row (6 total stomps and 2 very close games) doesn't really encourage me to play further. There was a 3 win streak...once. I have to confess my gaming skill isn't perfect yet I don't think that constantly loosing is what's in my capabilities.
    Bonus facts
    Winning isn't satisfying and loosing tilts af. Getting killed will make you feel powerless and killing doesn't give you any emotions. All guns look the same and feel the same within each class. Tryharding doesn't feel rewarding.

    To conclude, try it out but don't get too tilted. You might find fun where all I saw was tilt. Just don't waste your time with trying to make it work when you can't.    … Expand

    To lend credit to my review I have played thousands of hours of CS, either Source back in the day, or GO today. I also have hundreds of hours on Overwatch, and have played a plethora of different FPS titles on the Steam platform.

    Overall: Valorant, though not at all the FPS killer it advertised is a generally fun game that any FPS fan you should try. The Good: The pace of the matches    To lend credit to my review I have played thousands of hours of CS, either Source back in the day, or GO today. I also have hundreds of hours on Overwatch, and have played a plethora of different FPS titles on the Steam platform.

    Overall: Valorant, though not at all the FPS killer it advertised is a generally fun game that any FPS fan you should try.

    The Good: The pace of the matches and individual combat feel good though the delay on skill animations takes some time getting used to and their utility is often bottlenecked by this delay of animation. Characters are cool and unique. The aesthetic of the maps/agents/home menu is clean and modern.

    The Bad: The largest problem in my opinion are the maps... There are an insane number of corners to clear in every map and the tight chokes and corridors that they all are reduced to makes it feel like I am playing a worse version of "Inferno" from CSGO the entire time. The second complaint I have is the economy/guns; maybe it will be different in ranked but the guns all seem to similar for the price. I can dominate people with way better guns and skills with my little SMG if I am just a little bit lucky, but also if I don't buy armor I will get one-shotted in the chest by the cheap sniper rifle (basically the scout of Valorant if you play CS). It could definitely use some balancing of weapon damage/accurate range/price. My final complaint is despite the good things I have said about the aesthetic I am disappointed in the graphics clarity. I am running a beast GPU on 1440p resolution and diagonal lines, resolutions, and clarity of fine details look jagged and unpolished despite being on maximum settings, and that is simply unacceptable for a AAA title.    … Expand

    Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
