    The game is a combination of csgo and overwatch..,. And took the worst aspects of those games. The maps? Are absolute trash, I see that they tried something new but the format of the maps is burning trash. Too much of a rotate to mid and lack of rotate to bomb sites? This game is just utter trash

    Its boring as hell. Also it installs a rootkit as part of the anti cheat system. A mediocre game with some sketchy stuff.

    overhyped twitch stream marketings, overcopied, overacting anti-cheats, and horrible graphics.
    Some might say the gameplay itself is okay but not for me mate. Would rather play csgo, overwatch, R6, pubg. A good example of how not to make a game.

    As long as CS Go exists there's no real reason to play this game, its a poor attempt at a copy with laggy and clunky movement and gun play and graphics that look like something out of a free to play mobile game. The map design is also extremely simple, they all use the same gray, brown and beige colors and if you've played one then you've played them all.

    Not really fun. Only a few boring maps. Matches are a slog. Graphics are pretty bad. Games just drag along. Matchmaking is also pretty bad.

    As a fan of CS, I was looking forward to the breath of fresh air that Valorant would provide. I am afraid to say that the game in it's current state has very unbalanced agents and horrible maps. Not only that, the movement does not feel intuitive and your character is a very slow walker.     The graphics are ugly, I feel like I'm playing a game from the early 2000s. The game is so slow and not dynamic. In addition it is unbalanced. Lots of noise for not much. basiclly paladins with cs elements

    I seriously do not suggest you install Valorant, as its installer contains Riot's own anti-cheat solution which by design is RING ZERO. It then waltzes right into your computer's boot sequence and says **** you, let me protect you".

The agent selection, and their abilities makes the game feel like a **** copy of Overwatch. Tne abilities are easily exploitable, and the agents are not balanced at all. AND MAPS. OHH MAPS. THE MAPS LAYOUT IS DOG****. There is no sense of map control. Corridors and rooms dont serve apurpose other than rotating. They didnt allow the map to habe any angles to hold. IT FEELS LIKE RIOT LITERALLY GAVE THEIR INTERNS 3 WEEKS TO MAKE A GAME. IT IS NOT WELL THOUGHT OUT. Overall score imo 0/10… Expand

It also copies the AWP, pronounced OP by people, by having the operation, OP for short. However, instead of making it an agressive, clutch gun like in CSGO, it is a gun that simply works for holding angles and for the frustrating practice called "cod camping." For pete's sake, even both guns have a double scope zoom mechanic, they are the same core thing! The game also has abilities, which give people wall-hacks, making the game less skill based, and less fun for people in the receiving end of the ability, as nobody likes to get killed by someone who had an unfair advantage over them by knowing their exact location at a certain point. So, to sum this up, riot games created a game that copies and nerfs CSGO's guns, making it frustrating as there are points where the guns limit the potential of players, and it adds abilities that result in people dying in frustrating ways, making the game a bad copy of CSGO. Also, I need to add that the maps are terrible. They were made in collaboration with Volcano, the maker of the great CS map Cache, but instead of being great like the predecessor, the maps are messes of hallways and camping corners. They will never be iconic like Dust2, or mirage, and the game's young state is not an excuse, dust 2 and mirage were made extremely close to the release of the game and were WILDLY better than the messes we have now. Also the inability to use stretched resolutions is ludicrous and all I hear when I play is "it is over, you are dead!" shouted at me loudly every round. All in all, I hope the game fails for the crime it is doing, copying CSGO completely, while giving the game a gimmick, not an ORIGINAL spin. Being honest, the people that like the game for the shooting mechanics should not give Riot credit, as they have completely stolen it from Valve.… Expand

    This Game Can be an amazing game but there are many things that hold it back. Firstly the peekers advantage in this game is **** horrible. You are an disadvantage holding a common angle since a player can just wide peek you and just kill you before you see them. Just a all around unfinished game. Riot has forced their team to release this game as soon as possible which is just stupid. When your game has problems that the community complains about. You should fix it before releasing the final product. However i see plenty of potential in this game. The 1rst week of open beta i enjoyed this game so much. However the problems in this game has kept it from being an good game. I just want riot to listen to the community about these problems, so that they can fix it.… Expand

