    This game has is amazing. The storyline, the characters and how much you can change reality depending what path you choose, you can tell how much effort they put in this game. I really like how they give their main characters such different personalities, and how you could choose between good and evil is very amazing and deceiving.     it was the best bullet hell RPG game I have ever played in my entire life! I recommend to everyone because of the feeling of when you kill Toriel and be sad about what you have done, the happiness when you get the monsters out of the underground whit all the feelings and gameplay it is a perfect game even if I played it 5 years later it is still a perfect game to everyone I talk, good jobit was the best bullet hell RPG game I have ever played in my entire life! I recommend to everyone because of the feeling of when you kill Toriel and be sad about what you have done, the happiness when you get the monsters out of the underground whit all the feelings and gameplay it is a perfect game even if I played it 5 years later it is still a perfect game to everyone I talk, good job Toby and I am thrilled to play the sequel Deltarune.… Expand

    This Game is amazing, It has a good story, its funny and all around a good game. You should get it if you have enough money, you probably do and your only here to see if its worth it (it is worth it)

    You are never gonna find anything like Undertale. This game is absolutely unique, story is just AMAZING, characters are really interesting, fighting is unique and music.. that's what made the game complete for me. I highly suggest to give it a try.

    A wonderful indie title, with the only drawback the art style which could be better. But it serves it's purpose of offering you a charming adventure. With nice bits of humor.
    The story is a bit convoluted to account for the multiple playthroughs, but for me the word that describes this game is charming and as such the pacifist route is the one I naturally took.     Don't mean if the monsters are monsters they're bads guys. That's the message that left me this game. There are various ways to complete this indie: kill everyone (Genocide), kill and spare some (neutral) spare all the monster in the underground (pacifist). One of the best computer games that I found on steam. 10€ is also a good price. With all your friends, you can free the monsters toDon't mean if the monsters are monsters they're bads guys. Contradiction between themes in game. On one hand, the game wants to work on difficult themes and choices like death, treason, fear; but uses cute and childish characters.     . Contradiction between themes in game. On one hand, the game wants to work on difficult themes and choices like death, treason, fear; but uses cute and childish characters. The themes doesn't match witch the characters. For example, how is possible that a child (protagonist) manages to kill huge monsters.
    . Unfortunately, it's a text-only game. If voice acting was in game for the characters, it would be awesome.
    . Plot. There are many endings to the game and among them 3 great paths (Pacifist, neutral and genocidal). You will only understand the plot and magnitude of the choices, if you complete the game in the 3 paths. But that requires to complete the game 3x from the beginning. And to get such endings you will have to seek help on the internet (tutorials).
    . The game is too short. You can finish in 2 hours in speed run    … Expand

    Początkowo nie lubiłem gier z pixelartem, Były dla mnie po prostu brzydkie. Jednak po ukończeniu Undertale (do czego zachęcili mnie moi znajomi) udowodnino mi, że grafika w grach tak naprawdę się nie liczy. Skończyłem Undertale dwoma zakończeniami, pacyfistycznymi i neutralnymi, jeszcze nie ukończyłęm genocide, ale jestem w toku.

    It's hard to give something a 10/10. To me, a 10/10 would mean you've had an experience that's nothing short of amazing, and the result of that experience lingers on for years after it's happened. To me that's Undertale. It's one of the very few games that has shaped my life in more ways than I ever could've thought before playing it, and calling it a masterpiece is an understatement.It's hard to give something a 10/10. Every character is special in undertake there not gimmicky they all can bounce off each other whether it's sans making jokes at papyrus expense whether it's papyrus wanting to be in the royal guard and undyne wanting to keep him out of harms way and when the characters die it feels real very early have I come close to crying in a video game but I'm not going to act like this game is better then it is the graphics are good at best it could probably be run on a toaster with enough optimization and tweaking if they wanted to but this game is amazing that soundtrack though it complls you into the current situation after you always feel terrible after you kill someone in undertale even if there not a main character in my gaming experience never have I ever felt genuinely like trash when I kill a little frog In a video game you can tell each character even side characters has a genuine life and freinds and a personality there is never a flat. Character that doesent have some sortve belief you can explain most of the characters personalitys in a couple of seconds because of how simple the characters are even more advanced characters can be explained easily in a couple of seconds besides chara which is bassicly the player your the one who is making these decisions your the one controlling the character making these decisions it's almost as if every life you take your character is doing against there will and they provide a reason for you respawning known as resetting little things like that gives games like undertale more life and its hardware compatibility is insane that's what I meant when I said you could run undertale on a toaster But one problem with the game is the run time the run time of this game is almost tragic with being able to complete all routes of the game in less then 15 hours while taking my time and I'd say 2 hours of that was from fighting sans and that leads to another pro the boss fights are acctually hard and aren't easy you feel accomplished once you beat the genocide route but somehow seemlessly they make it more rewarding to complete the pacifist route even though that's the easiest version of the game there's no hard or easy mode it's just an adventure and I know everyone is so tired of the "it's an immersive adventure" type of phrase but it's the truth the graphics aren't bad acctually because of the art style it meshes well with the world and makes it infinitely more enjoyable for me At the end of the day this game will not knock anyone's socks off but it's so great to just relax of course you will never be able to relax when your in a boss fight but just sit down with your keyboard and mouse and enjoy the ride this game set up so many things to worry about I just gave up on keeping track I just decided you know what Toby fox? Take me where you want to go because attempting to keep track of all the potential interactions and scenarios is a idiotic move your meant to just sit there and enjoy tha dang ride because there are so many different things I have not touched the surface of the surface of details in this game in the average review but I hope I painted a picture for how amazing a creation Toby fox made… Expand

    Some areas are really linear (hell! the whole game feels linear!) and not explorable. And this talk about this game being an RPG is bullcrap because in what RPG do you get punished for beating enemies? THIS GAME! Items are really limited in genocide path and using items is punished because you have to save them for the final boss!     Good game with a very basic gameplay but overall really interesting with a good story and diferent ways to play the game that will lead you to diferent outcomes. I recommend this of course.

    It was the most impactful and enjoying video game i have played in a while, unique characters, great soundtrack, interesting story, good use of humor and bullet hell mechanics different from each character. It helped me through a tough time and its message is really important

    2015 was an interesting year. So many games came out but this one was standing out. UNDERTALE was the Game of the Year, for me personally. The music, the graphics, the deep story in both POVs. This game right here changed so many lives, including myself.

    Toby Fox made a great game and some people may disagree with me on this one but UNDERTALE is one of the most iconic games of all time.

That said, this game felt thoroughly unique with its mixture of catchy writing, endearing charm, soulful humanity and sheer backasswardness. At times disheartened by the bullet-hellish challenges too frustrating for my old-man reflexes, I was nevertheless filled with DETERMINATION and managed to rediscover that home is where the heart is.    … Expand

    i remember how i was so late playing this game. and i regret that. this game doesnt need to be "cinematic" to tell its story. Oh and of course the music is top-tier

    With multiple endings based on how you choose to play out your run, set pieces that can play out very differently based on your actions and so many incredible moments that we’d love to share but daren’t do so for risk of spoiling anything, Undertale is easily one of the indie standouts of last year.

    Through a combination of often relaxed but sometimes tense gameplay, a dreamy atmosphere, and genuine characters that feel like they’re actually alive and all living together in this isolated society of longing, Undertale transcends its medium and becomes a genuinely moving experience I would recommend to anyone who is open to a sometimes sorrowful, sometimes hilarious, always bizarre and engaging emotional journey.
