Oct 3, 2015Mediocrity that makes blatant use of nostalgic love for much better games. Sold entirely on the word of hipsters that want to be in on the ground floor of the newest hit. Do not buy or play this game. Don't even play it even if you didn't pay for it. Leave the steaming turd on the sidewalk where it belongs.

Aug 29, 2019Undertale is one of those gaming experiences that you won't forget. The game is full of an amazing cast of characters that are very memorable alongside a plot that can be altered by the decisions you make throughout the game. Plus the music is amazing too. I love this game so much and I highly advise you buy it considering how little it costs.

Sep 10, 2022Undertale's characters are always surprising you in hilarious, heartwarming, and sometimes even scary ways, while the meta elements question how we approach games. However, this reliance on surprise gives it very little replay value.

Apr 16, 2021"You are filled with determination".
Masterpiece.
No seriously, Toby Fox is a genius. To create an unusual, unimaginable game, and even with such an approach to it, is very impressive. In addition, the soundtrack is simply one of the best that I have heard in all the games I have passed. -
May 10, 2021I was suprised, when i saw how many ideas can u put into one sigle game, and its jrpg. Toby Fox is genius. Every single charakted got his own sould, music in this game is masterpice. Combat system could be better, this is why its not 10/10 game. Plot is fantastic, you will find a lot of esteer eggs, many hiden mechanic, and what is most important, you can be who you want in this game.

Feb 8, 2023Now this game is pretty epic, and I like it a lot. my only complaint is that I cannot kill Simon Cowell in the genocide route. Other than that it was a decent game.

Oct 9, 2015Undertale is a really good game. The soundtrack is amazing and it is the closest game to the mother series that I could find. I really suggest this game for anybody who likes retro style games.
-
Oct 11, 2015EPIC game... it is a MUST play. Music, design, character and story. Every comes together to create an unique experience that you cannot find nowadays. I even don't know how to express myself here. I created an account just to rate this game.

Oct 5, 2015WELL. This is different. Finally an indie game gets to compete with AAA titles... maybe for GOTY? All hopes for that ^.^ all though it should be GOTY it probably wont be, because who knows, Fallout 4 could be the best game ever made.

Oct 19, 2015Emotional roller-coaster. Plenty of dogs. Great music. What else could you want?
Game play is a bit dull; this is a faux-NES game, afterall. Play it, even if for 20 minutes if you're into story and character development. -
Nov 11, 2015This game honestly made me cry.
One of the best games I've ever seen.
The multiple endings and the story.. it's just awesome!
Warning: Lot of twists :P -

Nov 3, 2015Anyone who says this is not a good game wouldn't know a good game if it came right up and punched them in the face. This is not just a good game, it is one of the BEST games you will ever play. Unless you have no soul: then you're going to have a bad time ;) The detail, the thought, the ingenuity and originality of this game is second to none, and equaled by very few.

Nov 21, 2015Do yourself a favor and play this game without knowing anything about it. This game is a whole other experience. This isn't just a simple rpg, Undertale has created its own genre.
-
Dec 1, 2015Everything about this game is amazing.
The bad puns.
The goofy characters.
The hilarious and entertaining boss fights.
Everything is just designed to perfection. This game deserves every ounce of hype it's received. It honestly changed the way I've looked at video games and even life itself! Everybody NEEDS to give it a chance.

Jan 16, 2017Undertale is absolutely unique. It's a RPG masterpiece full of weird characters and a moving message.

Mar 4, 2016With multiple endings based on how you choose to play out your run, set pieces that can play out very differently based on your actions and so many incredible moments that we’d love to share but daren’t do so for risk of spoiling anything, Undertale is easily one of the indie standouts of last year.
-
Feb 23, 2016Through a combination of often relaxed but sometimes tense gameplay, a dreamy atmosphere, and genuine characters that feel like they’re actually alive and all living together in this isolated society of longing, Undertale transcends its medium and becomes a genuinely moving experience I would recommend to anyone who is open to a sometimes sorrowful, sometimes hilarious, always bizarre and engaging emotional journey.