Кс го на релизе была полной парашой, с багами, лагами, кривым сетевым кодом и только в последние годы она более менее обрела вид. но мм до сих пор оставляет желать лучшего, если бы не фейсит так бы и играл в 1.6. Мне удалось одним из первых начать играть в бету и игра мне совсем не понравилось графика ( она была в разы хуже чем сейчас) медленное передвижение героя ( со временем привыкаешь) ужасные звуки, трешовые скины (жнец не счет), враги ставили хед шоты и ты даже не понимал этого, попадание в тело врага тоже не чувствовалось, еще многое другое о котором сейчас не вспомню, но я переосилил себя и привык к игре через неделю, и более менее она мне начинала нравится, перестал играть за 3 недели до закрытия серверов. День релиза, я зашел и меня повергло в шок, разрабы изменили игру до неузнаваемости, они действительно прислушивались к игрокам и меняли ее в лучшую сторону. То что было в начале збт и сейчас, это небо и земля ребята, за 2 месяца они исправили почти все косяки переработали графику, скины, звуки, попадания, и это не может не радовать. И так мои оценки

    Оценка кс го у меня тоже 8/10, но только из за фейсита, если бы не фейсит максимум 6/10 (работа разрабов там треш полный, только за все время существования кс го они наконец начали прислушиваться к игрокам, и то, потому что валорант вышел.
    Буду играть и следить за игрой, разрабы красавы, верю в них, и буду надеяться, что все будет в таком же духе и даже лучше    … Expand

    This game has a terrible system to assign regions, its done automatically on your first login without warning. So if you're using a VPN at that time then its guaranteed to screw up your account, you could also just be unlucky and the system can fail to recognize your region completely.     The game looks like a mobile game that was put on pc. no decent animations and plays very much like a mobile game. such a shame to be honest. If you want a better version of this then just get counterstrike or overwatch

    Enjoy paying 70$ for a skin pack, and then paying again to "evolve" those skins. If you like being ripped off and bending over for Vanguard to abuse your computer then this is your game.

Almost all abilities were stolen from the overwatch, and Agent SOVA, who uses a bow (like the overwatch’s hanzo, but at least shoots from it) just made me laugh, just to use the stolen soundA terrible game, nothing new, just the CSGO and the overwatch crossed, if you want interesting gameplay with the abilities of the characters, go to the overwatch, if you want to shoot, go to the CSGO.     Фри-ту-плей уже говорил мне что игра скорее всего ниже 3-4 баллов. Но когда я узнал что они скопировали кривую стрельбу из КС ГО прислушиваясь к киберспортсменам, и увидел что так называемые "Агенты" очень напоминают Героев из Овервотч, так еще и графика хуже ТФ2 и уж слишком мультяшная, я понял что игра    Очередная донатная помойка для школьников с слабыми компами с 256 МБ видеопамяти.
    Фри-ту-плей уже говорил мне что игра скорее всего ниже 3-4 баллов.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Been playing since beta started and I enjoy the art style and the overall feel of the game. In my opinion the game has fun and easy to learn but hard to master gameplay. I haven't had a hacker in one of my games and never felt like someone is fishy. Met a lot of chill and cool players from just playing the game and communicating in voice chat. Yes it does need a bit more work but it's a F2P that's not a play to win, so you lose nothing from trying it out and if not your thing you can just deleting it.… Expand

    The game feels like an unsuccessful clone of cs 1.6. Poor animation, maps, uninteresting characters and extremely sucker graphics with anti-cheat that blocks the computer. If it was a game not from RIOT, then no one would ever notice it.

It's a sensible high skill aiming system that makes you unable to just rush in and make things into a reaction time test.     But yet every moment I've played was a blast, even when I was flumoxed in my first games. Fun was being had. Having a hero style tactical shooter fixed one of the few gripes I had with CS, which was that though every match was slightly different, it didn't quite "feel" different, sometimes flashes work and the enemy is spraying at air. Sometimes through zany circumstances they manage to turn things around and get a miracle headshot or something, but either way, it's the same old flash.
    One could say that having only a few pizzazz filled moments makes them so good, but I think that more unique moments would help, and this system where not everyone can buy anything for their strat, making people work with limitations, makes every match that bit more unique.    … Expand

    Combines everything I love from CS and Character based gameplay. Loved that they modeled the movement after 1.6, which is still the beat iteration of CS

    Very fun game as a long-time Counter-Strike enthusiast. I like the pacing of this better and added utility of abilities. The game is very stream-lined and plays beautifully. Of course, there are some growing pains but you really can't beat this when it's offered up as free-to-play.

It's like going into a fish    Honestly, having read a good amount of the negative reviews I'm actually so incredibly tilted. 90% of the negative reviews can be summed up into a couple points:

    - The game is slow
    - Vanguard is bad
    - graphics are bad

    Why do you download a game that is clearly marketed as a 5vs5 tactical FPS game and then complain about the slow and tactile gameplay? It's like going into a fish restauarant knowing you don't like fish, to then after the meal leave a negative review to say how much you hate fish. It's just incredibly stupid. If you want a super fast paced FPS game, go play call of duty or overwatch.

    The game from the get go was supposed to be a highly competitive shooter which is why Riot Games decided to go with simplistic graphics to increase visibility. Why do you go into a shooter that is clearly marketed that way and expect the graphics to be like Battlefield or other shooters that clearly pay attention to the visuals.

    I feel like all the negative reviews are written by people who either barely played the game except for a few hours and are just trying to unload some of their salt because the game got hyped. Or people who CLEARLY did not research the game whatsoever and went in with expectations that can't be filled since they don't even like the genre of the game.

    The game has everything an exciting tactile FPS game needs. I do agree with a lot of the people saying that the game feels rushed, the game definitely needs some polishing and a bigger map pool. The character abilities still feel interesting, there is different types of characters that fit different playstyles so everyone should find one that they think is fun. Gun play feels really smooth, their issues with hit registration were fixed and the servers have been running great.

    Even on my 4+ year old PC the game runs with a good 200+ FPS.

    The higher ranked you get, the more intricate and difficult the game gets. Players know set ability spots, they rotate much faster, they mix things up instead of running to the same default position every round. The game feels A LOT more tactile once you get into mid diamond - immortal ranks.

    I'm not surprised people that don't care about competitive gameplay don't like a shooter clearly advertised to be a hardcore competitive FPS game. If you don't like the core gameplay, thats fair, then the game was clearly not for you but don't criticize the game for things the game clearly wanted to have.    … Expand

Monetization is also criticized, but guys just remember that Valorant is fully F2P, don't buy the skins if you find it expensive (juste remember CS isn't F2P for a long time and did offer very - very expensive skins...)

    The peoples of the CIS who respect cs underestimate the rating of the game for the simple reason that it is a “OVERWATCH” and you don’t care that the game is better developed than cs go? CS is 20 years old, and Valorant is only a few days old.

    I am really enjoying Valorant. Not sure why so many are giving such a low score. I understand that some people might be turned off by this style of shooter, but that is not deserving of a zero rating. It's free so I would suggest you try it yourself and see if it's your style of game.

    I like this game. After a lot of time with CSGO I got bored. Valorant
    is a breath of fresh air in the competitive shooters.

    Developers have great contact with community and despite the
    issues at the launch, the game is enjoyable.

    Developers are trying to patch known bugs.

    Style is very clear and you can easly see what
    is happening on screen.

The game is optimized so well in fact, that my basically 16 year old computer runs itDespite the review bombs, this game is amazing. The gunplay is similar to csgo, yes. But it isnt a "complete clone" like the review bombers may suggest. The graphics are great, and its optimized so well. In the beta, the fps drops during gunfights were awful. But they pretty much fixed that since launch. The game is optimized so well in fact, that my basically 16 year old computer runs it at 60 fps at minimum settings. and the game still looks great at the lowest graphical settings. The gunplay is precise and fair. If you're standing still and tap firing, chances are you are going to hit whatever you are aiming at. If you spray, you have a lower chance of hitting your target. Basic stuff. There's even spray patterns so you can predict how your bullets will travel. It's similarity to CSGO is arguably one of its biggest strengths, not flaws. It means that the game feels familiar. Most of the abilities are well made and fair (looking at you, Raze, Sage and Breach.) which makes for interesting gameplay. Even when the games are going slowly, there's always a chance to outplay your opponents with your abilities and gun skill. Amazing game.… Expand

    Loved this game . The graphics are super cool and all the bad reviews are coming from csgo toxic community . They are pissed because people are leaving the game for Valorant and they are doing what they do the best, being toxic .     - XP curve for the battle pass is steep.
    - Matchmaking seems off, easy to get matched into a premade while playing solo (with other solos).
    - A lot of toxic players currently, uncertain if Riot will keep allowing harassment to run rampant.
    - Graphics looks outdated, kinda cartoony (although some might enjoy that look).
    - It feels somewhat unfinished.

    Not sure if I'll enjoy this more with a bunch of hours sunk into each character (I'm basing this on both several hours since release and many hours in beta) but currently there's a lot of room for improvement.    … Expand

    Great game with unique, and good graphics, really fun and while being similar to csgo there is a distinct difference. The abilities and gunplay take some getting used to, but are very fun if you learn it. Each map has a theme behind it that makes for different gameplay. Give the game a try its free and com toe your own opinion on it..

    The maps are extremely cluttered with hallways and corners, 25% of the map you don't even play on. The game plays extremely slow. The graphics look terrible, league of legends even looks better than how this game does. Skins are overpriced. The gameplay, in general, gets boring fast. This game doesn't provide anything new or better than what cs:go or overwatch already has.

And thats the issue, there are no unique gameplay mechanics within this game. Every character and ability will remind you of another game. Theres nothing in this game that makes me think, "Oh Valorant has that!" or "What a cool and interesting mechanic!". Why does a map need to have 3 bombsites when Riot can't even design a good map with 2 bombsites??

    The balancing is also atrocious, some heros have abilites that make me question what they had in mind for this game. A hero with healing and reviving abilities in a competitive shooter where the armor is just an extension of your health and getting shot once in the body does so much damage... is Sage supposed to be Mercy from OW? In a game that is so punshing for getting shot in the foot and armor feels non-existent, healing I find is incredibly unbalanced to the dynamic of the game. The heroes in this game that are so good have so many useful abilities with 0 drawbacks. Thats what makes this game feel so unbalanced. Sova's wallhack is on a 30 second timer with virtually no consequences for using it. Free intel from him for simply existing.

    Yeah getting shot in the foot by the way brings your movement velocity from 100 to 0. Never have I ever played a game that punishes you so much for simply getting shot once, you either react fast enough to save your ass or don't and get killed sometimes for simply being unlucky. It is so easy to abuse this mechanic as well when players are forced to dry peek angles to clear areas. You have to sometimes rely so much on your teammates to refrag for you that its almost impossible for a player to display their individual skill.

    The cosemetics are also an embarassment. For a company like Riot to manufacture such flashy skins in League of Legends, Valorant's skins just look so uninspired.... and expensive. Trash looking skins for almost $10 a pop. I feel bad for the sorry suckers who bought into this crap.

    Anti-Cheat (AC) that requires so much access to your computer yet has proven to be unreliable already? Already joke with friends that this game is a Chinese root kit. I get it that in order for AC to catch more cheaters they need to be more invasive, but my trust is rather low in an AC developed by a company owned by the Chinese (Riot internally isn't exactly an altruistic company either....*cough* sexual harassment lawsuit *cough*).

    For all the people thinking bad reviews are from "toxic csgo players", please just stop. This game is such a let down from a triple A Studio like Riot. With the amount of money available to them, how is this all they manage to crap out? Its honestly laughable. How is this version of Valorant supposed to be full release? Released with only 4 maps, no ranked, terrible mechanics, & garabage cosmetic microtransactions, you are a clown for thinking a game like this will "get better with future updates."     REASON 3: GAME MECHANICS SUCK
    Player controls feel very slow, a lot of agents' skills are absolutely useless, trying to shoot is a total pain, the double firing system (normal fire for RMB and alternate fire for LMB) is totally confusing, there are way TOO MANY controls, and most of them are totally useless.
    Really, playing Seek & Destroy mode on the worst Call Of Duty ever made would be a lot funnier than playing Valorant.
    There are few weapons, and most of them feel totally the same. I tried to play many times different weapons, and they just feel like crap. Some of them are just too slow, you don't have time to react to enemy players, some of them are just the same as others, some are totally useless and unplayable.

    REASON 4: WHY RELEASING IT?
    I really don't understand how can people enjoy a game like this. This game feels just like a waste of time, each match I started I wished it would end immediately because it's totally boring since the first second of gameplay already.
    Why did Riot released an unbalanced, incomplete, boring game like this?
    I could have agreed on releasing a game this soon if it was a revolutionary idea they wanted to show to the world. But now that I tried the game I can say I'll go back to Overwatch/Paladins if I want to play a game of this genre.
    It just feels like the only one that spent time working on this game was Riot's graphic department.
    Regarding the rest of the game, I alone could have developed the code of this boring game in just a month.

    I'm confident that Riot will make its best to improve this game, but it feels to me that it will take a loooong time.

    By far the worst and most unenjoyable games I've ever played. The characters have some features that are just flat out dumb for the game, making their "competitive" shooter completely unskilled. I advise everyone to not run the game as their anti-cheat is sketchy and there's many cheaters still. Avoid this game at all costs.

После вообще начались баны, забанено уже 4 аккаунта,3-6 игр и бан, ТП не может сказать как это исправить, да и ждешь ответа от 5 до 10 дней, поддержки никакой вообще нет, заинтересованности в решении проблем так же нет, по сути тебя просто посылают только культурными словами, максимум предлагают удалить все программы/драйвера для материнской платы и видеокарты, видимо думают, что их проект настолько хорош, что я должен купить отдельно SSD, ставить на него голою систему и валорант и при игре буду просто менять ssd в ПК. Играть начал с 1 дня ЗБТ, впечатления просто отвратительные. Привлекает только то что это что-то новое, но с такими косяками мирится - себя не уважать.… Expand

    I only have a few complaints of the game, being why this is an 8 and not a 10.

    The biggest, and most problematic for me, is the maps. The maps are all varying levels of garbage. Which was a bit of shock given they have such a talented CSGO map maker on the team. Many of the maps are laid out like how someone designing their first map would create them. The only difference is they have professional skins and graphics applied to that crappy map design. Amplifying this issue, you can't choose which map(s) you want to play. It's completely random what map you end up playing. I've had so many times where I'm forced to play the same map 3-5 times in a row, with one unlucky streak where I played the ropes map 7 times in a row in the same day. Giving me the ability to choose which trash I want to play on would help out a ton with keeping me playing for longer per session.

    Other major issue is how early they released it. Some champions definitely still need a bit more balancing done, and there are still some bugs from the beta that haven't been addressed. I think the game would've benefited a good bit from the beta lasting another month or two while the dev team finishes working out bugs.

    That being said, that isn't too big of an issue. The dev team has proven that they care about the game, and are doing their best to quickly roll out patches and fix as many things as possible. They listen to the community, interact with players in comment sections and Reddit, and seem to truly care about improving the game and listening to community feedback. This is something that seems to have become extremely rare in the gaming community from large studios.

    As for everything I love about this game:
    The visuals and sounds are amazing. After 10+ years of playing almost exclusively CS, it's nice having something so Vibrant and loud. When the beta ended, I went back and tried to play CS. While I still had a good time, everything just felt empty. The map was quiet. The maps all looked monochromatic and stale. Gameplay felt very slow. Valorant excels here, where the game is actually interesting to look at. Things are bright and colorful, while enemies are still easy to see and standout against their surroundings. The sounds when getting kills is also a crazy adrenaline boost. Hearing the progressively louder and more intense sounds as you get a 2k, then 3k, then 4k, climaxing at the ace is one of the greatest feelings. This game does a great job of hyping you up and making you feel good when you're doing good.

    The weapons are also all generally great. This is one of the few games of it's kind where I actually see every weapon get used. Every weapon has it's own place in the game, with various use cases depending on the map and your playstyle.

    Champion abilities are also a huge plus for me. They're simple enough where a new player can hop in and quickly learn how to use some useful utility for their team, but have enough complexity where their use gets greatly improved as you learn how to better use them. Later on in the game, you start to learn how to combo abilities, whether with your own abilities, or with teammates' abilities. Learning and executing these combos is always an amazing experience that makes you feel like you've actually achieved something.

    Pacing is also amazing, where you can either play very slow like you would in a game like CS, or you can play at hyperspeed, zooming into sites, flying over walls and around corners, shooting off abilities and killing enemies along the way.

    To top things off, all microtransations are purely cosmetic, and there's no RNG/loot crate portion of them. If you want a skin or collection of skins, you can purchase exactly that, and know what you're getting. People who don't want to spend money can grind out any of the various free champion skins. The battle pass is also a pretty great addition. It's relatively cheap, and gets you more than your money's worth very early into the pass.

    Overall, I think the game is something new and unique, and I've had a great time playing and watching it. The game is competitive enough with a good skill ceiling that you can enjoy and be impressed watching professional gamers play it, while also having simple enough base mechanics and enough fun stuff implemented that you can have a good time watching lower skill people just messing around and having fun.

    I had access to the closed beta and have played the "full" release for Valorant and this game is a example of fence-sitting to the worse degree. This game is so disappointing. It tries to walk the line of a tactical shooter and a hero shooter and fails to execute either concept well. Don't even get me started on the abilities, 90% of them are just smoke. Pretty much all aspects of Valorant are done better in other games, the only thing Valorant has going for it right now is that it's a new experience.

    There were also claims by Riot of low ping games, but almost every game I played was plagued with lag. At first I questioned my internet but after troubleshooting and multiple speed tests this was not the case.

    What is the point in having a game where you can't even have fun? Given the fact that Valorant is free-to-play, you'd assume this was done with the intent of opening this game up to a wider audience but nope. It seems Riot don't really want that, the skill curve is ridiculous in this game and it seems expected that you've spent hundreds of hours in CS:GO before even daring to load up this game or you spend your life training scenarios. Call me bad, I don't care, I shouldn't have to go into a game expecting a chore and that's exactly what Valorant is. Good maps are ruined by slow gameplay. The pace of this game is SLOW, each game is a slog, you go through the motions, doing what you're supposed to, trying your best to work with your team, you creep around the map, then BANG you're instantly dead from someone peeking with a vandal. No chance to learn and no chance to improve. Did I mention the balancing is terrible? One major success of Valorant is that Riot have once again managed to foster one of the most toxic communities in gaming. Whether it's trolls disrupting the game, cheaters or getting abused via voice and text chat, Valorant has something for everyone who wants to play a game and have no fun. Without fail almost every single game of Valorant I played had an individual or group ruining the game for everyone else, yet communication and teamwork is essential to winning. I'm all for blowing off steam in voice chat, in fact I thinks it's pretty funny a lot of the time, but there's a line where it crosses into harassment. I'm not blaming Riot for these peoples actions, however it is their job to moderate and crack down on this behaviour. Giving this a 5 because it's definitely not a 0.    … Expand

    This game is incredible. Amazing gunplay with unique agents. The main reason people are leaving negative reviews is because Valorant is the final nail in the coffin for CSGO. Try it before you knock it.

    I played a bit in the beta and a bit since launch. Honestly I don't understand all the hate this game is getting. It's pretty fun honestly. It's a little rough around the edges and maybe has some overpriced skins but it's free so idk. I can't help the feeling that this game is getting a little bit of the fortnight treatment.     The maps just don’t feel good and there are not enough maps in rotation. The anti-cheat is very intrusive and doesn’t even work good, I already faced some cheaters and it makes me wonder if it’s really worth it being this intrusive.     I had a blast when I played the game yesterday, awesome characters, fantastic gunplay, the maps are meh, but I still enjoy them, the new map is awesome and that shows that riot heard the complaints from the beta.

    Sadly, this great game gets review bombed because some kid who likes counter strike don't want this game to succeed. But believe me, it will. The map designs are horrendous, you’ll be walking down a hallway and check 34 corners and indents for enemies and when you reach 35 someone’s gonna get you. The agents are more of a gimmick, it’s not like you’re gonna have a complete laid out strategy that requires perfect planning with them.     Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

    Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
